Google
First time here and did not disappoint. The variety of pizza slices was amazing. The staff was friendly and patient, taking the time to explain each style of pizza that was available. The pizza was fresh, flavorful and a very big slice of pizza. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Stopped in for a Popeye Detroit style slice and a drink. Service was fast for lunch time and the options were great. Food was hot when served. Overall great experience.

Google
Wow! Huge slices. Outstanding flavor. Detroit style, grandma style, NY slices. Reminds me of a combination of some of my favorite pizza joints in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I ordered the Detroit style Sicilian. It was thick, fluffy and gooey. Plenty of marinara on it. Good flavor. I should’ve quit there. The BBQ chx looked so good I went back to order a second slice. They’re so big! My $17 meal was a bout to become $25. The flavor on the front side of the pie was sweet and tangy. It was def worth it. Until I got to closer to the crust. This NY slice was too thick, airy and doughy. I ended up eating half of it. If you like a thick crust that’s soft inside, maybe this is your bag. I kept the 5 star rating because I think this can be 5 star, pizza depending on what you order. Definitely good enough I will come back to try another flavor/style.

#### Google Review I highly recommend this place! The manager, Paul, and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, always making you feel welcome. The pizza is absolutely fantastic—perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients that make every bite a delight. You won't be disappointed!

Google
Great staff - horrible web experience. This is the second time that I have ordered online for pickup and the order was not received. Beware that guest orders that use Apple Pay do not go through. I was charged but no record of the order. The staff are lovely and sympathetic and explained they have issues with Apple Pay. I had a similar issue with a previous order. Not a good ordering experience, good food, expensive.

Google
Its a good place to quickly stop in and grab a slice. Generally generously sized slices and quality ingredients though a bit on the expensive side for some of the specialty pizzas. Some vegan options however its mostly meat focused. Has a great outdoor patio area with TV to watch games. Interior is a little on the smaller side and can feel a bit congested.

Yelp
Cleanliness: N/a - Takeout Service: 5 out of 5 Atmosphere: 5 out of 5 Food: 5 out of 5 Our order: DET Picante, Combo Americano Reflection: This was my second time ordering from Slice House, my first time ordering takeout, and my first time at the T.O location. I put my parents on this time and let's just say... my entire family has a new FAVORITE pizza spot! Keep doing what you're doing Tony! I want in on the action lol!

Yelp
A bit meh = ordered the medium size pizza with vegan cheese and mushrooms and a soda - my 94 year old dad was excited that they had Pepsi so that was a plus! Our guests ordered the ranch chicken gluten free pizza which is also the size of a dinner plate maybe and super duper thin. Our vegan cheese and mushroom was just not at all flavorful...couldn't taste the tomato sauce at all - and the vegan cheese was also bland - and the size is so small for the price... our medium pizza and soda came to $31. I had heard all these amazing things about the pizza here so I was just bummed that is didn't really deliver...

Yelp
I really like the concept here. A ton of different slices in a bunch of different styles: NY, Detroit, Sicilian, etc. Whether you like a thicker crust or a thinner, and whether or not your friends/family share your taste preferences, you can come here and find something that tickles your, and the rest of your party's, fancy. Everything is done well, but I wouldn't say it belongs on *everyone's* shortlist of pizza places to frequent. That said, it's 100% worth your time to try it out to see if it resonates with you. Service and surroundings don't add or detract from the experience. Order at the counter. Non offensive interior. Overall, it's not perfect; but don't sleep on it, either.

Yelp
Quick place for a slice or pizza! We got slices and enjoyed the traditional and wise guy. The plain cheese was not great, but we really liked the crust of the pizzas! Place was clean and you can sit inside or out. Lots of takeout. Tables were all 2 or 4 seaters.

Yelp
First time here since I was in the area for a play, decided to stop by in this place. Look at my pepperoni slice...notice anything? Half the slice no pepperonis... and for the price?? I got burned. The slices were ok since I didn't get pepperoni in every bite. They shouldn't give it like that. Service was eh. Would've given 0 stars, first you can't, but the pizza was ok or maybe I was just hungry. Update! I reached out and they send me a gift card, even though I don't live close by one, I'm gonna have to plan a trip around that area again or Burbank. But thank you to the owner for trying to make it better for a first time customer, or anyone really. It shows that this business cares. Love it!

