Google
It's a very fun coaster, but more geared toward younger folks. They will get a thrill. We waited about an hour to get on. I wouldn't use a fast pass on it. My 13-year-old daughter really wanted to ride it. She loved it. My son did as well and doesn't really like coasters. Fantastic look, and the singing penguin at the end really tops it off. If you're a Toy Story fan, you need to ride at least once

Google
Is the perfect mix of thrills and fun. It’s not too intense, but still gives you those exciting little drops and twists that make you smile the whole time. The theming is adorable..you really feel like you're zipping around Andy’s backyard as a toy. The launch halfway through gives it a nice boost, and the views of Toy Story Land are awesome. Great for kids and adults alike. It’s just a feel-good ride you’ll want to do again! 3 stars because line takes forever. Only 16 persons per slinky dog, 3 slinky dogs on the ride.

Google
Slinky Dog Dash is the perfect mix of family fun and playful thrills! Set in the heart of Toy Story Land, this coaster makes you feel like you’ve been shrunk down to the size of a toy and are racing through Andy’s backyard on the back of Slinky himself. The theming is spot-on—everything from the colorful track pieces to the oversized toys and games scattered around the area adds to the charm. The ride itself is super smooth and surprisingly exciting. It’s not an intense coaster, but it has just the right amount of speed, dips, and twists to make it a blast for both kids and adults. The launch halfway through gives it a fun burst of energy, and the views of Toy Story Land from the top are awesome, especially at night when everything’s lit up. It’s a true crowd-pleaser and definitely one of the highlights of Hollywood Studios. The wait times can get long, but it’s absolutely worth it—or even better, try for a Lightning Lane if you can. Slinky Dog Dash captures the spirit of Disney perfectly—fun, imaginative, and great for all ages. It’s one of those rides you’ll want to hop on again and again.

Google
Slinky Dog Dash at Hollywood Studios is an absolute blast and a must-do for any park visitor! Don't let its Toy Story theme fool you—this coaster offers a surprisingly zippy ride with several fun drops. While the wait time is almost always 60 minutes or more, it's definitely worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed every second and highly recommend making time for it on your next visit.

Google
Another Favorite!!! My 5 yr old grandchild did amazing on this ride! She talked about it even when we got home!! Except she confused “Slinky Dog” for Stanky Dog. It was hilarious. I ride this ride no matter what, when we go to Disney World. Do not miss it. We did pay the extra for LL, lightening lane, to get a quicker wait time. But we Still waited, Much longer than I expected.

Google
Great ride, we rode at night as the park was closing. However, the line was long all day Sunday since it was President's Day weekend. App says 90-minute wait when we got in line at 8:15pm. It felt longer than that.

Travis Bohrer

Google
It's better than I expected. I expected to be another Goofy's Barnstormer or the Hippogriff at Islands of Adventure. In my opinion, this is more fun. The line is pretty long at times. I would recommend Fastpass if the standby line wait time exceeds 40 minutes. In my opinion, it is worth the wait. Fans of the Toy Story franchise will love this ride. Enjoy!

Google
I'll start by saying that this one felt a little more intense than Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Maybe it was because we were in the last car (at the slinky dog tail). I was also seated on the left looking downward on those inside turns. If you're afraid of heights, then this one may not be for you. Otherwise, request to be seated in a middle car on the right side. I actually loved it! Some of those climbs were more steep than I thought it would be. It goes faster over the top than Expedition Everest (IMO). I was screaming like a little girl. I can totally see why it's a popular first choice when it comes to rope drop strategy. Although, the line seems to be longer at other times during the day due to inefficiency (kind of like Peter Pan's Flight). I did read that somewhere. We waited longer simply because the ride was having technical difficulties on a cold Wednesday morning. The cool part was that the line went pretty fast once it officially opened. It was a fun ride! I'd do it again. It was also cool to see the Yahtzee mural. My dad and I used to play that game all the time. It was one of our favorites. The toy soldiers were kind of cool to see as well.

