Amazing thin crust pizza of the day. Fantastic staff, so glad I went here on a whim. Habanero sauce is delicious, so is the cilantro.

We arrived for an early dinner, around 5:30, and the restaurant was empty except for a lone booth occupied in the corner. So I was blown away when the chef, doubling as the order taker while his co-worker was on break, produced the best pizza I’ve ever had. We chose the pizza of the day: corn, zucchini, yellow onion, mozzarella, French feta — whatever that is — cilantro, garlic olive oil and lime. The perfection of this pizza and the way its flavors combined so brilliantly, suggested a food scientist had made it his master’s thesis. The thin crust was somehow crunchy and chewy simultaneously. The green sauce, darling of many reviews, is as good as fans say. And the salad of the day — greens with berries, feta and a slightly sweet dressing that the order taker/chef described as “strawberry blueberry” except it was almost completely white — also exceeded my expectations, in the best way. My only regret is that we ordered a half a pizza— $15 and worth it — and finished it all, so there was nothing left to take home.

My wife and I just had an awesome dinner at Sliver! We love this place, and tonight reinforced why. Reese and his team were super welcoming even when we showed up close to closing. We got two pizzas fast, and they did not disappoint. Fantastic flavor, crispy and crunchy crust, and fresh ingredients. We always load up on the chimichurri/ green sauce too. Nom! Reese was super kind too and stopped by to ensure all was good and provided excellent service to us tonight. We are so pumped to have this great spot in our town, and thanks again for a great meal Sliver team!! We appreciate it!

Exceptional! Chris and Celso went above and beyond to help us as we reached just before closing after a long flight. We went to Sliver across the Bay Area for the great pizza, we will be back to THIS location for the exceptional and kind service - it means so much to come home to folks like these! We appreciate it so much!

They don’t offer any meat option pizza. I thought pizza without any pepperoni would be good but I was wrong. The corn pizza was one of best I ever had.

I love that they offer slices, great if just eating for one or two people. Pizza is veggie only, and really fresh ingredients. They also have gluten free options and do not charge extra for gluten free (which is pretty rare!).

So excited this is in Lafayette! Get the green sauce. Be patient as they are new, but so far so good! Will definitely be back often. Gelato, pizza, drinks? Yes please!

Yummy! Love the roasted corn and poblano pizza. I also had the sweet potato one. Both were delicious. Love the sauces that go on top. Great food. Nice spacious area with lots of seating indoor and outdoor.

Came here with my family the other day cus we were craving pizza so here we are. We ordered 3 different pizzas. We ordered the mushroom pizza, the corn pizza, and the pizza of the day. All of the pizzas were so delicious. I also liked their sauce/condiment station. At first when I came to this place, I'll admit I was a bit skeptical because they don't offer any meat options. But the pizzas here are so good that it doesn't need any. That's how you know this place is legit. There is a lot of indoor seating available and parking here isn't really an issue. Try it out if you like. :)

The gluten free pizza is good here, super thin crust though as a warning. The first time I had it I think it was a little too crunchy, but today it was perfectly cooked and the pizza of the day was super tasty and flavorful. We were both happy. It's a little steep in price for such a thin crust, but overall we enjoyed it. The staff was nice and worked super fast to get the pizza out. The sauces don't taste like they go with pizza tbh, but that's probably a larger corporate decision. The place is huge too, you can easily bring a large group to hangout. They should consider investing in some outdoor heaters.

We went here the other day for lunch. It was nice, super clean and lots of seating. Service was good and fast. It was super quiet. We got the whole corn pizza and they had the special green sauce for you to dip the slices in. They had three different options and we picked the corn pizza. The crust was really chewy and crispy and all the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend ordering the corn pizza. It has a little bit of a kick to it because there's poblano peppers but it's certainly not spicy.

The Berkeley original has made it to the East Bay. Great pizza options with the amazing green sauce. I'm glad they are closer now and parking is super easy and convenient. Great staff cooking amazing pizzas.

