New brunches in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"For a bacon-forward weekend I went to Slater’s 50/50 for their Wake N’Bacon brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with bottomless mimosas for $20. Highlights include a pork belly Benedict with crispy seared pork belly and poached eggs with chipotle Hollandaise on buttermilk biscuits served with tater tot country potatoes; a breakfast flatbread topped with mozzarella, egg whites, arugula, and cherry tomatoes; fried chicken and bacon pancakes — two bacon-studded pancakes topped with fried chicken, gravy, and a sunny-side-up egg; and a 50/50 omelet stuffed with the classic or spicy 50/50 blend, avocado, cheddar cheese, and pico de gallo, served with tater tot country potatoes." - Susan Stapleton

Casual Thanksgiving Dishes in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"I noted the Thanksgiving burger features a turkey patty piled high with brioche stuffing, turkey gravy, house-made cranberry sauce, and garlic and sage aioli on a honey wheat bun; it's available for $14.99 through Nov. 30." - Susan Stapleton

Jonathan was our server and he was absolutely attentive. He checked on our table about 4 times. Even recommended items. Me and my boyfriend had burgers and flights. Everything was bomb. They also had every game playing which was nice. Really want to go back for a shake I was so full to get dessert. But 10/10

Stopped in for a burger and shake and honestly wasn’t expecting much, but wow—this place blew me away. The burger was juicy and packed with flavor, every bite better than the last. Then I tried the s’mores shake and it was thick, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet to hit that craving! You can tell they put care into what they serve. Garlic fires were delicious!! Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to whenever I’m craving a real burger and shake combo. Shoutout to our server Randell thanks for taking care of us appreciate the love in the shake!

Google
I got this at their food truck so I can't speak for the restaurant proper. My burger was thick and juicy with fresh veggies and soft bun. The flavors came together well. The fries were pretty average but good.

My bf and I like coming to eat here before going to the movies! We went in and sat at the bar top where Josh served us. He was super friendly and great at making sure we had a good time. We ordered the all you can eat wings for $30-35 per person. We tried the Thai Sriracha (sweet&spicy), Nashville Hot (dry rub), and Maple Bourbon Bacon (tastes like chicken and waffles)!! They serve a lot on the first plate so come with an appetite!

Google
We went into Slaters (second time - first experience mid) looking for happy hour based on the sign, and Rachel immediately greeted us and explained the happy hour menu. It is limited, just be aware. However, we needed to get to our movie, and she offered to have us sit right near the front so she could serve us herself. We did, and she was extremely efficient and attentive. Our food took a bit to cone out from the kitchen (fries and sausages) and she checked on us three times, finally notifying the kitchen that we were trying to catch a flick. When it came, food was good. Excellent service, and redeemed our previous experience. All staff were friendly as well.

Google
Popped in before my movie for a quick bite. Typical sports bar. On this particular visit there was a small mix up in who I was being served by. In the end the barman checked on my order and served my “backyard classic” burger. Patty done medium and the brioche bun was warm and sweet. Perfectly good burger before the show!

I found this place completely by accident back in August 2025. I saw their banner advertising $3 beers and I was blown away. I went inside and spoke to the bartender and was informed that they had $3 select 16oz beers...Coors Light, Miller Lite, and Michelob Ultra. They also have $3 well mixed drinks. Actually the day I found this place, I had a conversation with a friend about the poor state of bars and restaurants in our area. I lamented that most places seemed to be charging WAY TOO MUCH for certain beers. If you charge $6 or $7 for a 12oz Bud Light, that's INSANE! So when I saw Slaters 50/50's $3 beers, I was overjoyed. Cut to yesterday, we came in for my son's 21st birthday to drink and watch some football. We ordered a bunch of $3 16oz Michelob Ultras, and guess what...when they arrived, they were poured into some fancy Stella Artois 14cl glasses. Problem is, I'm not dumb. I knew this wasn't a 16 oz glass...I did a little digging and found out that these 14cl glasses are actually 13.5 ozs, so we're getting 2.5 less ozs on each beer. And you may say, "Hey, it's $3.00!" And that's all well and good, but when I pay for a 16oz beer, I expect a 16oz beer. If you're going to market a 16oz beer and you give me a 13.5oz beer, that's false advertising and it's dishonest. I had hoped to really enjoy this place and recommend it to people, but if this is the sort of game they're going to play with their customers, I don't want any part of it. We ordered some burgers and fries as well. And the strangest thing was done to our burgers. The cook shoved a steak knife into the top of the bun. So when you took a bite, the ketchup and mustard that were underneath came shooting out of the hole the knife created. So lesson here is don't shove a knife in the top of the bun...don't do that. Another thing about this particular Sunday, when we first walked into the bar, they had a DJ who was playing his music at a ridiculous high volume...ABSOLUTELY EAR SHATTERING LEVELS!!! If you are playing your music that loud, people can't hear each other when trying to talk to one another. We just really want to watch football and have a good time, not bleed from the ears.