Yelp
Excellent pizza. Tried a couple slices of New York style with pepperoni and it was quite delicious. Paul, the general manager, was top notch with customer service. Definitely had a pleasant experience and I would recommend to my friends.

Yelp
My husband had his eye on this place even before it opened, and tonight we finally got to try it--wow! It was amazing! Excellent service, a fantastic atmosphere, and a family-friendly menu with plenty of options for everyone. This will definitely be our go-to pizza spot!

Imo O.

Yelp
Slice House is just amazing. I can't even put it into words. When they say New York Style pizza, I seriously thought I was back in Manhattan getting a slice at the local corner place. It's seriously good! So good, I tried it and came back two days later for more. The staff is also super friendly and personable, shoutout to Brandon! They truly get to know you and I appreciate that! We got two NY style pizzas (Purple Potato and Pepperoni) and the Angeleno in Grandma's style! The NY slices were just perfection but the Grandma's style really stole the show! The crunch, the taste, it was so delicious! I definitely will be a regular at this place! Thank you Slice House!

Angela D.

Yelp
Still coming to this location and it's the best. Stopped in to get a slice and redeemed my free slice on the stamp card. Just found out that they swap out the stamp card and transitioned to the app. The app captures your rewards and when you sign up, you get $5.

Yelp
PAUL SAVED THE DAY. I showed up to pick up my order from slice House, meanwhile, a wildfire has just broken out in our area, and I'm trying to put together a somewhat normal birthday dinner for my husband. Well, turns out I must not have pressed submit or something, because I never got an order confirmation, And they didn't have my order because of my user error. Anyways, Paul took my order right there, pushed it to the front of the line, got me out of there in 15 minutes flat, and even threw in some chocolate gelato for my husband. He also saw that I was in my scrubs from work that day, and threw in a first responders discount. If we didn't have a counter between us, I would have given him the hugest hug! Can't even begin to thank you for turning around a really crazy day. Tonight I am toasting to Paul at Thousand Oaks Slice House!

Michelle C.

Yelp
Always a great and yummy experience here! Had the Burrata Queen- I wanted 10 but I kept myself at 1. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
We are being evacuated for the fires, and Slice House hooked us up with an awesome pizza! They're supporting the community and it's a super cool thing that they're doing for everybody by staying open during all this craziness. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Victor L.

Yelp
Cheese Slice today keeping it light. Delicious as expected. The sauce has great flavor and the dough has the proper amount of crunch. Well done!

PJ D.

Yelp
The meatballs are the best I've ever had next to my Italian grandmother. I am addicted and cannot order them from any other restaurant. They are comparable to none. I highly recommend them.

Yelp
This place definitely lives up to its name! Lots of creative and fun slices available and a good variety of styles like your thicker Detroit or Sicilian slices or your more thin, NY style slices, etc. The toppings are fresh and red sauces is delicious. You can also order whole pizzas/pies and they have salads, sandwiches, pasta, dessert, etc., but since I came here by myself, I was pretty set on getting some slices. The service acts more like a fast/casual in that you come in, wait in line to order and take a buzzer to a table. I ended up ordering slices of the Motorhead (Detroit style), The Angeleno, and a purple potato (thinner slice) with the idea that I would eat some right then and there and take the rest to go. The different pizzas were soooo good with the different flavors and textures all great to their respective style. The dough on the different styles were great too! I loved both the thicker Detroit style dough as well as the NY style. The space feels really new - which isn't a surprise since it opened within the last year. I've had this place on my list, but didn't do too much research because it's so far for me personally. As luck would have it, I was at a baby shower down the street! So I had to make a stop. It's a fun, lively vibe and the popularity is evident among the clientele. This particular spot felt like a fun neighborhood spot, but with the aesthetics and systems in place, it definitely feels like this was built to have large scalability capabilities in mind. Would love to come back and try more slices, but I think I may have to wait for the Burbank location (I think it's opening soon) as that will be much more convenient for me. PS: happy pi day!

