Brooklyn-Style Pizzeria Opens New Location on St-Laurent | Eater Montreal

"I visited Slice + Soda’s new St-Laurent outpost at 3845 Boulevard Saint-Laurent, its fourth location tucked between Roy and Napoleon and sandwiched between La Vieille Europe and Boucherie Hongroise. They’re slinging the same jumbo New York–style thin-crust slices ($5 a pop or $30 for a full pie) found at their Mile End, Old Montreal, and Concordia-area shops — classic options like pepperoni, vegetarian, four cheese, and bocconcini — but the owners hope this one reads more like the Main: a graffiti mural of the New York subway by a local artist, a vintage 1970s pinball machine, and what co-owner Brahms Yaich calls a slightly more artsy fit-out. The chain is co-owned by Ludovic Marionnet as well, and while you can fold the pizza like you’re running for the subway, the flour comes from Ontario (Yaich says Quebec flour is very tough). As the name suggests, they also offer their own organic sodas in inventive flavours, including one made with raspberry syrup, blackberry, and kiwi sumac bitters, and another with yuzu syrup, rhubarb, and fuji bitters." - Joel Balsam

Everything was great! Service, food, ambiance. Beautiful place with music. 8-10 seat to eat. Pizza is so big I couldn’t eat my 2 slices and I eat a lot!

When in Montréal, one is treated to so many options, it's almost hard to choose. For supper the other night, we were out for the night when our noses (and stomachs!) decided this was where we were eating. The smell lured us off the street, and from the get-go, we knew it was exactly where we were supposed to be. They have a variety of different kinds of pizzas, and the slices are HUGE. Personally, I like a good, well topped, thin crust pizza, and Slice and Soda had that in spades. For anywhere from $5-6.50, you're getting a slice that is as big as your head. Throw a drink in there, you're still spending about $10 per person, and you can't go wrong with that. They have specialized flavors of Italian sodas as well - I had the Raspberry, and it was so refreshing and complimented the food so well. I had the prosciutto pizza, and my daughter had the OG, pepperoni. We traded a bite for a bite, and it was hard to decide who's was better. We couldn't decide and then threw a calabrese in there as well to make it an even more difficult decision too. I don't actually think there's a bad choice you can make here. The staff working behind the counter were incredible. Professional, friendly, and funny - everything you could ask for. They asked us about ourselves, how we liked our meals and really went above and beyond. They have another location in Old Port that we actually ended up at again (!!) the next day. Next time we visit Montréal, this will be a must stop for sure.

I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the workers they’re all so sweet and generous. I’ve come at 3am and 12 pm and the service remains the same with everyone just being so nice. The spicy mayo is to die for i love ittttt. The music is always good and the portions are huge.

Perfect place to grab a quick pizza and a soda in a nice setup. The pizza was tasty, and the sodas have a unique flavor you won’t find anywhere else. The quality to price ratio is amazing! definitely worth a stop!

Absolutely love this place! The pizzas are amazing and the staff is incredible! The slices are generous and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I’ve ordered from this Slice + Soda several times through DoorDash and Uber Eats, and it’s always been great. Huge thanks to the team for their kindness and awesome service!

We stopped by Slice & Soda and tried the Calabrese pizza absolutely excellent! The slices were large and flavorful, with the perfect balance of spice and crispiness. The customer service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was fun and inviting. A great spot for a quick bite or casual hangout. Highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVE this pizza resto and appreciate them being on Saint-Laurent (the Main). My favourite pizza by far is the vegetarian—you can taste the fresh vegetables, and the Kalamata olives are delicious. Recommended! Ask for a card: buy 10 slices and the next one is FREE! The music is good too!