It was the best pizza I have ever had. I like that it doesn't have a big crust. We had corn on it and it was delicious. I'm sorry we don't have it in Reno.

Food - I had a corn pizza and it was absolutely delicious!!! It was one of the best pizzas I ever had. The place is super spacious and TONS of seating. The restaurant is very clean and has a bathroom. There's a lot of TVs mounted up on the walls (when I was there it was playing a basketball game). There's also a TV in the outdoor seating. The guys who worked there were pretty nice. Nothing over the top, just the bare minimum I would say. I noticed that most people get take out and only some people would sit down and eat. When I went there were 4 different parties eating. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back to get my corn pizza!

The best thing here is the cilantro sauce. It is pure cracks. I eat it with a spoon as well as drench my pizza in it. OK, the pizza is good also. There is a rotating "pizza of the day" if you are looking for slices or half pizzas. Can order something else if getting a whole pizza. They have beer and wine and hard liquor is coming as of this review. They lost all alcohol for awhile due to not renewing their license. So onto the pizza. It's all vegetarian. Yes, I said it...no meat. As a keto/metatarsal kind of guy if was initially disturbed by this but having been there multiple times I guess I can go once in awhile with out cow, pork, lamb, fish or assorted road kill. And you ask, " Will then why do you go there?" We'll it's my partners idea and she likes more veggies than meat. Back to the pizza. the mushroom ones are my favorite. They are all tasty and I am sure we will be back. Did I mentiom the cilantro sauce was like crack?

Such a great pizza place! Delicious and priced well!. Their signature pizza with corn and the green sauce is my absolute favorite!

Had the best pizza here the other night. It was cold, wet & miserable outside. We were shopping & starving. Came in this joint to a welcoming young man. He explained they were almost wiped out, very busy day for them. Anyway we ordered what he had & 2 Pomegranate Margaritas. Both were amazing! My only gripe would be, drink was too small ;) Very good, crispy, thin crust pizza. Perfect!

The corn pizza here is so good!! I'm not a feta cheese fan in general so was initially hesitant on trying this but was so glad I did. It's one of my favorite pizzas! There is something about the combination of corn, French feta cheese, yellow onions, cilantro, and garlic-infused olive oil on a sour dough crust that makes this pizza so delicious. The pizza comes with a few lime wedges too. I prefer their house-made Sliver green sauce and Sliver fire sauce (self-serve) over my usual ranch dressing for pizza. At $28 you may think it's a bit price but it's worth every penny! There are plenty of tables in the restaurant and ample parking in the private lot. I usually call in my order about 10 minutes prior to arrival to minimize the wait time. For dessert, they also serve a few flavors of local gelato.

I had heard about Sliver from a friend, and have been interested in trying it for awhile. Finally tried it out today. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that all their pizzas are meat-free. One of my goals in the new year is to support more vegetarian restaurants. Sliver also offers a vegan option if you opt for a whole pizza. My partner and I shared a half pizza of the day. It was very tasty. It had mozzarella, mushrooms, bell peppers, and goat cheese. For some reason they don't do a sauce base on the pizza, but the flavors were still excellent. They have sauces you can add on top of the pizza, including a tangy herb and lime sauce which was so good I could literally drink it on its own. The pizza is perfectly thin-crust, so not a major carbo bomb. They also have different flavors of margaritas. I had to wash down my healthy pizza with one. ;) Service was great, the gentleman helping us was very friendly. The interior is nice and spacious, good place for a pizza party. Will return!

I was very disappointed when the SLIVER pizzeria in Danville closed. But wait... they opened a new location in Lafayette's La Fiesta Square? I came here with one of my best friends for dinner and a catch up. This place was in my mind as a place to grab delicious pizza (corn, potato, mushroom, tomato, and a pizza of the day) and margaritas (lemon, mango, strawberry, prickly pear, guava, and classic). It's a great place because the pizzas are completely vegetarian. Make sure to get the sliver green sauce and sliver fire sauce to level up the pizza (yes, it's vegan too). We also noticed that there were appetizers/sharable items at this location. We opted for the veggie nachos, which had a generous amount of mozzarella and goat cheese. Need to come back next time to try their waffle fries. They also have baked veggies, corn on the cob, and a cheese plate too. Generally, I really like their pizzas. When they're fresh, it smells amazing and is quite tasty. They don't seem to hold over all that well, though, and after a day, the texture hardens quite a lot. Definitely feel the fiber with this one. Oh. For those who don't like margs, they have a decent selection of beers, wines, sodas, and others (kombucha, sparking water, and ginger beer).

