Great place to grab burgers, cheap booze, and see some awesome bands. Saw a trip of post punk / synth wave / goth acts and it was a really fun and intimate (meaning small and crowded!) atmosphere to catch a show. The food nor the drinks are particularly memorable, but it's really about the overall experience.

Holy heck what a cool spot. Great jukebox, really great vegetarian options, superb beer list. Went with a group and got to try the fried pickles, onion rings, the vegan wings, and the house veggie burger. Everything was incredible. My dining partners got to try the regular wings and burgers, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Will definitely drop in again!

We want to hear for a friend's birthday and I would have to give the food of score of just being okay. The waffles that I had didn't really have much flavor to it the amount of syrup they gave me was so little that the waffles just sucked it up and they were still dry. The chicken really didn't have too much flavor to it either all in all we did have a good time there with friends and the bottomless drinks is definitely a plus.

Places in DC can be deceiving, place doesn't look like much from outside, but inside, wow 😳 Straight out of the 80s 😆 If you like Rick n roll, this is the place for you. Slash, the owner, seemed like a really cool dude. Alexandra took really good care of us. The Sunday Funday brunch deal is awesome. $20 for all you can drink- 2 hour limit- and the Bloody's were the 💣

I’m giving this place an extra star for being one of the few punk rock, alternative spaces in the city. The one meal I had here was pretty disappointing. We sat outside under the string lights, which was nice. They were out of their normal buns, and as a result only had non-vegan buns. So they served me sausages in lettuce wraps. Yes, that was as appetizing as it sounds. The meal cost over $60 for two, but felt like it should have been valued at about half of that. If I were to go back, it would most likely be for an event or drinks because it truly is a cool spot.

Tasty burgers, great services and a cute tucked away location. I got the "I'll have what she's having" which was perfectly cooked with brusselsprouts. My friends also loved their burgers and the blood orange cider was yum

I got way more than I bargained for stumbling upon this place randomly and my craving for a hot dog and burger was definitely satisfied. The hotdog ended up being a massive foot long. The burger was cooked to perfection at my requested medium well. It melted in my mouth. The fries were great hot and after they had cooled later. I ordered Netflix and Chili on my burger and my dog. It was great!! I'm so glad I found them.

First off just want to start with I work in this industry so as far as customer service goes they were 5 star. I’m only leaving a review because I feel like I paid $30 for a burger that I had to take the bottom bun off cause it was soaked in grease. Then the wings only 2 out of 4 had the Cajun seasoning on them. The waffle fries didn’t even have so much as salt on them. I think they have the potential to be really good if maybe the cook put a little more love into the plates. Just saying it overall was not worth the price.

Great food, courteous staff, and often some great local and regional talent. Love this place.

I came to this place since I was craving a burger. This place has a good variety of meals. I like their slash burgers and tater tots. Would definitely come back to this place. Very chill and the people are helpful. They also have good beers!

I can't really think of any words other than interesting. We were guided here by some DC friends who touted them as having the best burger in the area. This might have been accurate, but I couldn't speak to that. We stopped in around 9pm after a Wizards game on a Sat evening. Apparently, they close indoor seating unless you've signed up to have your eardrums blasted out by music that is an acquired taste. So we sat outside. The staff was kind and wiped down a table that was wet from earlier rain. Since we weren't here for the "concert" we placed orders for drinks and food at the bar and went outside with instructions to return to the bar for pickup. Odd concept. The drink menu is impressive and my hubby did like his burger. The nachos were ok but lacking something to lighten them - fresh lettuce or tomatoes. The pineapples were a nice surprise with a little kick. A friend got the vegan wings which really threw me for a loop. They had a great texture and the sauce was really good. Overall, the place just left me feeling awkward.. and grimy. It might be a fun spot for some, but this was not my cup of tea. I'd possibly venture back during the day, but certainly wouldn't come again at night when they have a show going on.

My burger was DELICIOUS, but looked hastily thrown together with way too many onions and a tiny piece of lettuce. The onion rings were very oily and the serving size was huge. The house made ranch was delicious. Not sure I would go back.

