Downtown Eatery Sloane’s Corner Reopens With New Sicilian-Style Pies - Eater Dallas

"Downtown eatery Sloane’s Corner is the latest entrant into the field with a new pop-up called Pizza Leila. Helmed by chef Ji Kang, the new pop-up will operate out of Sloane’s Corner, slinging saucy and cheesy Sicilian-style pies." - Rachel Pinn

I had a solo dinner here on a Wednesday night. It was a very quiet night for them, but good for me. I ordered the burger, and it was delicious. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and the bun was full of buttery goodness! It was massive, and I couldn’t finish it, despite being a plate cleaner. The waitress was friendly and the service was excellent. I would definitely come back here for the burger alone.

I stumbled upon this charming little cafe tucked away in the Trammell Center, right on the corner of Ross. I chose a cozy corner window seat to soak in the lively atmosphere of the street. For breakfast, I went with the breakfast sandwich, and it was absolutely scrumptious! The sandwich was packed with flavor, and the crispy hash browns on the side were a delightful addition. The service was friendly and attentive, without being too overbearing.

Had lunch at Sloane's with my co-workers, and was blown away. Appetizers were AMAZING - definitely get the brie brulee; it's wonderful, delicate, and great for sharing.

The food was delicious. Our appetizer crab dip and freshly made potato chips. My friends orders the salmon, pork chop over mash potatoes, squid with basil, I had the entrée special grouper. We really enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend.

Google
Happy hour alert! They have a special menu with discounted drinks (like $5 martinis on Friday) and small bites for happy hour throughout the week. We tried their $5 espresso and cosmo martinis, and a few small bite appetizers. The arancini was delicious, as were the meatballs and crab dip! The vibe was sophisticated modern.

Google
Roaming downtown and looking for a lunch spot, a friend who works at the Trammel Crow Center recommended Sloane's Corner downstairs, and I can say our experience was an unexpected delight! Both the service and dishes were all exceptional. I especially enjoyed the BLT and Saffron Capellini. We arrived just after the lunch rush on a weekday, and just in time for happy hour which features some great specials on snacks and drinks.

Google
Great ambiance in this restaurant. Date nights and celebrations would be amazing here. My partner and I celebrated 1 year anniversary here and I’m glad he picked this spot. Our waiter was amazing, attentive, knowledgeable and patient! Chicken was tender, juicy and amazing. The paste was flavorful. Banana pudding was actually very delicious. I thought it would have a strong banana taste but it did not. There are slices of banana on the top but you can move it off.

Yelp
Location Downtown Dallas-near arts district Parking We took the trolley-generally lots/garages in this area. Service The best-ask for Jesse Mon-Fri. Menu Specials daily. Monday is all day happy hour. Competitive happy hour menu-drinks @$8 and eats @$10-15. Sandwiches, soups, salads, entrees. We had the meatballs-6 with a delicious roasted tomato sauce, dollop of cheese, and grilled bread. Fantastic!! 6 meatballs with such a savory sauce! Hint of red pepper. Serves breakfast to dinner. Summary Delicious upscale but great prices downtown restaurant. We will def be back!