The potato pizza is the best pizza here and I always get it. The other pizza that is really good here is the corn one and sometimes they combine the corn and Potato one and we have best of both worlds! You have to eat these pizzas with the green sauce because it is the literal best. The staff are always nice and accommodating whenever we come in. And the vibe is always sporty and calm inside.

This is the third location I've been to including the original location in Berkeley and the one in Oakland. This location is really neat. Has a good atmosphere and nice outdoor seating. I recommend trying the spot. And there's plenty of parking. The pizza is really really good here! They have a good variety of beer and sodas. I will return here at some point. Only thing is I had to kind of figure it out.... We ordered two slices and two sodas. Came up to about $18 before tip. The sodas in the bottle were really good and they were $4 a pop, pun intended. The slice of pizza was $4 a slice. But I must say I was a little disappointed in the size of the slice. Two slices is barely enough for lunch for both of us. I think this might put some people off because there should have been a lot of people here at lunch time on a Monday. They should charge more and make the slice bigger. I thought it was kind of funny that two slices were so small but then I thought about the price and I'm like well okay that's not too a bad price. So next time I come, I'll order three slices for two people, I wish I took a photo. But yeah, that marketing strategy is kind of weird. And we didn't have time to order another slice. Yeah I'll be back now that I know how big the slices are but I think it would be better if they just charged a little more and made the slice a little bigger. They should also also open before 12:00 on a work week. A lot of people have lunch starting at 11:00 a.m.. very odd.. Anyway, now that I know what I'm into, I'll stop by again. Of course. The staff is very friendly and answered my questions. The place is very clean. Also. I'm not sure why the bathroom wasn't open? And I stopped here today on Monday the 12th of August. Again, the staff was friendly and my slice didn't take long to come out.

Guy at the front was rude and unhelpful. We paid over $60 for 2 pizzas that were bland, doughy, dry with very underwhelming flavors. Really disappointing... never going back. Such tasteless and mediocre pizza.

The food is always delicious and made fresh doesn't take too much time to make! The service is always great. He's such a friendly guy very helpful and let you know what's the best on the menu ! It is extremely clean in here very organized and neat. I love the fact that you can serve your own green sauce.!!!!! This is the best sliver out , hands-down!!!!!!! 10 out of 10 recommend to every friend.

Came back and unfortunately the fries are not very good :( Very dry and hard. The other sites don't have the side dishes so maybe this was a test trial? Pizza of the day today was delicious though. Corn, tomatoes, goat cheese, and delicious other herbs on it. Husband's Review: "Fries are mid."

For one who has been in mourning ever since the iconic Freddies closed, Sliver Lafayette was a very pleasant surprise. We had a high school athletic teams' end-of-the-season celebration here in a spacious area in the back. The pizza, salads and drinks were a big hit with the players, adults as well as their coach.