Jaiya P.

Google
This is horrible. Someone at my table ordered an orange juice and it was so sour and you could tell it was old. We ordered lemonade instead and the waiter never brought it to us. I ordered boneless wings and they came back bone in. There is barley anyone here and there are many dirty tables with half drunken water cups. Most of the people that were actually here were at the bar. The waiter wasn’t really friendly and she had an attitude the whole time she served us. The music is super loud for no reason and cutting out a lot. The only thing available on the kids menu were the miny sliders and chicken tenders. Other items the waiter said were unavailable were not crossed out on the menu. Do not recomend, would not eat here again.

Sirelis P.

Yelp
This was my second time here and Mona was so sweet to us and brought out our food so fast :) We got the bacon burger and the imax burger and both of them were extremely savory and sweet. We'll 100% be coming back.

Yelp
Dined here for my twins birthday dinner and food and service was stellar. Our server TY was exceptional!

Marissa M.

Yelp
My dad had been waiting to try this burger for years, and even with then build up the 50/50 burger was delicious! Surprisingly not too bacon-y. Our waiter Ty was awesome too!

Yelp
I'm at Slater's 50/50 in the Del Amo Mall right now, and I HAVE to give this place its flowers. I've eaten here a couple of times, but today I finally tried the All-You-Can-Eat Wings for $19.99... and wow. Easily some of the BEST wings I've ever had -- perfectly seasoned, crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can't beat the value. I brought my family with me this time, and everything from the food to the service was on point. Staff is super friendly, fast, and on top of everything. You can tell they actually care about giving you a good experience. My family loved it here just as much as I do. Great food. Great service. Great vibe. Slater's 50/50 in Torrance is officially one of our go-to spots now. If you're in the area, don't sleep on those wings!

Yelp
I was such a fan of the San Diego place, but this location just doesn't hold a shadow to the OG location. I have been here 2-3 times now, and frankly it remains the same experience. The service is usually meh at best, and the food just isn't as delicious as I remember. Mind you, I would go after a few drinks, and the Torrance location would've with family before/after a movie. I can't put my finger on my experience, but I don't desire to come here anymore.

Yelp
I have been very disappointed for my last two orders at the Slater 50/50 in Torrance. Each order I had to reorder an Impossible burger because the first one had beef instead of Impossible meat. I called to see what could be done and they never answer the phone. I didn't want to have to place two orders but I did so my child would not be have a burger like the rest of the family. This happened twice and it is really disappointing to not be able to speak with someone at the restaurant. The food is alway good when they get the order right.....