The vibes were chaos. Very cool decor and awesome bands. It seems like they have issues with the sound. Great value for booze, not so much for food. The bartender was rude and weird about me paying in cash, and I asked a few friends I was with if they thought the bartender was mean and they agreed! They also were playing a movie with a lot of fully nude sex scenes. I'm no prude, but there are plenty of art films they could have played to set the tone that would not have made folks uncomfortable. I'd def go again for a show, though.

When I moved to the neighborhood last spring, I was so excited this place made vegan burgers. It's a cool local burger joint, and the food is solid. There are some complaints on here about the vegan options being outrageously expensive, which I can understand because it adds something like $8 to a burger (e.g. extra charge for Beyond Meat patty, extra for vegan cheese, extra for vegan bun). All that said, I was willing to pay it because I liked the place. Then I noticed the "jumbo" vegan wings on the menu. This is where things turn sour. They're priced at $16 for 6 wings!! (Compared to $6.50 for chicken wings.) Sure, you can argue that chicken wings probably are cheaper to buy than soy chicken, but the vegan wings are no different than what every other burger place serves, and NO one charges $16 for 6 wings. Even so, I wanted to try them--after all, they said "jumbo," so surely they were so big, it warranted a price hike. When they came out, I couldn't believe my eyes. They're just your average-sized vegan wings. To charge $16 and to go out of your way to call them jumbo is absolutely false advertising. Shame on this restaurant's owner for being so deceptive. Combined with how expensive the vegan burgers are, it's starting to feel like Slash Run serves vegan food out of spite and makes sure to add a huge vegan tax on top of everything. It's really too bad because there's no shortage of vegan burger joints in DC, and if Slash Run wants to be competitive, they'll figure out that you can get a really good vegan burger and wings for less than $35 anywhere else -- why would you bother paying all that vegan tax here?

Went here for their Tarot & cocktails night. The food was pretty good and the prices were reasonable. Also the reader was super nice. This place has a great vibe and I definitely want to go back when they host live music. Update: Came on a trivia night and a brunch movie day and both were super fun.

Cool neighborhood bar, but I don't live all that close so wouldn't come often. The food is very average - tots were from frozen, burgers were just ok, buns/toppings just ok, wings were probably the best thing we ordered but even then - just ok. Petit mort was the better of the two burgers, but the blue cheese overpowered any other flavors on there (and I love blue cheese). Bun was disappointing and the burger tasted like it wasn't seasoned. Slash supreme was ok. Buffalo sauce wings had good flavor (but they don't give you blue cheese or ranch with them? And there's no option to order a side online). Korean wings I would not get again.

Great burgers, great sides, great beer. And awesome entertainment. The ultimate "dive" bar. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed.

The slash burger on 7th st in Wash DC was just ok, the turkey burgers were very thin ( not a real meaty burger at all) & a bit salty we had Onion rings as well, which was salty also. The best thing this slash b location has going for it is the fried Brussel sprouts. & the service was respectful. We would hve appreciate health.ier drink options as well, everyone doesn't like soda * sugary drinks . Absolutely CAN'T recommend this location slash burger at ALL.

Ordered the Slash Supreme, the Waffle Fries, and the homemade ranch. Gotta say, not the best burger. The pretzel bun is fine, but the burger isn't well seasoned and was dry. Pickles were the only thing imparting any solid flavor, and they carried me through. Waffle fries were alright. Pretty soft, a few crisp ones. I didn't like the homemade ranch. All in all, two stars. Great name, great branding, but the food didn't pan out for delivery.

