Slice House

Very bright and spacious. Plenty of tables to sit comfortably. Young woman greeted us immediately as we walked in and had a beautiful smile the entire time. Friendly and helpful. Sat down just a few minutes are our slices were out. Great variety to choose from. Best slice was the burrata slice. It was oozing with cheese and the sauce and fresh cherry tomatoes are amazing. The pie is rolled out a bit too thin for my liking so when you try to bend the slice to bite into it….. it kind of falls apart and I like my slice to hold up a bit more. The vodka sauce is a bit sweet for my taste buds but it is still a great bite. Overall the slices are good and the flavors hit but I would recommend a bit of a thicker crust. Will be back again to try some other stuff.

Have been in South Jersey for two years now and I am always on a mission to find the best pizzas in the area. When it comes to pizza by the slice, which is to me the best way to eat most pizzas, this place is among the two best places between Brick and Ocean City to have a slice. They have a huge variety of all kinds of pies, all looking fresh and not looking like they have been sitting all day, fresh made pies are constantly being put out. I enjoyed everything about their regular, Sicilian, Grand Ma and pepperoni with hot honey on a thin crust. Wonderful, friendly service and a full menu of heroes and Italian specialties. Will be back again soon!!

I picked up from take out, employee was very nice and my food was hot and ready for me to eat. I ordered the Spring Belly (Pan Pizza) Ricotta Cheese, Bacon, Pepperoni Cups, Scallions, Hot Honey. Absolutely loved this pizza, tastes really good and the crust was nice and crunchy. Definitely a pizza that you share with others. I will definitely be back for more pizza!!!

Ordered the Diablo pie for pickup. Really good pizza! And the woman on the phone when we called to order was super nice. We will be back!

Diablo lunch pie. Toppings were spot on sauce was good. Crust reminded me of ‘back in the day’ making a bisquick pizza crust from a box mix. Not a traditional pizza crust which is why I gave it 3🌟! Also cost me $18. For a very small personal size pie!! Which I would pay happily if it was exceptional. But sadly no, Toms River reviewers did me wrong. Pizza is not just about the toppings. The crust is what carries it. This missed the mark. Had it been $7 it would have been well worth it. But I will repeat. Toppings (including the fresh basil)and sauce were at least a 4.5. Crust was a def 2 maybe 2.5. Sorry Slice House. Just not my kind of pizza. Oh and girl behind counter was sweet and helpful. Place looked clean and neat.

Pizza was excellent. Got the spring belly and didn't really have a complaint at all. Fantastic pie if you're on the area

Yum!!! We’re expanding our pizza world and have found a great addition in Tom’s River - the Slice House. Housed in a nondescript side of the road mall, inside is a world of delicious food and very nice people! The Diablo Pepperoni was outstanding and the Marguerite was really fresh and tasty. Check out their daily specials and their menu is extensive and varied. A gentleman was having pasta at a nearby table and looked very pleased with his meal! We took zeppoles home for desert. The restaurant is accessible and very welcoming. Plenty of parking.

Been there twice. Menu is huge and they have specials as well. 1st time I went in got some slices and a burger. Slices were great and crispy. Burger was awesome. Second time I ordered a whole pie(wasn't thrilled with it, was very soggy with no crisp) garlic knots(were absolutely huge and looked amazing, but taste wise was very disappointed). Chicken tortellini soup(didn't try is but my mom said it was very good).

Heard great things about the Slice House. Decided to give them a shot on our way into town. Despite being only 30min till closing time, they had a good selection of pizza slices. We tried the Grandma Thin Square with pepperoni cups, fresh basil, and hot honey. Also did the burrata cheese, hot honey, and vodka sauce with sesame seed crust. Not sure how long these slices were hanging around but they heated up moist and delicious. Place is cute, clean and very functional for dining in. Service at the counter was polite and friendly. Can't wait to come back and try a fresh pie.

Bright, clean and busy describes this plaza-bound pizzeria with a small dining area. The staff clearly is busy (Saturday afternoon)). As noted elsewhere, there are lots of slice options for those walking in. We ordered the "Gold Pesto" pie and a side salad. Opening the box was a delight! This pizza looks and smells awesome!! The first bite verified what we were looking at and smelling. This is one very good pizza!! Now, the menu says the side salad comes with Ranch dressing suggested so we assumed it would come with Ranch but not comes with Italian. Some menu clarification is needed but definitely a nice mix of greens that were cool and crisp. Very happy with tonight's decision.