Yelp
What a wonderful cute lil place, you may get confused finding it, it's right on top of lazy dog and Outback Steakhouse When we arrived the place was empty, folks started coming in slight after that. The environment reminds you definitely of a sports bar, but it was super cool. They played a mix and pop and R&B. The food was good, they had an all you can eat wing specials for 19.99, but we were not up for the challenge. We order Brussel sprouts, 12 piece wings, a smash burger and chili cheese fries. The hubster had a beer, a drink called midnight oasis, I on the other hand had a Toyoko Ice tea, and a long island ice tea . Our serve Kia was amazing, she did not miss a beat, she consistently checked on us and provided service with a smile. She was actually working alone for a bit, but the pressure did not get to her. She was cool. I would come back here, and I highly recommend it

Yelp
Decided to try this place out prior to seeing a movie at the AMC theater. It was open seating. Seated ourselves at a table overseeing the main street of the Del Amo Mall. The time was 4pmsh and it was happy hour. Not sure if Happy hour is all day .. but just assumed happy hour before 5pm lol. Was not not crowded at this time. Our server and bartender was named Anthony. He was really nice. He asked us what we wanted to drink. I ordered a Miller lite and my wife order some type of cocktail. He came back with our drinks and they were absolutley refreshing! He asked us what we wanted to eat. I ordered a 50/50 slater burger and my wife ordered a PBJ burger (Peanut butter Jelly). We took a bite and we were not dissapointed! The PBJ burger was a taste like no other! Actually my first time ever. It a actually was delicious. Overall, stayed here for almost 2 hours. Mike the bartender was absolutely a cool dude, we socialized for 15 minutes. He came to our table to talk. He is from Long Beach. Kudos to him for a great experience at Slater 50/50. This place absolutely rocks! The meals and drinks were affordable. The ambiance felt warm and comfortable. If you are in the area, dont sleep on this place. It has good food and good people. Try out a peanut butter jelly hamburger for the first time in your life! You won't regret it. Thumbs up to this establishment.

Yelp
Service was excellent at lunch. Very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and open. The BBB Burger was good. Very delicious and well-made. Great place to grab a bite to eat alone or with company.

Yelp
We walked into a pretty empty restaurant. We hoped to have great service and to have our food prepared quickly. But it was actually the complete opposite. We ordered a few items off the menu which took about 30 minutes to get, waters took about twenty. Getting our check took awhile as well. The wings I ordered were mediocre. Although they were all you can eat, I didn't ask for more to be brought out. I am not sure I would return to this location, as the service wasn't what I was expecting, nor the food.

Yelp
I went to skaters 50/50 right before a movie and my server jen was the sweetest Josh attentive server I've been Dave's by in a long time! I got the bacon flight which was my fav and some sangria! Also a modified 50/40 burger cause that's what they're known for! I'll be back anytime I have extra time for a movie! And be sore to ask for Jen! :-)

Yelp
Jen was our awesome server! The group concluded that the Lonestar smoke and the IMAX were the best! The gold one was meh. Place is super cool .

Yelp
Love the staff/food and the PACKER fans!! Good vibes, helpful staff. Gonna make my way down the entire menu.

Yelp
Came by on a Friday night and there was plenty of tables open. The service was great! They have plenty of TVs on so you can watch games. You will be able to see a TV from anywhere (other than outside). Now the food, the burger was 10/10. The meat was well cooked! But my fries :( my fries were cold by the time it arrived at my table. I had high hopes for the fries. I would return for the burger though.

Yelp
As often as I come through to watch a movie next door, I never really took an interest in coming here. But GodKid and her husband mentioned they've been and said they liked it. So Hubbers, Mom and I decided to check it out and do some shopping after. Made reservations for three but decided to come through about 30 minutes before our reservation slot. (We were hungry!) Since it's within opening hour, we got our choice where to sit. We shared the Slater's Vampire dip which we all liked. The crispy pita chips were so good and went well with the dip. Veggies were fresh and good palate cleansers. I went for the smash burger (no cheese) with a side of chili cheese fries. The chili was under seasoned. So with the burger patties. There was no salt or pepper on the tables and Mona was manning the whole floor so I didn't want to bother her. It wasn't horrible, but it could be better. FOOD: 3. SERVICE: 4. Mona's service came with a friendly smile. VALUE: 3.5. PARKING: Located at Del Amo mall. There are parking structures and a big lot across the street. OVERALL: 3.5. Pretty much a hit and miss: Mom and Hubbers' grubs were hits, mine is the miss. The one thing they do provide, however, is quantity. It is plenty of food! I'd still come back. Their HH promo looks enticing. Will update as needed.

