Love, love this pizza! The sauce is perfect with excellent seasoning and the crust is nice and thin. The pizza is not at all greasy. The garlic knots are also delicious. The guys who work there are so kind and know everyone. What a great find! It's really small but if you want to eat there, there a couple tables inside and picnic tables outside.

Heather Brown

Google
I ordered gluten free pizza for delivery, and it was so amazing that I questioned at first whether it was gluten free or not. After reviewing photos and reviews online, I felt like it was safe. I would’ve known immediately if it wasn’t since I have celiac disease. It’s been over 24 hours and I can say it’s definitely gluten free. And the absolute best GF pizza I have ever had. Next time I will request extra sauce or a side of sauce though. The crust was airy and fluffy and had such a great flavor. I wish they’d open a spot on Johns Island!

Google
An absolute amazing pizza place! We live 45 minutes away in the Charleston area, but we will absolutely be coming here frequently because it’s just that good. Do you like pizza? Are you smart? If so, this place is for you! Amazing crust, sauce, toppings, and cheese. Plenty of seating outside, small dining room if that’s your thing, and run by an incredible family!

Bethany Stevens

Google
We tried out Slice Co. for lunch and loved the authentic NY style pizza. The crust was thin and crispy and everything we tried (pepperoni, white, and garlic knots) was delicious! The white pizza, however, was EXCEPTIONAL…the hint of lemon in the ricotta, the carmelized onions, the sesame seeds, all collide to bring the party to your mouth…chefs kiss! Don’t sleep on this place. It’s the real deal!

Philip Clapper

Google
Great food and great people! Recommend getting pickup, very small dining area. The staff will get to know you the more often you go, and they are very kind! Garlic knots are superb. Perfect place for takeout after hanging with friends.

Google
A Fantatisc find for pizza aficionados, especially those needing gluten-free options. The knowledgeable staff ensures a safe, delicious experience, offering a wide variety of pizzas, no meatball and chicken for gluten-free versions. The care in avoiding cross-contamination is commendable, making the dining experience worry-free. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and eagerly anticipate returning. Highly recommended for a top-notch, gluten-conscious feast!

Jon Teall

Google
The pizza is 10/10 across the board! We ordered a cheese pizza and a slice of grandma to split. We will be back as often as possible. House made mozzarella, AND a vegan house made mozzarella? Good job y’all

Gary Heaton

Google
The crust is perfect. It's thin with a nice cornicione. This is a pizza that is best when served simply. Keep things to just a couple of toppings and don't overwhelm the crust. The Grandma Pie is particularly nice with its combination of toppings and crispy crust.

Yelp
Slico Co. is a small pizza joint in a shopping center in West Ashley. My husband and I often do pick-up orders and bring our pizza home. Despite the name, I recommend ordering a whole pizza over slices, because the pie is freshly made and a better judge of quality. The veggie pie is thin crust, piled high with veggies, and delicious. It reheats well in the air fryer- although the slice cuts are super large, so I usually have to cut my slices smaller to fit in my air fryer. I also like the garlic knots and the sweetness of the marinara that comes with them. If you're a vegan, you're in luck because they also have vegan cheese and a vegan pizza option. I wish more spots in town offered this.

Yelp
This was a tiny place, though there were a couple of seats indoors and picnic tables outside. As the name suggests, ordering by the slice is an option, and doing so got me my food faster than several who ordered fresh pies, as there was a bit of a rush. It was a splendid cheese slice with a bit of basil hiding under the cheese and sharp flavors all around. Ordering a salad was a good decision; it was a sizable salad with mushrooms and nuts and an oil-based dressing which was quite filling and at least a little bit healthy. My garlic knots, not so much, but they were satisfying. I wouldn't put it up there with the top pizzas in Charleston, but for a quick meal by the slice it fit the bill. Note that the grandma pizza is not vegetarian; I've never heard of anchovy in pizza sauce but at least they disclose this if you read the menu.

Yelp
Their GF pizza is delish. It's almost like a sourdough pizza bread. Nice and fluffy. The pepperoni is delish and I'm not normally one for the pep. Add a couple other toppings and you're set! This is only my second time having theirs due to it being a good but pricier than others but their quality rings through and it's a nice change of pace from other pizzas. The joint is in a strip mall and the store is no thrills with a tiny space if you decide to dine in versus take out. But, there's plenty of parking in this intimate corner restaurant. Service takes bout forty minutes so give it a little time and order online or call ahead and do whatever else you need to do prior. Then swing in for a delish slice!