So happy to see Sliver opening new locations! I've only ever been to the Berkeley location so I'm glad there's one closer to me. Came on a Friday night around 7 and they were decently busy! The parking lot is metered which is a bit annoying, not sure if there's free parking lot behind or not. The interior is pretty big and tons of seating. Huge shoutout to the workers- they were super friendly and definitely made our experience better! Didn't know if it was common knowledge for Sliver but you can only get half a pizza, 2 slices (anything besides a full pizza) before 5pm- after 5pm full pizzas only!! Not a huge deal but something to note. You can also get their standard pizzas: corn, tomato, potato and mushroom (not sure if this rotates, but as of 2/3/23 it was these options) in addition to their pizza of the day. The pizza of the day I got was the one with cremini mushrooms and it was delicious!!!! You can always check their pizza of the day on their website. Great ratio of toppings and crust, doesn't feel overly heavy and great flavor! And don't forget the sauce!!! The green sauce is my favorite- citrusy and lots of cilantro. The red sauce really adds the spice, super good to mix the two as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Sold me a cheese pizza with nothing but cheese, no tomato sauce or anything else. I asked for a regular cheese pizza. I was expecting a normal cheese pizza made in the manner that literally every pizza place makes, e.g. with sauce. And they got it effing wrong. They should have told me or asked. Their pizza is good but expensive. If you go be sure you are getting exactly what you ordered and expected.

Yay, a pizza place where I don't mind paying over $20 for a pizza! I tried Sliver Pizzeria today and the space is amazing. A lot of space- both outdoors and indoors. They have a bar, gelato, and of course, pizza. I hope this place does well. It was empty when I got lunch here on a Friday. I ordered the whole pizza of the day, and that was $25, or a bit over $27 after taxes. They sell their sauces for $6, but they're also available to take in mini containers on the side. The green sauce is a cilantro based sauce, and it's so much better than other cilantro since I don't smell or taste the actual cilantro in the creamy green sauce. They also have a red spicy one too. So good on the pizza. Sliver only does no-meat pizzas. They have a pizza of the day with various veggies/cheeses. The one I had contained corn, zucchini, feta, yellow onions, and more. Their pizza of the day are on their menus online as well. They also have standard everyday pizzas, such as mushroom, cheese, etc. Such a fun looking spot. I hope to dine there soon. Just did takeout today.

Y'all. I could literally drink their sauce. It is so delicious. I got their pizza slice of the day (ONLY $7! FOR TWO SLICES) which had corn, red cabbage, baby heirloom tomatoes, French feta cheese, cilantro, lemon zest, garlic, and olive oil. Absolute drool . I never thought I would enjoy corn in a pizza but I 20/10 did. They even threw in an extra baby slice (so sweet). The employees here are so nice. I'm sure they didn't expect such an overwhelming positive response but I will be here again. I am also so happy I'm fully employed elsewhere otherwise I would work here full time to eat all the pizza Pros: nice environment, amazing food, good music playing, nice staff, good location. Cons: I'm so sad I can't eat here every day. I already can't wait to come back.

Parking and location: Ample and close-by parking to the entrance Ambiance and surroundings: Clean, lots of windows to balance the dim interior paneling, as far as I've remembered. Bathrooms are clean. Food: Worth the median price. Having a Mexican-inspired dipping or condiment sauce slightly surprising, but goes well with the pizza, probably to whet the appetite some more. I ordered the fungi pizza- tasty, good chewy dough. Good portions and some I could take home to nosh some more. Service: Since I was one of the other person there, it was quick and appreciate the slim selection of craft beer that I welcome

When you're craving pizza a la Cheeseboard Collective in Berkeley, but don't feel like passing through the culture filter (Caldecott tunnel), give Sliver a shot! The owners are alumni of the former and thank the heavens...they have the same bomb green sauce! This is a California style, no meat kind of place so do not complain about a lack of pepperoni, Coors Light and half-broken pinball machine. Fantastic pizza and will be back for sure!!

Phenomenal. Amazing vegan options! We ordered the vegan pizza of the day (corn and potato) and the vegan tomato pizza and both were absolutely amazing. Fresh, full of flavor, and the vegan cheese is great quality! We are not a fan of Daiya brand cheese and unfortunately most pizza places who offer a vegan option use it. Now we won't have to search anymore! Because this cheese was wonderful. The ingredients were all fresh and the crust was cooked to perfection. Staff was very friendly! We ordered online for pick up and it was smooth and simple. Can't wait to try other pizzas!

We love this pizza! It's not your typical pizza, but it's delicious. Our daughter doesn't eat any pizza except the corn pizza from Sliver.