Yelp
Brought my mom and mother in law here for Mother's Day brunch and we loved it! I made reservations and they ran about 15 min late so we sat at the bar and had drinks. They sat us under an insulated awning by a really nice glass-enclosed fireplace, which made everything cozy. It was pouring outside and a little chilly so it made our table perfect. Loved the special Mother's Day brunch menu - it was awesome! The appetizers were honestly my favorite part by far. Cracked pepper bacon deviled egg, mini lobster rolls, and watermelon tomato salad. Delicious! The entrees were varied but I didn't particularly love mine - I got the lobster and asparagus egg white quiche and it was over baked and dry. My mother in law got the traditional eggs Benedict which was amazing and my mom got the steak and hash with bernaise sauce. Both were really really good, although the steak was a little over cooked too. The desserts were chocolate covered strawberries, mini tres leches coconut cupcakes, and tiramisu cheesecake. The flavors were good but the cheesecake was frozen... should have been thawed out more. Overall I would definitely come back. This was a new menu so I'm sure there were some tweaks needed but I loved the ambiance, the service, and most of the food. They have lots of daily/happy hour specials, makes me wish I lived closer to downtown so I could take advantage!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! I came here doing my staycation at the JW Marriott hotel and my little breakfast although it looks little held a great punch it was super tasty. The croissant was homemade and buttery. The bacon was really good and my espresso martini stole the show, it was really really good! The service was amazing. My bartender was attentive if she was to me about what my concerns were for my espresso martini, and she made that happen. Sloanes corner is a nice little coffee shop or just a small breakfast place where you can have an intimate, but also a very nice and elevated setting.

Yelp
Great spot for lunch during the workday. Service is quick and I was in and out within an hour! Parking was only $5 for the hour and for the portion of food the price was great, the mussels were only $12. I came during happy hour and didn't have to wait which I loved. The mussels were very good and I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Sloane's is a fine spot for a cocktail and dinner in downtown, perfect for the business crowd. We stopped in with a big group on a busy weeknight and were pleased to be immediately seated. We started with a few cocktails- the bee's knees and gin martinis with a sidecar hit the spot. While the menu is not the most exciting in town, there were a couple nice vegetarian friendly options. We started with the bread and pineapple chutney, before my entree of tomato soup and a big salad. Other's burgers and pasta looked equally as nice. A good elevated option, especially for the rather sparse neighborhood.

Yelp
We came on a Friday for brunch and it was super slow so we were sat right away. The brunch menu is very small, so I opted for the chilaquiles which were really good. I wanted a side of potatoes, but they were out so I couldn't get any. For a drink I got an espresso martini which actually was one of the best I've had. It's super cute and small inside. I would come back for a drink.

Yelp
Went here with a bunch of friends and had a blast! The food was great, nice atmosphere, and excellent service. Such a great experience and considering the quality of everything we ordered, reasonably priced.

Yelp
I've had a raw oyster craving going on like the last couple of months. Your girl STAYS tryna save some coins so when I read that this place offers $2 oysters and $5 martinis, it was calling my name aggressively! Oysters on the brain all day, that MONDAY. DO YOU HEAR ME?! I don't think you understand how serious of a matter this was. When I sat my happy a$$ at that bar and the bartender looked at me dead in my face and said they had NO oysters...to add insult to injury, she slid my way probably the worst dirty martini I've ever tasted in my life. I can't explain it. The olives were very "soft"...just wasn't right. Boy, I was hot! I jumped through many hoops to make this date happen. (Getting off of work early, finding childcare for the kiddos). I know it's not their problem, but as a business owner, I find this to be a little unacceptable. I wanted to leave right away, but Zaddy convinced me to stay....can't say "no" to Zaddy, right? We ordered the lobster corn fritters, calamari, and onion dip. The fritters...please skip! The pieces of lobster were probably the size of about 1 grain of rice. The coating was very thick and dense...had me feeling a little heavy. The calamari was bland and the squid ink aoli wasn't for me. The onion dip tasted pretty yummy. The crab added a nice touch to the texture and flavor. I really wanted to like this place. It's cute! The reviews are solid. Get it together!

Yelp
First time going here, although it is always on rotation for my company's work lunches. Not going to lie though, after going I now see why. It was smaller than I thought inside though, so don't know if it's the best for large parties. However it was packed! Service was good, and for being a lunch time crowd, they brought the food out so quick which was great because it helps to get you in an out in good time. So many great options on the menu, and wasn't sure what I wanted to order, but the Poke Bowl was recommended by a coworker to me so that's what I went with and it was perfect. The spicy mayo sauce on it was delicious, and it was just light enough and filling for lunch time. I wanted to also try the Hot fried chicken sandwich, but my coworker said it tends to be a pretty hearty and heavier dish although also delicious, so I'm going to come back for that one when I don't have to go back to work (no time for naps on the job) lol . Other recommendations by fellow coworkers: Burger and truffle fries Chicken Paillard I also think the Saffron Capellini and the Sloanes Salad sounded amazing! So needless to say I will be back to try all the items on my extensive list! LoL They seem to have some good daily and Happy Hour deals to check out also.

