Red-lit dance bar with Skee-Ball, bottled cocktails, and beer

"Where else can you play a bunch of skee ball and then dance your face off? Nowhere that we know of. Slippery Slope is a favorite when we’re looking to really get out and have some fun, and judging by the lines at this Logan Square bar, a lot of other people feel the same way." - sam faye, veda kilaru, nick allen
"This Logan Square bar is a favorite when you really just want to have some fun. The first floor has skee-ball, and the upstairs is more of a swanky cocktail bar. Later at night, the first floor turns into a dance party. And the whole place is lit with red light that’s been scientifically proven to make everyone look cooler." - adrian kane
"If you’re at Slippery Slope on the weekend, you’re probably there to dance. But things are more laidback during the week, which means you won’t have any trouble getting a turn on the skeeball machines. And you can play for free on Mondays, which is an alright consolation for it being dark at 4pm." - josh barnett
"Aside from a few bleacher-style seats on the side, there aren’t too many places to sit at Slippery Slope. Which is fine because you’re not here to peacefully sip on a beer under their red lights like a resting lizard. You’re here to dance your ass off. Just get there early—the booming DJ sets and dance floor are so popular there’s often a long line outside. But if you need a break, feel free to try and beat the high score on their skeeball machine, or grab an excellent cocktail from their more low-key second-floor lounge, The Heavy Feather." - sarah freeman, john ringor
"If you’re at Slippery Slope, chances are you’re there to dance. But if you haven’t gotten corrective surgery to replace your second left foot yet, they’ve also got skee-ball. Just plan on going on a Monday, when skee-ball is free—because we’ve heard it’s an expensive surgery." - josh barnett, john ringor
