Finally made it here after hearing about the amazing view sometime ago. The view is amazing!! Probably the best view of DC and the best view in the DMV. The pictures don’t do it justice. The food and cocktails were great but you definitely come here for the view. Can’t go wrong with the hummus and assorted bread. Perfect for a starter and was our fav. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the octopus but the Shrimp Paccheri Pasta and the Mushroom Bolognese Paccheri Pasta dishes were pretty good. We also enjoyed a view rounds of Margarita Royales. Service was a little slow at first but the restaurant spins and does a full rotation about every 47 minutes, so you can always put your order in and tell your waiter whatcha need when you circle back around lol. Just teasing but yeah you could. It’s a little pricey but again you are paying for the amazing view and experience. Absolutely worth it.

Google
We had a wonderful experience overall. The service was truly exceptional — every member of the staff we interacted with was warm, attentive, and kind. The food was great as well. I personally had the crab sandwich, which was flavorful and very satisfying. The octopus dish we all shared was actually quite delicious — well-seasoned and tender. That said, a few of us felt a bit off the next day. We’re not entirely sure the octopus was the cause, but it was the only dish we all had in common. Could just be a coincidence, but worth mentioning gently. The setting is charming, with a touch of old-fashioned elegance. It may feel a bit dated in spots, but still retains a certain classy appeal. And the views are absolutely stunning — a perfect backdrop to a relaxing meal. We’d definitely return. The atmosphere, the flavors, and the service made it a memorable stop.

Google
The atmosphere at this restaurant is spectacular. It takes roughly 45minutes for the restaurant to do a full rotation. You are able to see views from all around the location, including the monument, the airport, and the river, are just a few to name. I made a reservation for my friends birthday and their customer service was extremely accommodating. They brought out a dessert with candles without me even having to ask. Overall 5/5 star !

Google
Came here the other day to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday with him, and it was a fantastic experience! We were seated early, the food was delicious, our waiter was kind and attentive, the views are amazing, and they even gave us a complimentary dessert with a candle in it to celebrate. Amazing dining experience and I hope to be back one day. Thank you!

Google
Rotating panoramic view overlooking the Pentagon, and Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA). - Grilled Octopus: Full length tentacle perfectly cooked, slight but noticeable and even char. A mild smokiness perfumes the meat, but serves only to highlight the octopus flavor. - Corn Hash (side): Unexpectedly memorable. A few simple ingredients, perfectly proportioned in quantity and size, resulting in a balanced accompaniment to the Octopus. - Truffle Fries: Unique texture and stand out flavor profile. Distinct crisp exterior without a hint of excess oil, the truffle and salt are front and center. The interior is light and fluffy, but the exterior crisp is thick and provides a clean platform for the garlic aioli.

Google
Absolutely loved the experience. Beautiful views. Great food and service. Unexpected fireworks in DC! I will agree with another reviewer that it was a bit chilly. Plan to wear something to keep you warmer. Overall a wonderful birthday treat for a friend.

Google
Overall a great restaurant! Wonderful view all the way around the restaurant. You don’t even realize that you are rotating. Only downfall… there was an issue with the air so it wasn’t cool in there but it was tolerable.

It's beautiful. The service was top notch & the food was excellent. We had a lovely evening & a great dinner!

Yelp
The view was absolutely beautiful. I can imagine this is a great place to go on business meetings etc or maybe a special occasion. The prices were not as bad as many other places in the area. My food was all fresh and tasty and the service was excellent. I do not drink but those that did said the bar had great service as well.

Yelp
The waiters were very nice and friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful, with a unique setup, though the seating area felt a little crowded. As the inner section rotated, I noticed it was even a bit challenging for the staff to get through. Still, the overall setting was relaxing, especially with the stunning night view. For food, we ordered the shrimp pasta, which was delicious, everyone really enjoyed it. The salmon was also tender and flavorful. I ordered the ribeye, which interestingly came as two smaller cuts instead of one big slab (not sure if that's how they serve it), but it was cooked just the way I like, medium. The dish came with classic sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus, and I loved it. Service could have been a little sharper at times, but the staff were genuinely kind and not snobby at all. We forgot to ask if Skydome validates parking, but overall, it was a fun restaurant to experience, definitely worth trying at least once! I forgot to take a picture of the salmon and shrimp pasta dish.