Yelp
This place is soooo good!! My table and I got the Fillet Mignon, Twice Fried Chicken, and the Gnocchi and they were all amazing! We were seated outside under the awning and the heaters were keeping us perfectly warm. The twice fried chicken was nice and juicy and the spicy ketchup was killer! The only reason why they lose a star is because the lady that welcomed us had a bad attitude. But other than that, everything else was killer!!

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times for dinner, and I have enjoyed everything I've had. My first time was with a group of girls; we came here for a convenient place to eat before heading to an event by the Winspear. For appetizers, we shared the Tuna Crudo, the Brûlée Brie, and the fried calamari. The tuna crudo wasn't what we expected--it was similar to a gazpacho--but it was very good. My favorite was the calamari because I'm a squid lover, and this one was thick, tender, and well prepared. As for the entree, three of us decided to share the Chicken Milanese, and it's a good thing we decided to share--the portions are GENEROUS! Our server was considerate enough to divide the dish into thirds and serve them on separate dishes, and one would have a hard time believing that each dish only contained a third of the serving. The dish was delicious too. My second time was a more intimate dinner with a friend. We shared a number of small plates: the calamari (again), the crudite, the biscuits, and the lamb meatballs. My friend didn't love the squid ink aioli that was served with the calamari. She wanted something with more of a zing, so she asked for a marinara dipping sauce, and that elevated the calamari for her. I liked everything else we shared. One note on the biscuits: our server raved about them, and I enjoyed them. My friend enjoyed the biscuits too, but she said the Red Lobster biscuits were better. So take note, for you Red Lobster biscuit lovers. :)

Yelp
This is generally my go-to breakfast spot. I order breakfast here at least twice a week. As of late, the food quality has gone downhill. I usually order the breakfast tacos w/bacon. Well, I might as well skip the bacon with the small amount that is given. The last few times, the food has been cold and the presentation looks like it was thrown together. When a friend mentioned the cold food, the manager was unconcerned. He actually looked irritated that this was brought to his attention. He is not friendly at all and, in my opinion, shouldn't interact with the customers. At the price of $10 for two tacos, I don't think that is asking too much for the food to be hot and presentable.

Yelp
I went twice in the four days I was here and both experiences were excellent. The roasted peach Brie brûlée was enough for a happy hour dinner for one, and the espresso martini was a light and refreshing drink. The next time I had more time to enjoy the patio dining and can recommend the calamari steak with squid ink aioli as an appetizer. The red snapper entree was pretty, and delicious. Good service, nice ambiance, and exceptional food both times I visited.

Yelp
PRO TIP - sit by the windows near the bar/check in area for a more private date night feel or for natural daylight This is a gem in downtown Dallas. Sobriety is not a challenge with the cocktail menu here they have fantastic zero proof options! To snack on highly recommend their Calamari (probably some of the best I've had in Texas), meat balls and the fig salad was absolutely delicious! (Even for those who don't enjoy eating fig!)
google avatar

Ashley R.

Yelp
The service was fantastic! Everyone was so nice, and the patio is a wonderful place to dine. The salmon was well seasoned, but the lobster fritters were a little over cooked. One of the coolest things about Sloane's Corner is that they have zero-proof drinks!

Charles R.

Yelp
Ok tried their new Reuben Sandwich today and was very disappointed. For 24 dollars what go was a cold mess! Barely any sauerkraut at all. I love Reuben sandwiches and at $24, not a chance. I have always found the food to be just average at a way above average cost!