Yelp
Awesome place! The owner was working it in the kitchen; seamlessly taking care of everyone when it got busy. The food is authentic, as he is from Brooklyn! There was garlic powder, oregano, crushed pepper and spicy olive oil that you put on your pizza yourself - like they do it in NYC. Lunch special was two slices and a pop for $9. We will definitely be back!

Janet R.

Yelp
Great place to just grab a quick slice of pizza. They also have full sized pies. The staff were friendly and helpful. Pizza was hot and fresh. Will definitely be back. Cute picnic tables outside to eat.

Yelp
Awesome staff, amazing food, unique pizza, cool atmosphere, a lot of parking, outdoor seating, really chill place to hangout with friends

Yelp
Woooooow! Super impressed by this place. Sauce was amazing. Mozzarella is homemade, and the crust was delicious and thin (I ordered a slice of regular cheese). Three people know what they're doing! Prices seemed really fair to me and customer service was amazing. I'll be back!

Yelp
On a day of pigging out on my baby girl's birthday. I took a few spots off my Yelp list to hit up. It's a pig out day for us. We're going to get a little something from here, in a little something from there. This place was on my list. First and foremost I have to say, this is the best Riccotta I have ever had in my whole life. It is so fresh and lemony. It just reeks up spring. You can just give me a bowl of this with a spoon. But I also love the ingredients. Every ingredient they have is done differently. It's signature. The way they cut the vegetables, the way the onions are caramelized. As we are pulling off my daughter ask did we just spend $10 for two slices of pizza. And then it officially dawned on me that we did. Y.O.L.O!!!! They have regular slice pizzas and the thicker square slice they call the grandma slice if I'm not mistaken. I highly recommend the grandma. I will be back soon to grab a whole pizza. This was our third stop and we had two more to go so that was not much room in our tummies for a whole one. If two slices were 10 dollars I hate to see what it's going to set me back for a whole one. Will be back soon. R.I.P. to Marley Lyon. A young man who innocently lost his life in his parking lot. Coming from a party he was intoxicated and did the right thing. He pulled over and sat there and gathered his mind so he can continue his journey safely in his car. He passed out but was incoherently interrupted by a few robbery suspects. Through miscommunication between the parties he was shot and killed. I spent a lot of time in the neighborhood behind this shopping center. Very tough streets in a neighborhood called Ardmore. It still is but not as bad. I know all the characters involved in this mishap. It's cool to see the evolution of life because this parking lot looks completely different now. As it should. I say all that to say allow evolution to hit you. The change you need may be very uncomfortable. But the key word here is need. Life is short everyone you ever met is going to die. Allow evolution to happen. This is going to help you and the rest of the world have the greatest quality of life possible. You know what you need to do. Do it. No questions. I love you and be safe.

Yelp
Nosy NYer conversation but friendly, explained items. A bit over priced for a "Lunch Special" but Grandma slice was really good. Perfect crust and taste might come back for that.

Drew M.

Yelp
Normal slice was meh, the grandma slice was insultingly bad. Would not recommend, even in a quality pizza starved city like Charleston.
google avatar

Genny B.

Yelp
Quick and easy New York style grandma and white cheese slice pizzas. Delicious especially when one is on the go...located in West Ashley, served by the very friendly owner...
google avatar

Joseph S.

Yelp
The owner grew up on Long Island NY (Nassau County) and then later lived in Brooklyn. He definitely has the credibility for a good NY style slice of pizza. We ordered a slice of pepperoni, a slice of the grandma pizza, a side of the meatballs, and the cookies & cream ice cream bar. We definitely will come back.

M C.

Yelp
The most authentic delicious pizza I have ever tasted since I have been living here in South Carolina for 31 years. I went to slice on Savannah Highway in West Ashley, Charleston, and it was the best day of my life in a long time. th place was clean and inviting. I am from New York City and I haven't had real pizza in a very long time and I could 100% guarantee that you will love love love love the pizza. I ordered a cheese pizza but nothing hits like this slice... after I folded that pizza and took my first bite, the cheese literally melted in my mouth. nothing can compare with that delicious flavor and brought back so many good memories of me going to the local pizza shop in New York City. Run, don't walk to slice on Savannah Highway. It will be the best trip of your life.

