The food was okay, the wings need a little more seasoning. They literally taste like plain wings with a sauce on them. The pizza was good and the place is very nice. A nice walk from the World of Coca-Cola.

Google
Decent food, decent atmosphere. Would like the option for thicker crust. Service was great. Our waiter let me use one of their cords to charge my phone after it died, which was pretty considerate.

Regretful experience I was exhausted after a long 10-hour flight and just wanted something quick near my hotel. This place was the closest, so I went in and ordered a takeaway pizza. The lady at the counter was rude and made me repeat several times that it was takeaway before finally getting it. I still left a tip. Big mistake. The pizza was absolutely terrible, definitely not “special style” or anything close to what they advertise. The dough was hard, the sauce tasted like it came from a cheap ready made, and the whole thing felt like a failed attempt at pizza. I checked the reviews after going, which was clearly my mistake. Lesson learned. If you’re thinking of going, don’t. Save your money, your time, and your mood. Also, don’t bother tipping rude service.

Google
The Tikka Masala panerr pizza was delish! But the Margherita was not tasty. So it's hit and miss here. The atmosphere was friendly and fun. Loved the music.

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great spot in downtown Atlanta! The pizza is delicious, fresh, and served fast. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere. Definitely a go-to for a quick, tasty slice and beer when in Downtown.

Waited a very long time for the food. Was told that parties over 4 can only be paid by one person. No refills on drinks because their drinks are in cans, but the drinks are $3 a piece. The fries and chicken tenders appeared to be store bought and cooked from frozen. Several people had to ask for salt for the fries as there was no seasoning on them. The salt never came. Before leaving, several people in my group left a review. As I was paying, the owner started to question me on the review (we heard them talking about it while we waited an hour for the food). The owner tried to figure out which people left the review and argued with me on why the food took so long. She said that it would’ve been better to reserve before we came in. The cook in the back said it took a while because we ordered different things…….. the place was bad!! Also, they charge more for credit card payments… also they add a tip automatically.

Google
Honestly I don't like to give bad reviews but yeah food was terrible....... Pizza tasted like it came out of microwave.... Asked for light sauce. Was drenched in sauce. Cheese was yeah disappointing and not to mention had almost no peperoni...... We ordered hot wings, Wings had zero sauce..... and I mean literally none. They put none! We had gotten it to go so we didn't check until we arrived home..... safe to say never going back. Extremely disappointed after paying $37 for a medium Pizza, wings, and fries. We also did try food giving benefit of doubt and not good at all.....

Google
I have eaten some cheese pizzas that were nearly $100 and this was the best cheese pizza I ever had. Half of it was cheese with extra cheese and ricotta and the other half was cheese extra cheese. The price was good but the extra large pizza is about a large chain Pizza size. Not that big. Delicious!!

Yelp
Loved this spaghetti. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce had a deep, homemade taste. The flavors blended well, and the Parmesan cheese on top added a nice touch. The restaurant had a warm and inviting feel, making the experience even better.

Yelp
Quiet place, nice, patient staff. I ordered my favorite pineapple pizza, but instead of ham I asked for chicken, for which I paid an extra dollar. It was not only unpleasant because of the extra dollar, but also because unnatural, salty over roasted chicken was used. However, I really enjoyed the pizza. It was incredibly thin and crispy. The cheese was unsalted and the BBQ sauce didn't stand out in the overall flavor spectrum.
google avatar

Ramsey A L.

Yelp
the pizza was really goodd, with a nice balance of sauce and cheese. crust was crispy and had a great texture. the staff was super friendly, but the wait time was a bit long. loved the cozy vibe of the restaurant. 9/10, will come again!

Roe V.

Yelp
Ordered a butter chicken pizza, received a chicken tikka masala pizza instead. Maybe my fault for ordering an hour before they close but disappointed. Tikka masala pizza was okay, barely any chicken.

Yelp
Pizza is no better than cheap grocery store pizza. In fact, I've had much better grocery store pizza. I can't believe it has such a high star rating.