Yelp
Sloane's has a simple breakfast menu but the food is perfection. The ingredients are fresh, flavorful, and filling! For breakfast, it's a calm ambiance with light music and plenty of sunlight. The server was kind and even gave us recommendations on her favorite meals here. It was a great experience for breakfast!!

Yelp
Story time: We we're going to eat someone else that Saturday evening but they didn't have any room for our group of 6. So we called sloane's across the street and they said that we could sit outside in their covered area. We were skeptical because it was cold and rainy but the outside area did not disappoint. It was heated and a structured tent (not just a patio). We sat outside and then a guy came and played some great live music. I honestly think sitting outside was better than sitting in the small interior. We definitely lucked out there! We ordered a bunch of different items on the menu like then Brûlée Brie (super delicious), the catch of the day (which was bass), saffron capellini, chittarra vongole, and the sweet potato cappelletti. I personally ordered the chittarra vongole and it was ridiculously delicious. That plate was clean by the end of the evening and all I want to do now is have it again. It's one of those dishes that are unique enough to where it's a new tasting experience compared to what you would normally order at a restaurant. This place was a 10/10 on service and food. All plates were cleaned by the time we left. I'm very happy that the other restaurant was full and we got to come here!

Yelp
During normal hours it can be a bit pricy for drinks. You are paying for the upscale ambiance. But, Friday's it is happy hour all day. Cocktails are really great and are about $8 during happy hour. Food is good but nothing incredibly outstanding. My friend got a burger and fries and I got a tuna toastada. What really stood out was the service. Really attentive and accommodating servers, host, ect. Amazing staff they have there.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place! It is a fabulous find in the heart of downtown. It is a good place for a cute date, or a dinner with friends- not too formal or too casual. The service was excellent- everyone was very attentive, and our glasses were never empty. The food was the best part! We shared a few things- the calamari with squid ink aioli was so flavorful, and was one of the best examples of calamari I've ever had (even better than most of what I've had in Italy). The steak tartare was so tender and had a nice balance of flavor. The black mission fig salad was a wonderful balance of sweetness and savoriness. I had the zero-proof "juice box" to drink, and my mom had the bee's knees- both were delicious drinks. We were so full from our appetizers and shared salad that we couldn't eat another bite. I will happily return here in the future, and will definitely get another order of that calamari
google avatar

Yelp
Dog friendly! Warm welcome and seated in their heated, covered patio. Chicken Paillard was excellent!

Yelp
We popped in for lunch after a visit to a nearby museum. This place is clearly popular with the business lunch crowd and I think we snagged the last table. We enjoyed the food but I daresay cocktails are the real star here. I didn't plan on having a second drink but the Bad Hombre was so good that I needed more. My poke was good but I was pretty focused on my drink. Menu is pretty meat-heavy (as are most Texas menus) but there were a few options for my pescetarian self. Definitely a good downtown option and make sure to get a cocktail.

Yelp
I have patronized this restaurant on several occasions, particularly in the mornings. Here recently I've found that the quality of my usual order (breakfast tacos) has taken a dive. One too many times I've returned to work a few floors above and have found that my tortillas were cold and I've had to reheat my order. Today, Friday, May 24th I brought it to the attention of the guy who appears to be the manager. After simply asking him to have the chef ensure the tortillas are warm since I wasn't satisfied with the last few orders, the look of irritation on his face didn't sit well with me. After sharing this information with him, he shrugged his shoulders and repeated to the chef, "yeah make sure the tortillas are warm." I spent many years in the customer service industry and that is NOT how you respond to a customer's concern. VERY shortly after sharing that information , he handed my bag to one of the servers to hand off to me and stated, "There are your warm tortillas!" I then returned to work to find that my food had been thrown together in my opinion. Tortillas were still cold and eggs were warm. It is clear that no regard was given to my concern.

