Atlanta Restaurants With Activities, Games, & Eatertainment - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"If it’s been far too long since you cursed at a giant screen of Pac-Man desperately trying to eat the final dot, then head to Slingshot Social in West Midtown to rectify this consuming problem. They have every kind of game imaginable, from digital selections like Galaga and Big Buck Hunter to tactile options like basketball and Dance Revolution. You can get electronic wristbands for the beer wall (think Pour), making it easy to refill drinks while you heckle your friends playing Skee-Ball. You’re not really here for the food, but the nachos with spicy chili and jalapeños or the pretty standard hot dog with fries are decent when you need a break from your losing streak in duckpin or jet pong." - nina reeder, demarco williams, juli horsford, jacinta howard

If you’re look for a place for a fun night out with friends and family or to have an event, Slingshot Social is it! I rented out their Atlanta location for a private event and definitely wasn’t let down. The atmosphere was great, they had multiple different games, but I have to say, the food & drinks, the best thing there. They had multiple varieties on the menu! The owner and staff members were extremely helpful when my event was being ran. I definitely will be hosting here again!

Google
Terrible experience!!. The place was dirty, and out of the 20 games available, only 10 worked—and none were partner games. While the menu seemed large, the only food available was wings and fries (which were decent at best). The drinks were good but overpriced. This feels like a spot for adults who just turned 21 and need somewhere to hang out. To make matters worse, when we brought up the issue of the games taking our money to the manager, he said, “I can’t do nothing about it.” The security guard, noticing how frustrated we were, kindly sent us money via CashApp, but that’s not enough to make us come back. We won’t be returning.

Utopia • Creator Sorry not Sorry the games are old old and not like Dave&Buster games. Not even close! BUT I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK FOR THE BARTENDERS DRINKS ASK 4(Tamara) on SATURDAYS (MAIN DAYS BUT SOMETIMES) FRIDAYS From 9pm-2am (adults only)!! Ask for her and your drinks will be on point! There is a wall of BEAR but you must be a BEAR LOVER TO ENJOY that part of this location. THE BLUEBERRY CIDER IS GREAT FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO TRY IT OUT FOR THE 1st TIME. Now as as far as the games. There is a kiddie bowling area but the ball makes this cracking sound as it hits the floor!😖headache easily! Over all it’s like a college campus hangout spot! To drink, chill & be social.

Google
Okay so after many screenshots I’ve taken and ads popping up on my Instagram to check this place out, a couple of my friends and I finally decided to go. First off, it’s decently located, I was worried about parking cause we all know Metro Atlanta/Downtown Atlanta parking gets weird, where I parked was free and my car was still in one piece when I came back to it, also they have security that make rounds here, so that’s a plus (this was on a late Friday evening/night) The arcade itself was cute, it has a lot more lounge space than game space in my personal opinion. I thought there would be more games but all the games I preferred were there so I wasn’t mad at it. The person manning the front desk was not friendly at all, it was our first time so we were unsure of the check in process and began to ask questions; mid question they just pointed us to the card machine, no hey, hello, nothing, not even a “right over there.” I work in C/S (customer service) so I’m big on C/S and I did not enjoy being treated like a bother immediately on arrival but I digress. Let’s carry on. The drinks were a bit pricey and did not give what it should’ve gave for the price. The drink was the size of a double shot (I did get it w/o ice so that may be taken into account but even the cup it was given to me in was somewhat like a shot cup lol) and tasted like juice and I believe we paid about $13 each for drinks, so we were one and done on that note. Also the bartenders took a very long time to acknowledge us although it wasn’t that busy, but they were kind though. We played a few games but as stated before there weren’t that many, at least not many that were fun AND operable. Several of the games were O/S (out of service) or you could play them but you couldn’t earn anything from playing them because they were “broken”. Not sure if the bowling was available cause that area was kinda dark and closed off so we assumed it was inoperable or closed. We spent about a good hr there before getting bored and leaving. Didn’t try the food so I’m unsure of the taste & pricing on that. The bathroom was spacious, mostly clean, very well lit. Overall, it’s a decent lil spot if you’re going on a quick date night or quick hang out and don’t want a long outing; it’s just enough to keep you entertained for about 2 hrs or less in a low pressure environment. Would try it out again for a date night or quick meet up but not for an actual night out or event.

