USA is famous for their quintessential pizzas and pizza slices. If in Saugerties, feel free to explore which served a wide variety of pizza slices (quite big in size) including both veg and non veg options as well Garlic bread (or rather garlic knots) - quite different than i have had earlier, probably Saugerties special!! Service was quick (takeaway) and food tasted great if not outstanding.

Definitely a solid 5!! Excellent selection of both round and Sicilian pies. Crispy crusts, flavorful and NOT greasy. Check out their menu.

The best grandma around. Garlic Parm wings and garlic knots both super solid. Love their garlic knots garlic burn from the tons of fresh chopped garlic. Wings were crispy and had the chopped garlicky oil from the knots on them.

Stopped in for a quick slice. We were a group of 7. We each got a few different slices. We were all please. The grandma slices were delicious. Sauce was perfect. Definitely would return if I'm back in the area. Staff was friendly, but didn't seem overly enthusiastic. But overall, I'd recommend.

The grandmas slices are delicious. Super crunchy crust and the red sauce is sweet and great flavor. The sesame crusted pizza w fresh mozzarella, basil and balsamic is also a win!

Update to my previous review: the Slices app they have makes reordering a breeze! They send me discounts all the time. It saves my previous orders which are always customized so I only have to click once and it knows how we like it! I want to complement them on their amazing Greek salad with chicken I just had. Out of this world delicious!! You guys have been outdoing yourselves lately! We have been ordering from Slices for years and order a few times a week sometimes. Always fast friendly delivery. Foods consistently great. They accommodate our special requests all the time.

Walked in with my 2 year old to get a few slices for lunch, caprese for me and plain cheese for the toddler, and the person working VERY thoughtfully asked if I wanted the cheese slice heated up and also asked if I wanted it cut up. The dining room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the slices were good. Would absolutely recommend.

The whole wheat Gramma crust alone makes this pizza a cut above but the variety of toppings is such a long list that it’s hard to choose! I enjoy the unusual ones they offer like eggplant and artichokes. The fried dough is a huge pile of fried to perfection bite sized pieces!

This place appears like a typical pizza spot but wow the pizza here is so good! I got some special chicken pizza with pineapple and habanero and it was delicious. Perfectly crispy on the bottom while flavorful on the top. The vibes inside the restaurant is what you would expect where you order at the cash register with plenty of seating. Staff was great! Would definitely come back.

This was a good pizza spot serving some fun bites. I tried their Margherita pizza with balsamic and the ricotta eggplant pizzas. They have both non-veg and vegetarian options to choose from, and will toast your slices to get them real nice and warm. Staff is very friendly here and service is quick. The restaurant is clean. There is some indoor seating but it is on the limited side. I would come here and try their other slices!

I just moved to Saugerties after living in rural NY where no food delivery is available. Last week was the first time in 48 years that I was able to get a pizza delivery! Even though I live .5 miles from Slices, I chose delivery over a short stroll into town. I felt like a queen when the very friendly delivery person knocked on my door 15 minutes after I placed my order! I can get used to this. ( The little pleasures in life ) I read the reviews that described their pizza as real NY style. I'm so glad I wasn't skeptical. I got just a plain pizza, it did not disappoint! The crust was thin and crispy, just the way I like it. The sauce and cheese were just right! I highly recommend Slices of Saugerties! I also recommend Saugerties, such a great town!!

Very good NY style pizza by the slice or pie. Pleasant young lady took our order. Has a couple of slices of plain. Wife liked her slice of white pizza. Steady flow of takeout orders while we ate in. Cash discount

So... I get the pizza and garlic knots from here and looooove them. I've previously given a 5 star review for them. This is the first time I've tried anything else but today I was super craving an eggplant parm sub so I got one from here. Soooo gross. The eggplant was super soggy, the bread was mush, the sauce watery... just really horrible

BEST PIZZA! As a Saugerties local, this is the place I keep coming back to again and again. The garlic knots are to die for, super flavorful. We also love their garlic knots. The pizza is great, really can't go wrong with any choice here, but their grandma slice, white slice or traditional pepperoni are my top three. I might be biased because I am a local, but the staff is always friendly and prompt. Highly recommend Slices!

