Customer service is always good, We order here all the time. Pizza is delicious and cooked the way we request. We get it cut into extra slices. We ordered the Dill Pickle pizza and Pepperoni with old world pepperoni and it was delicious.

OMG rarely does the food marketing fit the product so perfectly. The first bite took me back to the 90’s, since I was born in the 90’s. Amazing 🤩 pizza 🍕 clearly quality and prices are justified! I recommend this to anyone that wants to go back in time and recount fond memories. Wow wow wow, atmosphere and delivery hands down from L.A. This pizza deserves to be in the Hall of Fame!

Online ordering is easy, delivery guys are always so nice and polite. Never had a problem with them. Food always came hot, my order was always right. Been with them for years. Love em!! We had the Radical, Cheesy bread and Mushrooms!!!! Oh and try the beer cheese!!

Food is always 10/10. Staff is really friendly. Food is hot for pickup. Deals are good too. Really nice atmosphere inside. Definitely go to pizza!!

Ordered 2 large pizzas one with pep and one with ham and I had the 25% off text coupon from their site and they were able to apply it to my order once I was picking up

Pizza was super fresh and piping hot! The cinnamon bread was the perfect dessert - not too sweet and loved the fun icing colors. Ordered online and it was ready quick. Will definitely be back soon.

Definitely worth the trip we live about 35 min away but was so worth it the pizza was cooked perfectly loaded with toppings and we got a huge pretzel which was also amazing

Today was my second time trying your pizza. Both this and the first are exceptionally good. Real, fresh vegetables and high quality meats along with tasty sauce and cheese has made your pizza my favorite in the metro area! The garlic butter Parmesan sprinkled generously on the crust at my request adds even more flavor! Your crust is the perfect thickness and baked just right both times! I'll be back!

Another tanking Michigan food establishment. Like so many others, Slice of the 80's capped at around a 3/5 for me back during its height. The pizza was greasy. I mean really greasy. Like, dripping down your hand and arm greasy. It was also mostly flavorless, save for some of their specialty pizzas. Not worth getting, but not actively bad. Were slices back in the 80s this bad? Only a DeLorean can tell. Despite this, the breads were hellacious. Their nacho cheese bread with jalapeños and cajun bread were my go-tos. The appetizers used to be varied and also worth getting, but the cinnamon bread and wings were a no go. You came for the good and left the bad. Now, the quality has taken a nosedive. What was once at least worth the stop - even that super greasy pizza - is now no longer appetizing or something I can bear to spend money on or consume. It's not the worst, but something in my gut tells me to stay away. Maybe it's the staff, who now all give me the heebie-jeebies. Maybe it's the menu, and the fact it's been diminished to a third of what it once was. Maybe it's the cool little extras, all those 80s themed items you could buy, that once littered the counter, and are no longer available. Maybe it's that this place was always a bogus pizza joint that was all about the theming but at least made some effort before. If you're craving incredible pizza, this place is a must! The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, the sauce had just the right balance of tang and sweetness, and the toppings were fresh and generous.

Hands down our favorite place to get pizza. The best old world pepperoni around town!

My husband and I just ordered the kicken chicken and the Gnarly by far the best pizza out there we love the slice of the 80s been a loyal customer for over 10 years now!

We ordered pizza and wings and both were fabulous! Crust was buttery, garlicky, and cooked perfectly. The toppings were generous and delicious. The wings were good size and crispy. Delivery was fast. We will definitely order again!

I really wanted to like the pizzas, but they were just way too overcooked for my likings. I ordered two as seen in the picture and they both had that burnt pizza flavor. By other reviewers pictures, I thought I would be getting a decent pizza. I honestly couldn't even say whether the sauce was good or not because it had a burnt flavor to it. The butter Parm crust flavoring was OK, but the Cajun crust just tasted like spicy salt lick.

Great pizza and very cool menu to choose from! Bbq Chicken pizza is amazing! Cheese pizza is awesome too with a flavored crust!

