2 Days in Paris: Authentic Bistros and Hidden Gems Locals Love

"Housed in what was reportedly once an épicerie where Honoré de Balzac shopped, this accessible art gallery/boutique’s second outpost specializes in the work of emerging and experienced artists spanning multiple disciplines." - Lindsey Tramuta

28 Best Places for Shopping in Paris | Condé Nast Traveler

"Housed in a former pharmacy in the 11th arrondissement (with a sister location near the Luxembourg Gardens), I find La Slow Galerie to be a true hub for illustration and the graphic arts: Lamia Magliuli and her team will walk you through differences like silkscreen versus digital printing and point you toward one of the roughly 5,000 works on display, from emerging and established artists hung side by side to stacks of prints in bins like vinyls; each piece is often signed and numbered and prices range from about €20 to over €1,000, making it accessible to many art lovers." - Lindsey Tramuta

I was so excited to visit Slow Galerie while in Paris, and it didn’t disappoint! I’ve never been to a gallery wanting to buy so many pieces. They have a massive selection of curated, framed artwork from local artists, all hand-numbered with certificates of authenticity. You can purchase the pieces framed or unframed. It was so fun to look through all of the art, and I ended up choosing a handful of pieces to bring back to decorate my office.

They have very nice limited editions prints supporting local artists! I bought 2 copies of the same artworks and most probably I will order more online as I was on a very short trip. But it is worthy to pay a visit to this place

Although I didn’t buy a painting this time, this place was a hidden gem. They got plenty of work coming from different artists. It’s really good to dig for treasure here. The paintings are affordable 👍🏽
