Slipaway Food Truck Park & Marina

Google
What a cool place, right on the water next to the marina. Lots of drinks choices, 10 food trucks with 10 different type of foods. We had the gyro and greek salad, both really good, and the pork belly burnt ends and beans, also tasty. Friendly service, both inside or outside seating, with live music every day. We really enjoyed it today. Can't wait to bring some friends next time.

Google
The perfect place to go when everyone has a hankering for something different. Everyone can order from different food trucks! Ordering is super easy from the QR code at each table. Service was fast and very friendly! The views were stupendous! Entertainment was great due to the newest in tech speakers scattered throughout the park. Lots of parking. Tons of seating also. We will definitely be back. So many more food trucks to try!

Google
Large selection of food choices. Venue very unique with Marina option as well. Lots of tvs with sports, huge bar, live music very clean. Staff very polite. Easy order to table with QR code scan. Pictures and prices shown , so makes it easy to use - we where there late before closing why it looks empty but usually very busy . Enjoy

Slipaway Food Truck Park & Marnia Stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon about 5ish. The Parking lot was filled but someone was leaving so we got a spot. This lot is not that big, but they do have Valet Parking and a separate lot nearby for overflow. One thing to mention you can’t bring any drinks into this park that includes water. Once inside there were a bunch of Food Trucks serving all kinds of foods and deserts. They had Addison’s Chicken. Chop It Up, Gogi Gourmet, Greek Spot Go, Lobster Chef, Not Yo Moma’s Tacos, Philly Express, Smokestream BBQ, The Crooked Cow, Yunta Cubana just to name a few. One thing puzzled us is that there were no lines at any of the food trucks. That’s because we discovered that you sit down at a table and each table is numbered and there is a QR code at each table for you to scan. Once scanned the web site come up with all the food trucks and their menus so you can order from there and pay right from there. Once you’ve ordered and paid there are servers that will bring your food right to your table without you even getting up. They will also take your drink orders from you right at your seats no need to get up. We had soft drinks and they have more than enough to suit anyone, and refills were free. We did order a Dirty Banana, but consensus was it was not that good. I ordered a Cheesesteak from Philly Express, and my wife ordered a Lobster Roll and Fries from Lobster Chef. Our friend ordered the Chicken Strips from Addison’s Chicken. Our food got delivered quick and it was very good. Everything was hot and there was plenty of it. We loved the food and the live music was a great addition. It’s such a great atmosphere very laid back. The Bar area is very large but gets filled quickly. They have a store that sells some Knick Knacks, Tees Shirts, and souvenirs. Even the rest rooms were clean. There are plenty of boat slips to dock your boat and chill or get a drink and grab a bite to eat. Come on down and get yourself some! I would have gave this place 5 stars for the food and the fun factor but I knocked a star off because of the tip confusion. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Follow Me On FB For More Reviews & Fun Gulf Coast Terry

Went to Slip Away for a early lunch with our Golden Retriever and was extremely satisfied with every aspect of service and the venue. Every employee we talked to were awesome and so nice. One in paticular, Emmy was super nice, made my wife and I feel so welcome and even though it was our first time, we kind of felt like regulars. We ate at Lobster Chef and the food was fantastic in size and flavor. Drinks were well poured and worth the price every sip. Very dog friendly and Emmy brought water and ice to our boy. We will back soon for sure.

I recently went to this amazing place and I'm still dreaming about it! 🤤 The food was absolutely delicious, offering a variety of cuisines to choose from. There were more than ten food trucks, providing a diverse and exciting culinary experience. Ordering was super convenient with QR codes, making it easy to try everything. 🎉 To top it off, there was live music, creating a fantastic atmosphere. 🎶 #FoodTruckAdventures #LiveMusicVibes #DeliciousFood

Google
Came here for the first time for lunch. Great atmosphere, clean premises. Our server for drinks was slow and almost nonexistent. However there were lots of staff and around and greeted us when we entered, explained the ordering process, etc. Lots of food choices, something for everyone. We ordered from the table vs directly from the trucks. The online menus did not list which items were gluten free. It would be helpful if they included this in the menus. There was also live music.

1st time visiting SlipAway. Very cool set up. Huge bar with tons of TVs, live music stage, covered picnic tables, convenient store n gas dock. 30 boat slips. We ate an Italian beef from the Philly truck. Very good. Large portion. Great service! Looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
Good food Great staff Fun ambiance Many different food trucks to pick from. Large Variety of food selections. Bar service is great!