Yelp
This place will surprise you because if you're not looking for it, you may miss it. It looks like it's always been there, but that's a good thing because it is a fantastic place. Inside there's table seating and bar seating, music playing that's upbeat and fun, and a full menu of dishes to choose from. We got a basket of fries and their mini garlic knots along with some personal pizzas and two medium specialty pizzas. We were hungry. The garlic knots disappeared we ate them so fast! They were absolutely delicious, and the fries were fantastic! The pizzas were so good and everything was out in a quick and reasonable amount of time. Sodas were bottled, and the two ladies there working were fantastic, even giving us tips for the area since we're just visiting. We *will* be coming back to this restaurant! Fantastic food and Fantastic people!

Yelp
Unfortunately was pretty disappointed. Went for lunch with coworkers. Crust was good but portion and pizza itself was pretty "skimpy" and lacking substance for the price. Couldn't even get a glass of ice water either, "bottle only". Not sure if this establishment is brand newly open or what but they have some things to work on for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
Really downhill the past few years. I used to frequent two or three times a week, but don't think I'll be returning again. The food's just not what it used to be, and the prices have spiked on top of it.

Yelp
Stopped her to grab pizza to take back to my hotel room when passing through Atlanta on my way home from vacation. Greasy pizza had been sounding good for a few days. I went to the bar since no one was behind the counter. The bartender offered me a menu and few words after I asked if I could place an order to go. I ordered a medium pepperoni. Note, pizza by the slice is only at lunch time. After some time I was told my order we be ready soon. I asked if I could pay wanting to get back to the hotel quickly. After paying I was informed that it would be 3 minutes and that the chef had made the wrong pizza (it happens, but nothing offered to smooth it over). The pizza was okay - not greasy. :(.

Yelp
I have been going to Slice for years and I had to go back today for lunch! But unfortunately I no longer work downtown, so I had to drive over and it isn't easy to park (of course it's downtown). I parked in a lot a block away on the corner of Fairlie and Luckie as I didn't want to waste time circling for street parking. It was $8. Bummer. But this location is great for GSU students and downtown employees! They are able to easily walk there. I walked in and the staff was all very friendly! I went up to the cashier and she gave me a menu because I forgot what I wanted to order. She took my order while a cook in the back said hello. As I waited for my pizza to finish, I waited at a nearby table and noticed the restaurant was very clean. And I noticed the workers was friendly and provided fast service to everyone. Once my pizza was cooked, it was brought out and handed directly to me. I took it back with me and ate it at home. It was delicious! I'm definitely impressed and surprised I enjoyed pineapples on my pizza (even though I love pineapples off of pizza). I only gave the place 4 stars due to the parking situation. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Wanted basic , delicious pizza and that is what I got. It's thin crust. They deliver , and it tasted good. What else do you need? And it was later but they were still open. Price is average, not cheap.

Yelp
Well let's first say that I really liked the food. We had some salad, a meat lovers pizza and some lasagna. All was excellent. The lasagna was $11.99 and was small, very small, with garlic bread. So I don't think it was worth the price but very tasty, like some of the best I've had, but the size could be bigger for the price or a little less priced. The pizza was perfect. Salads were small but good. Ordered bottled water (not by choice). Now for why I'm not giving 5 stars: *The music is super loud. *I swear I smelled cigarette smoke, as did the rest of my party, so unsure if this is a smoke-free place or not. *They only have drinks that you buy in bottles. So if you finish that one bottle of water, you're going to pay for another. They do not offer glasses of ice water. I guess that's a thing they're doing to bring in more money. Same with soft drinks, only bottles. I just don't like having to pay for water bottles. I think offering iced water isn't asking too much. I mean charge a buck for the cup but keep refilling. I guess they don't want to pay for I've too (see pic) which I guess I'm glad for or I could have had "a few extra dollars added to my bill so they can stay in business". ****The main reason I didn't give them 5 stars and should give them 1 star (luckily the food was good) is their explanation on their TV (pictured) as to why they are adding fees to your bill. I get times are tough with inflation but adjust your menu prices. We got charged like a credit card fee and also their "inflation fee" that was added. I just think Throwing a dollar amount for (see pic) "if a restaurant adds a few dollars to your check, it's to stay in business" then they should state how they get that amount. Is it, "well we're just going to add $5 to this check?" How are thy figuring what amount they're putting on your check????? Also gratuity is already on the bill and we weren't a large party. So let's just say this was an expensive lunch. Good food but we would not go back.