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday around 12:30 pm. Parking was a little tight but luckily someone was pulling out as I was pulling in to the lot beside the restaurant. This restaurant has been on my mind ever since one of my coworkers gave me a NY slice, I think it was chicken barbecue style with thin slices of pineapple. That slice was absolutely delicious! Super thin crust and I loved how thin the pineapple was, also had great savory and sweet flavor. My boyfriend met for lunch here after I told him about it. The line was short but a good amount of people were already sitting and eating. There are a few tables inside the small restaurant but more tables on the bigger patio. The display has all the slices they have available for the day. We decided to each try one slice of chicken bacon ranch and one "square" of the grandma-style Angeleno. We got a pager for when our order was ready and sat outside on the patio. The pizza was ready in around 5 minutes and were steamy and piping hot when we picked them up. Inside they have red pepper flakes and Parmesan packets to take, I think oregano flakes, and some hot oil. The hot oil looked yummy and I think they sell the bottles but I didn't try any this time. First, the chicken bacon and ranch. A great slice of pizza with good flavors and textures. The chicken was soft and moist and the halved cherry tomatoes added a great burst of freshness! I liked the Angeleno even better because I love a savory/sweet combo! Super meaty with thin pepperoni and bacon but didn't feel like it was too much because of the most delicious rich red sauce, thin strips of basil, dollops of ricotta cheese, and honey. For some reason I can't find the Angeleno on their website to order or on the online menu but seeing other yelpers' pics of it seems like you can get slices of it in person. Each slice was around $6ish and 2 slices were extremely filling. Will 1 million percent come back because the pizza is so delicious, I'm still thinking about it!

Yelp
I've had good pizza before but Slice house is at the top of my list after today. I was blown away by the artisan pizzas on display as soon as you walk in. Their menus are displayed above the order area inside. I came here with my girlfriend around 12:30 for a quick fix of pie and was happy with how quick the overall ordering process was. The wait time for our slices was very short and the pizza came out crisp and steamy. We sat on their outside patio which had some sun breaking through and nice breeze, overall perfect conditions to go town on some epic slices. We both ate our Thin sliced Chicken Bacon Ranch. The CBR was a great blend of savory protein and zesty juicy tomato's spread across the slice. I think the cream and blend of cheeses made for a delicious bite. Scrumptious. Our experience with the Angelino though was the money maker for Slice House. The more thick crust is filled with meat and ricotta cheese and drizzled with honey. The savory sweet mix was very good. I liked the great complimenting cheese and sauce. It was a very consistent piece of pizza. We were so grateful for our corner pieces and amazing plates of food. The lunch with my girlfriend was a so great, we enjoyed our meal, the restaurant vibe/music selection, and friendly service. 100% recommend to anyone in the area!!

Yelp
Stopped in for a couple of slices this afternoon, and boy were we impressed. We got slices of Detroit style pizza. It was so much food, neither of us could finish our meal. The Motörhead was far and away our favorite. Be sure to try the hot pepper oil too, it's got a good kick. We bought a bottle for $13. The restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained. Sitting outside was comfortable. The general manager stopped by to check on how everyone was enjoying their meal and offered us suggestions for our next visit. Great spot! 5/5

Elyse M.

Yelp
Best pizza in Thousand Oaks. Their Detroit and Sicilian styles are really delicious. The only con is that they don't offer slices for all the flavors everyday. I can always find street parking out front, but there's also some parking in the back of the restaurant near the car wash.

Yelp
There are about 5 Italian restaurants we like/love. This is our favorite among the "not fancy" places to get pizza. I will be honest, the prices will make you *think* it must be fancy- this is the easily the priciest pizza we buy, so we sometimes try to wait for a DoorDash coupon or special occasion. BUT- and this is a big but- the food? Yeah: THAT ***TASTES*** fancy. Absolutely and overwhelmingly the whole family's favorite pizza (other than the ones my Bonus Son makes from scratch). Let me tell you: my boyfriend is born-in-the-Bronx who started in his life in the NY growing up with Italian parents, grandparents and cousins, and he graduated from high school in NJ. He KNOWS how Italian food and NY/NJ pizza should taste. His Italian parents owned a restaurant/bar, and he grew up eating homemade Italian food. Although he also likes a place in the valley called Tomato Pie, this pizza is by far his favorite in Ventura County. AND THERE ARE CHOICES for vegetarians!

Assaji A.