Yelp
1. Plenty of parking (for now ;) 2. Very clean common area 3. Lots of food options (known restaurant's) 4. Open concept with a lot seating (on the water too!) 5. Greek Stop 5+ 6. Taco Truck 5 + 7. Full bar 8. Fast friendly service NOW.... It was not confusing for us, but I do think some people may have issues with the putting your order in on your phone. It's extensive looking at all the options. I personally loved it, but I think my husband not so much. And there are two tabs one for the food trucks and one for the bar top. Again, not a problem for me, but my husband was a little confused with that as well. definitely going to be going there often!

Yelp
A lot of fun. Food truck park. People were very friendly. The only thing my friends and I didn't like was how loud the music was. Great band but it was loud. We loved the variety of food. We opted for the wings, onion rings, sushi, fish tacos, fish sandwich-yummy. Very good. Once we figured out how to order, we were good. You can scan the QR code on the table, you can place your order and have your cuisine delivered to you. Very convenient! People were friendly and the vibe was amazing. Enjoy!

Yelp
Cool concept. 10 trucks of a wide variety of food. Walk up and get your food or use the QR code to get served for a small fee. Atmosphere is really nice. Entertainment, boat slips, cornhole, lounge seating under canopy's. Overhead misters and fans underneath the main roof area around the bar. I found it to be a little pricy. Parking is a real issue! Also, getting in and out from Cape Coral Pkwy can be dicey and dangerous so be careful!

Yelp
What a great place. Lots of seating and areas for the family. If you have a boat, this is the place to come. You can park right in front of the place (and you can get gas too). Food is provided by 10 food trucks. Order on your phone, brought to your table. Word of caution, use the QR code at your table. I used the table next door and my food was delivered to an empty table...... lol. Food was good. Service was pretty fast. Beers were good. Went with a group and we all had a good time. Parking is ample and they have free valet parking.

Yelp
OK, I admit. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I still think it's located in a dumb spot, at the foot of the bridge, just coming into the city... adding a red light to make people safe, would surely piss off all the people racing to get over the bridge in either direction. But, upside: I really liked the Greek food I chose, the band was amazing, fun to watch people dancing and this place looks really cool... I will be taking my boat there.

Yelp
The good: super cool setting with a good assortment of food trucks. Nice bar area with your typical "tiki themed" drinks. Quick delivery of your food by food runners if you elect to order from your table via your phone. The bad: Parking, even though they have "complimentary valet" parking the parking lot is small and if making a left turn into the lot there can be congestion limiting making that left turn into the lot. The ugly: Table service for drinks! We sat at the table for 20 minutes with no one acknowledging us so I went to the bar and ordered two drinks. That was really fast as they had at least 6 people behind the bar. Bartender asks if I want to keep open and I said sure but I am sitting at table (under the roof of the bar area) and she said I would have to open another tab with a server. We got our food and were enjoying the music , food , and drinks. Finally after about another 30 minutes someone comes to the table asking if we need anything and we get another tab for another round of drinks. So we have 3 tabs, one for food, one for bar drinks , and one for table drinks even though we sat at the same table the entire time. They must do better with this and I am hopeful that they will fine tune as they have only been open about one month. I probably will return but via boat.

Yelp
My family and I really enjoy a good food truck park, but we have been struggling in Southwest Florida to locate one that isn't crazy busy or overwhelming. We found the slip away. Food truck park and I don't know if it was the time of day or season, but we really did. Enjoy this place. I can see how parking can be tricky, and that would be the one item that would keep us away, but fortunately, we came for lunch on a Sunday, and it was not too crazy. We walked around and enjoyed the layout. Some parts were private. Some parts were more public, and they had interactive elements for the family. We enjoyed the variety of food trucks and decided to eat at a chopped sandwich, food truck, and a burger joint. Both trucks were delicious. We sat at the bar and we were really surprised and how attentive the weight staff was. The views were super nice and calming a perfect Sunday getaway.