Yelp
This is a review for the July 4th party. We got tickets for the family-friendly party, which was held on the 14th floor of the hotel, just below the skydome. Tickets were $60 a week before the event, and rose up to $90 the day before the event. Five of us went, including my son (whose ticket was $40). This price did not include an additional 20% gratuity that was added on at checkout. Pros -Awesome views -Several different rooms and a "play room" for kids -Good variety of food, which I thought was tasty Cons Event was oversold and way too crowded. This meant that the hotel parking garage was completely full when we arrived, and all the street parking around the hotel was taken. We had to park in a parking garage about 10 minutes away. The lines to check-in for the event and get food from the buffet were crazy long. They ran out of plates several times at the buffet (I would recommend that they use disposable plates in the future.) Guests were getting frustrated waiting in line. Seating was limited- there were not enough tables and chairs for everyone to sit. (I would recommend removing the dance floor and setting up more tables and chairs. Barely anyone danced.) Non-alcoholic drinks, aside from water, coffee, and tea, were not included in the ticket price. I understand having a cash bar, but they could have at least provided soft drinks or juice. All in all, this event could be great, if they limited the number of tickets sold. I would have paid more per ticket, if it meant the event would be a lot less crowded. The tickets for the 21+ event in the skydome were $200, so I wonder if those guests had a different experience (even for that price, guests still had to deal with the limited parking and long check-in lines. Also, it wasn't an open bar for them.) I would not attend this event again due to the overcrowding.

Yelp
We were looking for some place special to celebrate our anniversary and this fit the bill perfectly. All of the food was well prepared and tasty. Service was great. View was spectacular! We were not rushed out and got to experience 2 full rotations. Our reservation was at 7:00pm so we could enjoy the view during daylight and the sunset into the evening to see everything lit up. Wanted to get the crème brûlée but they ran out but chocolate mousse was good. We had the crab dip which had the best bread to go with it. Also had the salmon and the pasta entrees. Salmon was cooked perfectly.

Yelp
4 Overall (3 food & 5 views) View is great and navigating to the Skydome is an adventure itself (multiple elevators). Overlooks the pentagon, DC, DCA. It is expensive and the food is not great. I think the drinks and dessert were fine. Service was fine. It's funny - although tables are typically numbered in restaurants, you can actually see the table numbers here (given the rotating it would be impossible otherwise). There was a very small bar that 2 people were sitting at that wasn't rotating.

Yelp
Had a great dinner at Skydome restaurant! We had reservations for 5 and was immediately greeted when we arrived. Skydome's dining area rotates and gives you amazing views of the Pentagon, Washington Monument and the Potomac River. We ordered a charcuterie board for our appetizer and an old fashioned and I got a cosmo. For dinner we had cesear salad, crab cake sandwich and fries. It was all delicious. Will revisit this restaurant when I'm in the area again.

Yelp
Service was great. Food wasn't bad . Ambiance is calm. Nice views as expected . I enjoyed the salmon and the crab dip. The creme brule was actually really delicious . I was surprised .
google avatar

Yelp
Service was iffy, we waited an hour for the food, this could be a plus if you're enjoying the view, however the floor moves in a circle so everyone can get a great view, but it gave me slight motion sickness so unfortunately I felt that full hour that we were waiting on the food the food itself was definitely yummy though!

Yelp
The fact that this is only 4 stars is on me, because both times I went to Skydome was right around the time of last call and haven't been able to savor their full menu. Reading it, the Americana classics menu runs the gamut from pasta & burgers to steak, along with a solid selection of sides. Similarly the cocktail menu. A 5-star experience starts with their bar staff, who even though I arrived two milliseconds before last call still made a couple of great cocktails. The excellence extends into the panoramic view of DC. If the night is close to full moon - even better! My drinks were their "Sunset Sipper", a smooth nightcap consisting of rum (my substitution), grapefruit juice, elderflower liqueur, honey syrup, and orange bitters. It was blended just right to unwind and have a smooth redeye flight back. Their Malibu Room Orange Bloom was another excellent cocktail. I look forward to returning soon!