Brian M.

Yelp
I don't understand how this place isn't packed on a Friday night. Good service nice atmosphere and phenomenal pizza! We (me and my daughter) had the butter chicken pizza and couldn't stop eating until it (a large) was gone! One of the best crusts I've ever had.

Mercedes C.

Yelp
Way Over priced. Food took over 20 mins for 2 slices and some wings They are right next to a hospital they could easily make a large profit with lunch Discounts for certain period of time during the day to increase customer volume Slices of pizza are extremely thin like paper but it strangely not bad at all. They would do so much better to do lunch discounted prices. Wings had an Indian food flavor even though I ordered honey hot. Customer service was excellent!! Made me happy but there was piece of hair in my dipping sauce. I really like the owners tho they were such a vibe. Prolly wouldn't go back cause prices does not make sense for the type of food they serve. It's not luxury pizza. I believe they are selling pizza at ridiculous prices due to location downtown but work smarter not harder. I wish I could help there business grow cause I know exactly what they need. But not my concern just here to share a review Oh when a person asks for pepperoni and they pay for EXTRA pepperoni, I shouldn't see nothing at the top of the pizza but pepperonis. I paid for extra this was regular in my opinion

Yelp
Hot. Fresh. Delicious. What more do you need to know? Service was fast. Location convenient.

Yelp
Man, what happened to this place? The service has gone so far downhill it might as well be in a ditch. The food has also changed. I don't know if there been a change in management/ownership but this place just isn't good anymore. The lone sullen bartender/server is unhelpful and terse. The owners/managers are an Indian couple who walk around and just glare at everyone and everything. The mood is depressing, and no one there seems to be enjoying... anything. At all. It sucks because this used to be such a bright, happy little pizza joint with bubbly staff and great food. Now it's just... sad. And they will charge you extra for using a card.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
So the food is good, but... Water is not available. We asked for half our pizza pie to have sausage and they couldn't fulfill this request. Gratuity is automatically included. They charge an extra fee for using a credit card. We ordered one pizza slice and were brought two. The building smells. They didn't bring us plates.

Yelp
Awesome service. They had meatballs. Can't complain. Prices were reasonable. They gave bottled water which I appreciated.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the quality of food received. I am not sure if the pizza is different when you order at the restaurant itself but this review is from my UberEats order. I ordered 2 cheese slices and 2 pepperoni slices with breadsticks and marinara sauce. When I received the order, I was so excited to eat until I opened the box and was very unpleased. The size of the slice was great but the presentation and taste was subpar. The cheese literally looked like plastic and the crust was burnt . I was so upset as I was looking forward to this pizza. I've never had Slice but so many people told me good things so I was excited to try. Granted I am a little bias as I am from NY and I'm used to a great slice of pizza but this wasn't even in the running. Maybe I had a bad batch but after taking a few bites, I couldn't eat it anymore and just threw it away. I contacted UberEats to let them know but all I was given was a generated message that said they would "give the restaurant my feedback" I won't be spending money here again so unless I'm given a free slice by a friend to change my mind , my review will remain the same . :(

Yelp
Good old Slice; tucked away in downtown atlanta off of Forsyth St. If you work in the area it's adjacent to the the US Court of Appeals on a one-way street. Good atmosphere and customer service with affordable prices. You can order by the slice or by the pie. They use fresh ingredients and the salad dressings are homemade (I prefer Caesar). They serve adult beverages so be sure to indulge. No immediate parking in front of the establishment. There is street parking on nearby streets and a few parking lots on Luckie St. If you're in the area, be sure to check them out. Btw, I sat at the bar...
google avatar

Joseph Emily K.

Yelp
I'd give it a zero if I could. They wait until our food is supposed to be delivered to refund us and cancel the food. Absolutely not acceptable when placing an order at 630pm.
google avatar

Cindy B.

