Very nice clean eating area. Also staff is very nice and friendly. Always checking in on customers to make sure they are good. Food comes out hot and fresh. Will definitely recommend a place to eat and enjoying yourself. They also have a nice patio area where you can eat outside.

They smile and say u cannot have a trey holder unless there are cups order crappy for a uber and dasher driver have to carry three drinks and bags of food talk about cheap cheap wonder about the company and its food ?? Im never eating there on my own time….

First time here. I have tried tenders in a lot of places, and this one is one of my favorites! Crispy, hot and juicy. Wings are good too. Would definitely come back for the tenders!!!! What a joke. $6 for this handful of UNSEASONED OKRA. A rip off for certain. You get a better portion ordering it as a side with a meal. Piled high where???

Food is always fresh out and cooked nicely, always come here for their tenders and the flavors that they have for it, I got a 5pc tender with 3 of them “shaken” on garlic Parmesan and 2 of mango habanero, the garlic Parmesan is by far the best one on the list, I do think it’s slightly salty than it should be but it still tastes as good, the cayenne ranch is the best one so far. together with mango habanero for those that like and extra kick to it. Have a decent amount of choices for drinks but I always go for Their peach tea mixed with lemonade.

Extremely small tenders! Asked for them to be tossed in hot sauce. They were not. Ordered a potato salad was given a side of Mac and cheese instead. Bread was overly buttered. Wouldn’t recommend this location

This place has awesome chicken! We had the chicken and waffles on waffle Wednesday which discounted it by $4 - what a deal!! And we had the Buffalo Mac-n-cheese bowl which was also delicious. The inside decor is nice and they have an outdoor patio. The staff is really friendly and helpful- this was our first time at a Slim Chickens. We will be definitely be on the lookout for more of them!

My first time here with my family. I didn’t wanna stop and sit down to eat but with my kids hungry, why not. Driving across town and choose here. It was a good spot for sure. I want to shout out the front Lucio G for the great hospitality and the kitchen for well done food! Next time I’m trying the wings and waffles. Oh yes the jar desserts!

I've been eating at slims for a few years now. I love their chicken. Better than canes. The honey mustard is my absolute favorite. The cheese cake with whipped cream and strawberries is great! But lately their out when I go): Look forward to next time every time. Fast service and polite servers. Very clean restaurant in a very convenient location

I've had the wraps, the chicken and waffles, and the stripss tossed in sauce, but during this visit, I chose to try the chicken club sandwich. Crispy chicken fresh tomatoes and melted cheese with blue cheese yum. I love their jar desserts but decided against getting one this visit. The drive thru was quick, and the attendant was very nice.

Go in knowing what you're getting, it's pretty good. Like a southern style canes. It's a little pricey for what you get IMO. I would go back tho

This was my first time going to Slim Chickens and it was delicious. My daughter and I went through the drive thru. Very quick and friendly customer service. She and I ate all of our food in the parking lot before we left, which was unintentional, but the food was just so good. lol she ordered the kids Mac n cheese meal that came with a drink and Texas toast. I ordered the chicken strips meal that came with fries and Texas toast. I also got the garlic parmesan sauce. The sauce was so unique and the perfect balance to my meal. For dessert we ordered a Praline Pumpkin Cheesecake jar, which don't even get me started...was so good! I'm a huge pumpkin fan so my standards are pretty high for anything pumpkin . The jar is layered with chucks of the pumpkin cheesecake, whipped cream, and pecan praline. It's like the first day of fall in your mouth. Now, we went to the Slim Chickens closer to our house in Houston on FM 1960 twice since having this delicious experience and our food was not on the same level as this one in Katy. So it may be a hit or miss with various locations, but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Katy location.

You can't hate on Slims chickens at all. I prefer Slims over canes anyday. This fast food chicken place offers wraps, tenders, salads and wings! They have many flavors to choose from regarding wings and sauces! I got a 5 & 5 tender/wings combo that includes fries for only $14. Their Parmesan cheese or cayenne ranch flavors are my personal favorite. They also have dessert jars here!!

The food was delicious, everything was fresh, customer service was amazing it's a beautiful place, everyone was nice.