Yelp
Really enjoyed this spot. The view is absolutely fabulous, the service is great, and the rotating restaurant is a lot of fun. We ordered off their seasonal spring menu that was cherry blossom themed (this was a few months ago) and it was fabulous. I can't remember what I got exactly anymore (damn me for writing this review late), but I do remember that the salad I had to start was absolutely excellent (and had cherries). I would love to come back here and try more of their seasonal offerings.

Yelp
The food was great! The staff friendly and it's all about the experience here!! We brought our oldest grandson for his 16th birthday!! He chose this restaurant for the views. You have to park under in the garage, but don't let the $25 parking scare you. They validate parking.

Yelp
Food - I will give it one star - the crab cake sandwich was so not fresh that it was not edible. My mom stopped eating it after two bites to avoid getting sick. Please stay away from the cocktails - we ordered two, one is barely ok and the other one tasted like stinky dish washer. Service was quite slow on a Saturday night which I understand, but our side order was missing and they did take it off from the receipt at the end. Our server was so busy that he barely checked on us throughout the dinner. I was so frustrated when I asked twice for water. The only star that I gave was because of the view. It was a good view but not amazing kind. I've been to revolving restaurants in many cities around the world and this one is absolutely the worst. What a shame for the nation's capital.
google avatar

Alyssa C.

Yelp
Was staying at the hotel so decided to come for dessert and wine to take in the view. We came right around sunset time so got to see DC at a beautiful hour from up high. The charcuterie board was very tasty but didn't include much. The wine list was good. I got the apple crisp for dessert which was warm and crispy. I loved have the ice cream in it's on dish so it didn't melt fast or get the crisp soggy. Service was quick and attentive but reservations or a must!
google avatar

Yelp
Food was cool, definitely like an experience to check out. Everyone should try at least once. The viewwww was amazing!
google avatar

Keturah E.

Yelp
Great staff, but honestly this place is not worth the hype. Food was bland, my drink was only "ok", and the circular movement actually made me dizzy.

Linda W.

Yelp
let me begin by stating the view is amazing. I had a great time fellowshipping with family and friends. However the food is absolutely terrible. we had a party of 7 and only 1 person (a teen)stated their food was okay. The prices are very high. You are definitely paying for the view. The service is mediocre. If you are looking for delicious food avoid this spot at all cost
google avatar

Yelp
The food was amazing and delightful! It is restaurant week in Arlington where their menu consisted of delicious options for a vegetarian like myself. The service was amazing, the hostess guided us to the sky dome, our server was very kind, and everyone else was just genuinely nice. The ambiance is very relaxing, the view of the establishment was very lovely. The spinning was fun twist for dining. I definitely hope to go again in the future and with the position they're in I think they would do well if they offered a sunrise brunch special.

Laurie D.

Yelp
DO NOT GO! I cannot stress this enough. We made a reservation for my birthday, was seated immediately. There were rotating fans scattered all over the room because the a/c was broken (almost 90° temps). They offered 5 drafts but only had 2 in stock. We placed our order from their very limited menu. I had the Shrimp Paccheri Pasta, my daughter had the Peach and Burrata salad, and my husband had the hummus. My pasta was pasty and swimming in a broken cream sauce, my daughter and my husband liked theirs. While rotating you can see how old and run down this place is and we also had a 4th member to our party...A ROACH crawling on the window. And finally even though I mentioned twice that it was a birthday celebration, no one even acknowledged that. The only positive was the view. 80% gorgeous 20% buildings and the bar! Will never be back.
google avatar

Yelp
I did enjoy the fantastic views however my burger was a little overcooked and for the price I would've like more fries with it otherwise I don't have many complaints
google avatar

Yelp
Skydome is a slightly hidden gem of a view of downtown DC and Arlington. Getting there requires following an almost yellow brick road in the Double Tree hotel, but the staff had no problem pointing us in the right direction and mentioning you have to change elevators at a certain level. We got there in time for our reservation, highly recommend a reservation. Drink menu is fantastic. Food menu decent. The prices reflect the elevated environment. Overall, the staff was great and I would come back for drinks and the view. Thanks!
google avatar

Naomi P.