The food and ambiance is great, but there communication skills needs improvement. Just moved into the area a few months ago, gave them a try, 2 thumbs up. Usually called in the order, and when the employee would give the option to pay with a card, not once was it mentioned there would be a $.99 service charge applied. Since I was stupid enough not to look at the receipt, or even check it out online, I'll take the hit. But, that's pretty bad. I called back to talk to the manager, bad timing on my part, 5:30pm, not cool, I admit, sorry. "We've been changing that for 3 years and there's the sign on the counter." You're not hearing me. Fix the script! Don't get defensive with the customer, the manager finished the conversation with, "Have the day that you deserve," and came across pissed. I probably would be pissed too, but you are supposed to be professional about it. So, if you go there, great food, bring cash.​

Recently received the flyer in the mail. Heard about this place and first time trying pizza and breadsticks. Dill pickle pizza was wonderful. Breadsticks with ranch and pizza sauce. First time customer and definitely will be back. Deliver driver was very prompt and kind.

This is the original spot. It used to be the old location of discount Jewelers. A little pizza shop with a big dream to become one of Westland's best pizza shops. Great menu, service and quality Ingredients makes this my #1 place for pizza and bread sticks. The place is designed with all the old 80's posters and wall art. It has the video game waiting for the next high score. Feel free to play while your waiting for your order. Look over the menu and give them a try. The pizza will keep you coming back.

First time trying and we enjoyed it very much. Ordered a large with old world pepp (and black olives) with cajun crust. Also a large "extreme cheese bread". Pizza was very good, they are generous on the cajun, lucky we like spicy cuz it would have been too much for other fam members. Old world pepp is awesome, love the crispy edges. Cheese bread is not normally on my faves list because its usually doughy bread and too much bland white cheese. 80s was good-it was cooked enough to have a slight crust, cooked bottom, and cheese got a little browned. There was a garlicky butter and herbs on it too so pretty decent pick. I just dont think Id call it "extreme". They give both ranch and pizza sauce with it too, so yay for that! Plan to have it again for NY day so will probably try a diff topping combo this time.

Good food and service. They offer pickup and delivery. It's conveniently close to my house.

The SLICE of 80s BEST PIZZA AROUND BAR NONE always CONSISTENT in FLAVOR they don't SKIMP toppings always delivered with in the 45min or faster if you haven't tried the PICKLE PIZZA it's a must. I've never had a bad experience I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SLICE of 80s. Thanks guys Ralph Gwood48

this review will be in all caps so someone hears this!!!!! i tried ordering a pizza from this place tonight on door-dash. if you want a large cheese pizza, you are forced to buy a dessert. there is no way around it. the person i spoke with...omg....sounds like she just woke up. i asked to speak w a mgr and was told " thats the way it is" lmaoooo number 1 selling item in a pizzeria and thats the way it is?!?!? i hear nothing but good things about this place but the lost my business because of this moronic behavior.

Always a great choice for pizza night! They have a wide selection of pizzas, our favorite is the dill pickle pizza! Very consistent quality

Not to be confused with a New Wave Mixing Studio (Splice Of The 80s), that TV show in Miami (Vice Of The 80s), our obsession with materialism and consumerism (Price Of The 80s), or all the fleas on all the cats during the Reagan years (Lice Of The 80s). This place is all about the concept and the theme and the decor and not really about the product. The pizza is pretty average and nowhere near the high insane standards of wonderful, nay, perfect Detroit Pizza. Given how amazing the pizza is in Detroit, I would probably give this pizza three stars, but I'm bumping it up to a 4 because the place obviously has some of the best Decor I've ever seen. I absolutely love it. I love the tables, the walls, the cars out front, and they also have really really nice Service as well. Super-friendly girl and pretty cool guys as well. So 4 it is. Unfortunately, there's no Back To The Future 4 yet. And unfortunately, there is an Indiana Jones 4, and the less said about it, the better.

This pizza is the best my family and I have had, and the 80s theme is awesome, makes me feel like stepping back in time. We order pizza once a week, slice of the 80s always wins.