Cary E.

Yelp
I think this place is a bit overrated from my experience. Not bad, just not great. I liked the atmosphere, there was a live band on the patio which was cool, and the bartenders were awesome. But being in a high rise office building and being open for breakfast, lunch and dinner made it feel a bit like and airport or hotel restaurant. Not sure it really bothered me that much though. Service was fast, friendly and thoughtful. The happy hour was pretty awesome (in concept) with tons of food items to try at a discounted price. However, the Friday special martinis and HH red wine were way too sweet for me which meant we ended up ordering drinks from the main menu in the end. The food was the bigger problem. The mussels were served in the wrong bowl, it was too deep which meant that a majority of the mussels were not exposed to the broth which was unfortunately too watery and under seasoned anyway. I would have appreciated some brine and acid to the broth like some capers, pickled shallots, tomatoes, lemon juice, etc and definitely some salt and pepper. The arancini was too dense and was also begging for flavor as the rice and the batter had absolutely no flavor at all (salt again please). The only flavor to be found was from the sparce amount of sauce used which was not enough fix the bite. One big plus was the meatballs. It was if a totally different chef had prepared them. Yummy! Batting 1 for 3 off the happy hour menu we decided to go for the Hamachi crudo which was pretty good albeit a bit fishy. The flavors were certainly there though. Other reviews see things a bit differently than I did, so maybe I'll give it another try one day.

Yelp
Jumped in for a quick bite and it turned out to be a wonderful experience! Stayed longer, ate more, and simply enjoyed every minute!

Yelp
This place is a must try. Salmon was cooked to perfection! So full of flavor on a bed of mini carrots and split peas. We also shared the calamari appetizer which had roasted basil leaves that gives the dish a unique flavor to them along with some red peppers for that little kick. What surprised me about this dish is the squid ink sauce which looks like bearing grease. If you ever worked on cars I'm sure you've had some of the dry grease fall o your face. I guarantee that the flavor of this sauce is nowhere near what bearing grease tastes like . This sauce has a mayo like texture but the flavor is pretty unique. Service and ambience is great. Happy hour menu is also worth the visit. My work colleague says this is his new spot as he's tried almost everything on the menu during his stay in Dallas. Reasonably priced too. That said, add this to your list of places to check out. Maybe after you're done visiting the Art museum you can stroll over for some day drinking. Helpful hint: happy hour starts at 2pm

Rosabel B.

Yelp
One waitress and the manager are super rude. They don't accept international ids , although they are located in a building where many international people work. I've had 2 discriminatory experiences there with the same waitress. Never stepping there again. And if you're international and you get that waitress, well good luck..

Yelp
Went here as a last minute decision before going to the symphony. We were running late and asked if they thought they could get us in and out in an hour, and they were happy to oblige. The restaurant was incredibly cute. We sat on the patio which was covered and heated. We shared a bottle of tasty, reasonably priced wine. We had the mac and cheese (incredible), truffle fries (incredible), and the burrata salad (also incredible). The menu was full of creative takes on comfort foods, as well as a number of tasty sounding pastas. Definitely plan to return!
google avatar

Hannah M.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised, for the most part. A seemingly nondescript restaurant inside like a random apartment building with tacky signage, but surprisingly cute on the inside with a nice bar area. I was able to be seated immediately. My martini that I ordered was underwhelming but nicely presented. We ordered the fries and the goat cheese croquettes for the table. Both were delicious but overpriced ($11 and $15 respectively). Croquettes in particular were rich but lacked sophistication. I ordered the halibut for my main and it was delicious with a filling side of potatoes and veggies. My colleague got the branzino which she said was great and my other colleague liked his pasta. Desserts underwhelmed us; we liked the banana bread pudding but the cheesecake was borderline bad. Service was fine but a bit rushed and weirdly paced, and it definitely impacted the experience having to use the restroom by navigating a literal maze of a building. Wasn't bad by any means but I wouldn't rush to go back.