Yelp
First time here, it's that type of place you're going for the ambiance, not the food or the prices. The bar & seating under the main area is nice so you don't have to be in the sun. It's on the water so the views are nice. You can order off the QR code from your table & pay for it directly online & a server brings it to you, they also take your drink orders. Pros: *Seems like plenty of parking but in season it's probably going to be a mess *Nice place to take someone visiting you for the ambiance. *Plenty of choices & menus for all the trucks are on the ordering online *Friendly servers who were attentive *For boaters this is probably one of the few places you can dock & eat. Cons: *I was excited to see Gigi's Gourmet said Gourmet Salads on their truck (you can also order from each truck in person if you'd like) , they don't have ANY salads, the only salad in the whole place is a Greek salad which I'm not a fan of. *I tried to get a decaf coffee drink at The Crooked Cow, they have a bunch of coffee drinks ....they don't carry any decaf & no other coffee at any of the other trucks or the bar. *When you order at your table when paying they add a $2 "convenience" fee, I don't see this as being very convenient. *I ordered the Brisket Mac Bowl from Smokestream BBQ, the brisket was extremely salty, I ate about a 1/4 of my $22 bowl. *For the Brisket Mac Bowl & a Philly cheesesteak from Philly Junction & a Diet Pepsi (no coke products ) with tip it was $53, so you're going for the ambience, not the food or the prices. *We barely had a phone signal there & they do have a WiFi but you have to get it from the server, why isn't this on the same napkin holder as the QR code as you need to order online & have a good signal to order! *Very unimpressive draft beer list, if you're a Miller Lite person this is your place. I see this as being a place people are going to go to & eat & drink & listen to music, it's not a good place to stop & have something to eat, we are not cheap but I'd rather spend my money at places where the food is great & the drinks aren't $13-$15 a piece.

Yelp
It's been years since I've been as excited for something as much as this brand-new venue. They opened July 4th. They are located on Cape Coral Parkway East, right before/after the bridge, depending which way you're heading. The space was designed wonderfully. The full length features a long expanse of waterfront docking, the marina services and shop, outdoor covered seating with picnic tables and comfortable cushion lounge seating with tables on each side of a large partially enclosed, open air bar named The Helm. The space is framed by subtle landscaping and artificial greens that offer opportunities to play corn hole. Along the length of the space there are nine different food trucks and two other drink/snack trucks. Gigi's Gourmet featuring Burgers, Wagyu Hot Dogs, Grilled Cheeses, Salads and Truffle Fries Crooked Cow Creamery featuring, Ice Cream, Milkshakes, Snacks and drink options aside from the bar. Greek Spot (one of our regular favorites) featuring Gyros and Salads Addison's on the go, featuring Chicken Apps, Handhelds and Wraps Smokestream BBQ featuring BBQ Sandwiches and Mac Bowls Lemonade Social featuring Lemonade, a refreshing drink option aside from the bar. Yunta featuring Cuban Appetizers, Empanadas, Sandwiches and Bowls. Lobster Chef featuring Lobster Rolls and other options. Not Yo Mama's Tacos featuring some fun menu names with great combinations of tacos and more. Chop it Up featuring chopped Sandwiches, Salads and Wraps Philly Junction featuring Cheesesteaks, Cold Subs and Sandwiches The food trucks sell food only, so you'll want to grab a beverage from either Crooked Cow Creamery, Lemonade Social or The Helm (the bar). Both places we ordered from gave us a pager that buzzed when we needed to pick up our food. I ordered from Not Yo Mama's Tacos and I keep thinking about the Wild Willy's Fowl Play tacos I had. Marinated Glazed Chicken, Maple Bacon Ranch, Cilantro Aioli, Candied Jalapenos, Crispy Onions, Cilantro on Corn Tortillas. Wow, a flavor and texture party in my mouth. Flavors that popped yet blended beautifully and a perfect mouth feel with crunch and chew. 5 stars all day long. Mr. T got a cheesesteak from Philly Junction and didn't talk to me again until he was finished eating. He said it was good but he's low-key like that. When I asked, he said he could definitely recommend it. Sunday afternoon when we visited, they had a live band playing Reggae. It was crowded but still maintain space to spread out. The sun was shining, there was great food and drinks, music, a breeze. The entire vibe was amazing. This is the type of place we will come back to over and over and evidently everyone else agrees. Parking is hard to find and we were told the boat slips for docking fill up every day by about 11:30 or 12:00 noon and then there's a waiting line in the water. Worth the effort to park or dock. The entire experience was great. We'll be back soon.

Yelp
This place is excellent!! The spicy gyro is the best and the live band is great! When you come over the bridge it's on the right on the water

Yelp
Amazing addition to the Cape!! Recently opened and got a chance to check this out on a later Wednesday afternoon. There are 10 permanent food trucks, Philly cheese steaks, chop it up sandwiches on Nee York bread baked fresh in the truck daily, Waugu burgers and gourmet grilled cheese, bbq, alcohol infused ice cream, taco truck, lobster rolls and the Greek Spot where I chose to dine this time. I know I am forgetting a location- sorry!! Anyway, situated right on the gulf waters, boaters can come and dock. Large bar and outdoor dining area. Plenty of seating for now while the "snowbirds" are still up Notth. Live music even in the afternoon. I enjoyed a coconut margarita and my chicken souvlaki sandwich. Peaceful and a great place to meet up with friends and family. Great place to take out of town visitors as the food selection is sure to please anyone. There is also a souvenir store. Clean place and friendly staff all around. Will definitely return with my peeps!