Yelp
Yes it has become a mega chain but the pizza is just good. I honestly cannot even finish 2 slices but they are too beautiful and delicious to turn down. If you get a large pizza to go, you can feed a small village. All the pizza is consistently good, and always a family favorite.

Laurie W.

Yelp
I recently became a huge fan of Tony's in SF so when I heard that they opened a casual spot nearby we had to check it out. They had so many different slice options available in different pizza styles. I chose the Detroit style Popeye. The cheesy crust was so delicious and the toppings were fresh. I was shocked with the portions. I felt like they were more than fair based on the price. I can't wait to back to try other slices.

cynthia g.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place for a while, it def was worth it- I ordered the grandma style Pizza TRADITIONAL Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Thick & Thin Cut Pepperoni & Italian Sausage It was so good and the sauce was phenomenal, We arrived for pickup and it's a cute spot with Italian vibes and service was good and pizza was ready to go, the sauces and utensils are available to grab In addition we got the arugula and bacon salad

Kirit S.

Yelp
We had hear this place has good pizza (recommended by family members visiting). We tried it. This location has limited indoor seating, and more patio seating. The decor is certainly welcoming, and the staff is quite helpful. I think the pizza is good, but not as amazing as Patxi's in Porter Ranch. I wouldn't mind coming back here, if in the area.

M X.

Yelp
Lost in Translation. This is "fake pizza," and I won't be back. Here's why: I hope the namesake Tony Gemignani reads this... I have no doubt that Tony G won an award for one of his pizzas at a competition. The problem though is that I'm sure on that day, at that specific competition, his dough probably consisted of water, salt and flour only... 3 ingredients. There was probably a day or two of fermentation going on to get that nice sourdough structure and flavor. I'd also presume that the ingredients on that day of that competition were far more Superior than what was replicated at this Slice House location. FYI, For commercial restaurant pizza reproduction, there are a lot of substitutes, and cutting corners. And I feel like trying to replicate or mimic that Exact award-winning pizza at the competition fell flat at this specific location. Here's the problem. The dough here at Slice House does not have structure. It's very crumbly, and I can tell by experience that there are a lot of additives, stabilizers and chemical conditioners which were incorporated into the dough here to try to give it structure, an airy rise and crispness. Also, the toppings here are definitely subpar. The cupping salami is definitely over-processed garbage, the spec was more like cheap scrapple from the mid west. What that means is that all that oil and grease penetrates into the dough while it's baking in the first couple minutes, and turns it into crisco. It's like deep frying your dough in a deep fat fryer. Tooooo oily and greasy. The most disappointing thing of all those was when I found out that they use an electric oven to bake the pizza. Seriously?! If you're going to charge me a premium price for an "award-winning pizza," I would expect a better dough with 3 to 4 ingredients, and at least have an open flame or a wood fired oven. When the pizza bakes in the oven, it should come together in one homogeneous unit. The sauce should meld with the cheese, and the toppings should become part of the entire pie. You just don't get that with an electric oven. Everything on the 3 pizzas I tried were seperate. What I also noticed was that the dough itself didn't have enough salt. There's no flavor in the dough, so you're relying on the toppings to penetrate down through the crust... And sadly, they don't. Everything is "good," or "the best you've had," until you've had better. Honestly, if you're a 16 year old kid who wants to spend $7 on a slice of pizza, this might be the place for you. But for touting yourself as an "award winner," Slice House was a disappointment. Don't believe me? Go to a place down the street like Freda's or Made in Italy half a mile away, and see, taste and feel the difference in the dough. See for yourself how an open flame or wood fired dough tastes and comes together with the sauce, cheese and toppings. Tony G., heart to heart, seriously, change your dough at Slice House to the way it was at the competition. Because I'm definitely not paying $$$$ for crisco, oily, greasy, tasteless pizza at Slice House again. Your staff is great though definitely keep them. The service was exceptional. I just didn't like the food.

Joshua T.

Yelp
Best pizza in LA. It's was super good. Worth an hour drive. Making me do 85 characters but that's all you need to know.

Ron R.