Yelp
Absolutely fire! Best pizza I've had in the city! Amazing sauce, well seasoned, thin crispy crust! And the staff is amazing! Friendly and inviting! 100 outta ten!

Yelp
After reading many positive reviews my husband and I decided to stop by for some dinner. We were unaware that there was only two small tables inside the restaurant and most of the sales come from pick up or delivery. But there is, also, a picnic table outside but today it was raining. When we arrived we were greeted immediately by whom, I believe, to be the owner and seemed to be happy and relaxed as he was baking and singing along to the radio. You can purchase by the slice or by the pie and deep dish or New York style. I decided on the Margherita and my husband chose pepperoni and they made us ah half and half. We were so very happy to definitely not be disappointed because since moving here we have yet to find "our pizza place". This just might be the place. You should definitely give it a shot because we will be back for another try.

Mickey-Laura A.

Yelp
Awesome pizza! Very chill ambiance and friendly service. Pizza had perfect crust and cheese-to-sauce ratio. Very flavorful. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Dunn F.

Yelp
It was my first time and I had heard much about this place. Service is excellent. Food is fantastic. I had meatballs, garlic knots, and two slices of pizza. So, why three stars? Everything was cold. I did take-out and drove 7 minutes home. I had to heat every single thing. This is unacceptable. I won't be back . Responding to owner Todd's comment about my review. Take responsibility. Don't blame the cold. If you like I can give you a list of other restaurants who have managed to serve hot food in a to-go container, without incident--despite my 7 minute drive.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and even better hospitality. I got the lunch special that consisted of 2 slices and a pop for $7.50. Super good deal! The NY style was simple, but yet perfected. The grandma slice was my favorite. It wasn't as thick and cheesy as what you typically get with the style, but it was executed very well in a different fashion. The fella running the shop was very inviting and we ended up having a good discussion on local eats and stuff. He made the trip a good experience by conversation alone. Great place for your everyday, what you want pizza. Will 100% be a returning customer.

Nicholas D.

Yelp
Absolutely the best pizza in town! The Vegan and Gluten free pizzas are amazing! Highly recommend! The guys there are super friendly too, check them out!

Cassidy I.

Yelp
This pizza was so amazing!! I have lived here for two years and have searched for a great pizza spot and this shop is the BEST pizza I've probably ever had. The owner is awesome! quick easy service!
google avatar

Tabatha A.

Yelp
The gluten free crust is thick and amazing! Owner was there and he makes the crust and loooooooved it!! Great place we will be back!!
google avatar

Lisa Y.

Yelp
My favorite pizza place in Charleston, especially for a NY slice. I always get it with extra pepporoni, red onions, and honey -- the basil comes complimentary!
google avatar

Ahmad F.

Yelp
Worst pizza I ever had, got 3 slices. The pizza in the display did not look good but I thought these only for display. We got chicken parm and it was the worst I ever had Not sure why the restaurant rated 4.5 stars
google avatar

Shayla V.

Yelp
Grandma Pizza is legit House Made Fresh Mozzarella, San Marzano Tomato, Anchovy, Garlic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Fresh Basil, Fresh Parsley, Sicilian Oregano. Oh but we needed protein, so we added the Wagyu meatballs! Wished there was more meat, but it was wicked awesome to say the least!
google avatar

Yelp
If you have celiac or need to eat gluten free, their gf pizza is the best I've ever had. A few years ago we ordered pizza here and my husband and son ordered a grandma pizza. They said it was just okay. But after trying a grandma pizza in NJ, they determined that they just don't like grandma pizza (we don't care for MY grandma's pizza either ... she smokes like a chimney and sweats bourbon ) Anyway, we ordered spur-of-the-moment. My husband and son ordered a round pizza with red onion and honey. They won't shut up about how delicious it is. I ordered the GF pizza w mushroom and sausage. The sausage is a little spicy for me but I don't care. It's so freaking delicious! I'm stuffed but it's hard to stop eating. Pretty sure the guy that was working is the owner. He was upbeat and friendly and made me feel comfortable about eating there. They also have an option to check if you just prefer GF or if you have celiac. I appreciate this SO much! Oh- and to the guy with the cold pizza complaint- I read your review out loud to my family. Thanks for the laugh! I feel like the owner should use the review to advertise with or something. Like the way that coffee place says, "come try the worst coffee some guy on Yelp said he had here".