Yelp
A really decent roller coaster, but I don't get the insane appeal. This is consistently one of the highest wait times in WDW, and I don't think it deserves that title. I MUCH preferred Seven Dwarves Mine Train, or Expedition Everest, which both had drastically shorter wait times. It's a "cute" ride, and if you have any Toy Story fans, they will love it, but there is no earthly reason to wait 3 hours to get on this thing.

Yelp
Slinky Dog Dash is a super cute ride at Hollywood Studios. Located in Toy Story Land, it takes you on a rollercoaster where you are "shrunk" down to being toy-sized to take a wild ride. Love the Tinkertoys that frame the rollercoaster as you pass toys strewn across Andy's backyard. So much fun on a cold, but sunny day. Lines are quite long. Grab a fast pass if possible.

Yelp
A pretty decent ride at Hollywood Studios in Toy Story land. It's pretty popular and I'd say it's because it's roller coasty. It goes decent speed and has some twists and turns. Definitely a thrill ride as my niece likes to call it. When I went our group went early to try and beat the line and it was still a decent wait.

Yelp
Wow! Now we know why this ride has a wait time of 45 minutes or more. It is a terrific starter roller coaster for any age. And for those who love roller coasters, it's an incredible experience. We loved it!!

Yelp
A cute and simple ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Located in toy story land this is thee ride to go on. They do have others but if you're a coaster fan, look no more! It's a quick ride with some nice drops, one of which is super steep and if you're in the back of the car, hang on! I absolutely love the theming of the ride and queue, all of which makes it feel like I was shrunk down to the size of a toy! The cast members loading the slinky dog you hop on are extremely friendly and very quick at their job, making sure I don't wait too long to enjoy myself! The ride itself is relatively short so it definitely loses a star because of that in my opinion. The short ride mixed with the insanely long waits, it doesn't seem like an even trade off for this ride. Overall an absolutely great themed ride and a heck of a fun time, even if it is a little short. A must do if you're only here for a day!

Yelp
One of the best rides at Hollywood Studios! We had a ball. I didn't have super high expectations because Disney isn't known for a lot of thrill rides but they are getting there! Slinky Dog is a blast! I was laughing all the way! I am plus size and was having some knee issues and I was able to get on and off without issue. I sat next to a stranger because my party had an odd amount of people and luckily there was enough space where I didn't feel super cramped! Thank you Disney! I would totally ride this again and again!!!

Yelp
Ambiance (5/5): We came to this ride immediately as park opened and used our Genie+ booking. The ambiance was cool and there was many Toy Story posters and decorations. The ride looks like it'd be accomodating to young people just getting into roller coasters and looking for thrills. Intensity (Medium): Thought it'd be faster but it's relatively mild. Regardless still a fun ride. Fun (5/5): We immediately booked this ride with a Genie+ lightning booking. It was a fun rollercoaster that's not too intense but has good speeds. I liked the part where it goes up and down repeatedly short amounts that makes it look like a slingky. Some speed boost parts were awesome as well. Overall a nice refreshing ride.

Yelp
This attraction is great for kids who aren't quite ready for the intense adrenaline of bigger thrill coasters. It's a straightforward ride with gentle turns and a few small bumps to mimic the slinky sensation. However, those little bumps make it less ideal for taller riders. Being pretty tall myself, I anticipated some discomfort, but it actually felt like I was getting whiplash during the ride. While it was still a fun experience, I probably wouldn't ride it again out of concern for the whiplash. The line is a bit long as well, but that is to be expected in WDW.

Yelp
Slinky Dog Dash is located in Toy Story Land in Disney World's Hollywood Studios. This was a fun ride that felt like a traditional rollercoaster ride for me with it being out in the open which I liked. It was fun at night with all the nights.