The absolute WORST restaurant experience I've ever had. I went last night and every employee was incredibly rude and either talked down to me or completely ignored me. I sat at the bar and tried to order a burger and was ignored for a half hour and all the people around me were served instead. I was the only woman in the building at the time so I wondered if that had something to do with it. Finally after my boyfriend repeatedly asked the employee behind the bar to take my order he begrudgingly did so. The entire situation had me on the verge of tears because I felt like I was being treated like I was invisible. At that point in the night, the restaurant and bar area was not at all crowded. Employees would see me trying to order and would look at me and then go in the back kitchen to eat. The employees all seemed drunk as well. One employee also leered at my friend and I while we tried to talk to each other which made us both very uncomfortable. Throughout the night a large group of my friends came to hang out there and we all decided that we would never return because all felt so uncomfortable. This place should just close because it's a nightmare.

This place provides a community for music and events that is so needed in DC. The space is awesome and the owner made the amazing choice to not add a ridiculous surcharge to the menu after feedback from customers. That is punk rock, just like the bar. I will always show up for great drinks and a truly amazing time I can't have anywhere else in DC.

Ok, so first time here, it was unusual but not in a bad way at all. First, it is a rock bar but dont let that keep you away. It is not just a bar Second, FOOd is the main reason I went. On Wednesdays they have Juciy Lucy's if you dont know it is a stuffed cheese burger. And it is one of the only places around that I found that sells them. I got that and was happy They also have a burger encrusted with ground coffee beans. The onion rings were great and I met the cook that made them (after being on the fence about ordering them and being assured by our server that I would not regret it, and I didn't). The atmosphere was very friendly as was the staff. It was not crowded when I arrived but by the time I left the amount of ppl had doubled I plan on returning

Been a few times for dinner and once for brunch and food's good, atmosphere is good (love the schlocky movies that have been playing while we were there) but the wait and bar staff are comically chaotic and will avoid diners at any chance they can get. Be prepared to speak up to get their attention because you aren't on their radar if not. It might work for some people, but with a menu that serves a $17 burger I'm hoping for a little better. Probably also best to stick to dinner- we went during brunch and paid for bottomless (which is quite reasonably priced) but they ran out of champagne before we ordered our first drink. When we asked for a substitution the bartender got sent out to tell us that there were no substitutions. There was also a shortage of bacon and chorizo and sausage. Fun brunch, gang If you go get the fried pickles!

This has been my favorite bar for years. Great beer selection, great burgers that they'll do Impossible, and super cool staff and atmosphere When you get here, ask for Jeff, he'll treat you right

Burgers are the thing here. This quintessential Petworth establishment bills itself as a "Hair Metal Rock n' Roll Burger Joint, Bar and Music Venue". I don't know about you, but that description is about as bohemian and Petworthy as it gets! There's a lot visually that hits me when I first walk in, but after my eyes adjust, I can get down to foodie business. My go-to burger is "le petit mort" that comes with mushrooms cooked in red wine, arugula and blue cheese however any of their burger offerings are above average. House cut or waffle fries are dependable. It's not perfection all the time, but has a decent track record for me. I've never stayed late or seen any of the performances. I do bring my family. Children are welcome in the restaurant (until 10 PM). Kids feel comfortable in the campy, crazy interior. My sassy Aunt Crystal turned her garage into a rumpus room that reminds me of this place. On Monday nights, burgers are half-price. I like the free-spirit atmosphere here. The juke box (3 plays for $1) offers tunes from the Hair Metal era (80's) as well as others; for example, Curtis Mayfield's Super Fly album (70's) is available for play. This spot is caught in an intentional time warp--but it's a fun one. We all need to take a leisurely trip to our past and reminisce.

In person, slash run has good food and great vibes but never order takeout from them. I've done it twice and both times they didn't include sauce for wings even though it's explicitly stated. Really frustrating and unacceptable

Ordered 50 minutes plus in advance. Came to pick up. Not ready. Told me it would be a few minutes . Slow service! Not worth the money. Like the dive atmosphere, but service is lacking.