This place more than sufficed for some weary out of towners grabbing a plain pie to go! Customer service was very good, and the pie was ready faster than promised. We will be back!

Got a pie from here not expecting much and was surprised it was actually really good. I'm from long island so I know my pizza :P I can't say anything about service since it was take out but we did walk by and it seemed cute. I was very happy with my pizza, we all were. If you want some actually good pizza, eat here.

We have tried this place a few times looking for a new pizza place because we were tired of getting disappointed by our usual place (Brickyard). We have not been disappointed. Everything that we have ordered from pizza, salads, grilled vegetables etc has been delicious and fresh delivered promptly and perfectly accurate. We love the different options such as being able to add homemade hummus. The pesto chicken salad is a personal favorite and we look forward to trying many more menu items

Best pizza I've ever had not lying there are so many choices of toppings and a lot of different drinks in the cooler. The service is great I've never gotten an order messed up and I've been coming here since I could digest pizza. The place is amazing it's comfortable the also have stools facing the windows which i always sit at.

One of my top qualifiers in finding a place to live is proximity to a good pizza joint. Slices fits the bill. More of a storefront than an old school pizzeria (see Village Pizza for that), Slices has a great classic pie and a selection of specialty slices. The Slices slice isn't overly cheesy or overly bready and has the consistency you'd expect from New York pizza. It's a good staple in Saugerties.

We had the margarita pizza which was very good. Lots of the pies at the counter looked delicious (like the caprese salad pie). We will have to go back to try more! Service was very friendly.

Not surprising with the several pizza awards displayed! We ordered a house soup, slice of pizza, and a side salad. All were fresh and incredibly tasty and at reasonable prices. I highly recommend.

Down the street from where we stayed, we found this fantastic pizza place!! We ordered the El Gringo Salad, cheese pizza slices, a grandma slice and garlic knots!!! You have to go for the Grandma Slice---YUMMY!!

Love their mushroom grandma pizza! Friendly service and not crazy prices! Whenever I work in the Saugerties area I make a point of going here for lunch.

Great service! Wonderful employees and fast food! The pizza is to die for (one of the best I have had in New York) and it is a cute little lunch spot.

The grandma slices were pretty good! Heads up I'm not sure if the hours are correct here because when I went just after 9pm on a Friday they were closing up - but they were nice enough to heat over some of the leftover slices they had and let me get them even though they were technically closed when I arrived. So nice of them because there really wasn't much else to eat that didn't require a full sit down ordeal. The service was good and the grandma slices were definitely tasty! I'd definitely come back.

The pizza was average, didn't like that there was no bathroom, nothing to wash hands when you are eating pizza which is a hands on food. Idk how people eat pizza without washing hands.

It smells so delicious in here we just had to try it! My husband had the grandma slice and I got the fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil! Everything tasted delicious! So fresh!!

Great local spot, with awesome pizza and garlic nots. When visiting Saugerties area this is a great place if you want to grab a pie of pizza.

Omg. This pizza is the BEST!!! We r from NJ and decided to visit Saugerties for the day. This place is great. Clean, staff is respectful. Pizza Onions and sausage was out of this world. Crispy. We ordered the Vegan Pie option this weekend. It was delicious. I like the red sauce base with the loaded fresh veggies on top. We added some vegan cheese at home, put in oven for a few minutes and enjoyed it. Thanks for keeping the options open for all food types. We'll be back again real soon.

Slices has the best pizza, hands down, of anywhere I remember. They have these everything slices with little white cheese "castles", excellent simple slices with pepperoni and more. A nice happy place to be. And so yummy!

We ordered from slices for dinner while in town for a short trip to break up the monotony of quarantine life. We got the grandma crust pizza, which was crispy and almost Greek style crust. It was pulled high with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. The sauce is a little sweet but tasty. The garlic knots were definitely above par. When I picked up the order the place was clean, the staff was obviously having fun and were friendly. Certainly better than the average takeout pizza.