Yelp
Wow! I loved this ride more than I thought I would. After we took my son (who's 11) on Tower of Terror, we let him choose the next ride. Slinky Dog Dash was it and it surely did not disappoint. I'm a larger person and cannot enjoy rides at most parks, but thanks to Disney being very inclusive, I was able to go on this coaster. My son and I yelled and laughed the whole time and have so much fun. Luckily we were in the first row and we really enjoyed it. I think this was my favorite ride at Hollywood Studios and was definitely my sons favorite.
google avatar

Yelp
Really fun, but please do not wait more than an hour for this ride! I would recommend either rope dropping this ride or consider getting Genie+. For us, Genie+ was COMPLETELY worth the money. We used Genie + and booked Slinky Dog as our first lightening lane for the day. Even when booking the slot at 7am the window wasn't until around 11am. When we checked in for our lightening lane we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes before we were on the ride. Happy Dashing!
google avatar

Yelp
Very cool ride for children and adults. It is a mini roller coaster so it's perfect for little kids. I wouldn't wait more than an hour though cause the ride goes by fast. While waiting in line the theming is okay but other rides are better. It was a good ride but not my favorite!
google avatar

Brett J.

Yelp
If your staying on resort and get to get in early, be sure you dash to this ride first thing! When we got there, with the early time entrance, it was a 70 min wait. The ride is a quick great coaster for kids of all ages. It is fast with twists, turns, ups and downs and lots of speed but it does not loop or have any huge drops so it is perfect for all in your party. However when we were done the wait had gone up to almost 2 hrs!!! Don't miss this one but get here fast and early.
google avatar

Edward J.

Yelp
This is a great roller coaster located in Toy Story Land. I will tell you it is not as fun in December when it is 35 degrees, but still a good time. I also recommend not visiting Woody's Lunch Box before riding this one.
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
I've been on this ride once and I loved it! It's fun for all ages. It's smith and fast and I just love the theme of this ride.
google avatar

Yelp
Disney's take on a traditional small roller coaster (with no loops). Situated in Toyland and adorned with Toy Story characters, this is one of the faster thrill rides at Disney Hollywood Studios. As a roller coaster, it speeds and banks enough to get your heart pumping. The extra attention to aesthetic details sets this ride above others of its kind (I.e. Six Flags)
google avatar

Erik P.

Yelp
This ride has the longest line in the park. You must arrive early to try to beat the lines, our wait time was about 1hr and for the type of ride it is, not worth it in my opinion. The ride height is great as my 3 year old was able to ride it but completely freaked out. Overall it's am appealing ride for kids but as for the experience it wasn't all that great in my opinion.
google avatar

Yelp
It doesn't matter what kind of day you're having. Slinky Dog is sure to show you a great time. All of it has been said already but basically one of the popular attractions at Hollywood Studios and you'll want to get in line for it early or wait until later in the evening when most people have ridden and no more lightning lanes are available for it.

Megan E.

Yelp
if you have lightning lane you'll get on immediately and likely enjoy the ride! if not, the line is brutal and not worth waiting an hour and a half despite the estimated being 45 mins
google avatar

Alycia M.

Yelp
This is one of our family favorites in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. The line can get pretty long if you go mid day or afternoon, but it's worth the wait! The line has a lot of nostalgic game displays and wall art which makes it fun. If you time you line wait with the Green Army Drummers you'll get a nice show as well since they stop at the edge of the lightning lane and perform for 2 or 3 minutes.
google avatar

Christy M.

Yelp
This one is fun for kids and adults! My 6 and 8 year olds LOVED this ride, and even my very tall and large husband could fit. Great theming, fast and fun (but not scary), this coaster was the hit of the park for my kids!

Yelp
Slinky Dog Dash is located in Disney Hollywood Studios within Toy Story Land. My family and I visited Disney World during the last week of July and ended up with a one-day reservation at Disney Hollywood Studios. My daughter had seen this ride on youtube videos a few times. She was so excited to be able to ride this a few times at our visit to Disney Hollywood Studios. We waited approximately 30 minutes each time for the ride. There was no fast pass system in-place during our visit. Social Distancing guidelines were in-place with 6ft distance markers within the queue. The ride is based on Andy's toys and themed as his room. The walk-through of the queue was pretty. The ride is a roller-coaster based on Slinky the dog. It's a lot of fun, super fast with a few drops and turns! Towards the middle of the ride, you stop and then get launched! It's a must-do ride if you're at Disney Hollywood Studios and family themed. I'd recommend either coming early or late as the wait times for this ride seemed to dwindle towards those times of the day!