This spot has truly craveable food. From the Slash Nuggs (little bits of fried chicken) and the waffle fries to the Fried Avocado and super creative burger menu, you really can't go wrong. Wings? Slash balls (think jalapeño poppers), and fried pickles are also delicious. All sandwiches can be ordered as a regular burger, chicken sandwich, or impossible burger. The "Ill Have What She's Having" is my favorite - it includes a sunny side egg, shaved Brussel sprouts, sriracha aioli on a pretzel bun. It's my absolute favorite burger (I get the impossible). They house make their ranch dressing, which is bomb. Beyond the great food, they also have a super wide and well curated selection of beer. If you don't want beer, you can snag cocktails, as well. They also host a wide array of bands (not during COVID, though) and are hosting virtual trivia (it's fun!) and virtual karaoke. Check their Facebook page for those events. The service is also great and the folks are very nice. It's an offbeat spot that's definitely worth checking out.

If you like a very chaotic but good restaurant, I would totally recommend Slashrun. I love eating here but the prices can be a bit high for what kind of food they serve, but it's like that basically everywhere in DC. They do have a lot of events that happen including Drag Trivia and small concerts for local Bands. The wait time can be quite long as the restaurant tends to have a crowd.

I have lived in DC for a number of years now, and I am shocked that I hadn't heard of Slash Run until recently. This quirky diner/bar has great music, reasonably priced drinks, a solid beer list, and a respectable whiskey selection. Not only that, but Slash Run has the best burger I have had in DC. I had the Barstool Rodeo Burger (minus the bacon), which came on a fluffy bun with two perfectly crispy onion rings resting atop a really juicy patty. And I went on a Monday, so it was half priced! I also tried some of their waffle fries which were just the right level of crispy. This place is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend

I love living right next to this place. It's a dive with non-divey food and beer. You can find an awesome selection of craft beer, mostly from the NE, and delicious food. I'd say this is in my top 5 for burgers in DC. (My favorite on their menu is the Morning Glory) There's also awesome beef and meat alternatives for those who are vegetarian. Brussel sprouts here are also my favorite and way too tempting to get every time. Slash Run also does live music events and movie events which make for another excuse for me to go. Staff is limited and so service can be slow but it's always friendly and service is actually great if you go on a weekday night. I love the half-off burger Mondays and around 9pm things here are pretty quiet so it's easy to grab a bite and brew. Must go.

Slash Run is an institution on Upshur street! We've eaten at the outdoor heated dining space several times this winter. Bundle up and go! Or order take away or delivery. They do food and drinks to go or you can eat outside. They have plastic walls and heaters which helps keep some of the heat in. The food is always good. I get the same thing every time (the 'I'll Have What She's Having' burger with a fried egg and brussels sprouts on top--to die for!) but my family and friends always change it up. Their portions of their sides are very generous!

Slash Run has some of the best burgers in the city. Unfortunately, due to their terrible customer service and extremely long wait times for food, I will not be partaking in these burgers anymore. The past few times I've ordered food to go as I don't feel comfortable eating indoors during a pandemic. I have learned to add an extra 20 minutes to pick up times, which, inconvenient, but worth it for the burgers. Tonight was a new low though. There were two men working. One made eye contact with me, looked me up and down and walked away. Five minutes later he came up to ask what I wanted. When I said I was picking up food to go, he told me it would be an additional 30 minutes. Then both workers just avoided eye contact with myself and the many other customers who were waiting for food. I didn't even have a chance to explain what name my order had been placed under, so how did they know the wait time? Long story short, I got home after waiting for about 45 minutes past my projected wait time and some of the rudest looks/attitude I've ever gotten. My burger was fine, but the fries soggy (likely due to the wait), and the whole experience just awful.

Ordered from them on Uber eats. Was super excited seeing how they had vegetarian options. Well the food was packaged and they only included two of my 8 items I had ordered. So I called and was rudely pushed off the phone when asking kindly if part of my order was maybe still at the restaurant and if so could I grab. The lady on the phone said no (I don't think she looked because she didn't even say "let me go look for you" or anything) then mentioned there's an event going on so I'll just have to reorder then hung up. I wasn't rude on the phone or anything I was just so confused. I had paid 70$ essentially for two orders of their wings. Never again.

