Seasoned Vegan Chef Joins the Team at Tasting Menu Spot Farm Spirit | Eater Portland

"I'm following news that Slabtown will get a new food cart pod this spring: Slabtown Food Carts will open at the corner of NW 23rd and NW Roosevelt with four carts, though Edge Development is keeping most details under wraps until the big reveal." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Great sausage but the fries were amazing! Got the food really quickly as we went on am off hour. Atmosphere is what it is for the area but at least they had some tables. Would go there again!

The food here was amazing and more than worth the price! I wish so bad they were open for dinner but they don’t have enough people to make it happen😢 excellent burritos and steak

Burnsville cart has a real tasty burger for around 8 bucks. A bit much for a cart in a deeply industrial area, but tasty.

Google
Amazing food in what is a sad spot. Looks a little rundown around the carts, but the food is easily worth it

Yelp
Small, cozy lil food carts block in this neighborhood. Equipped with 8 food carts that you can choose from, depending on your cravings. There are multiple covered tables to sit at, as well as standing tables. This place does get a little crowded though depending on the day/time. Fur babies allowed as it is an outdoor area.

Yelp
Very basic little pod. The eating area is just a couple of wooden picnic tables on a deck -- but the deck is nicely constructed with a metal roof. Only three carts. The one I ate at serves pretty good gourmet dogs and sausages. The other two are for Mexican (plates and burritos, but no tacos) and teriyaki. Wait a minute, I hear you asking, what happened to the drinks cart? The fancy hamburger truck? Those are at Nob Hill Food Carts, a larger pod about 3 blocks south and a half-block west of this one. The person who uploaded those photos got the two pods confused.