Yelp
It's been here for 4 years but hasn't lost its attraction. Todays wait is almost 2 hours. It's fun from the standpoint of concept and any fan of Toy Story will like the concept. Given the size of the nearby objects you have been reduced to the size of the other toys in Andy's room. Then it's a ride around Andy's room on the roller coaster he built. A lot of fun and worth the wait.

David A.

Yelp
I went to Hollywood Studios in Florida today. The Star Wars attractions were very fun. But then I agreed to go to the Slinky Dog Dash. The sign said it would be 100 minutes - an outrage. I agreed to wait in the ridiculously long and slow line. I have now been in the line for 140 minutes! And now that I can finally see the front, we have been advised that the attraction is experiencing difficulties and wait times have increased further. Could this be worse? I don't think so. Now that I am close enough to see what the hell is going on, it's clear that they are letting thousands of Lightning Line people on before anyone from the regular line. 156 minutes now - still waiting...

Yelp
In my 50+ years of visiting Disney theme parks, I have never seen an attraction more creative, well-designed, and fun. Disney spared no detail in creating the illusion Of being a toy in Andy's backyard. From the dominoes to the Uno cards and the tinker toys to the Lincoln logs, I experienced a rush of nostalgia. My teenage children were no less impressed. Although we had to stand 60 minutes in line, each moment of immersion in Andy's world was delightful. The roller coaster itself was a blast. It was fast and smooth, much to my liking. I don't like jerky roller coasters and this one was everything but that. No nausea or headache resulted from this one. It was a jubilant delight!
google avatar

Victoria M.

Yelp
One of my favorite rides at Hollywood Studios! Side bar - be prepared to be called "toys" by crew members! The theme and the coaster itself was so much fun. This is a must for a fast pass! We were not able to get a fast pass, so as soon as the park opened we ran our way to the back of the park and got in line. Passing strollers left and right! Rushing to the ride right when the park opened was still a 50 minute wait. The line went all the way to the big Woody who greets you at the opening of the park, yikes! The queue is interesting and has a lot to look at with the detail of being a toy in Andy's backyard. However, nothing is interactive while you wait. The ride itself is awesome! Smooth ride and went decently fast a couple times. Felt a couple G's - good first thrilling roller coasted for a kiddo but thrilling enough for an adult. Good for the whole family. The coaster stops mid-way and revs up again which was a neat surprise. Wheezy the Penguin serenades you at the end which is pretty cute. We checked out the ride both in the AM and PM - which I would recommend. The Christmas lights along the coaster and other lights makes the experience totally different at night. The wait in the PM was about an hour - ugh, it was almost not worth it! But who am I kidding? It is worth it for Slinky Dog Dash!

Yelp
Did I love this ride because I'm a Toy Story fan? Hell yes! Did I think it's worth a 90 minute-2 hour wait? Absolutely not, but this is life at Disney World. If my 7 year old cousin did not want to go on this ride I would have happily skipped it. The ride is smooth and fun and you are very sad when it's over because 2 minutes just flew by after that excruciatingly long wait. Oh but look how cute that Slinky is ? Time to go get on another line ...
google avatar

Chris W.

Yelp
It's hard to miss Slinky Dog Dash when you enter Toy Story Land. It feels like the focus of the area when you're walking around. I know that the lines for this coaster can get insanely long. I was at a special event and when I saw that the wait was "only" 25 minutes I jumped at the opportunity. Some of the kiddie coasters at Walt Disney World, such as the Barnstormer, are bumpy, uncomfortable experiences. That's absolutely not the case with Slinky Dog. It was smooth as glass. The intensity of the coaster actually quite surprised me. It almost reminded me of Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens in Tampa because it has multiple launches instead of a traditional lift hill. If you're a person who's not sure if you're ready to "graduate" to a full sized coaster this would be a great way to test the waters. I'm glad that I was able to ride this without having to experience the excessive wait times it normally has.
google avatar

Cynthia L.