Traveled an hour to enjoy 30 mins of fun. We arrived at 12:55 the security said they were closed and looked at his phone as we watched people still inside playing and having a good time

Google
First time visiting this adult arcade and it was just ok. You have to pay for parking. They have security at the door and he checks your bag also. Dave and Busters or Main event is a better option. The music is so loud like a club. You have to speak in your party’s ear to hear you. They don’t have too many games and you have to squeeze thru people to get by. One of the games kept rebooting and we just left after that because it ruined the fun plus we had to stand in line for every game because it was packed. The drinks are kinda expensive too, $23 for a Long Island.

Decided to meet another couple here on Saturday afternoon around 4:30 for food, drinks & games. The tables were dirty & sticky so we had to find someone to clean up.The floors were sticky as well & needed to be mopped . My man & I shared the Nachos & they were actually better than I expected & came with guacamole, sour cream & salsa! We ordered margaritas & they were good as well. We played duckpin bowling & that was fun. Played Galaga which is my All-Time favorite arcade game. Also enjoyed Ms Pac-Man & the basketball shooting game. It’s a good place to go & have some fun! It is kid friendly as well.

Google
I love the idea of this spot! I know there is the main event, and Dave and busters, but I like the fact that this place does not allow children at a certain time. that sells me every time. cool spot for a nice date night, also a team builder or family gathering tonight at 10/10 I will come with my family again.

Yelp
Came for a birthday party but I highly doubt I'll ever return. This place is a money pit. $20 cover and for what? Half of the games don't work or don't work properly to actually play a full game. I put $40 on a game card and regretted it after realizing the games I wanted to play were broke down. Bowling was out of order and that's what the birthday girl really came for but we weren't told it was out of order until after they got the $20 cover from all of the group. Drinks weren't good the juice tasted weird that was used in the gin& juice it was papaya juice supposedly and I love papayas so when I took that first sip i instantly was like this isn't right. Ordered wings took 51 minutes to get my food see attached photos lol no ranch or ketchup. Luckily the fries didn't need it but I def needed some ranch for these wings. Buffalo lemon pepper and honey hot were the flavors I got but I could barely taste the lemon pepper. There's a vending machine to get non alcoholic drinks (insert side eye) $2 for a mini sprite. I'm real life disappointed and was expecting way more based on TikTok and other reviews I saw. The beer tap was also out of order so that was disappointing. The DJ saved the the night and luckily the groups vibes kept the night positive. 2 people $7 parking $40 entry $48 2 order wings and 1 order fries $53 for 3 shots $42 two mixed drinks $40 game card $4 two mini sprites

Yelp
So if you want to play some games, this is the place to go. It's kind of an adult gaming kind of situation but you can bring kids I assume. But it has beer taps and a full bar so it's not like it's going to be only kids there. I would assume that after a certain time it's only adults. Honestly I'd rather be only adults lol. You get here you have to pay the park so be aware. You'll go ahead and pay on the app in the parking lot so don't think that be able to skate with free parking in this area lol. But this area has a lot of other things around it so if you did park somewhere else and walk around this would not be a bad place to do it at. You'll go ahead and come in and after your greeted you can go wherever you please. You can hit a left and head toward the gaming area. You can go further left and go toward the beer tap area. You can sit on one of the couches that they have that look pretty comfortable. You can go toward the mini bowling game area. Or you can head to the bar. So they have a little arcade section. It's not like a full arcade but they have plenty of games that can be fun to play. Multiplayer games, beer pong, quite a few options at this spot. The beer tap is a wall that has a bunch of taps on it, so you can probably find something that really gets your attention if you look hard enough. And there at least 10 to 15 of them, so there's no short of ones that you can try. If you would rather go to the bar, that should be fine as well. The bar is a very large and long bar so you shouldn't have a problem getting to the bar top. Now when I was there they didn't have seats at the bar so you may have to stand there to place your order and go back to your seat. I know some places do like to have cease that they put out for patrons at the bar top. I got a couple of shots, green tea shots, and it was really affordable. I paid under $15 for two, and giving the fact that it's Atlanta, that's a damn good price lol. Ended up doing the mini bowling, which was actually pretty cool if you've never done it before. Biggest thing that I have issue with is the fact that the machine kept breaking down or kept getting stuck or whatever it was doing. The way the bowling pins are, they're many bowling pins that use a mini bowling ball for. Depends don't go inside of the machine to reset, they are pulled on a string after you bowl. So our strings kept getting tangled in the machine end up shutting down a couple of times. We ended up leaving. It wasn't that big of a deal because I think it was like $12 to play, so I didn't mind the money part because it was really pretty cheap. And this is not bashing the spot at all, we had a really good time there while we were there, but I'm just saying my experience was good but the machines didn't like us apparently lol. Overall I enjoyed it. I would consider going back. They had a plethora things to do, the drinks were good and not overly priced, and the area that is saying is a lot of fun.