For sure the best pizza on Doordash. The sauce is what makes this place perfect. The cheese to sauce ratio is fire. Cajun crust, I will eat that all day long. The pepperoni here is spot on. Some places have pepperoni that leaves a bad after taste, this one is perfect. I've had bad mushrooms on pizza, this place, it is fresh. When I open a box from here, I'm smitten in love to the nice smellz. The box is cute too It's pricier compared to other shops, but I assure you, that price is worth it.

Always a quality pizza! Love the atmosphere, the fun names, the great appetizers, and the fresh toppings. The phone app makes it easy to order and track rewards. I wish they delivered to my area, but it's worth the drive! I do miss the jalapeño poppers tho...

Best pizza of my life. Everything is great, and I go when ever I'm in the area. Service is fantastic. I've never had a better experience. The ambiance is perfect, who doesn't love all the 80's stuff. My only complaint is that I wish they were closer to me and not an hour drive. I'd go here every day if I could. No one makes a better pizza and no one has better service, in my opinion. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Well I won't be back here. The last 4 times the staff had been extremely rude. I told the lady thank you 4 times with no response. Put money in the tip jar right in front of her . No response. Gives me the food turns around walks away. No food is good enough for this treatment. I rarely complain and worked at a pizza place myself. This is just disgusting I hope they go out of business.

Very solid food here. My favourite pizza is the 85. In-house seating is quite limited. Three rather old tables and chairs (probably from the Carter/Reagan years). You are probably better off doing carry-out if you have more comfortable and modern Clinton/Bush II/Obama era dining furniture. Posters from various 80s blockbusters line the wall and there is a refrigerated bottle beverage case for various sodas. Convenient parking in front. Easy to get in and out. Happy dining! My wife and I love this pizza place! It is always our number one go to when we have company over. Online ordering is a breeze so is the app. Food is ready quickly and they ALWAYS have good deals and fair prices with them! Delicious pizza! We always get the old world pepperoni preferably because it leaves a nice crisp to the top of the pizza. I love supporting a small business like this. The inside of the building has a lot of nostalgia and is decorated very nicely. Neat place to go if you grew up doing the 80s or would like to see a little pop culture! 10/10 overall, being our favorite. Keep it up 80's Pizza!!!

Vegan cheese!! Yes!!!! Once I heard through the grapevine that Slice of the 80s has a vegan cheese option, I immediately got dinner here to check it out. The cheese is really good. It melts well, and it has a good taste. However, I am a little upset that you can only order the vegan cheese on a small pizza. Not a medium or large, and definitely not the calzones. I'm really hoping they offer it for the rest of the menu soon, because it was costly having to get 2 different pizzas. I will definitely order extra cheese next time as well, I felt that it wasn't enough for my fake-cheese love!! I also order extra vegan cheese at Mod Pizza so maybe it's just me. I also wish substituting with vegan cheese wasn't $4 whole dollars more :( especially if the pizza still shows the red sauce and isn't *covered* in cheese like their other pizzas are. The inside is so cute and really fits their vibe! They have retro movie posters, an arcade game, vintage buttons for sale in their display, goofy wall art, a "today in the 80s" 12-month calendar, etc! The employees were so nice, chill, and helpful! We also got our food pretty quickly. They deliver, and they have decorative 80s cars! I ended up signing up for their email list!

What a great hole in the wall pizza joint! I'm hardly ever in this area and was happy to stumble upon this place. The concept of all 80's was really cool. Seeing all the 80's movie stars, shows, etc. On the wall was a nice touch. I also enjoyed the music; also all 80's. I ordered their Hawaiian pizza and it was delicious! Definitely a must try if in the Westland area.

So, I have seen this restaurant multiple times in Westland. I don't know if they were having a bad day or trying to save money by decreasing their ingredients. But this pizza tasted like Nothing.... I don't think it had any sauce on it. It had a good amount of pepperoni and cheese.. Slices were sliced ok. The only thing that made be able to eat the pizza was because of the BBQ sauce we brought with the chicken. I will not be going back no favor pizza...