Yelp
What a fun, themed, family-style roller coaster. This is in the same category as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train over at Magic Kingdom. Toy Story Land opened sometime in May 2018 and SDD is still a very popular ride for both adults and kids. So I would suggest getting here early or waiting towards the end of the night. Even better, if you can score a FP+. Once Galaxy's Edge open, I'm sure the crowds will head towards there leaving reservations for FP+ easier to get for SDD.
google avatar

Jacky C.

Yelp
This is the most popular ride in Toy Story Land, may even be the most popular ride in Hollywood Studio besides Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. I would make this the first ride to do if you want to avoid a 60+ minute wait. Drops are not super high, but enough to get an adrenaline rush. Hopefully "You Got a Friend in Me" does not get stuck in your head after the ride.
google avatar

Amber A.

Yelp
This was a great ride. Smooth and scary with lots of turns and drops that lift you out of your seat. It's a 2 person row on a long, giant slinky dog... so if you are an odd numbered party someone in your group will have to sit beside a stranger. If you can get a Fast Pass, you should. It was an hour and a half or 2 hour wait during the day. We didn't have a fast pass so we went straight to the ride an hour before the park officially opened. (We were staying at one of the Disney resorts). We ended up waiting an hour because EVERYONE staying at a resort without a fast pass did the same thing. lol There aren't a lot of real rides in the Hollywood park, so this is a true highlight for all.

Yelp
Broken and not working! Second major ride out of commission on our visit. Eiger has his work cut out for him.
google avatar

Cynthia V.

Yelp
This ride brings a smile of pure elation to my face - it is SO FUN and SO CUTE. The coaster is very gentle, but you still get your thrills with the rolling hills throughout the ride. We rode this ride at dusk and it provided beautiful views of the park and Andy's Backyard area. Do your best to secure a Fast Pass for this one. Even if you don't the wait will be worth it!
google avatar

Mark V.

Yelp
Fun roller coaster for the entire family including young children but get fast pass. There is no air conditioning waiting in line. So I am taking one star off because if you do not have fast passes and you need to wait in line, it will be a very hot wait! The line starts mostly in the sun with someone umbrellas and you eventually go into a queue area with no air conditioning. While this actually fits the theme of the ride which is a giant toy roller coaster, to me it was a way for Disney to save some money (no air conditioning) so minus one star for that. OK so what makes this ride great is it does look like a giant toy roller coaster, pulled by a giant toy slinky dog head so really fun to go on. While the roller coaster goes a little high there is never a really scary drop so young children and older people should go on and have some fun. It's a great way for the family including smaller children to go on a ride that is kind of like a thrill ride and have some fun. Keep in mind that ultimately this is just a roller coaster without any large drops or very fast turns. Well themed of course but if you are seeking another thrill roller coaster this one is much milder than thunder railroad for example. If you are going to Hollywood studios and you like roller coasters and you can only go on one you should go on the rock and roller coaster by Aerosmith if you don't have young children that love toy story. Recommended for families including those with young children under the typical height recommendation for other attractions at Walt Disney World.

Yelp
BIENVENIDOS! The best part of this ride is the pre-ride safety announcement in Spanish. I love his accent

Yelp
I'm not the biggest fan of Hollywood Studios, but it's nice to see this new land added to the park. I know very little about the Toy Story franchise, but I still greatly enjoyed this ride and it's fun theming. I'm so so on rollercoasters. I like the ones that are more tame. I've been on Animal Kingdom's Everest or Disneyland's California Screamin', those rides are a tad intense for me. Slinky Dog is a BLAST! This is similar to the Magic Kingdom's Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in the way that it is a much smoother ride than older coasters. As far as thrill factor, I'd compare it to Seven Dwarfs or Big Thunder. I wouldn't call this a kiddie coaster, but it's moderately thrilling. I had such a big smile on my face when I was riding it! It's just perfection with it's fun drops. I really enjoyed it and wished I could ride it again, but the wait was around 70 minutes. I definitely think it's worth waiting for this one up to 1 hour.
google avatar

Gaylon G.

