Sleepy Hollow Inn

We got married here! And I cannot imagine a better wedding venue for what we were looking for. Truly unbeatable, and the venue of our dreams. We spent about 1 day looking at wedding venues online, stumbled upon Sleepy Hollow, and never considered another alternative. Best decision of our lives. It has every feature you could want from a rustic VT venue, all in one place - normally you’d pay twice as much for just 1 of these features. From the round barn, to the outdoor pavilion, to the gazebo by the pond, to the inn for a few guests and the bride and groom to stay at, everything was gorgeous, scenic, and completely cohesive in terms of woodsy Vermont vibe & tone. And that’s not to mention the massive opportunity that this venue presents to have so many of your friends and loved ones stay on site as campers - creating a lovely hangout, outdoorsy, party vibe for every day you’re there. Having the energy of our wedding truly begin on the Friday before the day, excitedly greeting guests as they arrived throughout the afternoon, and getting to spend the whole evening hanging out with them in a much more casual, laid back campfire setting was the best way to move into Saturday. It was great to have so much leeway to be able to craft the event ourselves, and make it fully unique to us. It’s a venue that likely requires more planning from the bride & groom than another venue with full packages or a larger staff might have, and you should know that going in. But I think that’s one of the great advantages and beauties of Sleepy Hollow - the opportunity to bring your personality into it every step of the way, and also lean into the natural beauty of the site. The staff here are out of this world nice - huge shoutout to Emma and Cooper. They were so friendly and communicative every step of the way, and once we were on site made us feel completely at home. Right down to having pancakes and french toast made for us and the inn guests in the mornings - so special to have a home-cooked meal on the day of your wedding. The biggest compliment I can give is that when the sun rose on Sunday, even though we were completely exhausted, we immediately wanted to do it all over again just to experience another weekend staying at Sleepy Hollow.

A friend and I wanted to learn Nordic skiing and we had heard great things about Sleepy Hollow. We signed up for a lesson with Aidan, who also helped us get set up with rentals. Every bit of the experience was awesome! Trails were nicely groomed, the property is really pretty, and the lesson was excellent. Aidan coached us from the basics and got us up and moving quickly. The progressions were spot on to keep us engaged and challenged while also having success. We had lots of fun working with Aidan and were able to continue enjoying the skiing after our lesson was done. Sleepy Hollow is a great find and we will be back to explore more. We absolutely loved having our wedding at Sleepy Hollow Inn in Huntington, VT! This venue is uniquely Vermont and perfect for a wedding in any season. It offered everything we dreamed of—stunning views, versatile spaces, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that made our weekend unforgettable. One of our favorite aspects was that our closest family could stay onsite at the inn, allowing us to maximize our time together. We could even add on having them cook breakfast for us each morning, which was such a thoughtful touch and added to the sense of community and celebration. The versatility of the venue’s spaces gave us complete peace of mind, knowing we’d have a beautiful option no matter what the weather brought. From the charming round barn to the pavilion, gazebo by the pond, and the fire pit, each area offered something special. The bonfires we had both nights were a huge hit with our guests, and everyone loved the swings around the fire—a unique and fun touch! Carol, the innkeeper, was so friendly and accommodating, making sure every detail was taken care of with care and warmth. Her hospitality made us and our guests feel right at home. If you’re looking for a venue that combines Vermont charm, stunning natural beauty, and thoughtful hospitality, we cannot recommend Sleepy Hollow Inn highly enough. Sleepy Hollow was the perfect setting for our wedding in August 2024. The venue is stunning, with gorgeous natural surroundings and a layout that feels both professionally designed and wonderfully wild. The landscaping blends seamlessly with the environment, creating a magical, nature-filled atmosphere that made our day feel intimate and unique. The on-site inn was a huge plus, allowing us to host many friends and family comfortably. Everyone had plenty of space, and it felt like a home away from home, adding to the warmth of the celebration. The staff were exceptional—friendly, communicative, and incredibly helpful. They truly went above and beyond, especially when an intense storm hit the night before our wedding. Power went out, trees were downed, and we were worried it might derail everything. But the team remained calm and focused, working tirelessly to address the issues and ensure our day was perfect. Thanks to their dedication, the wedding was spectacular, and we’re so grateful for their hard work. As a same-sex couple, we also deeply appreciated how welcomed and supported we felt. The staff treated us with the same care and respect as any other couple, and that meant the world to us. Sleepy Hollow is a truly special place. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines natural beauty, exceptional service, and a team that genuinely cares, this is it. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. What a beautiful location for a destination wedding! We were blessed to be a part of our friends' wedding and to stay at the Sleepy Hollow Inn. We only briefly got to explore the hiking, biking trails but there seemed to be lots to explore. In winter this facility makes it own snow and maintains skiing and snowshoeing trails which would be wonderful to come back to experience!

Here for Nordic skiing. Fresh snow was a big help though more would be better! Many trails had not been groomed due to lack of snow. Terrain is challenging for a beginner.

I'm a local mountain biker and Sleepy is one of the best places to ride. A variety of terrain and skill options makes it accessible to all. Beautiful location. A little slice of heaven right here in Vermont.

Beautiful place to have a wedding! The setting is gorgeous. The Pavillion is wonderful and inviting! Loved the staff who were friendly, helpful and just did their jobs right.

I Just attended the most beautiful winter wedding here. Love that my family could stay together in the lodge, having access to two kitchens - in the main lodge, and in the round barn - everything was beautiful. Carol and Elizabeth were very friendly and accommodating.

a wonderful place where you can both stay nice and take the opportunity to rest up, or why not go skiing in the winter or try some other outdoor activities. Even a cozy Staale of you who may be married and have a beautiful and want to experience a fabulous romantic evening and night of course. no words for how beautiful and friendly everyone is and you get so good there.

This is a wonderful family owned and operated b&b style ski lodge. It's not too big not too small. Great for a weekend getaway and/or new skiers. We had the pond and the trails to our selves, and it was a delight! The pancake breakfast was delicious! It's a very casual atmosphere. There are both good and bad sides to this. You feel very much at home. The staff could maybe make a few improvements. Its a bit cluttered and I don't think there is one game or puzzle entirely intact. I would certainl-happily go back, I'd just bring my own games/puzzles.

We had our wedding here on NYE 16. It was beautiful and perfect. The inn is cozy, the innkeepers are friendly and helpful and the owners are accommodating and answer every email in a timely fashion. The inn was also clean and had plenty of room for the amount of guests we had staying there. The round barn is a gorgeous place to be married in and the grounds that surround it are as well. A winter wedding on a small ski resort was exactly what we wanted.