Yelp notified me today that Sliver had opened in Lafayette and I hopped in my car right away! Sliver was a weekly staple for me when I lived in Oakland, so I definitely miss having it. Sliver has really great pizza and I consider it to be a healthier option. They have pizza that caters to all dietary restrictions, which is hard to find all in one place at times. There has not been one flavor that I haven't liked. The sauces are a must, so make sure the grab them! The employees here are super kind and are really doing great with their service. It was busy when I got there, but they got my order out very quickly. They did raise their prices, but it's expected with inflation. I still consider the pizza to be worth $28. I also love that most Sliver locations play music in Spanish. As a Latina, it's nice hearing my favorite songs while waiting for my order. Definitely a fun place and recommend anyone who hasn't had Sliver to go!

5 stars cause its Sliver what else do you expect. In all seriousness, we are so glad they expanded their stores and this location does not disappoint! This one had ample seating with a sauce bar (cause I mean if you get slivers and NOT the green sauce, did you REALLY get slivers?) btw: if you're a first timer the green sauce is a must try!! Anyways the pizza was hot, crispy on the bottom, gooey ooey cheese on top, fresh vegetables all over and just perfection. A must try if you're in the area!!!

Not my kind of pizza extremely oily and salty way too much cheese and bread was thick and barely any toppings at all so sad the crust is crispy but not firm enough to hold it all so its droopy and hard to eat with literally pools of oil everywhere and all over my hands very messy i gave the slices to my husband to eat he felt the same way about them its annoying that no slices are available after 5 they dont say that anywhere so a waste of a trip i didn't want a whole 30 dollar non customizable pizza so i had to return another day in the morning when they opened all the benches outside and in and the floors were all filthy with dirt or pizza crumbs i couldn't find a clean seat anywhere and was slipping on all the frigging crumbs on the floor

I have visited this location several times. It's a different spin on pizza, but it's very tasty. I am use to the heavy sauce, deep dish, and meat options on my pizzas; being from Chicago, it's always my first choice. But Sliver is one of the better-tasting pizzas in the Bay. Most of those pizza houses taste like cardboard to me...sorry but not sorry. ‍ Sliver is light and fresh, and I love the green dipping sauce. My favorite is the corn pizza and potato pizza. Oh, and the mango and mandarin margaritas are very good. I'll def be back. If you are a meat eater like me...try it If you are vegan... your gonna love it If you are a vegetarian and want gluten-free options... your gonna love it.

Glad to find a Sliver near my house as Im always struggling with Berkeley at their 2 Berkeley locations. Came twice this week and both times was greeted by Mauricio who was welcoming, cheery and awesome. Pie was fresh and delicious. Cant wait till they have alcohol beverages for those hot summer days.

it was really good. way better than I expected and i definitely would go back. the green sauce is key though. be sure to try that. i think it's a green chutney sauce but I'm not sure. it goes great with the pizza. the inside and outside space is nice also.

The pizza dough was not hydrated enough and the veggies were not well roasted. The service was quick and we got the pizza of the day. The pizza wasn't too hot so we reheated it in our oven. Overall the pizza was bland but the sauce was good. I am willing to give it another shot to see if some of their non daily options are better.

My husband and I have come here twice and will always visit when we're in the area. We got the mushroom pizza the first time and the potato pizza the second time. Both were excellent. We have also had the giant spicy margarita served in a novelty-sized maragarita glass, which was pretty amazing. They also have amazing green sauce that is so incredibly unique and tasty as the perfect pizza condiment! We always get great service and they're so quick, to boot! I would post a picture, but we ate it too fast and no photos resulted. ‍ 5/5

The salad was fresh and contained a delectable array of additional Items, berries, grapefruit and more! We also shared two and a half slices of their pizza with loads of vegetarian toppings. We finished with gelato. It was delicious and satisfying and Chris was very helpful. It was a great value. You MUST go!