Yelp
I love this ride. On my original trip to this ride, we mistakenly assumed it was a kiddie coaster, but make no mistake, it's not. It has all the thrills and chills of much bigger coasters, combined with the cuteness of the Toy Story land and being dragged through the events with Slinky Dog. The theming is amazing, as is all of Toy Story Land and the queue is overloaded with toys and games from our youth, giving you something to look at and talk about while waiting in line. Unfortunately, some of the interactive things that used to dot the path have been locked down because of COVID. They still exist there, but do not function. Still, everywhere you look, you'll see something you remember. Kind of a trip down memory lane. Once you are on the ride, it's going to be a pretty intense several minutes, and some that you will want to repeat as time allows. The entire coaster is made from Slinky Dog and the track packs plenty of twists, turns, banks and hills. Pretty well worth an hour wait, honestly.
google avatar

Adam S.

Yelp
Slinky Dog Dash is probably one of the top rides in Disney's Hollywood Studios in my opinion. It's located in Toy Story Land and usually has an extremely long line. We haven't been able to get a FastPass for the ride since the ride opened (and we're annual passholders). We finally were able to go recently during COVID and rode the ride an hour before park close (with a 45 minute wait). The ride was very well produced and had a decent ride time and was a pretty intense "kiddy roller coaster" with a lot of speed and dips. I would say it's a lot more intense than 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and Thunder Mountain Railroad, but very enjoyable. Definitely recommend if you're in the Disney Parks!
google avatar

Kristina G.

Yelp
This ride is adorable and fun. It's a decent length of ride but not a very long ride by any stretch so I don't think its worth a long wait. Long as in over a half hour. The line queue isn't very interesting and it doesn't seem covered so on a hot day it would definitely not be worth a long wait. Definitive get a fast pass if you can. But its themed so well and you hear the characters throughout and I love the little launch in the middle of the ride. And of course you're literally riding on Slinky dog and how fun is that? At the end they have the tape recorder singing or is the penguin? I don't remember lol but I just loved it so so much! If I see a fast pass I definitely snag as its a must do for any Toy Story lover. I can't wait till we meet again Disney!
google avatar

Brianne L.

Yelp
Honestly, this ride was just okay for me. Walking into Toy Story Land, the coaster is front and center when arriving from the theatre side. It's pushers towards the back of the park to allow for the track and the queue. Walking into the ride is cute and well-themes. Again, the theming and queue are very cute, but the line and ride time/ride thrill is just okay. I wouldn't wait the 90+ minutes I waited for this ride again. Definitely try to get that fast pass for this one. It would be good for those who are not a fan of the high thrill coasters (e.g. rockin roller coaster), as it's mostly turns and hills. I do feel the thrill could be better even with a mostly mild coaster (think incredicoaster in Disneyland in California). I do like the photos taken throughout the rode. That is a plus if you have photos or memory maker. Overall, I'd ride again, but I would not wait more than 35 min for this ride in the future.

Yelp
Bienvenidos a Slinky Dog Dash!! What a fun new addition to Disney's Hollywood Studios! It's nice to have a second coaster in this park. It is family friendly with a lower height requirement, not too much speed and no scary drops. But don't let that (and the long lines) deter you. It is so much fun! The theming is on point. Like the rest of Toy Story land, there is so much to look at while you wait. The queue is outside. If it's warm outside, you'll be hot. There are a few fans scattered about, but once you are under the roof, it gets a little stuffy. (Which is cool, if you like to smell your neighbors.) Plan ahead: have a water bottle, a fan, and use the potty first. Phone games and a good park buddy to chat with also help. We rode twice in a row on a mid-week day after school started so the lines moved rather quickly. Bonus- there weren't as many families sending their kids ahead then plowing through to "catch up." I don't think there's a single rider line, so if you don't want to wait cross your fingers, pray hard and hope for an elusive fast pass.

