Great pizza!! We’ve almost at closing time, still they allowed me to stay and enjoy a couple of slices. Good setting you get to pick 7 toppings!! Dough is thin and still holds up all ingredients really well. I chose mozzarella, goat cheese, corn, onion, mushrooms and oregano, delicious!!! Took some leftovers home, and warmed up on toaster and almost as fresh out of the oven! They also serve beers, wine, water and soda. Definitely worth going back and fight for parking ;)

Google
Great place, amazing flavor, it isn't a commercial pizza the flavor and ingredients are really different. Cook it in a nice oven. The price it's very good. With 1 pizza can eat 2 or even 3 people. The atmosphere it's very comfortable, fountain drinks and draft beers.

Pizza and salad were delicious. The garlic knots were kinda gross. I have had these before and they were so yummy. Today the dough was under cooked and the garlic was burned , which really affected the taste. Not really Happy with the service this time either. The girl was impatient when my kid had problems deciding. There was no one behind us. He has autism and anxiety. Sometimes decision making causes him to panic, he just needs a minute. The clerk taking our order snapped " do you need me to pick the toppings for you?" When I tried to explain that my kid has a panic disorder , the girl with the pink hair just rolled her eyes. The other girl working the restaurant was really nice when she brought our food out. Last time we were here, all of the food and the service were amazing. So we will try again and see. The quality of the ingredients are so good.

Google
This is an amazing corner pizzeria in the heart of Laguna Lumberyard district. Amazing service by the staff, huge variety of ingredients to choose from, amazing variety of IPA, and drinks. Thin crust rustic pies, sauce is great.

Google
First of all, I really wish people would stop leaving 1-star reviews for minor stuff. You didn’t like the pizza? Fine. Don’t go back but don’t leave 1 star. It can really hurt a business and now more than ever we need to be supporting these guys. Unless everyone wants to eat chain restaurant food from here on out. We got the pepperoni pizza and Brussels sprouts. I also got one of their draft beers to go which they were nice enough to pour for me. Food was delicious and the beer was fantastic. Definitely going back.

Google
Great spot in Laguna for a personal pizza. I love pizza and am not easily won over but the quality ingredients, hot oven and attention to crafting personal pizza's is spot on at Slice. The wall of wine and beer is a cool concept. Great place for families to get take out or sit and enjoy inside or outside at tables.

Zach P.

Google
Very casual pizza spot with some fun menu options along with build your own. The quality is great, and the garlic knots were pleasant surprise.

Google
This hole in the wall is an incredible gem for downtown Laguna Beach, with amazing, freshly prepared pizzas and an incredible electronic beer tap wall. They offer lunch specials (slice and drink) and build your own pizza making. The bathroom is outside and around the corner-which is a little strange- but it’s a clean restroom with cool Scrabble decor. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Best Pizza I've Ever Had! Service was quick and employees were friendly! This spot is a bit on the pricer side (it's Laguna Beach after all) but they have great selection of specialty pizzas! I decided to customize my own. There's limited seating inside and i waited at least 10 minutes for my pizza to be served. I can't describe how delicious it was! I recommend you coming and giving this place a try!!

Yelp
We were on a hunt for good pizza before a beach day. Came across Slice while exploring Laguna and decided to give it a try. Cute pizza shop with plenty of menu and beer options. Not a fan of leaving negative reviews, but not the best pizza I've had. The crust was a tad bit.. rubbery and hard to eat. Didn't want it to go to waste, so we ate as much as we could. Cant say that I would recommend Slice for good pizza.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time and really enjoyed it! I had the chicken meatball pizza, which comes with red sauce, shredded cheese, meatballs, garlic, and pickles. I ordered it without the pickles, and it was absolutely delicious. I also got a plain cheese pizza for my three little ones (ages 8, 6, and 2), and it was more than enough for them to share. Parking in the area can be a bit busy on weekends...I was there on a Sunday, so unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to go in and instead found a 20 minute metered spot. Luckily, my pizzas were ready in about 10 minutes. In fact, by the time I walked in, the guy was already packing them up. The pizzas are a great size for sharing. My husband and I shared the chicken meatball one and still had a couple of slices left. Same for the kids with the cheese pizza...they had some leftovers too. Customer service was spectacular. I wish I had caught the name of the guy who helped me since he was super friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Serving heaven by the slice. That is a goooood cheese pizza! I'm coming back from a whole one