Yelp
This place was great for the view. But the service is what brought the rating down. The servers were slow to take our order and bring our drinks out. The place wasn't packed when we had sat down so wasn't sure why it took over 15 minutes to get drinks out. We ordered a smoked drink but then the waiter brought out an old fashion type drink just a fat block of ice and no smoke. We asked what happened to the smoke and he said oh our smoker isn't working... so not sure why he wouldn't mention that first when we ordered the drink. Also took a while to get our bill which was a bit annoying since we had been done for a bit and called the waiter over a bit ago The food was good !

Yelp
The DMV's own space needle! I don't know why this place isn't advertised more. It's right here in Crystal City. Shown as $$$ but really only $$. It rotates 360 degrees about once every hour. Food is American, but oh so delicious! The drink menu was unique and creative. Staff was super friendly as well. I made a reservation for a Friday night, but it wasn't packed at all. Perfect date night location. Definitely going back like a Christian to Church on Sundays.
google avatar

Yelp
Service Wonderful, accommodating service. Our food was hot and delivered quickly and in timely fashion given we had three courses. Food The shrimp pasta was incredible and when I say they make that pasta al dente to perfection, they really did! I was told that the Seabass was equally delicious with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The appetizer was cheesy crab dip, which I enjoyed although slightly too much cheese, but still really good and rich. The baguettes served along with the crab dip or chewy surprisingly. Not crisp as though it was from an oven, but it was as though it were from a microwave oven. I returned it and kindly replaced it with pretzel bread, which was much better. Dessert was chocolate mousse, which was pretty good slightly too sweet and it could've been a little more chilled but overall it was good but I could not finish it. We shared it. Ambience Absolutely the best ambience ever the nighttime view is incredible. The daytime view is even nice. To see the monument and planes takeoff along with a perfectly dim restaurant. It was a great evening. However, we do have suggestions for a renovation of the layout. Get rid of the restroom all together and get rid of the bar altogether. Separate the revolving floor by an additional 6 feet from the door. We had a great server also- Robert.

Yelp
Rotating restaurant with awesome views of DC that is on the top of the Marriott in Crystal City The rotation made me feel a little queasy, the service is sub-par, and the food is both basic and extremely overpriced, but it was a cool experience none-the-less Pro-tip: They validate your ticket if you park in the hotel's parking lot, which is otherwise $25
google avatar

Brieanna S.

Yelp
Absolutely yes! For your next sexy date this is the place to be! Now although DC, and the neighboring VA area isn't the highest place, if you want to go to Top of The World in Vegas without the flight - skydome is your spot! The rotating floor with views of Virginia to the national mall are stunning. The only cons are - in my humble opinion- the menus and the table/chairs could be elevated to create a more chic atmosphere overall. But the food was amazing and the wine selection is pretty good overall (just missing a sweet red!). The service was attentive and speedy and was open to letting me try wine options before settling on just one. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Tina P.

Yelp
First time here and won't be coming back. It's atop of a hotel and parking is a hassle and costs $25 in the underground garage which is extremely small. Only good thing about this place is the view. As a big foodie myself I enjoy good food at a reasonable price along with good service. The food is brought up via elevator on a hot cart. My partner and I went for my birthday and we got the grilled octopus which was overcooked. Additionally, I got a white wine and my glass was quite dirty. Just like the other reviews, the service is slow and regular.. Nothing else special about this place besides the view. I'd rather eat good food at an indoor restaurant with nice interior design. I don't recommend.
google avatar

Casey Lyn B.

Yelp
Celebrated our anniversary and he surprised me on this location. Pretty cool this exists in the DMV area. FYI, the "floor" moves SLOWLY in a circle so you can get the whole 360 view of DC. We ordered bread & a mushroom spread from the app menu, and I ordered the Salmon with a side of Riesling. Food isn't bad, but the serving is quite small and food is way overpriced. I would only recommend this spot for people that have not tried to experience the cool setting. I would not come here again though because you can get better food elsewhere and for better pricing.
google avatar

Tania A.