My first time at Slim Chickens, and I was not disappointed! (Except for the fact that the milkshake machine was broken.) The food came out almost immediately after I seated myself. The sweet tea was yummy. I love the ice. The chicken was flavorful, and the sauces added a perfect touch. The French fries are my favorite kind. Super crispy and heavenly with some ranch to dip them in. I will definitely be back.

The food was great. However the restaurant was dirty and the lady at the cash register was not very helpful. We had never been here before and I asked her a few questions and she just didn't really know anything. The food however was really good. I got the chicken club sandwich but they were out of potato salad . My husband got the chicken tender with the Sriracha garlic sauce and that was amazing. Next time I'll stick with the chicken tenders but they were really good.

Chicken sandwich was super salty and fries were too hard.... Had to blow my horn multiple times just to get my condiments after asking multiple. I know the name happens to be Slim Chicken but there is a SLIM chance of me returning.

Even though I wanted the Cayenne Ranch sandwich, I was served the Buffalo sandwich. Not the type of person to send food but, so I ate it. Three words: It was mid. Nothing special. Slim Chickens is not giving Chik-Fil-A and/or Canes any competition. They should have a spicy sandwich patty. The mac and cheese side was the only above average tasting item during the visit. At the Mercantile Pkwy location in Katy, the supervisors should teach Ramel B. how to talk to people. That's all.

Second time trying to order via Uber food but the still can't get my order, then the cancel it. Terrible delivery.

Will never eat there again, stop n got 6 piece finger and fries and they cut fingers n half u could fit a 6 pieces n fries in a hammer box totally disappointed

If I could give this a zero stars I would. They charged me $23.24 for a combo only to receive the complete wrong order. I order chicken wings and received chicken strips. I ordered fried pickles and received fries. I ordered ranch and received some weird sauce. This was all through Uber eats which charged me a delivery fee plus the tip. Do not order from them through Uber eats, your order will be wrong.

We ordered wings which was perfect and chicken tenders which no one could eat because it was so salty. Called the manager Sharon to let her know and she said that is the bread they use and no one has complained before, i told her I was bringing this to her attention because this was our first time and it was bad she still was adamant. Needless to say this will be our first and last time. We didn't want a refund or anything just letting her know but she was defensive when she was not even at the location to know what was going on.

I've seen these places around, but never stopped in. Today, out of convenience, I gave them a try, and I'm glad I did! I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich. As I placed my order, I asked the lady behind the counter if this is a good choice and she replied, "all our chicken is delicious." Well, my sandwich was quite good. The chicken portion was tender and juicy and the Buffalo sauce had just enough heat to add that flavor I enjoy so much. Accompanied by a glass of freshly brewed iced tea, and this was a winner. Nice job, I'll be back!

First off, our toast was rock hard. It must've been sitting out for over a day. Our food looked and tasted as if it was on a 30 minute Uber delivery. Everything tasted the opposite of "Made to Order". The tenders and the coating was though, not as juicy how it use to be. Lukewarm food. Our Cayenne Ranch tasted watered down and didn't have much of a kick to it. The mac and cheese was the best out of everything even then..prices increased by 1.50-2.00 now. Not their fault, but honestly the worst experience I've had since first discovering this place since opening. Shame because we really loved Slims for many years

A quick stop at Slim Chickens was a great decision! Their salads were so good! Try their grilled chicken and strawberries salad with raspberry vinaigrette!

Honestly this place is getting ridiculous. I love slim chickens food but they need new managers or something. Went last night and they were closed an hour early! Tried to do tonight and they are out of fries. It's something every night at this point and I'm sick of it.

Hit or miss type of food spot. Last time I had a great chicken sandwich but this time I ordered two and they were both tough as leather, ruined this spot for me. Sticking with Popeyes for my next chicken sandwich. Horrible service at the register too. Skip on the salty mushrooms too.

left very unsatisfied with my order I ordered a side of fries which had few fries like someone had eaten half of them (picture included) , ordered a side a fried mushrooms which had fried chicken bits the person I ordered them for is vegan!!! that can be extremely dangerous! to top it off no condiments were given to dip my food in.