Similar concept to Cheeseboard in that the restaurant offers a pizza of the day plus a few regular options like Cheese pizza you can order. The pizzas don't come with tomato sauce and instead they have a tomato based sauce or a green sauce you can choose between to drizzle on top or dip your pizza slice into. I love when they have mushroom or the pear pizza. The food is pricy but not more so than other pizzerias in the area

Sliver's pizza is fantastic, shades of Berkeley's Cheeseboard. The corn pizza is unique and creative and the green sauce really adds a nice touch. It's really good. But, sadly, I think custom and non-traditional pizza restaurants like these do not have a long shelf life. I don't think they attract repeat customers as much as regular pizza places do. The sliver by my neck of the woods at Danville did not last very long, and I fear that this might see the same fate. So let's keep this going and reward this place for dedicating itself to a great product. Good luck, Sliver. Unfortunately, I think you'll need it.

I understand and appreciate the concept of this place but I just didn't enjoy the pizza. I had no idea it was vegetarian, which is fine. I don't really eat a lot of meat anyway. But the 3 stars are because the pizza was very expensive and mediocre. The place was dead, the register person was dry and I got a parking ticket while waiting almost 30 minutes for one pizza ( I know not their fault entirely but still 30 minutes was excessive). Their other items may be better but I won't be returning.

It's like Cheeseboard but with variety. They have the most amazing pizzas and it is our new favorite pizza go-to for delivery. The pizzas - try them all. we haven't had a bad pizza yet. our kids even eat the cheese pizzas, so that's a huge win. The sauces - green sauce is on point. we've had a few others that were good too. The pizza always arrives hot and we have had it several times. A staple.

I have long been a fan of the Cheeseboard Collective style of Bay Area pizza. Cheeseboard, Sliver, Dimond Slice never fail to hit the spot for me. As a Lamorinda resident, I was stoked to find out that there was a Sliver in Lafayette. I have been to this location a few times in the last few months, and I can count on them to provide a fresh and hot pizza made to order with a unique flavor profile no matter what day of the week it is. We typically order the pizza of the day and have had both the regular and gluten-free crusts, both of which are really well done. As of today, a full pizza is about $25.00-$27.00. But they have a free salsa bar, which is a nice bonus and is not the case at the original Cheeseboard or Dimond. That probably accounts for the price difference. Anyhow, I like how they do things here, and I'll be back.

Food is amazing despite being very different from what is expected of a pizza place. Staff is awesome, they are so friendly and take the time to explain what's in their pizzas and their favorite picks. Location is really neat, but be aware there is a parking fee in all the nearby lots.

Don't order a pizza to be delivered. It doesn't happen. When I called Sliver they said they have no responsibility for the delivery. So, I will have to contact my credit card company to disallow the charge. Bullshit.

Yummy food, great ambiance and service - great all around. Got the mushroom pizza and the waffle fries for three people and we were all full - definitely worth the price. Everything was super hot (a good thing), really fresh, and it all came out super fast! The sauces are delicious and you can get as much as you want. Plus, staff are friendly and plenty of room to sit. Bathrooms were well-kept and so was the restaurant overall.

This is by far the best sliver out there!!!!! with the most biggest MENU YET!!!!!!!!! They offer you everything and every single type of pizza including a pizza of the day. And much more fresh sorbet and ice cream and DRINKS!!! Kids pizzas are also available at a very great price!!!! This service is absolutely incredible. Super friendly. I'm super happy that I got to meet one of the family members that owns the business Jerry is extremely helpful And a really great service provider. The dogs that we have are allowed which is absolutely mind blowing especially for a pizza place that is very unheard of. I'm honestly lost for words on how much product and quality this place provides. 10 out of 10 recommend please come in here and give it a try make this the new pieces but you have to go to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it looks so beautiful inside really really really welcoming and not too on your eyes it's very pleasing!!!!

Reminds me of Cheeseboard in Berkeley but without the drive and wait. The crust is a little thicker, but chewy and crisp at the same time. We love the corn pizza and the green sauce is spot on. Pair that with a salad, some cold beer on tap and a salad and you've got a great Friday night dinner. Definitely should have stopped by sooner but now it'll make our Friday night dinner rotation on the regular.