Great pizza options and extremely friendly staff. Take out was complete fast and hot. Will definitely be back.

I heard about this place from someone and I've been passing it since I moved here 2 months ago. Yesterday I had a doctors appointment close by and on my way to the gym I was looking for it and sure enough it was on my way. I pulled in and there was no parking. Apparently a bunch of law-enforcement decided to eat there right at the time I was going there. Thanks for your service! The young woman at the counter was very nice and very helpful. I was looking at all the specialty pies, but I wanted to keep it light. I've been trying to sample different pizzerias around the area to test their plain Neapolitan slice in comparison. I ordered a slice and ate it standing up while admiring all the delicious looking specialty pies that look like works of art. I'm sorry, but I can't recall what they were called, but I will definitely be back. The place has a very friendly atmosphere, I believe the owner was describing some of the pies to me. The plane slice itself was OK. The crust, taste and texture were all good. It was a little runny and a little loose towards the point otherwise though it would stack up to most plain slices anywhere, but I will definitely be back.

This place has awesome NY pizza and friendly service! Pizza crust is thin and everything tastes very fresh! There is a full lunch and dinner menu or you can order pizza by the slice. Plain slices are about $2 each and specialty slices are $4.15. I had both the plain cheese and diablo (pepperoni with hot honey) and they are delicious! Their Diablo has converted me to hot honey pizza! I want hot honey on all my pizza now! Slice House is a great spot to grab a quick bite! Wish I had come back to try their other pizzas before I left town.

Good food. Caesar salad was yummy. Love the garlic knots. Subs are delicious. Easy ordering and ready on time.

Had a NY style pan pie with pepperoni (I love that they give you a choice between "regular" pepperoni and the cup-style; there is obviously only one right answer to that...) Just an excellent pizza. The flavors were just right on point, both for the sauce, cheese, and crust. It seems like they might sprinkle some parmesan on the edges and brush with butter before baking? If that's the case, it works great... Overall a 9/10 pizza; they only thing that could've brought it to a perfect 10/10 was if the crust in the center of the pizza had just a bit more crisp.

We had the burrata slice. Oh my God! Literally THE best pizza I've ever had in about 40 years. I talked to the owner and told him that the pizza blew me away. Got a few other slices to go to try them out. We also got some zeppole's to go. Those were so freaking fresh and so delicious. We are only going to this place for pizza for now on.

Moved to Toms River in the Fall 2024 & Slice House became my "Go To" place for consistently delicious pizza. I have tried others in the area and none have come close. When eating in at their shop, the service da been great! Highly Recommend!

Since moving to South Jersey, we have found so many great restaurants overall as well as no complaints on pizza till now.............. What a waste of $$, as sometimes you just want to stick to what you know and not take the risk of disappointment, but we decided to try a different pizzeria each month for our first year here. We are on #8 but maybe after this experience it`s time to stop. Bottom line and best part, were the girls on the phone were lovely. We ordered "A Special" (Pepperoni, Sausage, Red Onion, Peppers & Mushroom) we usually love that, although normally we would rather Kalamata Olives than the Mushrooms, but we didn`t want to ask for anything different, let's not take the chance. We also ordered a Cold Antipasto & 6 Zeppolis, but let's just talk Pizza & move on. We knew opening the box it wasn`t going to be good, as the crust had that undercooked look. There was no ( and I hate using the word) BURNT spots, let alone any of the beautiful bubbles to be found. What we found was a undercooked loaded pizza, that once we attempted to pick up, all the toppings fell right off, and our finger went right through the crust, SERIOUSLY. Normally after we order we eat a slice or 2 each and wrap the rest, 2 slices for the fridge (makes a great breakfast the next day) and the rest in the freezer. This one was sadly thrown out!!!!

We are big fans of this place. This is the best and freshest slice counter I've experienced in the whole area. The smash burger can be easily missed on the menu.. do not make that mistake. This burger is right up there with Burger 25 for my locals! Super fresh, great portion nestled between a toasted potato bun. Make sure you try the home made honey mustard as well!

We love the drunken grandma pie! It's a Vodka sauce pie that's to die for! So glad we found this place!

Glad I came across them. Wasn't sure what I was in the mood for so got a variety. Glad I did. Fresh out the oven, the vodka sauce one was so good. Buffalo is always high on my lists. The one with tomato was amazing then and the best one the day after.