This was out BEST Mistake EVER!!! We are traveling from Texas to NY, we pulled off to grab something quick, missed the street we where to turn down, and went to turn around, and saw slim chickens! We pulled into the middle lane and I asked my husband to look up reviews real quick. I had never heard of this place we wanted a quick meal and we just wanted it taste good. He said "they have a 4/5", so we said, "lets give it a shot". We went through the drive thru BEST!!! I got the club chicken, chocolate shake, fried mushrooms, i chose the Korean sauce, he got the tender bowl. The mushrooms where hot, crisp.... Amazing. Same with the sandwich.... His tender bowl was amazing, mac and cheese was creamy, smooth, delicious! Shakes where perfect. We wish we had one where we live..... upscale fast food.... We where both totally impressed!

Was way too excited to try this place. Very disappointed. It had some good points. The amount of sauce, ways they prepared their chicken was pretty amazing! We ordered our food and had to wait a while(wasn't too worried. We love hot fresh food) The food was cold. We have an air fryer so we just warmed it up. Let's just say, it wasn't worth it. The taste was lacking! Just wish I would of followed the other reviews! Oh well it was worth the try! I'll stick to Laynes chicken. They have AMAZING jalapeño ranch dipping sauce!

If I could give the place no stars I would. I applied for this job a few weeks ago. The hiring manager JULIO hired me on the spot and told me the pay was 10$ an hour at the interview, I then went in to fill all my paper work out and on the paper work it said 9$ for the hourly pay. When I questioned him about it he told me that he would raise the pay after 3 months. I professionally told him how it wasn't right to tell that the pay would be something that it's not and from that day on none of the managers answered my calls or messages. So basically I got wrongfully terminated from this job and people smoke in the kitchen which is very unsanitary. I also will be reporting them to HR

Wow...just wow. Ever since I moved over here to Katy, my friends keep telling me to just go try Slim Chicken. So finally I did and Yea I can't believe I just wasted $20.00 on this half cooked, cold chicken that seems like it wanted to be fried but they forgot how to fry it. I'm beyond disappointed in the quality of how everything was half cooked with regards to the temperature and taste.

Just tried their spicy Nashville sandwich and it's not as advertised. Their poster showed the battered chicken fillet is fried spicy. When I ordered that at a store and found out it is different. What I got was their regular battered fried chicken and spicy source poured on top then adding bread. The excessive spicy source was tasteless and so much and dripped out on the paper. Very disappointed for a slim Chicken product. Not going back

Horrible!! First time going , wings were horrible hard old and cold and I ordered Buffalo. Worst than cafeteria food at school. Grilled tenders rubber reheated and tasteless (old). HEB TENDERS AND WINGS in bag are Michelin star compared to this $20 wasted. They need to stop this foolishness serving old used tasteless reheated like warm food is just WRONG!

I really liked the portion sizes for the price. My husband got the mix-and-match with the wings and tenders and really like that we dined in and it was great.

First time here, the restaurant only has three tables with customer, the remainder of the place is empty. The issue is, almost every table was dirty, and the floors had trash and food, almost under every table. It is a fast food chicken place, similar to Chick fila. I prefer Chick fila a million times. Was not impressed one bit. Very disappointed, it had good reviews and I came with an open mind and empty stomach.

Didn't get a chance to dine in but went through the drive through. Service was great. The employee who took our order helped us navigate the menu since this was our first time visiting. Let me tell you, chick fila better watch out because this place knows damn well how to season their chicken. The chicken was so tender and very moist. The marinade this place uses works wonders. For fried chicken, the strips and sandwich were surprisingly light. Not some heavy gut bomb. The fries were crisp and the coleslaw was creamy. Sometimes fast food is really not the best but you have little places like this that are worth the try, at least once. I say that because this particular chain is uncommon in our area. They have a variety of dipping sauces. The Korean BBQ sauce is on point! Highly recommend trying the Korean BBQ sauce as well as the Inferno sauce. They have several sauce flavors to choose from. Overall, worth a visit.