Yelp
My friend and I treated our moms to brunch here for Mother's Day. Since it was Mother's Day, we did not have the option to choose from the actual menu, but luckily they had a great pre-fix menu. The For The Table dishes were delicious, and the ambience outside on the cover patio was lovely. We throughly enjoyed the deviled eggs, chocolate croissant, and the fig and Brie crostini. My mother and friend ordered the breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns. They both disliked their scrambled eggs because they were bland void of salt and pepper. On the other hand, I loved my burger and the taste of the traditional eggs benedict I tried. The only con was the 35 dollar mimosa carafe which is pricy compared to other places.

Lindsey L.

Yelp
Fantastic place just down from our hotel. Amazing variety of food that was delicious. Happy hour was perfect!

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance and friendly, attentive staff. Food was incredible. Great place to stop before a show at the symphony hall for some shared plates and drinks.

Yelp
We have found that finding a great place to eat on the first night of a vacation is really important to set the tone for future dining adventures. For us, different places to eat is a large part of our vacation experience. After searching through Yelp in our hotel h and taking the advice of Yelpsters from visits gone by, we picked Sloane's Corner. Wow, we hit the ball out of the park as they say in baseball. The restaurant is in the corner of an office build lobby, hence the name. We were seated a nice table in the rear along a glass wall looking into the lobby. It was a quiet private table and it allowed u to really enjoy the evening. Our server was terrific (unfortunately her name as slipped my mind). We shared a warm artichoke dip to start and both had Sloane's greens. Our entree's were the Thursday Special Fish and Chips. Huge portions of fish and fries. Fish portions and fries were very good. We left the restaurant stuffed and strolled back to the hotel on a beautiful spring evening. Looking forward to a repeat performance on a future to Dallas.

Yelp
Service, excellent. Food, delicious. I loved everything. We stopped here after going to an event at Klyde Warren park. Sloane's corner has been in my list for a while and it didn't disappoint. After day drinking, we were HUNGRY. Our waiter recommended the burger and it was yummy. The fries were literally perfect. They were crisp, thick but not too thick and just delicious. I honestly wanted to order more fries but my boyfriend wouldn't help me eat them so I didn't . The burger meted in my mouth. Everything was just yummy. We tried the olive cake for dessert. This was good but I wouldn't order it again. I loved the experience and will be back to try other items.

Yelp
We really enjoyed lunch here. Ordered the calamari and cheddar biscuits. Both were really good. For the main I ordered the tomato soup and kale salad. My husband ordered the ham and Brie sandwich which came with fries. It was all really good, but getting to the parking garage was a bit of a pain and their bathroom is not in the restaurant. They share a common bathroom in the building.

Yelp
Great sit down lunch spot. We ordered the Focaccia and a burger and BLT sandwich (subbed the Bacon for Chicken). Loved the atmosphere for a quick lunch and service

Yelp
I stopped by for a quick lunch and had the BLT sandwich with bisque soup. Both were fantastic. Bacon was perfectly cooked. The soup was delicious. Fast service.

Yelp
First time here and what' a great spot to meet with friends or in this case coworkers. We sat outside and have a great patio. We made reservations and would certainly suggest you do the same the place is popular. Our waitress was excellent and provided very attentive service. Bar got a little backed up but waitress was sure to apologize and keep us informed. The food was great. The black fig salad excellent loved the truffle fries, and artichoke dip. Nice location to the Myerson as a place to go pre event. You can walk easily.

Yelp
We went to see the Dallas Art Museum yesterday from Austin, TX and had lunch at Sloane's. The food was delicious and the service was warm and personalized. So much so that we came back today before going back home. Special shout out to Jesse who took really good care of us and was always attentive and on top of things. I highly recommend Sloan's to anyone visiting Downtown Dallas.

M K.