Yelp
Slingshot Social Games offers a fantastic blend of fun and entertainment for all ages. The vibrant atmosphere is perfect for socializing, featuring a variety of engaging games that keep everyone entertained. The food options include classic bowling alley type fare like mozzarella cheese sticks, pizza, and wings etc. which are sure to satisfy your cravings. Plus, there's a full bar for adults looking to enjoy something stronger alongside their soft drinks. With friendly staff and a lively less crowded vibe, Slingshot Social Games is a must-visit destination for a memorable night out with loved ones.

Yelp
My friends and I went here to help celebrate a friend's birthday. Upon arrival, you park in a lot where you have to pay of course. When we walked in there was absolutely no employee near the entrance. No one to greet. No one to explain what to do. Seemed quite awkward. Eventually we figured out where we needed to get our game play cards from. We purchased the cards and got on our way to the bar. Someone did come out at the bar to take our drink orders. The bartender was really nice and made good drinks. I did appreciate that the drinks were served in a reusable glass instead of a disposal plastic cup. Note: We ate before getting here, so I don't know what the food is like. After getting our drinks, we went off to play games. We were thinking it would have more games but after a few, it started to get boring. Plus, the atmosphere inside of there wasn't an exciting one for game play. There was no music playing the entire time there and sometimes all you heard was the sound of the machines running. Very strange. I don't know if the experience is better if we would've went in the evening as we went midday. But I wouldn't put this place high on my list of things to do.

Yelp
Games are outdated most are broken, the place is a sweat box, all of the beer dispensers were out of order. The wings are Terrible!!

Yelp
Went on a Sunday. It was just me and my friend in the entire building. I was surprised. It was a nice time. Food and service was great. A lot of the items on the menu was sold out though. That was kinda disappointing. The peach cider was delicious. Everything was pretty much self serve. Few complications with some of the games but nothing major. I would go again.
google avatar

Yelp
The food and drinks were great! We had a lot of fun playing ohhh skeet skeet skeet ball!

Yelp
Walking in, all the games caught my attention immediately. So I thought it was kind of cool they had so much to pick from when it came to activities. No prizes like for kids. Just playing games and having fun with friends is the goal here. The food was ok. Mediocre bar food is what I was expecting and is what I got with the pepperoni flatbread and sweet potato fries. There's a beer wall where you can pick from all types but there my card wasn't working with the machine, even tho I'd already bought food and a game. So that was a little disappointing and weird. But overall, I had a good time with my friend. I'd be willing to try it again. Just would eat before I go if I want to be more satisfied. I'd suggest they do more hiring as well. It wasn't super busy but there were only two people available for anything.
google avatar

Alexis S.

Yelp
Sling shot was definitely an experience. Would I go back, maybe. A lot of the games were not working. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would have been. They were severely short staffed. I didn't get a chance to really try anything other than the beer. The one line that they did have was extremely long. Overall I did not enjoy myself whatsoever. We wasted our time.
google avatar

Jeanita O.

Yelp
Two of the games that I wanted to play most were shut down. I expected a better variety of games and food to choose from. Overall, I'd return again later in the afternoon, instead of arriving at opening hours. We waited outside for the doors to be unlocked, which was frustrating since parking isn't free, and we wanted to be on time. The music and decor were ok. The lounge chairs were modern and attractive for taking pictures.

Briana B.

Yelp
They could start by cleaning the place, it has roaches. Food is terrible, games and beer wall are non functional. A waste of space honestly. They stay empty for a reason.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
Basically an even more adult/party oriented Dave & Busters. They don't have a ton of games so come here more to just chill, enjoy the music, and maybe play a game or two. The drinks seemed reasonably priced, but I was a big fan of the beer wall. I don't even drink beer but they have a good selection of cider's too. Beware of nearby parking! The signs may not be super visible but you will have to pay. Our group and about 5 other people got their cars booted because we didn't see the signs about payment.

Maurice B.

