A new underrated gem in East Village. You get a large assortment of European candy, salty licorice and chocolate covered items to pick from. They also have some chip items to pick from. Some of the selection is similar to lil sweet treat and bonbon swedish candy but most of it is not and is unique. Pricing for a 1/4lb is around the same as the other stores. There were flower candy that we were allowed to sample at the front and at the very front of the store, there are an assortment of this Scandinavian non-alcoholic wine that you can take home as well. I recommend you visit this shop!

Slik is a fantastic Copenhagen inspired candy store with an amazing selection. I am Danish and I know my candy, and I can honestly verify that this place is the real deal. The store itself is really cool, beautifully designed, and full of personality. The staff are great, friendly, and helpful, and the overall selection is impressive. You can find everything from classic favorites to specialty treats that truly taste like home. I am a big fan of licorice, and they absolutely deliver. The selection is spot on and authentic. On top of that, they even offer soft serve and coffee, which makes the experience even better. Slik brings a genuine taste of Copenhagen to New York. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love when a new candy shop opens up for me to check out and this one is a new exciting addition to the city. Felt like they had a much wider variety of candy and had a bunch of chocolate options too. The ice cream machine did overheat a little so we had to wait for it to cool to grab some ice cream but it was worth the wait, very tasty!