Gross environs, questionable food (locals know to not look in the kitchen), and cheap house speakers that get turned up to the point of misery. Don't get me wrong, I love loud music and appreciate a great dive bar, but by many of the most important metrics (i.e. price of a PBR, a great sound system, intrinsic character) Slash Run is NOT a good dive bar. Far from it. The unfunny thing about it is, Slash Run THINKS they are a dive bar, but sorry, when your warm PBR is $6 (LOLLLL) and the rest of your beers are $8-10 (and also warm) you are just another bourgeoisie poseur letting all of your inadequacies fall on the coattails of "being a dive bar". The fallacy of what constitutes a dive bar is so convenient and perfect when the profit margins are fat while keeping expectations low. THIS is why Slash Run still exists, Yelpers. Avoid at all costs. Our smallish mediocre-to-just-bad burgers with cheese and a topping were $16 each. Dive bar my ass. Oh and I haven't even mentioned terrible, careless service to boot. There was one overconfident waitress who didn't give two schnitz about the 35 customers she was waiting on and would disappear for long drags (smoke breaks probably). BTW, bad service is also NOT a standard trait of some of the greatest dive bars in this nation. I must reiterate: the entire notion that a dive bar is supposed to be bad at everything is just wrong. It's the complete opposite. A great dive bar may be smoke-filled, have sticky floors, loud and profane music, but the speakers are typically club quality (with GD subwoofers - this is a must if you are a legitimate dive bar) and the service is observant and attentive - there may be a bit of 'tude built in, but the mechanics of their actual service is nimble and efficient, and almost always transcends the sum of its divey parts. Slash Run wins an award for Worst Onion Rings on the face of this Earth. Standard USFoods/Sysco rings dropped into what might have been maybe a 225*F fryer (like 100*F below proper temp) were absolutely inedible and DRIPPING with smelly oil. Waitress did not care to ask us once how our food or (warm) beers were. Our bill was $230+ for a party of 6 that didn't drink that much - we usually do. Yuck. Never doing that again.

Food was okay, but I ordered for delivery, and they straight up ignored my requests. No mayo, no tomatoes, etc. I like stuff how I like it. I paid $60 for an order for two people, and they didn't take the time to read what I asked for. Why would I ever order from there again? Wow. Just checked my girlfriend's veggie burger, and they just gave her a beef burger. Cool. Very dissatisfied. The details matter.

Stopped by with some family for take away. It took 45 min after ordering before they told us they were missing key ingredients. In all, it was about an hour wait to get a burger, chili, and chicken nuggets. Oh, and everything was insanely overpriced given the tiny portions. Definite skip.

Great beer, food, and service. The Nuggs are awesome and the burgers are consistently the best around. They kept me fed and hydrated during the pandemic. If you like beer as much as I do, look at their beer list and try not to go grab an Other Half, Triple Crossing, Maine Beer Company, Drekker, Aslin, Hermit Thrush...and so on. Live music, karaoke, half price burger nights, half off drafts for happy hour, movie showings, etc. Fantastic neighborhood amenity and destination. There's usually a diverse range of characters to talk to and the staff is fun and knowledgeable. It's one of those places where you think, "Should I go home or stop by Slash Run...I'll stop by Slash Run." And it's always the right decision.

We went to this place for dinner since we are staying in the area and were craving for some burgers. We got there during dinner rush so there were tons of people. The restaurant is small but quite classy/cute interior decor. Although the atmosphere was good, we were rather disappointed in the food. We tried the "I'll have what she has" and Slash burgers. The burger patties were good and the pretzel buns were a good idea. However, the buns got very chewy and both burgers were underseasoned for us. We also got French fries and waffle fries as sides as well as an order of onion rings... SO SO disappointed!! How can a burger place mess up fries!!?!? It was so bad we couldn't even finish them, very soggy yet oily at the same time. Overall, although the burgers were good, I couldn't justify the pricy prices that we paid for two burgers and bad fries.