They have such a great selection of pizza and I love that you can get it by the slice! My favorite was the white pizza! We also got the drunken Sicilian which was good too, very cheesy! I wish the buffalo chicken had a bit more saucyness to it, but the flavor was good. I do have to give a shoutout to their boneless wings because they were the best I've had in a while!

2nd time here and the food is so good. Tonight felt like a salad night and the Cobb with added grilled chicken hit the spot! The staff is also so nice

I had this place on my radar for almost a year. It's about 45 minutes away and was well worth the ride! Their NY Style Pan Pie with added pepperoni cups was outstanding. I also really wanted to try their Diablo Pan Pie. The owner actually heard me talking about it and gave me a fresh slice on the house - it was without a doubt one of the best slices I've ever had - and I consider myself a pizza snob. Everything about it was absolutely delicious... their bone in wings are also top notch. I would probably drive back just for those. I can't wait to go back and try some more of their pies. They have a really vast array. The staff was also very friendly. You should run to try this place!

Food is good I ordered eggplant parm it was bitter.which I have gotten there before with no complaints. I called the restaurant made it right with no hassles the redelivered the food quickly I have eaten there before would recommend them anytime

We asked if they could do a tomato pie lol I think the girl was a little confused as to what a tomato pie was , but the pizza was still very very good. Will definitely be back.

Just had the Diablo pizza and it was excellent - spicy for sure but super tasty. We've never tried hot honey before, and oh boy it is definitely a treat. Who knew? We also ordered the rice balls, which were perfectly crunchy on the outside and proper consistency on inside. My only small critique is that it was a little heavy handed on the basil, but if you're a fan of pesto, you'll love them. Picked up our order, which was ready exactly on time and appreciated. We will absolutely return, especially to try other variations as their crust is fantastic. We are picky about pizza and these people know what they're doing.

Another great Sicilian Pie from these place. This time with meatballs also their subs are off the chain. If you haven't been there you don't know what you're missing.

first customer service is horrible. They have an attitude after I asked if they had anchovies and they said no and for a slice of pepperoni have any ready and wanna wait you know you don't wanna pizzeria are you just shut your door

Stopped in while in the area after reading the great reviews & SO GLAD I did. Had a thin square slice with pepperoni cups and hot honey that was AMAZING!!!!!!!! Also had The Chop salad with grilled chicken (add on) and it was HUGE!!!! I also liked that they give you more than enough dressing but its on the side (without asking) as you can add as much of it as you want. Will DEFINITELY come back when local again for sure!!!

Had the Mikes Square. Was good but the pepperoni n mushrooms were just slung on top like was rushed process. Seems like they could save money by taking a few seconds to properly place toppings.

I am obsessed with this place hands down they have the best wings in town. I love the classics and the new trendy slices they make very delicious! I just don't know how they make everything so affordable? Service is always on point and the ambiance is always welcoming and clean. Wether it's game day wings or pie you can't go wrong try them out today!

This might be our new pizza place! Went today for lunch. We got a Diablo slice, Buffalo Chicken, and Sweet Chili.. all 3 were amazing but the stand out was the Diablo slice with the hot honey. We also ordered Teriyaki Garlic wings and a Buffalo Chicken wrap which were amazing as well. The only thing better than the food was the service. We talked in and were greeted by everyone. Its refreshing going into a place and you feel like everyone wants to be there. My wife has a severe allergy and they were beyond accommodating and extremely nice about it. Love this place!! Cannot wait to go back!!

Super Bowl Sunday and they let me order in advance. I ordered a large pie two dozen wings and a Cobb salad. I've never ever had a problem here and after today it seems I never will. Whatever the Slice House is doing they're doing it right. From the girl who answers the phone to the guy who delivers the food everyone is top-notch on time polite, respectful. And we have since visited, since our first review and the food, and service was just as good indoors as it has been out

This is become our new favorite place. The Diablo pizza is out of sight very friendly staff. We always get it to go but the place looks very clean. I like the way they make the pizzas. Well done you don't have to coach him highly recommended.

I had the Baked Ziti dinner and it was excellent. I ordered a side of meatballs and got 4 large very good balls in excellent sauce. This is THE place to go. If you haven't tried it treat yourself.