Yelp
We came at 3pm on a Saturday. We had to pay to park in the parking deck, but it's Atlanta of course. The place isn't big, but personally, I liked the 10-12 games they did have. Not all were kiddy arcade games. I did NOT like how they weren't staffed/prepared. It was only 1 associate (the bartender) and a manager. We couldn't play bowling because the associate told us the guy who's stationed for bowling today isn't at work yet. I had a $17 Remy Martin Side Car drink. Overpriced, small, and it gave me a headache. They weren't busy, but definitely could have used 2 more associates to help with directions, questions, broken game refund, bowling. There are no prizes or tickets, so it's really for SOCIALIZING. Good for a small group of friends, or a one time date (go early tho).
google avatar

Rae J.

Yelp
We wanted to come in -- looks like they don't take reservations. There's no phone number to call, and they don't respond to Instagram comments, messages rarely. I sent a message asking a question and they say my message and didn't respond. When we pulled up, a security guard told us they were closed for a private event --- even though they'd been posting on social media all day and mentioned nothing about it! Should've listened to all the negative reviews, definitely won't be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Perfect fun and games place for a casual Friday date night. Loud music, assorted games to include bowling . Good food and drinks. Lots of lounge seating and vibrant atmosphere.I got great service from the Varro
google avatar

Brensi M.

Yelp
I was there on Saturday afternoon. We got 2 drinks at the bar and then went the couch area before checking out the games. It wasn't crowded but most of the couches were full, the tables were open as it is a sit yourself place. You need to get a card with credits to play most of the games. There is a variety of games to select from. This is a fun cool spot to take the family to play or just go on a date and hang out. Definitely coming back here.

Meka D.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday about 10:30pm. Gps led me to parking but at the top. It took a minute to find the location. It wasn't super packed, which I loved. No long lines to play games. The drinks were strong but good. I loved the self ordering. I had the flatbread pepperoni pizza. It was good. Loved you got a text when your food was ready. The venue is small offering a few arcade games. There were also some games at the tables if you wanted to sit down and play games while you eat. I feel like there there's potential here. DJ was on point. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great for a nice date night spot

Yelp
Met up with a friend here for a bit of weeknight fun, let's talk about it. Location and Parking They are located on Marietta Street, right before the Howell Mill split. You will need to park and go downstairs to access the venue (they have an elevator). Parking is NOT free, so please pay attention because the signs aren't obvious. Venue and Atmosphere We came on a Tuesday evening. Seating is self-serve, however you will check in with the host if you want to purchase drinks from the beer wall. Seating consists of couches, coffee tables, and high top tables. You order food from a kiosk, then pick it up from the window when they call out your order number. We did not play any games tonight, but most of the games were flashy and appeared to be working well. 3/6 skee-ball machines were down, and one bowling lane was non-functional as well. Food and Beverages The food was average at best. The nachos were flavorful but some chips were burnt. The pizza was below average, as the crust was greasy and lacked flavor. The cheese sticks tasted like they were frozen and barely deep fried before serving. The only good thing about the food was that it was a Tuesday special and everything was only $5. The beer wall however, is much better. There is an extensive selection of beer, cider, and wine for self service and you are charged per ounce. Simply tap your bracelet, and pour the amount you desire. There is a 32 oz limit, however. There is a $25 deposit but that is refunded to your card after you return the bracelet. If liquor is more your sped, there is a full bar available as well. Service Everything is pretty much self serve, and we did not order drinks at the bar. The staff members we spoke to were friendly. Verdict I'll come back for the beer wall and games, but I am not eating their food again.

Yelp
Came here to have fun while out with friends. We had heard about this place on social media but none of us had ever been. When we entered, we were a bit disappointed. It was really small and even though it looked empty, there was a long wait for every activity. We put ourselves on the list to do Duck Bowling which was an hour wait. We got a few drinks and opted to go somewhere else.

Yelp
I came here on a Friday night with my cousins. It's a cute spot, basically an arcade with a bar. It also had some mini bowling lanes and skee ball lanes which I thought was unique I haven't seen that at any of the other adult bowling, arcade places. They had a decent sized arcade area with a nice variety of games to play from. The games were affordable. For $10 you got 40 credits which was plenty. We left with credits still on our cards. There was a nice amount of seating for both those who reserved bowling lanes and those who just wanted to sit. The music was on point. I'm a rap fan and that's what they were playing so I enjoyed that. I didn't order any food or drinks but there is a full bar and full wall of draft beer selections. I didn't get the vibe that there were servers at this place it's more of a self serve or go up to the bar and place an order. I give it 3 stars because it wasn't very clean. Tables were left with trash and it didn't look as though they were going to be cleaned anytime soon. It's not as big as some of the other late night gaming spots so you might have to wait on some of the games, or just grab a drink and chill. Parking was plenty. The location is apart of larger building with other business so there's a decent sized lot. It was $7 for 2 hours of parking. I wouldn't rush to go back but I'd recommend it for a fun stop on a night out.