Yelp
Super cute outdoor food hall! They have water front seating. They have over five different food truck options. They have tons of games to play around the lot. The restrooms were spacious and very clean. We ordered the lobster tacos, fish and chips, and corn hush puppies and found the food to be delicious! You can order directly from the food trucks or find a table and order using the QR Code. They even delivered the food to us. The only hard part was the parking. The lot is way too small for the size of the place. Dogs are allowed!

Yelp
Best lobster roll in Southwest Florida--hands down! If you're anywhere near The Slipaway Food Truck Park and Marina, do yourself a favor and run to the Lobster Chef truck. I had the lobster roll and the lobster poke bowl, and both were absolutely out of this world. The lobster roll was everything you want it to be: buttery, perfectly toasted bun, overflowing with fresh, sweet lobster claw meat. No skimping here. It's rich, satisfying, and honestly might be the best I've had in SWFL. And the lobster poke bowl? Gorgeous presentation, bursting with color and flavor. It was light, fresh, and packed with high-quality ingredients. A perfect balance to the richness of the lobster. Also, shoutout to the three lovely ladies working last night--they were all so friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their energy made the whole experience even better. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Lobster Chef is a must-try. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
What an awesome experience, beautiful atmosphere great friendly staff management came and greeted us. Beautiful outdoor dining food trucks are amazing. Just a one-of-a-kind experience that everybody needs to enjoy.

Yelp
This place is amazing!!! Love the ease of ordering thru the QR code. Bar staff is friendly & attentive. The music (Bethanne) on Mondays is fire!

Dria O.

Yelp
Sundays are amazing for their reggae music. Nice breeze and just overall good vibes. The manager Ken even came over and table touched. 10/10

Yelp
There are 2 ways to get here. Either by driving or boat. They have live music daily. I am really impressed with how they set it up. They have a bar that if you sit in main pavilion you will get served by wait staff. The staff is so friendly; important note they pool their tips together as they all work together. The 2 trucks I have tried so far are the Cuban place which oh my their Ropa Vieja was out of this world! They flavor notes that it on every bite are phenomenal! The other one I tried was the Tuna Poke Bowl at The Lobster Chef. The prices are really reasonable as well. Definitely worth a try!

Yelp
I must start this review by issuing Ultra Kudos to ALL who were involved with pre-planning this venue and executing the final vision - You done Cape Coral Proud!!! Very well thought-out design, layout and amenities being offered at this location. It's easy to just add food trucks, but it's sooo much more valuable when you add comfortable features such as seating arrangements either under the libations pavilion (bar area) or on either side of the pavilion with cushioned outdoor couches, permanent picnic tables made of metal and composite materials and get this, I am on the bigger side and take it from me the seats are wide and the picnic tables are substantially sturdy ((I would find that nugget of information to be very helpful, which is why I am sharing)) so you can rest assure that these seats and table are not moving!! More noteworthy amenities being offered at this location are the condiment stations featuring complimentary water, condiments, napkins and plastic ware - we can all agree it's irritating when you pay good money for your food choices but have to beg or search high and low to find plastic ware to eat with, well here you do not have to worry because this venue offers the above mentioned complimentary to paying customers. Do you have a boat? You can dock your boat here!!! Great place to enjoy a night out, network people you know, meet new friends and enjoy the live music, while sipping on your favorite adult beverages One piece of constructive criticism is that every food truck should be open because the whole purpose is to have a variety of dinning options and not just a few.

Edward Z.

Yelp
Wonderful Atmosphere with music all the time! The staff are great! Food at all the venues is excellent. Could use more staff in peak hours.
google avatar

Allison D.

Yelp
We were so excited to try Slipaway and were not disappointed! There was so many food truck options it was hard to decide. We went on a Saturday and bar service was still fast and friendly. The location is beautiful on the water and the facilities are super nice and clean. We will definitely be back

Laura S.

Yelp
Nice place to stop in for food and music but if coming by boat just know that there are no cleats to tie up to at the docks and the current can be strong at times. Please install cleats!! Can't be that costly and would be so helpful!!!!

Lori K.

Yelp
I've tried so hard to like this place but everything is so over priced and food is not very good! We've liked the bbq place and the chop it up place but that's about it. Be prepared to spend $100 on mediocre food and drinks
google avatar

Dean H.

