When in Montréal, one is treated to so many options, it's almost hard to choose. For supper the other night, we were out for the night when our noses (and stomachs!) decided this was where we were eating.
The smell lured us off the street, and from the get-go, we knew it was exactly where we were supposed to be. They have a variety of different kinds of pizzas, and the slices are HUGE. Personally, I like a good, well topped, thin crust pizza, and Slice and Soda had that in spades. For anywhere from $5-6.50, you're getting a slice that is as big as your head. Throw a drink in there, you're still spending about $10 per person, and you can't go wrong with that.
They have specialized flavors of Italian sodas as well - I had the Raspberry, and it was so refreshing and complimented the food so well. I had the prosciutto pizza, and my daughter had the OG, pepperoni. We traded a bite for a bite, and it was hard to decide who's was better. We couldn't decide and then threw a calabrese in there as well to make it an even more difficult decision too. I don't actually think there's a bad choice you can make here.
The staff working behind the counter were incredible. Professional, friendly, and funny - everything you could ask for. They asked us about ourselves, how we liked our meals and really went above and beyond. They have another location in Old Port that we actually ended up at again (!!) the next day. Next time we visit Montréal, this will be a must stop for sure.