"I'll have what she's having" with a veggie patty lived up to/exceeded expectations. Margarita was more than decent as well, for a burger joint. Everything I would want from a slightly out of the way, burger, beer bar. Will return (probably a lot) and go for meat the next time.

Killer menu, both food and drinks! Lots and lots of ciders and meads and beers I don't commonly see elsewhere. Super comfy neighborhood place with an "All Are Welcome" vibe that absolutely can not be beat. The burgers are really tasty. They offer a heavy handful of Vegan and Veggie options (including those Veenies from the Columbia Heights Farmer's Market!) The waffle fries are tasty too! The staff is laid back and relaxed. Trivia night is a total blast. Otherwise there is always something happening... good music, fun older movies, etc.

This is easily the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. It all started when I asked my daughter if she wanted to go out to dinner with me and she said yes. What did she want to eat, I asked? Burgers. Okay, so I go to the internet and find Slash Run. According to the website, they're supposed to have great food (wonderful) and a rock and roll theme (neat). Perfect for a cool kid. I booked a reservation and thus began our descent. Here's how it went down: My daughter and I arrive at 6:15 to find the door locked. There's a doorbell so we ring it, then ring again, then ring again before someone finally comes to the door to ask what we want. What do we want? Like, is it a code? Am I supposed to say that "Jim sent us"? We are there to eat and I tell him so. Apparently this isn't the right answer, because he closes the door, locks it, and disappears. On the street behind us, a few kids on dirt bikes tear past, popping wheelies and yelling profanities. My daughter and I look at each other. Maybe these people weren't prepared for the eventuality that someone might show up who wanted to eat? (Actually, more on that later). Anyway, the guy comes back and shows us to our table. Shortly after, a server comes to give us our menus and to inform us that we have one hour to eat before they take their table back. (Welcome to Slash Run. We hate you.) Now, I have some dietary restrictions (apparently this is my body's reaction to getting older and it sucks). I can't do gluten or dairy. No problem, they have gluten-free buns on their menu and a burger without cheese is still a good burger. I had let them know about my restrictions when I made the reservation and just to be sure they had made a note (they hadn't) I told our server. "Oh, we're out of gluten-free buns for the night." At 6:30, I think to myself? You're out of something for the night at 6:30? Okay, that's not going to ruin my night with my daughter. I ask which of their burger/topping combos would be good without a bun or dairy and my server helpfully points out probably the two most dairy-intensive options on the menu. Now, I have no problem with someone giving me a good-natured hard time, but this isn't that. This is just carelessness. (That or maybe it's not clear that cheese is dairy?) Anyway, I order a less-dairy-centric burger and ask to hold the cheese. Out on the street, the guys with the wheelies and profanities are back for their encore performance. As we wait for our food, my daughter and I play a game where we watch people come to the door, try to open it and realize it's locked. Will they give up and go away? Will the figure out that they have to ring the bell? If the ring the bell? How many times will they have to ring it? How long will it take before someone shows up? At 10, my daughter is too young for drinking games, but this would be a good one. Anyway, 10-15 minutes later, our food arrives: My daughter's hamburger, our fries, and my cheeseburger. Yes. My cheeseburger. As in, a burger with cheese. Okay, that's not going to ruin my night with my daughter. I point out the fact that there is cheese on my burger and I'm promised that another burger will be out shortly for me, sans cheese. Great! Go ahead and eat, my daughter, don't let your food get cold. It's a good thing my daughter ate her burger. A few minutes later, the table next to us orders. 10-15 minutes later, they get their food. A few more people come, I think they're food-delivery people. They try the door, they ring the bell, they wait (and wait), they get a bag of food, they leave. 30 minutes go by, the table next to us is finished eating. More food has come out, but not my burger. My daughter reports that she doesn't think this is the best burger in DC: "I don't think this is even the best burger on this block." I wouldn't know at this point, but I trust her. I've also eaten most of her fries. My burger is about to come out, I'm told. 45 minutes. We are now dangerously close to the time when they are supposed to be reclaiming their table from us. Do we get an extension because I haven't gotten my food yet? Maybe we can have a few extra minutes because there are still empty tables? Either way, my daughter is full and we're getting to the point where the crappy speaker blaring rock at us is losing it's charm. I ask for the check. But my burger will be out soon, I'm told. Wouldn't I prefer to just wait? Very few burger joints take the time to hand-raise their cows from birth when you order your burger. They don't take the time to rear the young calf and nurture it into a fully grown cow. Sure it takes a few years, but these days the farm-to-table concept demands such dedication. All that being said, I clearly don't appreciate the farm-to-table movement, because I said I didn't want to wait for my burger. Nor did I want it wrapped up so that I could take it with me and eat it cold when I got home. We got our bill, I paid it, and we left. 0/5 stars. Would not recommend.