Yelp
*** Vegetarian Review *** Saw an ad while scrolling the Gram and it immediately caught my attention because of the vegetarian pepperoni. How to order the vegan pepperoni and save $3.71 1. Ask for a 20" cheese 2. Add vegan pepperoni. If you do it this way, you pay $40.26 The first time we asked for the vegan pepperoni, they charged us for a pepperoni pizza, sub vegan pepperoni. And they charged me $43.97. We ordered the New York style Beyond Pepperoni pizza. Has 6 generous slices so a great pizza to share. No cap - this was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Keep in mind, I've been a vegetarian for nearly 3 decades and before becoming a vegetarian, pepperoni pizza was my go to. So it's been a long time old friend! First, the grease. Give me more of that delicious flavor. The pepperoni itself had curled edges. Slices is definitely heavy handed with the portions so keep that up please! Loved this pizza! Coming from a college town, Davis has a pizza spot on almost every corner. But, nothing like this. Come on Davis, step your game up. Definitely putting this on the "must try" and "highly recommended" list for all my pizza loving friends and family. Gemilli with vodka cream sauce (no pancetta) - comes piping hot. Love the texture of this noodle and the flavors were great on its own, but complimented the pizza perfectly too. Bottom line - parking can be a little difficult, but double-park if you have to. Love the vibe here.

Alec C.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and have not been disappointed. Everything I've had so far has been great including the NY pizza, deep dish pizza, wings, Caesar salad, and meatballs. Will definitely return.

Chris D.

Yelp
This was my first time at Slice House. There has been huge hype about this Pizzeria so I had to try it. First off the decor was very cool and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Wise Guy Slices and they were very good. They tasted fresh and had decent flavor. To be honest I really need to try other types of their offerings. Would I drive an hour to visit again? Probably not, but if I'm in the area again I would definitely got back. I have some really great Pizza on the Westside so I'm kind of spoiled. If you're in the Thousand Oaks area I would definitely give Slice House a try.

Margo T.

Yelp
Best Pizza Anywhere! Not just in TO. Everyone is friendly, and the choices are endless! Wait times are quick to average, but completely acceptable. Our favorite is the Sicilian And my son LOVES the cheesy garlic bread. They do a large amount of takeout, but if you prefer eating in that is also a great option. The space is kind of small but clean, family friendly, and televises sports events. There is also an outdoor seating option which is pet friendly, and heated when it's chilly out. I definitely recommend the Slice House experience!

Robin W.

Yelp
Slice House is a worthy chain!! My hubby and I love Pizza Rock in LV and are thrilled that the Slice House gives us similar pizza options! We had a grandma style Drunken Italian slice to start, followed by a pizza Rosa with Sicilian crust and a Cal Italia with NY crust. Our favorite was the Rosa with a wonderful red sauce (we ordered extra sauce) and the Sicilian crust was also a hit because we liked the airy texture. The Cal Italia is their award winner and has a good sweet-salty flavor profile. The grandma crust was our least favorite because it was crisp but a little crunchy on the bottom. Tip- order a slice before you order a whole pizza to try out the crust style you like best. Ambiance is casual with both inside and outside patio dining - nothing like the multiple Pizza Ovens pumping out glorious pies with a full bar and great wine selection in LV! If you're thinking a nice beer or glass of lovely red wine to complement your pizza- plan to take your pizza to go. Slice House has a limited selection of adult beverages in the cooler case -meaning wine will be in a single serve bottle - chilled -and you'll only have access to a plastic cup. So disappointing! As far as service- it's a grab and go kind of place. The first server who took our order and answered some questions was great and knowledgeable. When the second shift came in, the servers were young and didn't look jazzed to be there and they had little knowledge of the pizza selections. Staff is definitely not up to Pizza Rock standards but this is more of a take-out place. I would definitely recommend for a good pizza!

Mark W.

Yelp
I drove almost 20 minutes to this location, specifically on a Thursday for their "red top," pizza slices and they couldn't sell me a single piece of pizza because their "wifi is down." They wouldn't accept cash either. The employee at the counter offered nothing for the inconvenience, basically just said to leave. You would think a chain this big and successful would have something resembling customer service in a situation like this. Very disappointing...

Alan C.

Yelp
Love the pizza here. So many choices of great pizza's. Something for everyone! Excellent and friendly customer service. Searing can be right depending on the time you choose to visit, dinner time is quite busy and it may be difficult to find a place to sit, but there are tables inside and out and takeout is another option which is quick and convenient if you order ahead. The pizza's are huge. We had the 20 inch cheese pizza. I know, boring, right? But I love plain cheese pizza. It's a little expensive for pizza, but the portions are large and make up for that. It's not so loud that you can't talk but it is moderately loud again depending on the time and the amount of customers.