Yelp
Hey pizza and beer, just wanted to write a little feedback review regarding my most recent and only visit here at this spot. I stopped by yesterday around I wanna say 7:30 ish to grab a quick bite of pizza by the beach on my day off with my wife, as soon as we walk in we kinda see the tone is a little off with about maybe 4-5 guys just kinda staring at us making the food with nobody taking my order. Another Customer came in and said they had a pick up order and not much interaction was done other than handing the food to the customer and that was it, no greeting just a simple what's the name and a hand off of the food and that was it. I work in fast food as a manger and I think I took it a little more personal with the customer attentiveness of my cashier but I let it pass, I walk back to the other side of the counter and ask a guy making pizza dough where do I place my order ? And he looked annoyed and said id do it, as he says that the guy that was originally supposed to tend me but walked off to the mobile order says I'll take it with the most visible ill body language I can see, I tell him my order and he lets me know the pizza is pretty small if I'm sure I didn't want two hinting one pizza wasn't gonna be enough I took it as a good gesture and ordered a second pizza, not to mention the guy making the dough had said it'd be about a 25/30 minute wait for the food . I still ordered and continue on with my interaction with the guy with a blue shirt and mustache and at the end of him taking my order he throws the marker on the counter and Points to the register and I started to get a little offended, we walk over to the register and he dosent tell me my total the screen is what lets me know my food was 40 dollars and some change. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere looked really cool to vibe in but my customers service was beyond terrible, I let my cushier know in a kinda rude but Also concerning manner if there was any reason he was acting like there was a stick up his butt and he was thrown off guard and just said "what ? What are you taking about bro ?" Knowing if you could have just apologized for the bland interaction and said something funny to make it up, instead my dine in order was walked out to me by some blond guy with shorts and said "two pepperonis ?" And I said yes he handed me the food and walked out the store around only assuming to use the bathroom lol not only was my customer service was pretty bad I felt like I got discriminated against and my 4H order came in a box To go. But other than that guys the pizza was great I'm sorry to whoever was having a bad day that day maybe you guys can take this review and apply it to the service ! Food :9/10 Service: 2/10

Yelp
We ordered takeout from this place and wow... big mistake. The food was rubberty (yes, like chewing on an old tire), cold, and tasted so fake I had to check if it was even real meat. It was like someone microwaved leftovers from three days ago and threw it in a to-go box. Zero flavor, zero effort, zero stars if I could. I don't know who's hyping this place up, but they must have never had actual food before. Save your money and just eat a frozen dinner -- it'll taste better and be hotter too. Never again.

Yelp
Loved everything! We got the pesto chicken sandwich and every ingredient was so fresh. Hot honey bbq chicken pizza was great. The slices are a quarter of a pizza and I think it was only $6. I love that it's off the beaten path but we discovered it on our way to the farmers market last year and came back this year to check it out. The service was great and I was very happy with the experience.

Yelp
Great food and helpful staff. My pizza was perfectly crisp at the bottom and the toppings were spaced out nicely. Not over priced for the area it's in. I sat outside and enjoyed my pizza while reading. About 5 minute walk from the beach which is great when you need a food break! Would come here again.
google avatar

Yelp
The service was good and sweet, the people working there were very friendly if you have allergies be very careful as a vegan. It was really difficult to choose toppings that had tons of stuff mixed in. I mentioned it and said what can I get that will actually be the topping because everything is mixed in, we were so hungry. We got a salad too which just contained the same contaminated ingredients. The pizza was $17 and so was the salad same toppings not worth it but if you're desperate, for pizza and you don't care if the toppings you choose, have a ton of other stuff in it then it's good

Yelp
This was my first time ever going to Laguna Beach and finding a place that was affordable was difficult. My boyfriend took me as a surprise and we decided we wanted to get pizza for lunch. The lady that served us and took our order was so nice! Didn't get her name but she was wearing a boho bandeau natural life top. Her energy was so bright and enthusiastic everyone in the restaurant was laughing and talking together and there were overall good vibes in there. She even complimented my top! Me and my boyfriend got the #2 combo and we both ate good for $18!! Definitely worth a place to check out when in the area.