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have better reviews. I've been here about 5 times and each time has been a HIT. They have the best sauces for dipping too. The fries and chicken are always hot and seasoned. The cheesecake jars are delicious. The Oreo shakes or delicious. The tenders are always cooked just right. The potato salad and Mac and cheese are bomb . I also had the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was good! Better than BWW wrap. I've had the Buffalo ranch chicken sandwich and it was super bomb . Honestly idk why their reviews are not higher.

Heard there was a Chicken & Waffles special today ($5 with drink) so I came in to give it a try and it was GOOD! I wouldn't try chicken & waffles at many fast food places but I'm glad I tried it at Slim's. I love how my food is always made fresh here so that made it even better. I also really like Mac n Cheese as well as the lemonade here. The mac n cheese is honestly just really, simple but really good. The lemonade must be made in house. It's not too sweet and has the perfect balance of lemon juice and sugar.

I frequent Slim Chickens about once every 1-2 months. It's good food, but it isn't something that knocks me off my feet! The food is always fresh and hot. If you like your wings crunchy - just ask for them to be fried "hard" or "extra crispy". The last couple of times I've been there I felt like they could keep the place cleaner and the bathrooms. The dessert jars are sinful! I love that they are in mason jars too...I definitely repurposed them.

Food is great this is my second time coming here. Portions are huge and filling! Julio helped me out while ordering my food and even came up to me to say that I can get a free brownie for dropping a rating!

Should be called "substitute chickens" not Slim Chickens. They had absolutely no problem selling me substitute chicken strips without any disclosure upfront. Unfortunately I didn't notice the chicken was not the typical slim chicken strips until I got home. Contacted the manager when I get home and he said that they had run out of chicken strips, and these were there substitute. Again, I was sold substitute chicken at the full price of their meal. All the manager could say was "that's just how it is, sorry". Substitute chicken was horrible, false marketing and poor management

Average overall , don't expect your food to be hot/fresh if going through drive thru. Buffalo isn't really spicy or hot and they are stingy with the sauce always ! But service is always great !

My boyfriend really likes their chicken tenders and fries, but I haven't had the chance to try it until today. We came on a Friday afternoon for lunch and it was not very busy, so the line was short and quick. Orders are made at the counter and they bring you your food. He got the usual 5 tenders, fries, Texas toast, and a drink. I got the Buffalo Grilled Chicken Wrap with fries (I know. Why did I do that? Your girl's gotta watch her calories ok?). I took a bite of my boyfriend's tenders and it was really good! I wasn't thrilled with my wrap though. While there was a good amount of chicken in it, there was barely any sauce and definitely no "Buffalo" to it. Plus it kept falling apart while I was eating. The one thing that sets them on a higher scale from Raising Canes is their fries. Much much better than Canes! Crispy, hot, seasoned. Everything else though? Definitely comparable. Maybe next time I'll have a cheat day and get the tenders and wings. Mistake was mine for choosing that "Buffalo" wrap.

This spot was great, I would go as far as saying that it is as great, if not better than it's closest competitor: Cane's. I loved the vibe of this place, there definitely a lot of space and a patio area (these are great to see during the age of COVID-19). The girl working the front was very sweet, we ordered some Mac & Cheese with chicken in it, chicken strips, and a sandwich (the whole family came, so it was a pretty big meal). It was pretty cheap, and not over 40 bucks. We really enjoyed ourselves and would go again. The chicken tasted fresh and delicious, and the southern hospitality was evident! Check it out, this aint no slim chicken!

This was my first time trying the place, and I had heard good things about it, but I am a true Cane's fan. I went in with an open mind and wanted to try something new and different. I like that when I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, however, the cashier seemed to be struggling and was taking quite a while to help the customer in front of us. Another person came over to assist and take our order, which she took and completed, while the customer that was there before me was still waiting for her order to be completed by the cashier. If you see a one of your team members struggling, it would be polite to help them, even though there's a line, you could tell that the customer was annoyed. Anywho, I liked the wide variety of items on the menu that they had, which makes it better than Canes in this sense. They had chicken and waffles, which my friend got, and I must say, the waffle was definitely one of the best waffles I have ever had. However, the chicken was so so. It came with 3 chicken tenders on top. I myself ordered the chicken wings, garlic parmesan, and they were just ok. They were cooked crispy, like I like, however, there was no real flavor to the wings, therefore, they didn't stand out to me. My mom ordered wings as well, all flats, but her meal came out incorrect, so she wasn't too satisfied. I am giving a 3 because the food was hot, and fresh, but it lacked flavor. The employees seemed to be in a good mood, the only other issue I had is that there were ants on my table. Everytime we got rid of one, another one would show up. So...there's that. I don't like eating with ants on my table. I don't know if I would go back, and if so, it would only be for the waffle!