Yelp
This venue has so much potential... But unfortunately it doesn't translate with the vibe, drinks, menu and food as it currently is. It was extremely difficult to get to the restaurant, and the elevators which take you to the Skydome were also not so cleanly. Once you get over the novelty of the revolving restaurant experience, there's really nothing else that special or wowed me.
google avatar

Kaneisha W.

Yelp
Went here for date night. The experience was amazing. The floor slowly moves around in a circle so that you can get a great view of the city. The ambiance was so beautiful. I felt welcomed as soon as I entered the restaurant. The service provided by the staff was exceptional. The food was delicious! I will be returning again!

Yelp
Food: 4/5 My boyfriend ordered the filet which he said was good, I ordered the salmon which I thought was yummy but overcooked. The sauce it was in was delicious though. We split the truffles fries which were good also, typically can't go wrong with a good truffle fry! Service: 3/5 Our waiter was decent, seemed to be preoccupied causing him to not be as attentive, but I'd say he was still nice and direct. The wait for the food was extremely long though, it was about 40 to 45 minutes, causing us to be late to our next destination. Ambiance: 5/5 The views were amazing, especially at a window seat (which they were able to accommodate for us after about a 15 minute wait.) On top of that the playlist was solid with kaytranada in the rotation! All in all I'd rate the experience altogether a 4/5, it was a nice place to celebrate a birthday dinner, with great views, and decent food, just wished the food didn't take so long.

Yelp
So arriving, we pulled in and parked down under the Doubletree for $25. The signs will point you where you need to go. Take the elevator to floor 14 and then take the 3rd elevator to floor 15, The Skydome. How excititing! A restaurant that rotates 360 so you get different views while you eat! The ambiance is super nice and the service was awesome! A few of the waitresses work together to make sure the customers are all taken Care of. Now for what we consumed. I had the grilled octopus minus the corn beef and the salmon with truffle fries. My sister had the Caesar salad with chicken. The grilled octopus was too fatty. It was seasoned well but you would be chewing for days. The potatoes to the side were ok and the corn was ok too with some pieces being too hard. I thought the combination was a little much for an appetizer. My sister enjoyed her Caesar salad though. My salmon was good but could use a little more seasoning. The fries were ok as well. I gave the place 3 stars because of the ambiance and service. I was glad to go for the experience.

Yelp
Had a reservation July 4th booked through Open Table at Dome restaurant. Upon arrival sent to a large function room, not Dome, where there were no enough tables and chairs for number of people attending. Food that had been prepaid for was mediocre at best. Hot food was not hot. Definitely a letdown to a much anticipated experience. Never again.

Yelp
I have always steered clear of these type of restaurants in the past because I viewed them as overpriced with mediocre food, but after our recent visit, I was actually quite impressed. It was a little trippy at first to look up throughout our meal and to realize the view had changed, but it was very cool and during the night around Christmas, it was really pretty. Our waiter Roberto was very nice, professional and patient. For the holidays, they offered a mistletoe margarita that was really refreshing. For apps, we tried the green curry hummus and it was delicious. For mains we opted for the Faroe island salmon with a side of exotic mushrooms and creamed spinach. The salmon was perfectly prepared and our meal was just as delicious as the hummus. The only negative was that the carpet has seen better days, but outside of that, I do recommend visiting, preferably at night.

