Favorite coffee place in town for years now…for good reason.
Never pass up a chance to swing by. Even if there’s a line it’s completely worth the wait. You’ll actually make friends while waiting.
The pastries are made in house and incredible. Even if you’re not typically a pastry eater, you’ll find yourself realizing it’s worth your while to taste what’s in there small and wonderfully packed pastry case. Everything from the maple bar to the buttermilk donut to the chocolate cake donuts. If you’re hungrier: they have an amazing roasted tomato cream cheese that goes on their toasted bagels. Their vegan options are wonderfully moist and tasty breads.
Their beans are very reasonably priced and they grind for you as needed. Usually my place for beans bc they have an incredible selection: from Ugandan, to Brazilian, to Indian, to Peruvian… and that’s before their own blends: Monastery blend, Oregon Fog, and their holiday special Java Jingle are distinctly delicious. The best part of course are their tqke out coffees. They have an amazing selection that they roast themselves. My go to have become the cold brew with extra ice before I hit the road for Seattle.
Their pastry lineup is spectacular: beginning with my favorite maple bar, buttermilk doughnut, cake donuts either covered in sprinkles or chocolate icing, Chai oat gluten-free bread, ham and cheese and pesto roll up, almond croissant, gluten-free lemon poppyseed bread, vegan gluten free brownie, chocolate pumpkin bread (amazing), chai oat bread, orange ginger or bacon and blue cheese scones, rosemary or plain or cheese bagels can be toasted and you can ask for plain or sun-dried tomato cream cheese or smoked salmon cream cheese.
Woman-owned by two sister who are warm and friendly and a joy to interact with. It doesn’t matter how long you had to stay in line when you get to the counter you feel like you’re the most important customer to them.
Update: their last day was December 29, 2025. The lines remained long all day per usual. They will be missed forever.