Yelp
Very cool spot to hang whether it's a date night type of situation, or hanging out with friends. Even going solo isn't bad! The atmosphere is very welcoming and laid back. Drinks were amazing I had a slim shady! If your hungry you will order food at kiosk. They also have a beer dispenser! Live musics and games! Certainly coming back

Yelp
I had a chance to check out Slingshot one evening during the week. Honestly it was just an okay experience. They had self service so you order your food on a monitor then get notified to pick up your food. I had wings and fries. The fries were good but the wings reminded me of those frozen store bought ones that have a lot of fat on them. I hate those. The margarita was decent. The games were cool but some of the games we wanted to play weren't working. Overall this wasn't the experience I thought it was going to be. I wouldn't be in a rush to return.

Yelp
June 2022* S U M M A R Y My sister and I came here before the Friday rush. We walked in a little after six. It was cool a spot. Good spot for ages 12+ Here's the set up: You can start a tab for their self-service beer wall. Hand in your credit card to the worker in the front and they give you a wristband which you use at the beer wall. That activates the spout for the specific beer you want and allows you to pour as much as you'd like. G A M E S Think Dave n Busters meets Painted Duck We played connect 4 basketball, car racing, dance dance Revolution, skeeball, axe throwing, football, virtual bowling and others. They also have bowling - which we did not do. It is a very large space but i don't know. There just aren't enough games. And id rather go to Dave n Busters. P R I C E Like Dave and Busters, you pay at a machine to get and fill a card with a specific amount of credits. We bought 200 credits for 50$ and split those in half. With that, we got 120 credits complimentary. So that's 160 credits each. We found that each game was about 4 credits. I think we played about 10-15 games so we didn't use more than 60 credits each. I appreciate that the cost was so affordable. Enough that a family could have A LOT of fun for cheap. It was super clean and the bathrooms were clean. Overall I'll return to use the rest of my credits but I don't think I'd be back otherwise

Yelp
Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon and it ended up being trivia night and while it was cool for a while it lasted way too long. We could hardly hear the questions that the host was asking even with her adjusting the mic numerous times. Parking: Although there is an actual parking lot you still have to pay to park which is becoming a trend in Atl that I absolutely hate. The parking is free for 20 minutes but then you have to pay or be booted. We ended up paying $6.75 for 3 hours once we confirmed with the person behind the desk that we could park upstairs because we had no idea that the space was on the lower level as it was our first time. The food: The menu is lackluster at best. You have to order food via their website and create an account to enter your card information and once it is ready you will receive a text message which you then take to the pickup window to retrieve your microwaved items or seemingly anyway. We ordered the $10 chili fries and they were a nice sized portion but needed more seasoning which they apparently know because they offer ranch and blue cheese to accompany this item which we initially declined. The games: There is a nice variety but again they are jammed together so on a busy night I'm not sure how playing comfortably would be, but the night we went it was relatively empty thankfully. The first game we attempted to play didn't have balls so we had to get help with that. And we kind of fizzled out game wise after spending 8 tokens out of our $30 purchased focusing on the beer wall and trivia. Superskee and duck pin are not included with the game card and you have to pay about $4-6 per person for a lane. Four of the lanes were out of service and the ones that were working had screen and ball issues. The beer wall & bar: The host initially told us that there were over 30 different beer options and only 2 were out of order and that turned out to be false. There were way more that were out of order than just 2. Also you have to swipe you card at the front desk in order to get a bracelet for the self service wall, but they restrict you to 32 ounces and charge your card increments of $25 each time and don't forget to check out at the desk and leave the bracelet on your way out the door. My SO enjoyed sampling and finding beer suited to her taste, but I ordered from the bar and they were out of grenadine initially for my rum punch and/or sex on the beach. The bartender told us they would restock on Saturday & Saturday only..... While I like the idea this place is way too small - there just isn't enough space between the games to fully enjoy and way too many inoperable games, items, etc. I also dislike that you have to swipe your card individually for each section of the space. Once for the beer wall, once for the bar, once for the food, once for the arcade style games, and once for any games with lanes. The restrooms were consistently clean and the staff was pretty helpful when they weren't just walking around aimlessly.