Yelp
WARNING if you decide to order online. We live nearby so we decided to order on their website tonight. It said our pizzas would be ready in 20 minutes, by 7:08 PM. My husband is there now to pick them up (it's 7:20 PM), and they haven't even STARTED preparing our pizzas. When he walked in, they were JUMPING ROPE with pizza dough. Not acceptable. He just texted me that the customer who just ordered in front of him at the register is now already eating his pizza, but they STILL haven't even started making ours. Unfortunately this is not good service for returning local customers so we probably won't be back for a while. :-(

Yelp
We have been coming here since opening and love it. I read mixed reviews lately but we went last week and it was as delicious as ever. Menu changed around a little, but the toppings are available a la carte (a la Chipotle) so it's easy to create your fave. The self serve beer and wine taps are another highlight.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. Great pizza, good cost and the two tattooed ladies are amazing, always super positive and cool. Great ambiance, location and the music choice is always on point. I highly recommend this place :)
google avatar

Yelp
Holy Guacamole! Absolutely delicioso! We had a make your own pizza Pepperoini & black olive, Beet salad, hubby had 2 beers and I had a glass of wine. They have pouring spigots so you can do tastings! I think it was about 60 bucks. Great food and vibe. Must try!
google avatar

Yelp
Great little spot in Laguna beach. They have some delicious vegan options for pizza and salad. Pizza is made in a real pizza oven. Soft drinks are fun for the kids to choose from. And there is a unique beer selection and serving options (if you consume alcohol). Lots of options for everyone. Great place to go if your group has different dietary demands, pallets, and consumption desires. Cool concept and cool people running the show. AloHA!

Yelp
Made bet if pizza was good, I would make a yelp account and give them 5 stars, so here I am. Thanks for the amazing pizza! :D

Mikayla D.

Yelp
The food itself was good, slightly expensive for what it is but expected for the area. The man (didn't get the name) working was making our party feel rushed and was not very welcoming. Everyone in our party asked for pesto on our pizza and NONE of them had pesto which was disappointing when you could see on the paper he had acknowledged the pesto order. The worst part about this place was the swarm of flies inside. They were literally swarming around us when we were trying to pay at the register, gross. We came in and the store was empty and the employees weren't busy doing anything. There was no care to take care of the fries before we were there or while we were there.
google avatar

Yelp
We've been here many times. We're crust snobs. The crust used to be much better. More training? Better flour? Sold to new vendor? Might not go back.
google avatar

Dakota S.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon with my dad to grab some pizza, salad and beer. Everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly.. been there a couple times before happy with everything.

Yelp
Best pizza in O.C. Period! Love the location and quaint feeling. I love the Margarita pizza, sometimes they are inconsistent depending on the workers so be sure to mention you want enough cheese or extra.
google avatar

Yelp
Slice. Wow. Best Pizza ever. Oh sure I've said that about other spots. Scratch that. This is the latest bestest. Laguna Beach in SoCal. Yes, it's the OC, yes it's the lap of luxury. But this is down and dirty NY-style pizza being offered in sunny southern California. You know fresh vegetables are the standard in SoCal. So yes, fresh. Stone oven pizza. Crust was hands down the best. Crunchy, but soft. I love California that much more because of this pizza spot. This is where mouth joy and belly happiness come to meet up, have a Slice, at Slice. As always. Take care of yourselves. Live life today, to the fullest. Hug yourself and your loved ones. And get on a plane to anywhere. When you get there, don't forget to share it with us on Yelp.

Yelp
Excellent pizza. The cheese is REAL and the crust fresh. Love the sauce. Cute spot for casual dine in or take out too.

Des R.

Yelp
Everything was so good and service was worth a little wait! First time coming here and was not disappointed it was a cute little pizza place and food/service was great

Wida R.

Yelp
Excellent service and food was delicious! I ordered it on the phone for pickup and it was very timely. Super friendly employee. I will be back.

Daryn U.

Yelp
Beer good, ran out of garlic knots tho so lack of snacks. Team looked really good at tossing dough so maybe they can make more knots during the day that would rock.
google avatar

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
This place is great! Food, staff, and ambiance is all there. Parking is somewhat more difficult if it's busy but there is a lot of street parking and parking lots that are close by. Will be back!

Nicole P.

Yelp
Best pizza in Laguna beach! Also delivered hot on DoorDash which is great. Love that they use organic ingredients too

Tenzin D.