Lance L.

Yelp
Pizza joints nowadays are a dime a dozen. And.... I. FREAKIN. LOVE. IT. Here is why. As new pizza places come to town, often times that pizza place might claim that they have the best pies, and/or that their crust is better than the next guys. It may sound something like this... (In my best New York accent) "Gino's pizzeria in South Bronx has the best pies this side of Naples and If you don't believe me, I'll break your fuc..." Fuhgeddaboudit!! Other times, it's the word of mouth from the locals that generates all the buzz & hype. It probably sounds something like this... "Oh my gawd Susie, did you hear about Giovanni's Pizza Mozza coming to town? Their original location is in Downtown Detroit and it's hands down the best pizza I've ever had". Side Note: Susie is not real. Giovanni's Pizza Mozza is not real. & as Creed Bratton from the Office would say, "You're not real man." And sometimes the battle of being the Best Pie has EVERYTHING to do with what style of pizza is being served. Regionally, here is typically how it goes: -New Yorkers want their pies big, thin, and simple. (Basically a huge slice with loads of gooey cheese that you can fold in half and make into a taco) (Don't You dare ask for Pineapple) -The people of Chicago have their own style: Thick & Deep. (I've yet to go to Chi town, but it's on my radar) -Detroit: why be a circle, when you can be a Square! (This style is life changing!) Neapolitan or Sicilian: I mean c'mon, Any pizza from the Motherland is a no brainer. ------------------------------------------------- With All that being said.... Welcome to the SLICE HOUSE 1000 Oaks! Being the Best is Subjective... but being amongst the Best is definitely Objective! And that's just what Chef Tony Gemignami is all about. Chef Tony has a laundry list of various restaurants & pizza places that are making headlines and winning tons of awards. A short list includes, but is not limited to: -Tony's Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco -Pizza Rock's (in Vegas & CA) -Little Tony's (Vegas) -Tony's of North Beach (CA) And of course multiple Slice House locations including Thousand Oaks, CA. Chef Tony has won countless awards, and a lot of them are 1st Place. As of 2023, the Top 100 Pizzerias in the world are ranked and Chef Tony's Pizza Napoletana was #19 (in the Top 20) which proves he and his restaurants that fall under his name are Amongst the Best! What is crazy, but not surprising to me is... FORTY ONE of the One Hundred are pizza places that are from you guessed it... Italy!!! Word of Mouth: When Slice House first arrived in Thousand Oaks, I heard the buzz from friends, and even on social media, thus what made me want to come here. Pizza Styles: What I love about Slice House is their options, not only in regards to their toppings, but in regards to the styles of pizza they serve. -You want a Slice Of New York? Hello from the Big Apple! -Wanna "Lose Yourself Like Eminem"? Welcome to Detroit! -Missing your Own Grandma? Come try a slice of their "Grandma" -Need an offer from the Godfather you can't refuse? Half Sheet of Sicilian comin' up! Point is... Slice House has everything going for them to prove why they can hold their own amongst some of the best. The space at this location is tight, lines can be long, but I assure you its worth the wait. The day we went, we had a Cheesy Slice of New York, A Traditional Sicilian and the "Wise Guy" (Slice Sauce, Avorio Mozzarella, Spicy Sausage, Pepperoni, Ricotta, Green Onion, Tony's Chili Oil, Green Onion Again!! Oregano, Romano and Garlic Olive Oil)... Not sure if the Green Onion listed on there menu twice is on accident or its the Wise Guy (me) who pointed it out. ;) So, now that you read my 30 minute review...I know you're probably dying for some pizza. Come see for yourself why the Slice House 1000 Oaks is the talk of the town.