Yelp
I really hate to do this...I don't wanna be that person:/ Slice has been a place that I've been going to for years and I'm also in the service industry. They've always been accommodating and the service has always been good, including this time, our server was sweet and attentive, but since the pandemic, the quality of the food and the menu has gone downhill. This review has nothing to do with service, but ownership/management. When you order a Stromboli, you expect it to have the meat in it that has always come with. To my surprise, when my food arrived, I had a broken apart puff pastry/half cooked that was nothing but grease and cheese. Our server didn't bother to mention that the menu had changed and if you wanted the meat that USED to come in the traditional dish, you had to order it separately at $1.25 a piece which would have made my dish around $15 which would have been fine, but don't change the menu and think people are gonna know you're just serving them cheese and bread‍ if I wanted that, I would have ordered cheesy bread they took the balsamic egg off the Cobb salad, the margarita pizza looked weird and the pesto sandwich came out after everyone else had eaten and was literally soaked in oil:/ the salad looked nice‍ I understand trying to cut small corners, struggling with cost in this economy, and doing what you have to do to make a business profit..but at the risk of losing long time guest, at least train your servers to know what was traditionally served and what is on the menu now to ask guest‍ also, I made concerns known at the table and didn't eat my food...the waitress offered to make a new one, but we had somewhere to be and I was so put off I didn't wanna bother. I passed it around so everyone could have a bite after I had 2..I didn't wanna be sick from grease, but we still paid for it. If there was a concern that was brought up at the table, a manager should be notified and the situation addressed. My friend paid for my food because I arranged the dinner and didn't even eat and had to go somewhere else to get food. I normally tip at least 30%, never complain, and try to write good review. We drink, eat, tip and bring other people who do the same. Unfortunately, we won't be back. It's the end of an era:/ I wish them nothing but luck and good fortune, but this experience put a big damper on a special evening. I rarely go downtown these days, and I'm sad that this is my last experience there. My heart is sad that Slice will never be what it was:(

Yelp
We ordered take out. A bit pricey for a medium pizza- $20. They ended up giving us the wrong pizza but didn't realize until we got back. It is a bit disappointing that we paid for the extra toppings and only got pepperoni. Would've saved us $5. Garlic knots were $6 and there weren't a lot. The pizza was decent so I will give it three stars.

Brad H.

Yelp
Ambiance decent. Service slow. They waited 30 min after I ordered to tell me they were out of margarita pizza. Then I had to wait another 20+ To get a weak frozen pizza-level pie. Then tried to charge me for more expensive margarita and disputed with me that they were over Charging. The water was good
google avatar

Rainey W.

Yelp
Unfortunately I found a hair in my slice of pizza. The bathroom also looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. I seriously doubt I'd give this place a second chance.
google avatar

Yelp
I wandered in here and am grateful. Pizza is very good; hospitality is fantastic. Marcus the bartender/server and the owners were incredibly kind. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a meal and great conversation.
google avatar

Yelp
On a snowy evening in downtown Atlanta, not much else was open, and I'm glad Slice was. I really liked the laid back vibe, and had I not been tipsy already, definitely would have ordered a few drinks here. The bartender was friendly and my pizza was really good. The place even smells delicious, so I wasn't surprised. I would've appreciated a few more artichokes though, but the pizza was even good un-reheated the next day. The specialty pizzas sound awesome. I'd return if in the area.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! We were in town visiting and this was the best food and experience we had in Atlanta! If you're in the area you should definitely try this place! The owner is the sweetest person and really left an impression on us!
google avatar

Darlene M.

Yelp
Excellent place to go for pizza in Atlanta! Great service and friendly The salads were so delicious and fresh. I had the half cob salad and it had lots of meat and cheese in it. I REALLY loved the balsamic pickled egg. I'm going home and trying to make them. My husband had the the Greek salad and he really enjoyed that as well with a nice tart dressing on it. We ordered the Sweet Pea pizza which had their fabulous red sauce It was a great pizza and the crust is perfect, thin and delicious to the crust rim. My husband has actually gone two days in a row. Glad I was able to go with today. It is a great find tucked a little ways from the Ferris Wheel or the CNN Center in downtown Atlanta!

Kristen R.

Yelp
Awesome food! Amazing service! I highly recommend SLICE... Best food and service we had in Atlanta!

Ynot E.

Yelp
This place was amazing as usual wonderful customer service and great food. The pizza just melts in your mouth will be returning soon.

