Elizabeth did a great job on my tattoo, was professional but also super fun, had great communication and was extremely accommodating to my experience. My tattoo is literally perfect, not a dot out of place. The attention to detail made all the difference and my expectations were exceeded.

I have gotten 5 tattoos at slowpoke by both Ashley and Alex. They are AMAZING. On the technical side, i prefer hand-poke because of the detail and delicate lines that result. On an interpersonal level, both artists are delightful to work with from their inspired well thought out designs to how great it is to talk to them. If i could rate this shop 10/5 i would.

This shop is the CUTEST little bungalow to grace the streets of East Austin. The clean and well styled lobby has collections of vintage art, collage, handmade jewelry, and sick merch. The artists who work at Slowpoke are the friendliest creatives you'll ever meet. No intimidating dude-bros tatted from head to toe here! The meditative repetition of the soft stick and poke style puts you in a relaxed state as you get beautiful body adornments! Love everything about this place and it's people 💕