Yelp
We love this place the food is always amazing. I got the high brow burger, the bacon Mac and cheese balls and my husband got the bacon cheese burger. Our server Randall was very friendly and accommodating. Lots of huge TVs as well we love it.

Yelp
The food came out really quick service was amazing and you can't forget about the strawberry shake at the end... That boy Ty made our experience that much better with how attentive he was. Burger was cooked to my liking and the fried pickles hit the spot! Well def be back

Yelp
Josh was a great host, server and bartender. It was our first time at 50/50. The wings, onion rings and jalepeno poppers were delish!!!!! Restrooms were clean. Establishment is clean. Staff was clean. Drinks were thumbs up!!! We would definitely come back for Josh's great service

Yelp
Ambiance: it's located on the second floor and right outside the movie theater, plenty indoor and outdoor seating, with full bar service Service: friendly but a bit rushed, had to place the order right away Food & Drink: standard bar food, with few store specialities 24K Gold Burger - *** Half pound of Australian Wagyu beef, trufile cheese, roasted garlic aloli, bacon jam, arugula, gold-dusted candied billionaire bacon on a gold-dusted brioche bun, flavor was good, however, overcooked beef patty, asked for medium, but it ended up with above medium-well and almost well done Onion Rings - *** very thick batter breaking Diet Coke - *** watery taste Price: moderate portions and mediocre quality, expect $25+ per person
google avatar

Yelp
This milkshake was the sweet treat we needed. Ty is an excellent waiter and well knowledgeable.
google avatar

Yelp
Live this place only been twice. If your looking for one hell of a shake they have it. My burger was just okay because the turkey burger is a pre-made patty. The ambiance is loud and cracking, if you want a liw key place this isn't it.

Yelp
If I were a secret shopper, my approach would be to start the store with a score of 100pts. If the final evaluation resulted in less than 100pts, it would be because of demerits, based on my experience and observations. If I were to detail each thing I observed, it would seem as though I was picking nits; but there were a lot of small things that really added up to a sub-optimal visit. I am familiar with Slater's 50/50 menu. On this visit, I ordered a Slaters 50/50 burger, onion rings and pint of beer. With gratuity, my cc receipt was $35.00. The food met expectations. When you are spending that much for a single meal, it's not just about the food. You're paying for the "dine in" aspect of the meal. When you consider how many eateries are competing for my consumer dollars, I don't think Slater's is top of mind for future consideration. Footnote: You may notice my original post is dated Mar-16-25. A manager responded Mar-17-25. I replied via DM the same day that I was willing to share the observations which resulted in my review. I have not heard back since (today is Apr-15-25). I wonder: Is this manager too busy to follow up (or) knowing their response is viewable to the public, was their response performative (meant to give the impression that they were concerned, while intending to do nothing)?

Yelp
Went here with a buddy and it was a pleasant experience. Our server Jen was sweet. The food was good and it was a large portion. I was satisfied.