Yelp
Food and drinks were fantastic! Ambiance was contemporary/swanky, a great date night spot to catch drink/dinner. They also validate parking...which I was not aware! We were in a rush to see the DSO across the street and had only 45 min to wrap up a dinner. April was wonderful in recommending food options. Their drinks, we had their old fashion, and it was perfect, burgers and the appetizer bre brûlée' was delicious! Such a summer vibe with grilled peaches and rustic bread. A must, that I think I am going to try making something similar at home! The food came out quick and overall a great evening! We will visit again to try their other food options.

Aaron X.

Yelp
Came here twice. First time, had the chicken sandwich (10/10). Second time, had a Mac and cheese (9/10) with added chicken (1/10) and an espresso martini (10/10). The added chicken on that Mac and cheese was the driest shredded chicken I've ever had, but honestly, it was a custom request so it doesn't reflect heavily on the restaurant. On the other hand, I'm docking a star because of the prices. Yes, the food and service are great, but I just can't give a $17 chicken sandwich 5 stars. Overall the menu is not crazy expensive though. I would recommend this place for happy hour, a client lunch, an upscale dinner before/after a show, or even an average casual meal if you have the funds.

Yelp
Hidden gem! I enjoyed the ambience and the food. My first time trying bone marrow and it didn't disappoint. I would say the service was fine, not overwhelmingly good or bad. I would go there again, however it wasn't anything to "write home about". Something get inauthentic, but I can't put my finger on it. It was a fine experience for a before theatre bite.

Yelp
Yelp pictures for food recommendations are not always accurate. The first blonde blue eye waitress mid age I had was HORRIBLE, and I do not point out service crew because they are hard working people. I initially wanted to order something off the menu, she gave me this very dismissive and nasty attitude, and repeatedly reiterated said order from the menu! Then she brought over my kids drink, all spilled over the desk and cap with residual which had a 'blast' over my kids outfit, no apology whatsoever, and didn't even bother to clean up until I asked. Without any confirmation, she took all the plates, which we were going to share food with. ‍ Overall, her service was the epitome of horrendous experience. Shout out to April, our second lady, who deserves a 5-star review. She is attentive, and friendly. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the calamari with squid ink aioli. Fig and fennel salad was finely made as well. My kids loved the pasta. Kids meal were fine, and once again, the first lady did not asked how my son wanted his burger patty to be, it came slightly rare, and not cut in half for him to consume. Restaurant setup was spacious for a small restaurant. Will come again just for the food not the first experience service.

Yelp
Got the Calamari with Squid ink aioli and it was INCREDIBLE! One of the best calamari dishes I've had because of the unique aioli. Service was average but would try this place again for other menu items.

Yelp
We just ate at Sloanes corner our table had the hamburger and the Spinach Gemelli which I would highly recommend. They were both good meals the the gemelli had good flavor and was very good with the spinach pasta. Both meals were severed very hot. Our waitress was fast and very nice with recommendations on the menu. I would recommend this restaurant for a quick elegant meal. Pricing was more than fair as well

Yelp
Cocktails and food are wonderful. Service is attentive and prompt. We dined on a Saturday night and the vibe and atmosphere was very energetic especially around the bar area. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Another good spot with yummy dishes. Right across the museum in downtown Dallas. We love a good Moscow mule

Yelp
I usually only leave reviews if the restaurant is either amazing or terrible. This time it's the former. First off, the atmosphere was very nice (modern yet cozy). I wanted a sangria, but the drink menu didn't have it so our server Emily told the bartender and the bartender made one on the spot for me. The service was excellent. We ordered the roasted oysters and calamari for appetizers. I preferred the calamari. Roasted oysters were okay (only 4 for $18). I would pass on these next time. My wife ordered the lobster bucatini which was amazing. I ordered the Butcher's Block with Filet Mignon and it was cooked perfectly. We finished off with the banana bread pudding which was perfect after a big meal. I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this restaurant.