Mary S.

Yelp
They added some cheese to a pre-made grandma pizza then put in the oven and heated up. It tasted "blah" and nothing like I would expect. Disappointed.
google avatar

Eir B.

Yelp
Ordered the Cheese pizza. I am really picky about pizza and I typically dislike everything. This was quite possibly the best slice of pizza I have ever had. Also they seem very covid conscious.
google avatar

Madison R.

Yelp
If you're looking for good, mouthwatering, authentic pizza, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!! We live right across the highway, & this will now be our "go to". They only have a few pies to choose from, but you can add toppings & make it perfect for yourself! We had the grandma & a cheese pizza with meatballs, bacon, basil, and pepperonis on it. The grandma was UNREAL. The owner explained to me how they make the marinara, and OMG it was incredible. The grandma has a faint fishy taste, just because of how the make the sauce, but it makes it that much more savory! Grandma is a must have!!! The cheese pizza was my boyfriend's favorite. He literally ate piece after piece. He couldn't get enough! The crust is thin, but not too crunchy-thin. It's seriously perfect. I am so glad I found this place! The owner was super nice & very knowledgeable & helpful. He informed me that all of their ingredients are FRESH & cheese is made in house! This makes a HUGE difference. Slice Company is willing to go above and beyond, and seems to accomplish that with each pie! I will be back soon!

Yelp
You won't be disappointed!!! Really great service and amazing Pizza!!!!!! Not sure if they deliver. We just picked it up to eat at home.

Archie B.

Yelp
I've travelled this beautiful country and have tried many different variations of pizza. This was possibly one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. They attempted to imitate the NY style by making it very thin crust with not too much cheese. They ended up having just a dusting of cheese on the pizza, very little to no sauce or flavor. It was quite literally cardboard. Disappointed for sure, I hope they continue to improve their recipe and wish the best.

Brian L.

Yelp
Beat pizza in Charleston. Great slice to be eaten right out of the oven. Go now. Cheese Pizza
google avatar

Marylyn W.

Yelp
This place had yummy crusty pizza. I was sad went on a Tuesday and they were closed :( . I will bring my husband to taste it.
google avatar

Holden M.

Yelp
The pizza is delish and a nice thin crust. You can get vegan cheese too which is a big plus and plenty of topping options. The sauce is yummy. I've only ordered delivery, so I can't speak to the ambiance. Slice is a really solid pizza option. Sometimes when the week gets busy, we happily order a pizza from Slice. Conscientious, easy, delicious. The owner and the small team hold it down and are quick to remedy should any order requests arise.
google avatar

Darienne J.

Yelp
Ive lived in Charleston since 2016 and I had no idea this gem was here! The best slice of pizza I have had in Charleston HANDS DOWN. Its a cozy spot and definitely going on my favorites list! Thank you!!
google avatar

Jonny S.

Yelp
Fair prices for a slice, and service was friendly and quick(for a slice). Friendly cashier and outside dining. My only complaint is that I didn't get three slices. So good!
google avatar

Martin H.

Yelp
Evening "dinner". Perfect to grab a few slices and a couple of sodas. Pleasant service / staff. The pizza was very good, considering they're reheated slices. Would come back again for a full pie. No question. Very good.

David T.

Yelp
I would call it "artisanal" pizza. Ingredients made in house according to the owner's vision. All the New Yorkers who have flocked here cannot say there's no NY-style pizza in Charleston. There's not much heft to the pizza, even with extra cheese, a normal man could finish it by himself. Keep this in mind if you are feeding a crowd. If you just want a quick snack, they sell single slices, which is unusual to find. Staff is very friendly.

Courtney S.

Yelp
Honestly my pizza was so gross. It tasted like frozen pizza and looked even worse. Wouldn't recommend
google avatar

rachel n.