Yelp
Review #839 2025-011 Food Order: Original 50/50 Burger (50/50 beef & bacon blend, pepperjack cheese, avocado, over easy egg, chipotle mayo, brioche bun) with French Fries, Chili Cheese Fries I first enjoyed a sample of Slater's 50/50 at 2017's Time Out L.A. Battle of the Burger. Oh, what a battle it was! Their concept is dedicated to burgers, bacon (incorporating 50% bacon & 50% beef in their patties), & beer... it's no wonder the gastro-pub has a huge following. Founded in 2009, Scott Slater, a S. CA native, was inspired by the belief that bacon is meat candy... creating the "original 50/50 patty" = 50% ground bacon + 50% ground beef. Most locations were located many miles N or NE, so I was happy to see their 09/2023 announcement to take over Johnny Rockets on the upper level by AMC Theatres at Del Amo Fashion Center. Although the dining room appears spacious, the back-to-back tables are a tad too close & you may bump your neighbor when squeezing into the inner seat. I haven't dined in yet; I occasionally ordered from Slater's 50/50 for our office's weekly 3xTs (Thursday Takeout Treats): Original 50/50 Burger with Fries, particularly for the chili kick from the chipotle mayo & pepperjack cheese. Fries are slightly soggy from condensation on the drive back, but I usually have a few crisp pieces before getting into my car. The Chili Cheese Fries is not recommended. There's something off-putting with the liquid cheese & chili. I like "real" shredded cheese either cheddar or American that organically melts from the temperature of the fries & chili, not this liquified stuff. Yuck! The chili was kinda sweet, BBQ flavor. I like a hearty, savory chili, & this wasn't it. The menu is pretty extensive with starters, wings, flatbreads, burgers, salads, specials (i.e. hot dogs), loaded fries, sides, milkshakes, & soft drinks. There's a 50 Alarm Burger that's so hot that a waiver is required. What's hot? Ghost chili powder, ghost chile jack cheese, grilled jalapeños, spicy fried peppers, & habañero-bacon spread. Yikes! I'm at the life stage where I can no longer handle that much chili heat. Service during lunch rush has been iffy. My order has always been ready upon my arrival, & I'm usually on the dot. Sometimes I think it's been prepared early so my burger is lukewarm or cool by the time I get back to the office. Not once was there someone at the host(ess) stand, so I'm often left waiting before I can collect my order unless it's sitting at the table. When my bag's there, I'm tempted to grab & go instead of waiting for a server to clear me. There were times when I was called into a meeting after placing my order via Local by Toast app, & I would try to delay the pick-up/cook time by calling but no one picks up the phone. What's worse is you can't make changes on the app even though the original pick-up is more than 30-mins. \(`0´)/ Recommended: Original 50/50 Burger & Fries.

Yelp
Food was decent but the service was impeccable. Fresh food, okay cocktails, attentive server (Ty), extensive menu, bar-like ambiance. Found a chill corner and enjoyed Friday night dinner with my family. Daughter gave her milkshake a 10/10!

Yelp
Happy Hour can't be beat! But besides that, the best service! Super friendly bartender! And the person who brought our food. Delish food! Tater tots came w a cheese sauce that was delish! Love the inside. Nice and open windows everywhere. Perfect for day drinking. Lol.

Yelp
Came to Slater's before a movie and the experience was great! The service here is wonderful, Ty helped us and made sure we had a fantastic visit! The food came out fast and was delicious I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
First time here and all I can say everything was great! Our server Randall was great, he was friendly and made sure we got attended to in a timely manner. Food was amazing, got the smash burger and it was delicious! They have a great selection for happy hour as well. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
My family and I went to Slater's 50/50 in Torrance on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was nearly empty, with maybe five tables in use. There was no host, and the bartender simply told us to sit anywhere we liked. We waited about 10 minutes before a waiter finally came over and he looked filthy, as if he had just been cleaning. He introduced himself and said he'd be back, but after another three minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and gave off a bad vibe from the start, so we chose to eat at a neighboring restaurant instead.
google avatar

Enrique M.

Yelp
We had a great experience here. Our Server Kia (I hope that's how her name is spelled) had great customer service. The food was fantastic! I had a smash burger (could be more smashed) but easily a great burger. Highly recommend the ballpark fries. The beers on tap were on point. The strawberry cheesecake shake and the birthday cake shake were out of this world! I've never seen a full cheesecake on top of a shake. The chicken wings were spectacular and over all just a fun time eating and drinking with friends with the dodgers game playing right above our table. Can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Connor L.

Yelp
Our server Randall was a great help! Dinner here was quite delicious, we all ordered either the 50/50 original or the farmhouse. Huge and generous portions. Would come back again!

Yelp
Best happy hour in the 90501 Their burgers are delicious and come at a cheap price during happy hour which is all day currently. They have mimosas for $3.99. Shots of wells for $3!

Yelp
Got the Backyard Classic Burger to go. Good quality ingredients. Should have requested mayonnaise on the burger. Needed more beef flavor for a 5.

Griselle C.