Not sure how the dine-in experience goes But ordering pizza and apps (every time) was not a good experience Everything always arrives cold , unfortunately. Even though we are within 5 min drive I want to give this place a chance every time, but somehow it's never impressive. People seem very sweet there on the other hand, anytime we order.

Convenient location right in the heart of downtown, but their pizza leans closer to tavern style with the crispy crust on their pies. Pizza here tastes good, especially the garlic knots, but I prefer pizza that is easier to fold and is more pliable.

Best Pizza in Saugerties without a doubt. Saugerties has many many pizza choices but if you want classic NY Pizza Slices is the best option. The grandma eggplant or mushy room slice is also a top choice. Try the salads and other menu items never disappoints.

Some of my favorite pizza ever! Certainly the best in Ulster county. Grandma crust is definitely my favorite and a must must try.

This is, quite simply, the best pizza I have ever had in my life. Hands down. No question. My family and I ordered it on vacay from California and haven't stopped talking about it. It's been 4 years. You will not be disappointed!!

Another one of those "oh hey, I come hailing from around the boroughs/down south" reviews. :D Anyway, the pizza is great. We ordered a large with mushrooms; spinach and onions on my side, and ricotta and sausage on my boyfriend's side. *chef's kiss* it was flavorful and the crust was quite nice. So why knock off a point? The wings were a disappointment; you can definitely live without them. The smell of our Parmesan garlic wings was pungent of the garlic and the cheese and while I loved that, one bite in we noticed it was crunchily hard and it seemed the wings were frozen a long time and frying them did no justice. Otherwise, pizza yes. Wings, no.

Slices pizza is not your typical NY style pizza, it's the bomb and by far the best in Saugerties. If you take it out or eat in, it's equally delicious. Their garlic knots are a must have as is their Grandma Pizza pizza. Not the place you might expect a delicious and fresh salad but they are a great addition to any meal. The staff is friendly and very attentive, never had a mistake with an order. The restaurant is small however not typically noisy & you can always find a seat.

I had the hummus wrap and it as delicious. The hummus tastes like it's homemade and is mouth-watering. My wife had the chicken parm sandwich which she loved! This place loses a star because they are called "Slices, but don't actually sell pizza by the slice." Lol!

We were staying nearby at the local KOA and were exhausted from driving all day so we decided to have pizza delivered. We had no idea what to expect, besides the positive Yelp reviews, but we were very pleased! We ordered the Miles James pizza (Grilled chicken, artichoke hearts,tomato sauce and mozzarella and pesto) and a house salad. The pizza was amazing, cooked perfectly with just the right amount of toppings. We were also impressed with the size and freshness of the garden salad. Many pizza places "phone in" the salad, but not at Slices! Slices was a great find and delivered right to our site in a timely manner!

AMAZING pizza. We ordered delivery and the person taking our order was SO sweet. We even called back to confirm our order and she was patient with us. For delivery - the order tasted fresh and very flavorful! Very happy

Hailing from New York City I have to say this place has a good grandma slice. Could use some Fresh garlic chunks and basil, but the sauce, cheese, and crust were good. Also needs to be left in the oven longer was served Luke warm.

If you love authentic New York pizza this is the place. I ordered the Caesar Salad and a slice with spinach and sausage. The salad was huge and so delicious with crunchy croutons and yummy cherry tomato The slice was to die for. We were all happy with our meals, and the young man who served us was super sweet. Thank you Slices for a memorable slice. We'll be back. I had one suggestion and that is y'all pack up and move down to my neighborhood in Charleston SC

This is half pepperoni? I don't think so, yea there's some under the cheese but still not enough to consider this half pepperoni other than that the pizza was decent but when paying extra for a topping I expect to get what I'm paying for

Use BETTER ingredients please! Good structure but no taste do to the cheap generic cheese, sauce and dough .

This restaurant saved the day. Another restaurant in town really screwed the pooch... the Dutch... but we ordered 3 pizzas and all were excellent, especially that sausage and broccoli rabe. They were super fast and the pies were still hot when we got home.