I was in the area yesterday so I decided to stop in and try them out. I had read numerous review but I like to reserve judgement for myself. You walk up and order at the counter and you are given a number and your order is delivered to your table. I had the 3&3 plate which comes with 3 tenders and 3 wings. They were very tasty to me. They came with 2 dipping sauces which were blue cheese for me. The wings and tenders were pretty meaty and were cooked to my satisfaction. You had a lot of drink choices with several types of teas as well as fountain drinks. I had no service issues and there were people constantly coming in while I was there @3 pm on a Saturday! It looked like there were going to be no where to sit when I left as the line approached the door. I will definitely go back.

DO NOT GIVE SLIM CHICKENS YOUR BUSINESS. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND DECEPTIVE IN THEIR PRACTICES. We would normally take advantage of Slim Chickens Wednesday Chicken and Waffles special for $5.99. Out of convenience, we downloaded the Slim Chickens app so that I could place the orders over the app while my wife would go by the drive thru to pick up the order. I had the app linked to my credit card. Every Wednesday, we ordered four orders of the Chicken and Waffles and were charged $9.99 for each order, meaning $4 per order more than the special price. After having placed nine orders of the same 4 Chicken and Waffles meals, we noticed that we were not charged the $5.99 price. It took me three separate emails over about a month and a half just to get somebody from Slim Chickens to even respond. Today, their area manager informed me that they would not be refunding me the $144 we were overcharged because the Wednesday Chicken and Waffles special is only good if you order in the drive thru or dine in. This in not acceptable, is false advertising and deceptive. First of all, nowhere on the Slim Chickens app does it say that the $5.99 special price does not apply to app orders and, secondly, it makes no sense because we are placing the orders thru the app for convenience and at STILL PICKING UP THE ORDERS IN PERSON. How does that not qualify for the special price? If we were getting it delivered, then I would understand, but that's not the case with us. It's a shame that Slim Chickens has chosen dishonest business practices over truth in advertising and customer loyalty. This is the Slim Chickens Katy location at 23320 Mercantile Pkwy.

I would give it a zero if I could!!!! They put absolutely no seasoning on the chicken. Their chicken is so disgusting!!! My dog wouldn't eat this mess!!I wasted $20 and still need to go get some food from somewhere else!!!!!!

Return visit for me and still not impressed, though a slight improvement verses my first visit. This time it was drive-thru. I know, not the best choice if I want to judge the whole experience, but it puts an emphasis on just the food, and with that being said, the chicken is still average but the fries were better with their crispness and the seasoning seemed a little stronger, both pluses. This time we ordered a 7 piece with country gravy, and all I can say is there wasn't enough! Perfect consistency and texture, just the right amount of salt and pepper. Not to often can you get this style of bright white country gravy this far east, I guess because of the Cajun influence? The buttered toast slices where also better than average because they were so light and fluffy, toasted with just the right amount of brownness, and very buttery. But the chicken hasn't changed. I wish it had something extra to match the extra price. A chik-fil-a breading gives the tenders that microwaved texture, ie soft. The chicken meat itself is still under-moist, and relatively flavourless. It needs help, or even masking, with the sauces. If I pay for premium chicken, I expect it. I will obviously be back, maybe just for the fries and gravy.

Slim Chickens is another quick service restaurant with tasty food. Chicken & Waffles! Yes, SC has Chicken & Waffles. My entire family ordered Chicken & Waffles and enjoyed it. We received a basic, Texas-shaped waffle, but I liked the big pieces of white meat in the chicken tenders, not overly done with breading, and perfectly-sized for dipping in syrup. Three people for $25. Not bad for the price. We will return. Not really sure if there is anything else on the menu that will lure us away from the delicious Chicken & Waffles, but we will return.