Yelp
We stopped by for lunch today and we had the best experience because of our server Sam! She was attentive, sweet, helpful, and overall amazing! She deserves so much recognition for her amazing customer service!
google avatar

Yelp
We've been here 3 times now. Great place to watch the game. Service is quick and the drinks are a great price. It's located outside the Del Amo mall next to the theater so parking isn't an issue. The restaurant itself is pretty large, its self-seating with plenty of places to choose from. Randall was our server and he was fantastic, very attentive and quick to follow up with any drink/food orders. We recommend the wings. Specifically the buffalo garlic, they're HUGE. Nachos were good but we should've added the guac and sour cream. The Mac and cheese balls were also very good, pretty large and the ranch dipping sauce paired really well. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
HAPPY HOUR every day from 3pm-6pm $3 wines & beers ! I grabbed 2 drinks and got a little buzzed before my movie at the AMC theatres next door for $6 bucks!

Yelp
Our server Jen was amazing, we got the vampire dip, Brussels sprouts, pb & jellousy and King luau. My favorite item was the vampire dip.

Yelp
Fire wings & good burgers .. & thanks to JEN she took good care of us today will be back soon

Yelp
If you are a bacon lover this is definitely a place to come and try. Right in the middle of the del amo outdoor area, next to the theater and multiple other restaurants. This one definitely does its job by standing out. Mixing bacon into their beef and even having bacon ketchup. Multiple option of beer on tap, and serval televisions to watch your game. I was served by Breanna who was helpful. As a first time customer I didn't know what to order and was thinking about the best damn bacon cheese burger. It did not disappoint, I definitely enjoyed it. Thank you for your service and recommendations!

Yelp
Picked up lunch on August 6. The waitress was very dismissive, simply pointed me to the pick up spot. The restaurant wasn't very busy so after waiting awhile, I assumed I should just get the food myself and reached over. She immediately came over and berated me in front of another customer. I should have left the food there and gotten a refund, but I was with my baby and he was getting sleepy so I just quickly left. I sent an email twice explaining the situation and requested follow up from a manager. I had previously enjoyed this spot and wanted this addressed. But... crickets. I won't be returning, it's really gone downhill. To your response Anthony, I did reach out directly from the website explaining in detail the experience, not once but twice and provided my number requesting follow up - it was ignored.

Yelp
Wow, what AMAZING white glove service we had with Ty!! He's a true ambassador of the Slater's brand and an exceptional asset to the organization. My wife and I are for sure coming back here again soon. Great food and an overall positive experience!!

Yelp
I have been wanting to come to Slaters for a long time but had always decided against it because their prices are extremely expensive. I decided to finally check them out & I must say the food was really good. The bacon burger which was really delicious. The beef was high quality & had great flavor. The fries were crispy not greasy & not overcooked, just perfect. While their prices are higher then other burger operations it was worth the higher price. I will definitely comeback..

Yelp
The hubby craving burgers as for myself I'm always sold on Frickles anyone else with me.? After running errands I took the hubby out for a burger and burger it was. We werenthe first eager beavers to enter the establishment. Jj what a cool cat he was an awesome server, bartender, greeter you name it he wore many hats this morning. Service was outstanding. Jk consistently refills drinks when low. There was no need to ask for anything as he provided everything before even thinking about asking. The atmosphere was relaxing the patrons have yet to fill the spaces and thier day is just beginning. A huge shout out to Chef Romero who made the hubby's creation and came out eye shocking. Parking is right next to circus vargas. Free parking. The business is location upstairs. They no longer serserve mac n cheese balls. A little disappointed as those were big hits.

Yelp
The burger here is pretty good. Garlic parm fries are the way to go here. They also have an amazing happy hour too. Not to mention Tray is an amazing server and bartender. I'd give her for 5 stars for her amazing service and for lookout for everyone at the restaurant

Yelp
We never received our food and was never checked on. We canceled our order and just left. We will never come back. The manager responded to my review using ChatGPT and didn't even change the wording he was suppose. Just say you didn't care about our experience and I would respect you more.