Yelp
I've been sitting here for 30 mins waiting for a slice of pizza. 30 mins. For a plain slice of pizza. The most ridiculous thing I've ever experienced in my life. I don't even care if it's good or not. If there was anything else open I would've left 15 minutes ago. I will say the staff is nice and apologetic. But still.

Seila C.

Yelp
The food quality has significantly declined since I'd last been there. I ordered the garlic cheese sticks which were one of my favorites and it was not only a quarter of the size but about the equivalent of garlic cardboard that you'd get in a grocery aisle. I got meatballs also. They were previously nicely sized and seasoned but they now look like what comes in a Chef Boy Ardee can. No flavor!!!

Eric L.

Yelp
Great pizza, and my brother had the lasagna and said it was great also! Good beer selection! Multiple TV's to watch sports or if you ask they were very cool about changing to whatever you want to watch! Had great conversation with several patrons, that some were regulars and they all loved the place as well as we did! Sat and finished our beers while talking with the owners and they were super cool! Overall, a very good experience!!!

Yelp
Absolutely nothing to get excited about. We stopped in here on a Saturday night. Sat at the bar. Bartender was nice. Regular drinks, no drink specials. I still had high hopes. Regular pizza topping options which just seems boring to me these days. If your specialty is pizza, you should think a bit more out of the box. I would have loved to see turkey pepperonis or turkey sausage. They did offer turkey as a topping but it's deli sliced turkey. The slices we were served were clearly from an old pizza that has been sitting for a good deal of time. I'm assuming because it was about 40 minutes until closing, we got whatever was left. Hubby asked for another slice but was told they were sold out. Slices are large, crust tastes okay. Literally just another pizza spot. If I'm in the area again, I would try a different spot.

Timothy N.

Yelp
If I could I would give this place zero stars, I stopped by months ago while visiting and left because I saw a huge rat run behind the bar the server tried to convince me I was seeing things but I know for sure it was a rat because I also saw droppings along the wall. I decided to go back recently while in Atlanta visiting a friend who convinced me the place was ok to grab a slice of pizza I agreed to meet him there which was a horrible mistake, the smell is of dead animals trapped in the walls, because my friend had already ordered & was waiting on the food to be ready I tried my best to be a good sport and wait it out, I got up to use the restroom it was disgusting smelled twice as bad as the restaurant and had urine all over the floor and toilet seat, I went back to the table and told my buddy we needed to find another place to go, we sat and waited for the his food that seemed to be taking forever which was very odd considering the restaurant was so empty, the Indian man in the kitchen seemed like he had no clue what he was doing, when the food finally arrived the pizza was horribly soggy & my buddy said it taste old like it was made days before As i waited for him to finish I noticed roaches crawling on the floor & that was the last straw for me I got out of there & trust me I'll never make the mistake of visiting this dump again what a horrific experience.

Yelp
Taken from One Bite App review by Tony the "Pie Guy" Alright Frankie... While waiting in a unnecessarily long line at the Pizza Hut attached to our AirBnB, I decided to say screw it. Ended up picking this place which was a 15 minute walk right into the heart of downtown. This pizza was pretty cheesy. Sauce was good and not to heavy. The abundance of dough was soft and airy, with a few bubbles in the crust. Great end of the night drunk Pizza. 6.9/10
google avatar

Yelp
Great pizza and service. Marcus our server and he was patient and quick to bring our food.

Yelp
Came here because my boyfriend wanted pizza and it was close walking distance and I have to say, I am impressed! Cheese sticks were AMAZING. They have like 3 different cheeses inside and the marinara has a unique, delicious flavor to it! Pizza was also delectable. We got our usual favorite (pineapple, jalapeño & pepperoni) and it was the perfect amount of jalapeños. Not to mention they were very spicy, just the way we like it. With the 12" custom pizza with 3 toppings and small order of cheesy bread we spent $22 (before tip). Not to bad for delicious cheese & bread and a happy boyfriend!

Grayson F.

Yelp
Came here for dinner tonight. Had to wait an hour for our original order to come. They got one of our three items correct and after two hours finally returned with the correct items. Horrible service and horrible management. We got 10% off and a tiny pizza in return. The pizza was sub-par, would absolutely not recommend it to anyone in the area. Steer clear Atlanta-goers! Sincerely, your favorite customer!

