Fun double floor bar with an edgy vibe. They have great drinks at great prices. This bar is over 25 years old and Raleighs oldest music venue. There is a pool table and pinball games upstairs, smoking outdoors, and dogs are allowed. There's a parking deck right beside the bar with 2 hour free parking. Made for a fun way to kick off our Saturday.

I love Malort; I search it out in every city I travel to. This place has A LOT OF IT, and I love that. I was very happy that Slim’s serves Malort.

Nice atmosphere. Pool table and pinball upstairs. Cool little dive spot to catch an open mic on a Tuesday night...just don't try to be fun with the female bartender...she is not.

Had a few drinks here it was great. Nice and quiet but that's probably because I was a lot of snow and nobody was really out and about. The staff was friendly great atmosphere if they serve food I had no clue but again that was really way past dinner time when I was there.

It’s a dive bar for all the punk rockers of Raleigh. The service is exactly what’s expected for a dive. Not awesome but not horrible. It makes me think of San Francisco a little. They have live music some nights in a tiny stage and a great outside patio area. Don’t roll in here wearing vineyard vines okay, come in ripped jeans and a ramones shirt or flannel.

Went there with a group of 10 people. The atmosphere was ok. But what killed the whole vibe was the bartender. She (long brown with glasses) was just unfriendly. Not very pleasant. I will return in hopes of a better experience. But this time was not good.

It's your friendly neighborhood dive bar! Great back patio area, pool and pinball upstairs. Thor's trivia on Monday evening is fantastic! The staff is amazing! Thanks Chris, Chip, and Nate for always making me feel like family! ❤️

Amazing service, great music, and an incredible patio in a cool location! A local band was playing, adding to the fun vibe. The staff even helped me find a great pizza spot nearby—so glad I came back!
