Delicious, from the Baos, to the rice, to the Ramen, all very good, highly recommend. Bao are great, pork belly the best but tempura mushroom close second best. Noodles are fresh and made in house, they pair perfectly with the flavorful Ramen. Fried rice was delicious, not too much, perfectly seasoned, the roasted chicken was good, on the dry side but tasty. Booth tables could be limited but plenty of high tables available. Service was friendly and attentive. Happy slurping, Buon Appetito, Piatto Pulito 😋

This was my first experience with ramen that doesn’t come from a .99 cent package. Amazing flavors! I could drink the broth by itself. Will definitely be back.

Google
This was my first time... my daughter and I were quickly sat after being greeted. Great atmosphere especially for lunch. Alotta of windows and bright light. Our service was great. The food was pretty good. The standout buy FAR was the ginger. I ended up spending $6 (3sides) of it. Best pickled ginger ive ever had!

Google
Flipping phenomenal place! Their sushi options are minimal, however their ramen is amazing 🤩! You must try! I had mine #4 spicy and it's was great DFFC miso ramen [spicy] duck fat fried chicken, bean sprouts, kimchi, buttered corn, molten egg, scallions, sesame seeds, chili flakes, chili oil.

Was in town for a bit over a week for work and went twice. There are a ton of great options in the Easton area, but it was so good we just had to go back again and miss trying something else new. I dont think there is a bad choice on the menu. Our party raved about the Ramen bowls, and I sampled a wide range of sushi. I struggled to get pictures before we dove in, but the sushi rolls are works of art as much as they are delicious. The staff are friendly am attentive and everything is nice and clean. We hit dinner hours through the week and never had to wait more than a minute or two for a table and food came out quickly. This is very much a local destination!

My mom, kids and I went to the slurping turtle when we flew from NM. Amazing! The staff was friendly and accommodating especially when we decided to move inside from being seated outside. Food was amazing! Service was excellent, when we’re back in Columbus we’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Google
We always enjoy the Slurping Turtle. The sushi presentation is always done well. There’s better sushi options in Columbus but they do have fun and unique rolls.

Google
Takoyaki and ramen both one of our favorites. Though the takoyaki didn't come out right away; a new experience of having it with leftover broth was an experience. Service was wonderful, it was crowded, but not overwhelming. The bathrooms are in need of some attention for maintenance.

Yelp
Was so glad to find a slurping turtle in Ohio after we loved our experiences so much at the Ann Arbor Michigan location! We went on a busy Saturday evening and there was a wait, but they were transparent about this and we were able to walk around. Just be prepared this location is busy and for good reason! Everything was perfectly prepared and fresh and our server was very snappy with the service which was great. We had the duck fat fried chicken and some sushi rolls and nigiri. My favorite was the chutoro nigiri. Out of this world delicious.

Yelp
We came on a Friday night without reservations and had to wait 45mins. We registered our name and no. and waited for a text message while we wandered the area. I like the modern interior. Tables are mostly bar height with some regular tables on the sides. There's also outside seating and although the heaters were on, nobody was seated there on this cold November night. Food is decent and tasty. Ramen is nowhere near what a ramen tastes like. Soup is basically an Asian broth. I wouldn't say it's not delicious but can't call it ramen. Duck Fat Fried Chicken is crunchy and tasty. My miso soup came cold. When I complained, server apologized saying this is the last bowl and they're making a new pot. Although that's not a good excuse, she quickly replaced it. I will consider coming back when I'm craving for Asian food. It's a good thing to have where Asian food is scarce. For this reason, I gave them 4 stars.

Yelp
The food was good, though I don't think it is worth the price point. The tofu bao was fluffy and savory, and the accompanying salad was a nice fresh accompanyment. The spicy edamame was tasty, about on par with the one served at a rather popular sushi chain. The red curry was savory and tasty, but the flavor of peanut felt a little out of place, and I wish there was some acid, like a lime wedge, to balance out a dish that is very oily from the deep fried vegetables. If you are vegan, ramen isn't an option, only rice noodles, and I thought they were a bit mushy/overcooked. The dish is lacking in protein as well (tofu would be nice). Service was kind, quick, and helpful. The ambiance is fine, dining hall style, nothing to write home about. I was pleased it was not too loud on a Saturday night. I appreciate the option for a seasonal cocktail but I certainly did not think the peach fizz was worth $15. I came here because of the hype. I'm glad I tried it, but I won't go back. There are better ramen options in Columbus.