Yelp
My homegirl and I tried this aerial restaurant out for the first time. Reservations are a little hard to come by so don't be too picky but definitely try to get a sunset view. When I drove past, I saw it on the left and was surprised by how small it looked and how low to the ground. I believe it's on the 16th floor but looking at it from outside, it doesn't seem so high up. Make sure to park in the hotel garage and enjoy your free 4 hour stay with validation. This may be during the week because I have seen people state it's only 2 hours. I at the sign upon entering the garage and it stated 4 hours but I didn't want to risk it and when I realized we were past 2 hours, we decided not to press our luck and left. The ambiance is nice and I love their small menu. I ordered the sauteed gnocchi alla vodka for my entree and the salted caramel mousse for my dessert. Staying true to the menu, my shrimp was small as well unfortunately and over cooked. I'm not too sure the gnocchi was sauteed efficiently to mention it being sauteed. It made me want a sear on them but that wasn't present at all. They were very soft and lacking in flavor on their own. It definitely could just be my preference remembering having fresh seared gnocchi from Heritage 485 that's long gone ‍ but that small amount of browning gives it an extra depth of flavor. A little spice would have definitely gave the dish more character as well. The velvet butterfly I was an interesting cocktail. Transforming from the yellow lemonade color just as it taste; to a gorgeous purple from the pea flower ice cube as it sat slowly melting and tempting me to twirl it in my glass as if it were red wine. The caramel mousse definitely stole the show for me. Perfect levels of saltiness and creamy caramel topped with dark chocolate to deliver the crunch when needed. I seriously had to tell myself not to order a second. Definitely an experience worth trying. It was fun seeing the different landmarks from that view as we slowly spun. Like I suggested prior, make sure to enjoy the sunset because that view is gorgeous

Yelp
This experience was a bit underwhelming. Ambience - not much of it. I didn't hear music play. Or. Anyone welcoming you. Looking all smily or happy. No one actually welcomed us at all. Place is not as big as it appeared on Instagram reel. It's a smaller round area. And unless you sitting by the window. Nothing to see views wise. Also bar area is tiny. Only 4-5 seats. And no vibe whatsoever I got a drink and couldn't wait to get out so opted out of food. There was nowhere to even stand to take cute pictures. Also. Elevators super slow. And make sure you get on the right one. That says SD on it. Garage is a maze. Remember your south or north entrance. Each has 2 exit doors Honestly i ll never go back. It's a great idea. But lacking ambience and friendly staff
google avatar

JT M.

Yelp
I can't really recommend this place. It was like $150 and nothing was special. Service was slow. Food was alright. The restaurant spins super slow and I guess it's a nice gimmick. I wouldn't come back even if I lived in the area.

Yelp
I think this is a pretty cool venue. The circular room always moves (albeit slowly), so the view changes yet remains the same. I'm not sure there's another place to see DC in such a unique manner. It takes 47 minutes to make it around one time. It's magical at night when all the lights are sparkling. The food is average, and service is friendly and earnest. There isn't really a dinner to be had here -- it's a lounge spot in terms of menu and drinks. The mushroom pizza is tasty; the chicken wings are flavorful, if a bit chewy. Am underwhelmed by the dessert selections of macarons and chocolate mousse. This isn't about the cuisine. Take in the dazzling, aerial vistas and enjoy. I like the jazzy, subdued recorded music that plays, obviously curated for this specific site. Great date spot. Dress warmly in cold weather, however. All that glass is a poor insulator. The Skydome is found on top of the Doubletree Hotel in Arlington. Parking is validated for 2 hours in the hotel's parking lot, found underground. Reservations are required and easy to make. It's been closed during Covid and just recently re-opened, about a month or so ago. I know because I've been trying to get in here for over two years.

Yelp
AWESOME SAUCE! I saw this restaurant online and had to try it out! It was a cute lil rooftop spot in VA. So when you arrive, you walk through the hotel, get on one elevator, get off, and then get on a special blue elevator that takes you to the Skydome. Its not a large venue, I would say its very intimate and cozy. It actually spins so you see all the sites on all side of the building! I went to the bathroom and my fiance was not where I left him- I was so perplexed! LOL! I forgot the restaurant actually spins!!! Our waiter was nice and helpful. The food was pretty good- no complaints. It is definitely a romantic spot or just a great dining experience. I would recommend to others. Worth a visit- Check it out!