Yelp
Slice House is POPPIN! Anytime I drive by I see this place packed for lunch and dinner, after visiting now I know why. Their slices are large, creative, and delicious, and the atmosphere is awesome. I love that they have an indoor and outdoor TV, craft beer, and a lively vibe. The staff is friendly and attentive and service is pretty good for how busy they are. You'll often see the owner walking around table to table just chatting to customers. We wanted to try both the NY-style pizza and the Detroit-style pizza. For the NY-style, we ordered the purple potato and this one was definitely my favorite. The combination of thinly sliced potatoes with bacon and feta topped off with a pesto swirl really outshined the others. We also ordered the Hot Honey and loved the heat and sweetness of it. For the Detriot-style pizza, we ordered the Motorhead and Wise Guy. While I'm typically not a huge fan of Detroit-style pizza, the crust and fluffiness of both of these were really good. Overall I'll definitely recommend to pizza lovers and will be back again to try other items on the menu!

Yelp
First time bringing in last night. We ordered a half and half which was excellent. Half was Spicy Pepperoni which was good bit super spicy. Next time, and there will be a next time, will order regular Pepperoni ! Definitely reccomend.

Yelp
Solid pizza establishment The NY PIZZA is close to the real thing but not dead on but.. good enough. Fast good service. Eat outside weather permitting . Not cheap... but if you have the dough, go for it

Yelp
We came to this restaurant on a weekend. They do have parking in the back however, it is very limited. We ordered a few slices, it was ok not great. I will try back again soon to see if it's gotten any better before I pass on this restaurant.

Yelp
Gotta come at the right time cause it can get packed. With good reason they have some good pizza here. Generally everything comes out quick and piping hot. I generally go with the New York and one Sicilian. Both are great. The New York is a little too fluffy to be a proper New York but it's tasty. Especially with some crushed red pepper and hot oil. Parking is a bit of a pain as they only I've like 5 or 6 spots they share with the Mexican restaurant. Best luck is street parking. Sitting on the patio is nice for some people watching and crazy people driving haha.

Yelp
Went their opening week. I was not expecting much, but I was blown away, by the level of food, options in the level of service that they put in into making this Slice House Thousand Oaks happen A perfect marriage of modern and comforting, rustic atmosphere, that the city really needs. There is a lot of options for pizza so there's definitely a slice for everyone. I love the Angeleno. It was just fluffy and crispy and everything I wanted in a pizza. No surprise why it won awards. I also love their hot honey. That Arriabiata pasta was so good. And of course there's no Italian meal complete without a dessert which in my case was the chocolate cookie with sea salt flakes on top Above all, what really took me by surprise is the restaurants level of warmth. It is family owned, and operate aid, so you see the same people during visits and it's very reminiscing of that coastal community love. It is family owned and operated and you can see that their logistics just flow like butter. And while parking may be a little challenging it's really out of their control, so I just find a spot in the neighborhood and take a leisurely walk while deciding what pizza to get .

Yelp
The food here is phenomenal! Plus, all of the choices are very tempting and affordable. Combos are recommended if it's your 1st time there. The Service is on point and everybody gets their order right the first time with fresh pizza and salad combos around 10$. Ambience is loud but the music selection keeps it up beat and everyone is respectful to each others spaces and courteous. The manager served us with a smile and my party also ordered different styles of pizza to try other options To-Go! MILITARY/1st Responder Discount as well!!!

Yelp
I was recently invited to a Yelp event held at Slice House where I thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and the concept. I returned last night to have dinner with my daughter on my birthday. We ordered a whole Detroit made "Roma Style" as well as a couple Enegren Light Lagers. The pizza was as good as the last time. My daughter really liked it as well. I think it's worth mentioning that the pizza is made with high quality cheeses that have a higher fat content. Expect some oil to drip onto your plate. It's pizza after all. Vinny stopped by to say hi and upon learning it was my birthday hooked us up with some spumoni. It was also delicious. We talked for a few minutes about the food and I showed him some 2011 grips from the John Wick pistols I've been working on. I'm happy to see a restaurant owned and run by good people doing so well.