Yelp
I had the meat lovers pizza and loved it. I'll be back to try more menu items. Delicious.

Yelp
This place definitely is getting a lot of hate due to service & overall meh vibe, but I can attest to the fact that the owner is working hard to turn that around. She's holding staff accountable and putting all her time and energy into revitalizing the restaurant from shoddy previous ownership and it's admirable. While the food didn't necessarily blow us away, the thoughtfulness of the owner & the fact I could tell it's getting better definitely did. We got standard cheesy bread & a veggie pizza - if just 2 people would recommend skipping the appetizer as it gets very filling otherwise - and both were on par with what we expect from these items. The thing that definitely blew us away was the owner connecting with us regarding our Indian heritage and making a special paneer pizza dish she makes her daughter. Amazing! The thoughtfulness was just so nice and refreshing. Please give this place a chance. They're trying really hard and in today's day and age, that is worth so much.

Ian F.

Yelp
By far worst food I've eaten in Atlanta. I wish I was exaggerating, avoid at all costs.

Davis D.

Yelp
Nice late evening place to catch a game have a beer and just relax. The service was laid back and what you want for a chill evening.

Yelp
Restaurant re-opened a few weeks ago and has always been a favorite. I would recommend staying away. Looks like new management has messed up the service. Food is okay but service is terribly slow. 55 minutes to get two slices yesterday when the restaurant was 25% full. I hear similar feedback from friends that have visited since re-opening. Wait staff and shift manager appears pretty clueless.

D'ana G.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised at how tasty the slices were. Fresh and super thin! Really great slices!

Yelp
Pretty cool pizza spot!!! While out with a friend, we decided to stop for pizza before heading back to Marietta. I yelped "pizza" and this place was around the corner from where we were kicking it. I'm more than sure we were not parked legally on the very narrow one way street (poplar street) but I parked there anyways. Lol, can't tow us all right? Being the designated driver I only ordered a beverage and a slice of pizza ( no beer for me :( ), the waitress suggested the loaded potato pizza, I promised her that I will try the next time and went ahead and selected the supreme. The slices were huge the toppings were fresh, but to be honest, I have had better. My friend only ordered a few beers which annoyed me ( we all should be eating-lol) I really like the ambience, very laid back feeling...dark, relaxing Will we return??? Yes, if only to people watch-some very interesting characters were headed to the bar next door. Lol .

Yelp
Ordered a small pizza with a water and mixed drink. The pizza was very good and came to the table without much of a wait. Never got the water and was never asked how everything was once I had the meal which was disappointing. They added several charges for my bill which made one drink and a small pizze come to $45!!!!!!! The person I asked said it is customary in Atlanta to add the tip to the bill. I do not live here but work downtown about a week a month and have never had any other restaurant add a tip to the bill. The tip seemed well over 20% and they did not deserve 20% as they never even asked if the meal was okay, didn't bring my water and weren't really that friendly. there were other "service fees" added to thebill as well. There was a left over bill from another customer at the next table and his bill did not have a tip added to the bill so I question the truth of the employee. Seriously. $45 for a small pizza and a drink? I left feeling taken advantage of and getting poor service to boot. In addition to adding the tip to the bill they STILL had a line for a tip which makes me think they want to trick or decieve the customers into double tipping. not nice. I paid about twice what I should have paid for a small pizza and a drink.

Yelp
Walking into slice was like walking into a living room of your pal who has a sweet bar, that single buddy with no kids and a great job! It's got a level of comfort you dont find often. In the ATL for work we stumbled upon slice. We didnt have a slice but the slices looked huge and delicious. I did have a couple of local beers and a delicious calzone with meatballs, green olives and artichoke hearts. The staff was cordial and seemed genuinely happy to be at work, which made it even more inviting on top of having a giant over stuffed couch as you walk in and a galaxia machine in the far corner. Like I said well off buddies living room vibe.. You know you found a good one when it's a tiny little joint on a back alley street but the doors are being blow off with carry out orders. I try to diversify my food and drink when in Atlanta but I do believe I would make a 2nd stop at slice. Well done, ya'll are killing it.