Yelp
The times I had the pizza, it was nothing to be amazed about. However, I recently ordered a pizza that got canceled, and I never received a refund.
google avatar

Yelp
We were looking forward to grabbing some nice pizza and beer for dinner but should have just stayed home and ordered cheap delivery. I saw on the website you were able to try different beers and could pay by the ounce but when I got to the cash register they told me they would just pour my beer for me. It seems that pouring your own beer isn't an option? It was INCREDIBLY loud and busy. Which isn't something the restaurant could control, but it seems like there was a lot of chaos and people with wrong orders, etc. When I finally received my pizza it was very undercooked and doughy in places. In addition to not being fully cooked, it was too salty to eat. I even tried just eating the cheese and it was still super salty. I normally don't mind a little salty but this was unedible. And I like pretty much all pizza. Cheap, pizza, pan crust, thin, school pizza, I like it all :D I hope it was just an off night but overall this was hugely disappointing and I wish I'd have just stayed home and not wasted the money.

Melanie S.

Yelp
This place is so wonderful with friendly staff and amazing pizza and bread knots and I love the barstools to eat at the window! Keep up the great work guys!
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Had the chicken meatball pizza. It was just average for me. Tasted more sauce than anything and the crust was not crisp. Was looking forward to the beer but it was. warm. Wouldn't try again
google avatar

Greg F.

Yelp
Got home and opened the box to find this monstrosity. Supposed to be a Classic Margarita Pizza
google avatar

Penny J.

Yelp
Pretty good pizza like the crust was good and stuff the vegan cheese was thick and likeeeeeeee goooddddddddddddddddddd

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Would give a Zero. Their service is at best horrendous they have cancelled my online order twice at random and on a several occasions we have walked in well before the stated close time and they refuse to take our order. The pizza has gone way downhill since opening and tastes mainly like a slab of salt. Shame on them they also are now charging a so called "local fee" WHAT???? Forget this place.... and they are also the owners of the lumberyard across the street sorry but they should pay more attention.
google avatar

Kathryn Y.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this spot on a trip down south. Today was the day. Excellent pizza, salads, grilled Brussel sprouts, a huge oven with . My only complaint is...the spot is so small. But I love the idea. Wrist bands for your beer and or wine choices. The beer choices were pretty decent for a SoCal beer place. The prices were decent as well for a vacation town. The pizza had a very thin crust and was cooked perfectly. We saw them making fresh pesto, next time I'm ordering a pesto sauce pizza. The salad was chopped Italian with kale and lettuce, with salami, olives and Parmesan cheese. Fresh oven baked Brussel sprouts. If you're in Laguna, stop by. Cheers.

Lea C M.

Yelp
Where to begin? This used to be one of our favorite pizza places and has since completely gone downhill. The little area behind the glass, where all the items for the pizzas are was a complete and total mess and so dirty I was actually worried that I was going to get food poisoning just looking at it. So many of the little compartments were empty and when I asked the guy if they were out of green pepper, he answered me "yeah I think so" and didn't offer to check in the back or anything like that. He seemed annoyed actually that I even asked him. The young guys that were working there were less than enthusiastic and actually kind of rude when my husband stopped one of the guys when he noticed he was putting blue cheese on his pizza, which my husband did not ask for. And what took it to the next level is that the young guy insisted to my husband that he had ordered blue cheese, something my husband would never ever consider eating. Everything looked dirty and had fingerprints on it, and it felt cluttered and messy. The drink/soda machine in the back corner where I got my root beer looked like it had never been cleaned or wiped down. There were so much sticky soda dripping down the front of it. The pizza itself was undercooked and doughy in places. We will definitely never be eating there again.

Yelp
My pizza was burnt again. This is the third time. The other two pizzas we ordered were not burnt. I ate a slice anyway and immediately got very nauseous. I was very uncomfortable. I also don't care for the fennel sausage. It's like baloney, not sausage, and definitely not fennel. The other two pizzas were okay, according to those who ordered. Not great, just okay. I'm tired of ordering burnt pizzas.

Camden G.

Yelp
the employees Jake and Andrew at this establishment are always super friendly and helpful. Always making it a more welcoming restaurant with their smiles.
google avatar

Mario G.