Yelp
Since my annual pass had expired, it took a while before I came around to checking out Toy Story Land. This ride is one of the reasons to visit this land. The standby line started just beyond the bridge. There was a lot of movie inspired things to look at while waiting in the long slow line. Thankfully most of the line was covered as it was very sunny and blazing hot! The ride itself was nice. It wasn't too fast so it's good for the little ones and just fast enough so that the bigger kids shouldn't be too bored.

Yelp
We got rained out on the first day we had fast passes for this ride so were holding our breaths that the rain would hold off on our second attempt. We were lucky that the sprinkles didn't involve lightening this day! With a fastpass the queue moves quickly. Wait time was fairly long for standby, which is to be expected with this new ride. You ride two to a car. I think this is the longest roller coaster in the parks for sure. It is in the new Toy Story Land, so it is mild compared to some made for rides meant only for the bigger crowd, but don't let that stop you from giving it a try. It was a lot of fun. Lots of curves and ups and downs. The Toy Story theme is perfection, as per Disney's typical standards. Not that you have a lot of time to look around as you're zooming around the track. Lots of fun and looking forward to another ride soon.

Yelp
Line is heck-a long even if you go there first thing in the morning. I arrived at the park at 6:15, and by the time I walked towards Toy Story Land entrance, there were already crowds of 100+ people in front of me. I think I waited 45 minutes to ride the ride. This ride is definitely a Fast Pass ride, but still if you can wait it out, I'd say go for it and stay 2 hours in line. It's a relatively short ride, but it's fast, has a lot of turns and drops, and very smooth (not bumpy). This is surely one of the must do's when you come to Hollywood Studios.

Yelp
Honestly, this was a tough ride for me to rate. One on hand, it's really smooth and offers a lot of the standard roller coaster pieces. On the other, I stepped off without really enjoying the ride. If the lines are not too long, it's an experience you should have, but ultimately Slinky Dog Dash just wasn't doing it for me.

Yelp
Absolutely worth the wait! So fun! The wait is mostly in the sun, so be prepared. If you were wondering how it is on compare to other coasters in Disney in my opinion it's slightly less action than the Mine Train in the Magic Kingdom. The coaster is outside so you can stand and watch it if you would like to check it out before riding. It's probably the most popular ride in Hollywood Studios - at least until the Star Wars section opens later this summer - so Fast Passes are Ned to impossible me to get. Plan ahead and if you're going standby avoid mid-day. Toy Story Land is themed to be Andy's backyard so high noon can be blistering.

Yelp
This ride is pretty awesome. Especially since they are building Star Wars land next door! This is a roller coaster where you literally ride slinky dog. It's pretty awesome because at times you "feel" slinky dog stretch to go faster/ slower. The lines are insane but well worth it. To get a fast pass here is seemingly impossible but if you do it early enough maybe doable? Not sure. Rode here with my son. He loved it. Also experienced it when it opened. Also had a great time! Can't wait to come back and ride again. Why the Star Wars comment? You can see the land being built when you're on the ride. Pretty awesome.

Yelp
Such a cute ride with just a dash of thrill but tame for kiddos and adults who don't like the rush of a high speed coaster. As with any good ride, is always over too quickly but it's a fair amount of time for a ride. We got to the park SUPER early for the new Star Wars ride so we only had a five minute wait and last time we came we had a fast pass so I can't speak to the wait for someone who isn't at the park before opening or who doesn't have a fast pass. I THINK I've seen rather long wait times. Most of the waiting is either under umbrellas or inside a queue building which, in Toy Story fashion, seems to be made out in giant toys and games. So much to look at. Especially for someone in my age range (37), seeing Yahtzee, toy soldiers, dominos, checkers and potato heads is a wonderful nostalgic experience. So plenty to look at throughout the wait. Super cute ride. A must at Magic Kingdom.