Yelp
I always say WAIT for a restaurant to be open at least 6 months to iron out its kinks (and to let the popularity and crowds die down). Did I listen to myself with SLICE HOUSE, though? NO !!! We went anyway (after 2.5 months). The crowds were out the door, they couldn't manage all the people, and of course, our to-go order was slightly amiss. I had paid for (but never received) a side of extra marinara for the pizza. Ironically, I'm the one who wants very little pizza sauce, but something told me that with the extra dough from ordering Sicilian style, I'd be wanting more sauce.... and I did. But it was missing from our order. The pizza had really good flavor, BUT even though there looked to be a decent amount of toppings, there really wasn't, given the amount and thickness of the dough. The ratio was off (for my liking). Tasted good, but I would've liked even more flavor of each ingredient..... pepperoni, sausage, cheese, pizza sauce (yeh, even for me), onions and red bell pepper. Perhaps the thing to do is order a different "style" of pizza next time. They offer four styles: Sicilian, New York style, Grandma, and Detroit. After that, they have a long list of flavor toppings and combinations of toppings, most of which didn't interest me to be honest, but we selected the "Little Italy" pizza - Sicilian style. They have a wide array of other items one could order if pizza isn't desired, such as sub sandwiches, a few pasta dishes, and 2-3 salads. We ordered a Caesar salad to go with our pizza. While they did give us extra on the dressing, which I had asked for, it was barely enough to cover the amount of lettuce provided. I still would've liked more, but we got by. The dressing was quite good, so for sure, I'd order even more next time. I only awarded three stars for our first time there. There were some misses or issues that, if they improve on, or if we can change our order enough to eradicate our issues, then the stars will obviously increase. But for now, it remains at 3 stars.

Yelp
We tried the Grandma Sweet Gino and the crust was amazing. To top it off Devon added great customer service.

Yelp
"How do I love thee...Let me count the ways..." Cheese, sauce, perfect crust and spices that's how!!! This place had me at "NY cheese Pizza," thanks to a recent event I went to. I could not stop thinking about the deliciousness of their pizza!!!! I am not that close to this location but found an excuse to go back this past weekend. Now opened for only 7 weeks, this family owned & run pizzeria has a constant flow of customers. The combination of cheese, sauce and spices will have you drooling at every bite!!!! Tony Gemignani, opened Tony's Pizza Napoletana in 2009, and started his franchise "Slice House" in 2010. Thanks to the owners of this location, a little piece of Pizza Heaven has headed to Southern California! Being born & raised in New York, I am a "pizza snob!" This is now my "all time" favorite pizza place in CA!!! I can not say enough about it! This location has covered seating out front with a huge tv screen to watch sports and a few tables inside. Great for families, kids and anyone who loves pizza! *Plenty of free street parking. A few spaces are available in the lot next to a he cat wash. *Sicilian, Grandma, Detroit, & NY style pizzas are available for take out or to eat in. *Gluten Free and Vegan options available* *The staff is so friendly. Great service! *I can not say enough about the family: Vinny, Catherine, Michael & Cindy, they make you feel welcomed and at home. Thor the general manager also fabulous. ***I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a slice!!!! ****Simi Valley Location due to open in February 2024.

Yelp
This was a return trip to try out other menu items. Previous experience was great! Hoping repeat would do the same. The house has special for extra large pizza with cookies & meatballs. So we settled with extra large pepperoni pizza. Just in case not enough for three of us, we ordered another Detroit style bacon, potato pizza. The special pizza was HUGE, 20+" pizza. To my surprised, the cook was a little heavy on salt today. It was greasy but tasty. See how large the extra pizza was - see the pix... which was taken inside Tesla & the box filled the passenger side cabin.

Yelp
First and foremost I love pizza absolutely love, pizza...So when I heard about Slice House, I knew I had try it! Having eaten New York style pizza in New York, I can say that nothing is quite as authentic as the New York pizza experience itself . However, Slice House came pretty close to capturing that magic. From the moment I walked in, the staff was not only incredibly friendly, but they also had a great sense of humor, making my visit all the more enjoyable. They even shared exciting news about upcoming locations closer to me, which made me even more eager to return. I decided to go for the classic New York style pizza. I can definitely say they nailed the crust. The perfect crisp, and it wasn't soggy. The pepperoni was generously portioned, making each bite a true delight. Although I only tried the New York style pizza this time, I plan to come back to try their Detroit style and Sicilian options in the near future!

Yelp
After seeing Slice House land a spot in LA Times' recent recommendations I had to try it! They offer NY, Detroit, Sicilian, and Grandma style in all of their creations. Huge menu! We got the Detroit with feta and peppers. The dough was reaaaally good! Prob my fave part. I only wish there were more of the toppings put on. There were just a few slices of peppers, I ended up adding more stuff on it at home.