Yelp
First time here last night was a great experience just a pizza & a couple beers but with an experience. Tap beer system is fun and great, you can get as little as it as much as you like of any beer in some fancy individual glass wear! Winner while we waited for our table across the street. Margarita was delicious and the tomato sauce fresh. We will be back for the family deal very soon! Great staff great place 5 stars
google avatar

Danica V.

Yelp
Little small place located in downtown. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. Similar to blaze and pieology. Just better quality ingredients! Customer service is excellent here. I really enjoyed our BYOP and Caesar salad
google avatar

Jake F.

Yelp
I have been coming to this restaurant ever since I moved to laguna beach. In the begging it was good food and a good restaurant but now I would rather go to blaze pizza and that would probably taste better.
google avatar

Dawn F.

Yelp
Laguna Beach, CA Build your own Pizza OK...we got it out of our system. After walking by this new spot on several occasions, curiosity got the best of us. Premium Ingredients and unique daily pizza offerings piqued our interest and compelled us to visit our very first build your own pizza style concept style restaurant...ever. Yep, we've never visited a blaze, or any of the others of this type. Premium ingredients, unfortunately did not transfer to anything but average tasting, salty pizza...we split a pizza and a Cobb salad, both were average tasting and disappointing. We would have been better served spending our money at one of our more favored spots. Build your own Pizza 3 stars $11.50 up to 7 ingredients. We saw them served burned pizza to one guest who took it back and asked for a remake. Our pizza was made after we went through the line, they wrote our toppings down but did not assemble in front of us. Pizza toppings on ours were not plentiful and the pizza was also made incorrectly with ingredients that were supposed to be on half, ended up on the whole. Our pizza was somewhat wet in the middle. We ordered red sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, pepperoni, sausage, roasted red bell peppers, house sauteed mushrooms, onions, fresh basil. Cobb Salad 3 stars. $12 Using some of the best ingredients, the bacon was overcooked and hard pieces, romaine was thin and lackluster wished we had opted for kale, dressing and blue cheese was almost non existent had to ask for more dressing. The pizza was not good enough to order a second. We were going to order a burrito from a taco joint around the corner but they had just closed. Hubs was still hungry after, came home and ate cereal. Street Metered Parking, dining is shared tables, pay at register food brought out, paper plate service...one visit enough for us. Now I know why I tend to stay away from this concept.
google avatar

Ricardo M.

Yelp
Friendly people behind the counter on 08/21/21. Absolutely no flavor in the sauce. The toppings came from frozen defrosted bags. Life hacks where you put the pizza in the fridge and eat it cold the next day didn't work. I wouldn't eat here again or recommend it.

Ron D.

Yelp
Good pizza. Awful service. Showed up at their appointed time to pick up and had to wait another 25 minutes. Staffed by a bunch of kids who didn't seem to know (and maybe care) what they were doing. Many other pickup and dine in customers grumbling. Not smart business.
google avatar

Desire V.

Yelp
We came off the main street and beach front to come here because of reviews. So glad we did! the pizza and sauce were amazing!!!! we're so happy and our 3 year old has been quietly scarfing down her pizza the entire time. lol the beer system is makes me so happy! they provide you with a fob or "key" to scan and allow you to self pour your own beers and wine they have on tap. And charge in the end by the ounces (i'm assuming, as i'm still here drinking). I love it. I can taste as many beers as I want and they have a simple glass rinsing system between beers. So now i have a beer i'm completely pleased with... not to mention it's a sour beer (my favorite!) and they're hard to find the setup is clean cozy and the place smells amazing and the pizza guys were great!
google avatar

Feri S.

Yelp
The quality was bad, the location is good and staff looked friendly but the quality of material is surprisingly terrible

Nathaniel M.

Yelp
Can't believe it tasted this Gooood, I'm not gonna lie, I would come Back. Here's how much I enjoyed the pizza. ENJOY
google avatar

Darren L.

Yelp
The pizza was so salty as to be indelible. And it wasn't just my pizza; my wife's pizza was just as salty. On top of that, the space is cramped and was so incredibly loud with screaming kids that my wife and I ended up texting each other instead of shouting across the single long table. Their website also says that they have a wristband system for beer and wine that lets you pour your own and try as many flavors as you want, paying only for what you drink. THAT IS A LIE. You have to choose before you can even browse the selection and they pour and charge you for an entire glass. I will never set foot in this restaurant again.
