"After a diversion into pulled pork, Slow Richie’s has its own restaurant and a renewed burger menu focussed on beef. There’s a black pudding burger, for anyone still mourning the Bleecker Black, and a haggis-topped number too with barbecue sauce." - James Hansen

"Open Thursday — Sunday, the return of Slow Richie’s has been a boon to Peckham Rye burger fans, and its click-and-collect / take away service makes for an excellent interlude before or after a visit to the park. If willing to walk a little further, or arriving from the station, there’s a whole clutch of excellent restaurants on the way down, including jerk from JB’s Soul Food or Smokey Jerkey if coming from Queen’s Road and New Cross respectively." - Adam Coghlan, James Hansen, Emma Hughes

Meatless farm vegan option (Meatless chicken) is a solid choice and was tasty but there are better, juicier options out there such as Honest Burger or Halo Burger for vegans. The croquettes were quite bland. Great choice of hot sauces (all made in-house) and friendly staff. Worth a try, There are however other Vegan burgers that would come first for me. Meat options looked spot on and a much wider range.

Wonderful people working here, cozy burger joint, tips can be added when you pay (be generous!). Good haggis beef burger (first time I ever tasted haggis, need to try again on its own). Restaurant capacity approx 20 seats. The entrance is a bit hidden by the pub but signage visible from the road

Tried the Classic and March Special. Delicious. Well worth a visit if you are a burger enthusiast! Sauces are lovely too.

"If you don't like burgers, try again, here at slow Richie's, maybe you will change your mind" That's what said once one of the greatest burger lover - me. 10 stars, Tried many times. From the very early beginning and the quality is always the same (if not better. Absolutely tasty meat, fluffy bun, simple menu and absolutely great chips So far the best burger place in south London (if not in all London area. The guys are always polite, real and kind, with great sense of humour.

Got to go to this place in it early days at Brick Brewery Taproom. I am so glad they've been able to open a proper brick and mortar location. They make some really amazing burger well balanced of spicy Sause and just a meaty burger. the staff are also extremely friendly.

Ordered The Classic burger (swapped out the chilli lime sauce for BBQ) and a portion of chips. Undoubtedly the best burger I've ever had. The golden soft brioche bun, the juicy patty, the tender pulled pork.. YES, YES, YES a hundred times YES 🤤 ... Satiety and satisfaction levels 💯💯.. and this was delivery.. can't wait to try it out on site 🤤🤤

Finally today we manage to get to taste the burger from this place that I've heard about for a while . Well for the food I would have to give 5 star taste amazing , high quality of meat and chips. The only reason why I won't give 5 star is only for bad costumer service. I try to ask for a coke and the guy told me that they have only some sort of organic drinks only and I replied saying politely " sorry I will leave it for now " as I'm not into that type of drinks . Well the guy behind the bar gived me attitude as I wouldn't go for the organic or drink or whatever it was . I find it really rude.

Yelp
If I lived in Peckham this would be my regular spot. All our party had a different burger off the menu and all were very pleased; even the veggie burger packed flavour! Loved the savoury and crispy chips. Everything tasted fresh. Conveniently sharing a space with a micro brewery you can down your burger with a decent ale. Brick Brewery is located next Peckham Rye rail station and on a Friday evening the area was buzzing with locals getting their hair done inside the numerous late night afro hair salons and hipsters drinking up the scenery. Don't be tempted by the other better known burger joint next door, Slow Richie's is the primo in this part of south east London.

Yelp
The best burger I have eaten in a very long time. Even the chips are good! Also the apple soft drink is very nice. The seating area is good and the heaters do keep you warm! Good prices too.

Yelp
Used to be amazing. But deployed a brutal marketing strategy this year that involves removing the burgers but maintaining the prices. If you're confused by that you should be. It's a burger restaurant that doesn't sell burgers. Just toppings in a bun. So if you want an ironic hipster burger experience you'll love it. Otherwise.. there's an Honest Burger next door.