Yelp
Had a get together with some friends. I think this would be a nice spot for maybe a date but with my group, it wasn't what we really expected. Plenty of parking. Pay at the booth. When walking in there was no one present. We didn't know what to do. So we walked around and went back outside for a few. We walked back in and the young man was now present...the guy advised of pay to play...getting a card and ordering your food. Just to give us a quick overview. We then went to the bar. No menus. Maybe invest. I love to know what I'm paying for instead of continuously asking how much for this and that. And you have to ask these days. Atlanta and inflation on certain items will definitely have you question before you place an order. But I got a margarita. It was 'meh'. One bartender. Bartender was cool. Some other chick was behind the bar and jokingly asked us what we wanted then said nahhh she doesn't make drinks. We went to the kiosk and placed our food order. So basically you browse the menu, select your items, and pay. You will receive a text when ready and pick up at the window. When we walked up to get our food (received text) the same girl at the bar was making the food. She asked us our numbers again and made the orders. It was kinda unorganized back there with the assembly of food portion. The chicken tenders were horrible. I didn't expect much but definitely not horrible. The batter fell right off. Cold. The fries...cold. We saw her walk thru talking to other people and she asked how was the food. I said not good and my friend as we had the same thing. She looked shocked and began talking to others. Oh well. We did not play any games and decided to partake in afternoon activities elsewhere.

Yelp
This place I also saw via social media and a friend and I decided to check it out, and it was..ok. Let's get into it. Location and Parking They are located on Marietta Street, right before the Howell Mill split. If you're not paying attention you can miss it, I did at first. There are a few other businesses surrounding them and while you can park in those spaces it is NOT free so you absolutely have to look for the signs. There is also parking on the lower level where the venue is located, but I wasn't able to figure out how to get down there. You can take the stairs or the elevator down. Reservations, Venue, and Atmosphere We did not have a reservation when we came, as it was on a Tuesday night so we didn't think there was much of a crowd and we were right. I'm sure they get really crowded on weekends. When you walk in the hostess stand is to the left and she lets you know that the seating is self serve. Seating consists of couches with coffee tables as well a high top tables. The venue is large and the atmosphere is casual, there are ski ball tables to the right, duck pin bowling to the back, and the larger arcade games are also to the left behind the hostess stands. It was a catch up session so we didn't actually play any games that night, but I did notice that half of the skee-ball machines were out of order and so one was one of the bowing lanes. Food and drinks For drinks they do have a full bar, and they also have a beer wall. The beer wall honestly was my fave part of the entire experience. You pay a $25 deposit at the hostess stand but it's refunded to you after you return the bracelet. They have various taps along the walls. Glasses are located on a shelf and after you grab one you tap your wristband against the wall under the beer or cider you want and then you're able to pour from the tap. You're charged by the ounce and you see your total accrue as you poor. It's a few cents an ounce so you can pour quite a bit and try lots of different beers and ciders for not that much. It's really a genius idea. Now the food left much to be desired. You could tell that it was basically all frozen food that had been briefly reheated. My partner and I got nachos, pizza, and cheese sticks. The nachos had flavor, but the chips were burned. The pizza was below average, and the crust was greasy and tasted like nothing, and as a lover of crust that was super disappointing. The cheese sticks tasted exactly like the ones you find in the frozen food section at the grocery store, but they cost twice as much. The only thing that made me not as bitter about it is that on Tuesday all the food is $5, but still not worth it in my opinion Service Everything here is self serve. You order your food from various kiosks placed throughout the venue, and when your food is ready you pick it up from a window. My friend didn't like beer so she ordered from the bar and we had to wait a few minutes for the bar tender to actually show up as they are not stationary at the bar. Verdict My time here was ok. If I come back it'll be for the beer wall and the games only. Until they improve their food I'll make sure I eat before I come. Until next time!

Yelp
It looks really fun in theory, but it definitely needs some improvements. There were a ton of the arcade games that were very old and out of order, and only one lane each of the giant skee ball and duck bowling were working. There was lots of trash on the floor and tables that needed bussing. I will say the drink prices weren't bad compared to most places in Atlanta and the bartender was nice. We got about an hour of fun when we went. Overall fine, but nothing to write home about. We hope they get a better maintenance person and games that aren't super old and worn out, it has a lot of potential.

Yelp
Make sure you have cash for the vending machine inside for drinks. The bar drinks were horrible. The beer from the fountain was not very cold is an OK atmosphere I won't be back.