Yelp
I ordered a slice of cheese, slice pepperoni, water, and a coke off of the DoorDash app, unfortunately I had problems with the delivery so the food did arrive cold. But with that being said, the pizza was still very good! Sauce full of flavor and the crust is perfectly crispy. I will be ordering again, just from a different delivery platform.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
This is a great neighborhood pizza joint. I saw a top 10 rating in The City Paper, so I thought that I would give it a try and you know, Bada bing - West Ashley. We did the cheese pizza with mushroom, onions, olives, extra basil, and extra sauce. Wow. We loved it. Thin NY style crust and great tasting toppings. An 18" was around $26 bucks. An 18" cheese was around $16.59 and we added cost with extras. WORTH IT!
google avatar

Ky C.

Yelp
DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!! I really wish I could give these place 0 stars! My sister & I ordered the 18" Vegan cheese pizza (because the offer slices on all pizza EXCEPT the vegan one). Prior to ordering we saw that they used 'Follow Your Heart' vegan cheese, which is the best cheese for vegans as far as taste. Long story short, they DO NOT use this cheese any longer! I ate ONE slice & nearly gagged! Not only was it dry, the cheese tasted awful!! My sister also strongly disliked the pizza & called to make a complaint & was given a full refund! I called & spoke to the manager Todd who scoffed & said "NO! I'm not giving both of you a refund". This is very disheartening as a customer who paid over $30 + tip & was declined a refund when they literally gave one to my sister who they thanked for not doing a bad review & calling. Do yourself a favor & DO NOT eat here!!! Bad customer service on top of bad food!!!
google avatar

Justin R.

Yelp
Overpriced for what you get. I ordered the grandma pizza with pepperoni. They clearly have no idea what a grandma pizza should be. Crust was hard like a cracker and not worth the $30.00 I spent. Will not be back.
google avatar

Viv E.

Yelp
This is a New York style pizza. I love New York pizza. The size of the place the decor reminds me of the big apple. The crust is thin and not wet . You can pick it up and fold it just right. The sauce light and seasoned. Cheese fresh and the pepperoni was great. It was a very good slice. The interior looks like it seats about 12. The management was very friendly. They have been at the West Ashley location for a year. Try it . You will love it.
google avatar

George S.

Yelp
Outstanding pizza. I don't indulge with pizza that often anymore so when I do I am not going to waste it on mediocre pizza. Slice is a treat worth cheating for.

Charles G.

Yelp
Been there before but been awhile..those boys keeping up the standard always..the meatball sub with ricotta is awesome
google avatar

Kyle H.

Yelp
I took advantage of a free pizza coupon for moving into the neighborhood and I'm glad I did! This is a classic NY style pizza with thin and chewy crust just how it's supposed to be. The marketing with a free pizza worked! I'll be eating pizza from here again for sure.
google avatar

Frank G.

Yelp
Small, 3 tables..but that's not what you're there for. If you want just good pizza by the slice or whole, (very large 18 inches) , go here. Out of the way at end of strip mall. They also have salads, meatball, and chicken parm sandwiches. Also Gluten free pizza. Pepperoni pizza is great. I just wish that the anchovy's were the large type and not just a small piece. But, once again, if you want great pizza, this is it. Frank G

Travis K.

Yelp
I've tried pizza pizza from every corner of this city. Slice Co has one of the best pies in Charleston.
google avatar

Corey W.

Yelp
Well, this place is just ok... nothing to write home about, and definitely not designed to eat in. There are 3 VERY small tables with just a couple of chairs, and it's quite warm because it's in the same place as the pizza ovens. The person at the register, I believe was probably the owner. She was SUPER friendly, and very happy. Loved her energy. The pizza is in a display case under the counter. They had 4 different pies that were pre cooked from which you could order slices, or you could order a whole pie cook to order. I ordered a slice of pepperoni, and an order of garlic knots. The slice was average in size, a pretty thin crust too, although not really crunchy, I think due to it being pre cooked. They heat it up when you order it. The garlic knots were also decent, nothing extraordinary, but definitely good. All in all I would say this place is just average. I would say that andolinis is better, for New York style pizza anyway. I doubt I would go back, but I did definitely love the owner or whomever was at the register.