Yelp
Omg! Get the Chop It Up Crunchwhich! The best sub I've ever had. Flavor in every bite and the fastest meal available because nothing is deep fried or heated. Fresh bread and super fresh ingredients plus great friendly service! Why wait for fried food then feel sluggish? The facility is new with live music daily. What a great hang! Perfect for boaters, gawkers and people watchers.

Yelp
Excellent addition to the Cape Coral culinary and entertainment scene. 10 innovative food trucks, but we only ordered from 3. Good falafel balls from Greek vendor; AMAZING tuna poke bowl from the fish/seafood truck; and excellent fish tacos from Mexican truck. Service is kind and very efficient. Everyone from the valet parkers to the bar staff to our wait staff were great. Bring your phone to sign in and order. Runners will be right there! Ambiance includes great dock views, and oh --- the LIVE music. Fantastic. Misters (above us) and the resulting moisture were only mildly annoying. (We will know where to sit the next time....LOL). We will be back. Soon.

Yelp
So my husband and myself had gone by boat for the first time. The girl who worked at the dock met us with a beautiful smile and hearty welcome. The food that we ordered from Addison chicken wings were INCREDIBLE!! The best chicken wings ever and I did order them plain. What amazing flavor. The boats, the one man band w his guitar was amazing. The feeling was like you were away on a vacation but yet so close to home too..I highly recommend to go and try it.. I am still talking about it today!!!
google avatar

Cindy D.

Yelp
Cute place. They've only been open a week, so I'll give them some leeway, but the waitstaff needs a lot of training. They don't know table numbers and wander around with food asking various tables if they ordered a smash burger. There were three of us, ordered at the same time and half my order came 30 minutes after the other two. I flagged a waitress and told her my fries never came, she told me she would check on it. 15 minutes later I flagged her down again and she said she was told I never ordered fries. It didn't occur to her to communicate this with me. My husband had to go to the food truck to show her our receipt. I highly recommend going directly to the food trucks until they work the kinks out.

Owen H.

Yelp
Fantastic idea for a dining experience. Everyone can order from their own food truck and have it delivered straight to the table along with waitstaff to take care of your drinks. Side note: we had Vi (affectionately known as 6) and she was great. The atmosphere was great. Mist fans, live music, and tons of comfortable seating options. Everyone loved their food and enjoyed their experience. So why isn't this a 5 star review? As others have mentioned, there are some serious kinks to be worked out. There was no one to really greet us or to explain how things work. The food came out at random times and most of the food trucks were not even open. Pretty much everyone in our group had to settle for a different food truck than they would have otherwise chosen. Fun experience but they really need to work out some of these kinks.

Lisa G.

Yelp
The concept, location and view are great. However, both times we went the musician's have been downright terrible, playing slow depressing music. Other's around the bar expressed the same sentiments. The drinks were overpriced as are the food trucks. Hopefully they get some entertainment that fits the location and realign their pricing to match other local bars.

Jenn O.

Yelp
Great variety of food options from BBQ to veggie. The sushi bowl from the Lobster Truck is outstanding and the burnt ends from Smokehouse are so good!

Joy R.

Yelp
Like many others I will go through my pros and cons. Pros: It is a very nice place. I went at noon on a Tuesday so I was able to pull right into a parking place. I went on a very hot and humid day but was very comfortable sitting under the canopy. I had an attentive server who answered my questions completely. I was only one of about 2 dozen in the building, however. Cons: I think parking will be crazy when season starts as there is not nearly enough. I knew this when it was built. They need to do something about this. Secondly, Paying for my drink from the bar, then paying for the food separately is stupid. I also had to ask my server, why is the app asking for a tip? who does it go to? My server explained it went to the food truck! Isn't it their business to make food? I don't tip the chef when I go to a restaurant. The food is extremely expensive. There is nothing cheap for a sample of food from multiple places. It's all high price. I had a $10 hotdog and $6 french fries with a bland cheese sauce. Include my soda $3.50, tax and tip and for 1 person it was over $25 for a hotdog lunch. This is food truck food, not gourmet. Not sure if I will return.....

Aldo M.

Yelp
Slip Away is absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. The location is perfect for enjoying Cape Coral and the water access made it so easy to explore. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming which made our stay incredibly relaxing. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into every detail and it really shows. If you are looking for a place in Cape Coral that combines comfort, convenience, and charm, Slip Away is the place to book. Highly recommended.

Joan P.

Yelp
Crazy parking. Beautiful place but definitely not enough seating for season. I think eventually it will be a stand alone restaurants.

Jim B.

Yelp
Went there a few days ago to check it out. Food was meh and pricey. Parking is tight, don't go in if you have a long pickup truck. Tough to find a parking spot as well. It's not even season yet.