Yelp
I had a blast! My initial visit was not so gratifying. It seemed like the best games were damaged, needed recalibration or just out of order. I revisited this establishment while attending a P.O.P. (Poetry on Peter) event that was being hosted here. Upon my second visit, most of the games were repaired and in working order. The event itself added tremendously to the atmosphere. You have the option of many arcade games, pin bowling and games such as Jenga or Connect Four. There is even a row of electronic basketball shot games. Some of the balls definitely need to be replaced. If you're feeling competitive, you can play against one another in a few of their selections. I would recommend a group no larger than 4. During the evening, your ID will be requested at the door. I believe minors are denied entry after a certain hour. Food is offered, as well as beer where you are able to serve yourself from a wall of choices. Overall, this place is a good time with the right company.

Yelp
Ok. So inwas exited to try this place out after seeing many videos on social media. Well I'm in my 40's and my man and I felt out of place. Great concept but the crowd is YOUNG!! The food was HORRIBLE. All they have is junk food. Stuff kids like because I surely did not expect to only be able to order wings, chips , candy or a hotdog. Wth!! Dave your money if you are older than 30. Maybe they should do an old school night.

Yelp
The place have a variety of games to play and things to do. The bar took forever to make our drinks but it felt like there is no one walking around cleaning the place. There were empty cups everywhere.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday for a birthday celebration, and it was a blast! I had the lemon pepper wings and fries: the wings were well seasoned (honestly couldn't get enough of them!), but the fries were floppy and mushy. All of the games were a lot of fun especially Mario Cart since you can race against your friends! We also tried bowling, but it kept breaking down or having issues. The staff really helped us with this by putting us in a different lane, but the same thing occurred. We still made the most of it of course! We had a birthday cake, and the staff took the time to find a lighter for us! All in all, it was a fun experience despite a couple issues! I'd also like to shoutout the kindness of the staff throughout the night!

Yelp
First time here and definitely will be the last. No parking, and let me tell you 1/2 the games here don't work. The only thing about this place that's good is the bar and the tap beer, music was good but for a place to play "arcade games" definitely NOT THE SPOT

Yelp
We came out for my friend's birthday tonight. The service was not the best. From the reserving a bowling lane, to ordering food, to the bar tender. It was not a great experience with the service we received

Yelp
Came here with my friend on a Friday night just to have a girls night out. I had the wings and I think they would have tasted better if they didn't combine my two flavors on one. (The screen is a little misleading so it was my mistake) Personally I was not a huge fan of the drinks. I tried the Slim N shady and also a little bit of the slush drink, and they both were really strong. It might have just been the way that they were made that night too, idk. But I think that aesthetically this is a place to come if you just want to have a cute casual nigh out.. BUT if you wanted to come here for a first date or something of that sort, this is not it because it's the music is EXCESSIVELY loud to the point you literally have to yell to talk to someone sitting right next to you.

Yelp
Great concept, low quality. We've come here twice, and while the first time was ok at best (minimal staff and tables dirty), the second time was very disappointing. Every single pinball machine was not working, ALL the Duck pin games were not working properly bc the machine was not dispensing balls, the furniture had cheese and food on it, the food itself is quick bar food, but not very tasty at all, the 2 air hockey games were broken, some of the balls for the basketball and football throwing games were deflated, the front desk attendant (same girl each time) was melancholy and doesn't greet anyone. She just kind of stares in the opposite direction of the door as if she doesn't want to talk to anyone. Not a huge issue just not welcoming you know? This was particularly strange to me as it's a rather new place and ppl walk in and don't know where to start or what to expect or how to register for the games or get the beer wristband until you walk around yourself and see.(they have signs and I can read thank God). The positive things- the games that were working are super fun and they have a good selection! The bartender gave me a free sprite for waiting and that was really nice. Also, I like the concept of ordering off the tablet stations and picking up your food at a pick up window. Very streamlined and quick. The beer wall is pretty cool. They have ample parking. I hope this spot takes head to customer input and fixes all the bugs! I would really love to come back and see things are better.