Yelp
360 views of the capital. It rotates but its very slow moving...some can feel it. But its a great way to see it all. Our waiter Robert was great. Food was good. The charcuterie and the crab dip were delicious. If in area highly recommend. Cocktails are great too. One thing to note. They do not serve coffee of any type, show whether you want it as an espresso, an espresso martini or just a regular American cup of coffee you're not gonna get it

Yelp
A remember eating at the Skydive about four years ago. The view was great, but the food was nothing special. My friend and I went there a few days ago. What a turnaround. My friend had the burger. She said it was excellent. I opted for the Faroe Salmon with potatoes and carrots. Out of this world. The salmon was delicious, moist and cooked just right. I am not a vegetable fan and usually order French fries instead of mashed potatoes. However, I am trying to watch my diet, so I went with the mashed potatoes. Both the potatoes and carrots were wonderful. My friend, when telling her daughter about our meal, said that my plate looked like it had been licked clean. View was great and the service excellent. A really enjoyable meal all around.

Yelp
This restaurant was excellent. The service, food, and ambience were all top tier! Only caveat is that they were out of steak at 7 pm on a Friday evening. However, the pasta I did order was delicious! So I will forgive the lack of steak.

Yelp
With Skydome, you have to accept that you are going to pay a premium for the beautiful panoramic rotating carousel view of the city. That was definitely a highlight as we were slowly rotating around while the sun set and we enjoyed cocktails and drinks. Our service was good - we had a large party and the staff was responsive. There were streaks on our silverware and a cocktail was served with a fly in it - so there could have been more attention to detail. They have a limited and pretty standard menu. A few notes - they do not offer coffee and their desserts are outsourced and require them Pre-heating them. The food was ok - nothing jumped out to us. Some of the cocktails were creative (including one with gold flakes). The restaurant fits about 80 or so people comfortably (estimated) with a small bar that is not on the rotating carousel. It's a little tricky to find as it is housed in the double tree and requires a separate elevator. It's a great view and cool experience - just know that is the biggest draw!

Yelp
This restaurant has a lot of potential but unfortunately missed the mark for me. It is located in the Double Tree Hotel. To get to the restaurant you have to walk through the hotel up an escalator and take two sets of elevators. The view was very nice in the evening. The restaurant was revolving slowly and we got different views throughout the night which was nice. Be careful if you get motion sick easily to take medication beforehand or try to focus on objects that aren't moving. I was extremely disappointed in the food and drink selection. The wine bottles listed were not in stock. Our party ordered multiple filet mignon's to be cooked ranging from rare to medium. The steaks were not cooked to those specifications and served to the wrong person at the table. We did ask to get new steaks cooked. Unfortunately the steaks still came out wrong. The other dishes were also subpar.

Yelp
let's start by saying my reservation was at 7:15pm and at 7:30pm we were still here waiting the manager came and she appeared to be high off a substance and very shady. We were told 15 minutes and then were told the party ordered dessert and they were told that a party was waiting and they needed to hurry. We then were offered a bottle of wine. Really It was now 7:50pm and we still had. It been seated only offered to go down stairs to the lobby and wait. Why would we do that After waiting almost an hour. I hope the food is as good as they say cause at this moment I am fuming They gets zero stars and they need to drug test all staff

Yelp
My colleagues and I decided to try the Skydome while we were on TDY in the DMV. It is definitely fun to dine and rotate. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. The hostess was extremely nice and recommended a very good cocktail. Our waiter was not very attentive. Thank goodness we were rotating and eventually rotated to him so we could order more drinks. The food was good. The classic hummus with lamb was very good. The grilled octopus was tasty and so was the grilled corn it was served on. I would recommend both. The kale salad was good but the salmon was over cooked and fishy. The menu is limited but enough.

Yelp
This rating comes with some reservation. Atmosphere at night with view was very relaxing along with the 360 rotation was a true site overlooking the nations capital. Food was at its best okay overall. Take away so truly enjoyed their truffle pizza , the street corn , along with the squid. The drinks were not really hitting for me which with a view like that should be standard. The service from door to dining was a 4.5 friendly respectful service with a smile.

Yelp
Such a cool spot with views of DC, the airport and pentagon. The deck moves actually a bit quicker than you'd expect. Apps and drinks were great, food could've been a bit fancier, but still good.