Welcome to Slice House! This pizzeria has only been open for four months, but I can see that it will last a long time. First of all, I am a sauce girl. If your pizza sauce isn't good, I don't care what else you put on it. However, this sauce was excellent. I'm pretty sure I could eat it with a spoon if the opportunity was presented. This place is owned by two brothers and they are rocking the pizza world. They use crumbled sausage, which is the only way sausage should be on a pizza in my opinion. But can we please talk about the Burrata slice? Possibly one of the best slices I have ever had. It has tomato sauce, burrata, cherry, tomatoes & sweet roasted garlic. We asked them to drizzle balsamic glaze on top, and it was delicious! They had Zeppole filled with cannoli cream and with Nutella. We had already picked up dessert before going there so I didn't get to try them, but I would be willing to drive an hour back there so that I can get another burrata slice and try those zepolle. Now let's talk about the people. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. They had some unique slice combinations and they were happy to explain them all. They had a spacious dining area, and it was immaculately clean. I had to make sure it really passed the cleanliness test, so I used their bathroom. Even there, no complaints. We took our food to go, but I definitely would have no problem eating there. Come, give this place a try!

I'm a new customer to Slice House. Wow!!! I will definitely be ordering again. My first order was take-out. I waited while my Special pizza was being made. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Everyone was very friendly. The dining room was clean and smelled clean. The pizza ... DELICIOUS! Tonight, I did my first online order for delivery. I screwed up and had to call to give my address. Again, a very friendly young woman took care of it. I ordered the Jersey Steak Wrap and a Large Cheesesteak. You wouldn't believe the amount of steak on each. We'll be enjoying this food again tomorrow. The order came quickly, but I did order around 3:45, and it was HOT. I wasn't expecting either. I feel very confident recommending Slice House Toms River. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Good Pizza w sausage on time pickup. That's simple but often doesnt happen. I would try other items.

Just tried this place got a thin crust pie 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 Broccoli rabe it was loaded No skimping here! so delicious We moved here 7 years ago and the only thing we missed about up north was the pizza! Not anymore!

People are nice and helpful & it is clean as well. Which that being said the pizza has good taste just needs more crunch on bottom had to put each slice on a pan at home to crisp bottom (lived in nyc & Philly so had great pizza) Now Stromboli was a no for me because it's definitely not like a Philly one, the dough is too soft on outside I'm used to a crunch/ crispy outside way too much cheese & they put sauce on side? Maybe that's a jersey thing idk. Steak wasn't a Philly type cut or flavor. Overall better than other places in NJ but ehh. Very expensive & then all the negatives.

Great pizza, been doing a pizza crawl thru nj for the best pizza. The slice house is definitely in the top three. Great crust, little chewy but crazy, topping are great. Great service We will be back.

Worst pizza I've ever had. Dough was tasteless and dry. Cheese no Flavor. Expensive too. Will never be back.

It's a new place, so we gave it a try. The pizza was terrible. Burned on the edges, but sloppy in the center. The crust was doughy and chewy as if the dough didn't rise. Not worth it for the high price. It was a disappointment so we won't be ordering from them again.

Best Pizza Around!! You have to try the Diablo Pizza and The Garlic Parm Wings!! These two items are to die for.. Everything I have tried has just been AMAZING! I work in Toms River and they do deliver to us which is great because we are a tad bit done 37! Even picking up from them is pleasant and everyone is always so nice! One day I had a huge order and they kindly helped me out to my car.. not many people do that these days and it was refreshing.. It's a must go place if you haven't been already!

Service was good, NY pan pizza flavor was on the money. The problem is the pie was so overcooked and blackened that the crust was not edible. I usually order my pies crispy however, I have never had their pie. So I never mentioned crispy, it was burnt.

Excellent Sicilian pizza. Huge. Enjoyed all the veggies with sausage with sausage and pepperonis. Salad good too.

I highly recommend Slice House!!! We have had a variety of things off the menu and everything was so delicious. The salads are fresh and flavorful. The pan pizza is crispy, the sauce is fresh and flavorful with ample amount of toppings of your choice. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you haven't tried Slice House I recommend you do as soon as possible.

Finally a good local pizza joint in the Tom's River area. Their slices are cooked to perfection right down to the crust. All the ingredients are fresh. This will be our go- to pizza place from now on.

I got a flyer in the mail for this pizza joint. I ordered a Sicilian pie over the phone, they told me they were a little busy and there would be a 40 minute wait. It was done before the 40 minutes and the pie was solid! and not greasy. I didn't eat inside, however the interior was decorated well. Staff was very kind when I arrived. Overall, I would recommend Slice House

Really good! Not the typical pizzeria that you find on every corner. Different varieties, delicious creations! Place is clean which makes me feel good about where my food is coming from. Highly recommend!

Dough had no taste and chewy. Asked for pizza crispy and was burnt underneath. Pizza was a 6 at best