We were really excited to try this place because the reviews were really good. High disappointed in the food. The reviews were so good on Yelp, when our food came out we felt like we missed something. We both ordered wings and a burger. When I opened up my single container of blue cheese I noticed crusty, dried blue cheese on top of the lid and on the side of the container, like it had been left out for a period of time. It turned my stomach immediately. The wings were flavorless and honestly tasted old and refried. The burgers were also flavorless and overcooked. The whole meal was....room temperature, nothing tasted fresh nor was it hot. It was completely unappetizing. On top of that, half way into eating my burger I found a bug in the aioli of the sandwich. I lost my appetite. It's sucks because the staff seems really nice but the food wasn't good, especially for the price.

I have had many burgers in my life but Slash Run has the most delicious burger I have ever had. And I do not say that lightly. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant is a bit of a drive for me in Northern Virginia but I went there to see a friend's band (The Nuclears...maybe you have heard of them?). If you are going there for an event, I definitely recommend earplugs. It is a very small place so the sound will be deafening. Gender neutral bathrooms for the win!

Recently moved to the neighborhood and checked out Slash Run for happy hour. The staff were really inviting and the restaurant provides the perfect rock dive bar vibe. They have indoor and outdoor seating, so there are options for your comfort level. The burgers were well sourced and delicious. Drink selection is extensive without being overbearing. Service was a tad slow but it's still a pandemic. I absolutely plan on going again!

I have been going to Slash Run for years. They execute everything they promise very well: Beer, burgers, and rock&roll. Their events - live music, drag shows, flea markets, etc are all wonderful. I hope Slash Run remains a neighborhood staple for tatted weirdos for many years to come.

This is place has some amazing burgers and appetizers. The staff is super nice and laid back. They're quick with the food and drinks. They have a great list of beers and ciders of all kind. If you're look for a chill happy hour spot during the week I highly recommend this place.

I would highly recommend Slash Run to everyone. Wonderful ambiance, clean and good service. If you don't know what to order, go with Morning Glory Burger, it is just yummy. From the start, everybody has been so incredibly friendly. Would really like to go back soon!

These guys do burgers RIGHT. The South of the Burger is awesome but my go to is Le Petit Mort. Genuinely one of my favorite burgers I've had anywhere. Fries are solid too and they have some really tasty ranch. Big recommend

Really, really want to give this place a higher rating -- the service is great, the divey interior awesome, the beer list interesting, and menu items innovative! HOWEVER: if you're a vegetarian, be warned that the patty is one of those gross frozen amalgamation-of-bad-vegetable patties (you know what I'm talkin' about), instead of a proper veggie burger. I got the Otto's Shrunken Head Burger with a Veggie Patty, which I was super hyped up for (it comes with Korean BBQ Sauce, Avocado, Pineapple Relish (I swapped the Pork Rinds for Tortilla Chips))... but the gross, lukewarm patty ruined it for me. Would def come back here and hang, but would probably just stick to drinks. Slash Run: pleaaaaaase make your own veggie patties (it's not hard!) or stop using the, like, industry standard from 1999, so I can try one of your killer burgers without feeling ill/grossed out~ (also oops if you *do* make your own veg patties, Slash Run, I am sorry but they are not good...)
