Slice Pizza Kitchen

I would give this place 3.5 stars. Good solid food and great staff. One of the less “busy” places in downtown Birmingham so it’s a nice place to go if you’re looking for something a little more quite.

I don't know what these out of towners are saying, and why this rating has dipped. But, as a Birmingham resident who has been going here regularly since it opened, hosted multiple parties here, and watch Lions game here nearly every week during football season, I can honestly say this is the best family friendly restaurant in downtown Birmingham. Food is really good. Atmosphere is phenomenal. Staff is friendly even when overwhelmed. I HIGHLY recommend!

I didn’t personally eat there, but my son was invited to a bday party there for a friend. The kids had a blast. Both the kids and the adults said the food was great and the service was too. The hosts/parents said it was super easy to coordinate, too!

Nice seating outside - waitstaff was very friendly and nice. We both got slices of pizza for lunch - nothing crazy - nice hot pizza - lots of cheese. Reminded me of good late night pizza in college. I could only eat one piece but we’ll be back there are plenty of other things to try.

Ordered the bbq chicken specialty pizza - it's NOT thin-crust/NY-style/traditional italian, it's the regular thick dough-y. Crust was very chewy, but the combination of ingredients was very good ! Liked the overall taste though.

Good place. One of our regular go-tos in Birmingham. Their partner restaurant next door, Sidecar, has a good atmosphere to hang out or watch sports. Food comes out quickly and is good. You can order off either menu from either place giving you substantial options.

This place is excellent! All the pizzas superb, (I specifically like the 53rd). I’m also a fan of the Gyro over Rice

I honestly crave this pizza. It's always got the perfect crunch on the crust, the toppings are always a great combo no matter which one you get from the menu! Even building your own turns out so good 🤤🤤 Whomever they have making the pizzas, way to go. Huge fan ❤️👍🍕

Stopped by this place this weekend and we are so glad we did! We were sat in the bar section of slice and we're happy to see that their happy hour menu was extended to weekends! My fiancé and I both got a drink and they were very reasonably priced. Although our server brought his beer a bit late she was very apologetic. I ordered the slice of pizza which was really nice because I didn't want to order a whole pizza. It was very good for the price! My fiancé was excited to see calzones on the menu because they are his favorite. He said it was "a real calzone" idk what that means but he liked it. Overall I would definitely come back and it is one of the more reasonably priced restaurants in Birmingham! Also parking is easy and close!

The cauliflower crust is actually good! My kid asked for it when we went out and we also both enjoy the video game room at Slice.

Great pepperoni pizza! Just enough sauce, perfect crispy crust. Perfect balance of texture, flavor, and cheese.

One of the best places around for families. We bring our soccer and football teams here to hang out regularly. There is an arcade in the back. Dozens of TVs to watch games. Food is really good. Service is really good. I have hosted events here in the past and catered my daughters birthday party from here. Highly recommend.

I am actually surprised to see bad reviews. I've been to side car twice and we ordered the pizza from slice both times we were there. The pizza was outstanding and definitely a favorite of the table. I can't speak on the venue at night as I have only been there during the day but the service is always good and the pizza was even better.

Without being overly mean, I will say that the food is just not good. The round "made to order" pizza was cold. The chicken wings were cold and soggy. The fries were (you guessed it) cold and soggy in a strange sauce. My guess is this is more of a drinking place. Very loud and busy on a Saturday night.

Update: My husband and I got food poisoning from here and it was BRUTAL. We wanted to make them aware in hopes of this not happening to anyone else. The owner was SO nice. They didn't credit that meal, however he said he would be sending a gift card, and then he never did. I'm so bummed we so wanted this to be our go to place

Delicious pizza and traditional buffalo wings. Must try and you will not be disappointed. My family enjoyed the food and the atmosphere is great when Michigan State is playing football.

Went in looking for a quick slice. Waited 13 minutes and the slice finally arrived (felt it took way too long especially since their name is slice). Opened my bag to a small rock hard square of pizza. Not good, $4 for a slice that took too long and wasn't good. They are going to need some great luck to survive.