Yelp
This place was really awesome. I've been to a few social club around Atlanta in this is definitely in my top 5. Starting off at the bar the bartender knew how to pour a shot (heavy handed). She was very quick and attentive to my order. I also ordered the buffalo wings and they were actually spicy and I was surprised but very flavorful. As for the total ambience of the place I'd highly recommend for a adventurous date night or something for guys or a girls night. Honestly, you can go here by yourself and have a good time. They have mini bowling and oversize ski ball which was different and ofc many other kinds of game. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
This was my first time @ Slingshot & I was pleased with the game offerings. The have multiple arcade games, with cup holders for drinks! Plenty of space to sit if you just want to enjoy the music, eat & drink. In the seating area there are jumbo Jenga & Connect 4 games that are complimentary if you're lucky to grab them before their gone. There were a couple disappoints though. When we arrived around 9pm, there was only 1 tequila being served. By the time we went back there was no more! How do you run out of ALL tequila before 10pm?! The 1 of the Skee Ball games took malfunctioned & took our money so I was bummed about that as well. We didn't get any food, but it looked tasty. Keep in mind everything is self service here. You order you food from a kiosk & pick it up @ a window. You must purchase a game card & load it to play most games except 2 games that are $4/per game that you purchase at the gaming attendant desk. They also offer serve your own draft beer with a couple wine option. Self parking is available in a lot (pay via Park Mobile). Overall this is a cool spot & lots of fun for your inner child.

Yelp
My friend and I went to Slingshot after finding it on TikTok during our search for something fun to do in Atlanta. We went on a Friday night at around 7pm so we were one of the first people there. It's an aesthetic and vibrant place with more than enough room to maneuver around. The first stop was at the bar where there were two bartenders ready to make drinks for the customers. My friend and I ordered "snacks" as well which consisted of the french fries and an order of churros which I must say were very tasty, although the frosting could have been heated up a little more. The first game we played was the giant connect four. It held our attention for a while until it was time to explore a new game. The second game was duckpin bowling. That was fun, however our lane as well as the neighboring lane were going through technical difficulties which caused multiple long pauses in the game so the worker could reset the pins. Afterwards the space started filling up with people ready to have fun as the weekend approached. We decided to get arcade game cards and see what games Slingshot had to offer. It was refreshing playing iconic games like foosball and guitar hero as well as playing multiple games that I've never encountered before. The dj did a great job playing music that would be familiar to the crowd and there was also someone celebrating a birthday that night so it was interesting hearing how the dj interacted with them. I would definitely come back here with a group of people and spend a few hours being a grown kid for a night.

Yelp
So as another review stated, Slingshot is just D&B geared towards adults. Not bad, but nothing extraordinary either. The good: adult time after 8:30pm, self serve beer taps and easy food ordering at kiosks. The bad: too damn loud. So loud that it is hard to have conversations, arcade game choices are slim and paying to park. Not worth the drive if you live far unless going with a group. So yeah. Just my 2 cents.

Yelp
Don't waste your time. The games are always broke & the bathrooms are disgusting with toilet paper every where. Last time I was there on a friday, someone threw their tampon on the bathroom floor & it was still there Saturday night. After I told the manager. She wasn't bothered. Gave a 1 star only because I had to give at least 1

Yelp
I went to this place last night. It was okay .... I would not be returning. The food was not good at all and was expensive. They really tasted like something you buy from the grocery store and then they put them in the microwave. The drinks were over priced and they were served in little plastic cups and it was full of ice. There weren't many workers there or workers that you could see that were working. Half of the games weren't working. I really wanted to play some games, but there were no one working on them. They didn't have a sign up or anything that states out of order. Just wasted money. This place has potential, but it wasn't fun at all. I do not recommend.

Yelp
Adult only...I literally had the time of my life. Let's start with the drinks. I had the Georgia peach and Dragonfly; both were delicious. I also tried their nachos and mozzarella stick which were also good. We played skeeball and arcade games all night. I highly recommend going here.

Feletria P.

Yelp
Small. Not many games so don't expect Dave and Buster's or Main Event type of options. Had more club type vibes than anything. Bar service was exceptional.
google avatar

Sesaleigh M.

Yelp
We came to celebrate a birthday because of video we saw on Instagram. The video was very misleading. Half of the games were inoperative and they ran out of alcohol.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was not good. I ordered fries and a chicken sandwich. The fries were literally burnt. The chicken sandwich was alright. The atmosphere was great. Good DJ

Yelp
The food was good and I loved the beer wall! Pac man and connect 4 were my favorite games.

Lyndia H.

Yelp
Slingshot is not what I imagined. Half the games do not work, the music was too loud to be social, customer service was not the service as expected when it comes to the games and making sure the place is clean.

Yelp
All I can say is it's a no for me place was crowded game broke down food small portions large priced keep your money