Yelp
Slurping Turtle - Easton, Columbus, OH Visited July 2025 4/5 for the DFFC Miso Ramen alone (continue reading:) The Broth: Steaming hot, layered with rich miso flavor and chili oil warmth. This is the kind of broth you crave when you're under the weather or just need comfort in a bowl. Noodles & Toppings: * Noodles had a nice al dente bounce (not house-made texture, but still solid). * Corn was soft--could use more crunch. * Kimchi? Excellent. Bright, tangy, and worth asking for extra. * Ramen egg was visually great but cooler than I'd prefer, likely prepped ahead. * Fried chicken was crispy and seasoned well, but gets soggy fast if you leave it sitting. Tip: Ask for it on the side. They also serve S&B ramen pepper at the table (tasty, but the fine print warns of BPA exposure--makes you wonder what we're sprinkling without thinking). Service: Friendly but not hovering. My server split my leftovers into separate broth/noodle containers without me asking--a detail that really matters if you plan to reheat. Space & Atmosphere: Very busy on a Tuesday night. Big garage doors open up to the sidewalk for fresh air and people-watching. If you're not into crowds or prefer a quieter meal, consider takeout. Parking: Paid parking in the Easton Preferred Park lot next door--enforced only on Level 1. Be ready with the ParkMobile app or look for free spots nearby. Overall: I've tried all their ramen broths, and the DFFC Miso is the only one I consistently come back for. Haven't branched into their sushi much (I prefer Mr. Sushi in Gahanna for that). Bottom Line: Broth worth the trip Get your chicken on the side Kimchi is underrated Paid parking is Level 1 only Would I return? For this bowl, yes. Would I dine in again? Maybe--but more likely I'd grab it to-go and savor in peace.

Yelp
Enjoyed an early dinner here with my sister over the weekend. Their patio is perfect for prime people-watching and the interior is modern and sleek. Food quality was good, but portions are somewhat small. For the price point, I'd rather go to a more authentic place for sushi. We really enjoyed their drinks. The mango moment cocktail was great, and comes with a nice slice of candy to top it off. Also enjoyed the red dragon roll.

Yelp
We were seating right away when we first walked in. The ramen was super delicious and the serve was attentive to placing the spice on the side. The portion was large enough to do carry out for leftovers. The atmosphere was overall calm and the space was vibrant. A great ramen joint in the middle of Columbus.

Yelp
Slurping Turtle has been on my list to visit for a while. Finally we had a chance to visit. Once we entered the place, it was half empty but the guy at the front told us that we have to wait about 1/2 hr, So we waited since I really wanted to try their Ramen. Once we were seated, our server came with the menu. She went over the menu and gave us some recommendation. Our server was really sweet and friendly. We ordered the Red Curry Ramen and the Roasted Chicken Bao. In general ramen noodle is on the salty side, but this ramen was extremely salty, but the boa was decent. I was really looking forward to the ramen but unfortunately the food fell short for me and waiting 1/2 hr to eat salty, mediocre good will not be a repeat.

Yelp
Great visit this time, service was excellent, food was very good. Deal of the century isnthe kids bento box, salmon, California roll, edamame and fruit!!! The DFFC pho bowl is the bomb but the sushi roll was ok, there is way better sushi out there
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Server was just OK sushi was mediocre. Food was way overpriced. I've had better food and sushi and other spots. Definitely not coming back here again.

Yelp
Met a friend for lunch at Slurping Turtle. It was a first-time visit for us both! Thought it was lunch time, it wasn't busy at all and were seated quickly. Fun, upbeat pop music was playing and the space was spotless. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and had the best server (shout out to Chris!) He walked us through their extensive menu, too, which was great -- and also incredibly difficult to choose from! We both went with their classic shoyu ramen; me because I wanted to see how they approached the classic and my friend because it was her first time trying ramen!) Broth was very flavorful, albeit a bit thinner than others I've had. The eggs were perfect, as was the pork belly (big pieces, too, which was very appreciated). The bowl itself isn't the largest, but it filled us both up. For $17, it's pretty expensive for what it is but I would still visit again if I'm in the area. The really nice manager also asked us hoe our lung was, which was really kind. The service here is top tier. I hope that never changes!

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch while in the area. Honestly, not a bad spot for some sushi and ramen. Our food came out quick and was pretty tasty! Service was fast and friendly. The place itself is cute and has some quirks to it. Would recommend if you need a ramen or sushi fix!

Yelp
I was not overly impressed with my experience at Slurping Turtle. We arrived on a cold winter evening, and upon arrival, the gentleman at the front told us there was a 25-minute wait (even though there were several open tables). Seeing how this is the only ramen place nearby, we waited to be seated. Once seated, we had a great experience with our server. She explained the menu to us and checked in with us throughout the evening. The ramen itself was not that great - it was too salty for my liking, and there was not enough protein in it. I did enjoy the baos, and although, we didn't get it, the Duck Fat Fried Chicken that some of the other tables ordered looked good. With so many great dining options in the Easton area, and with so many great ramen options in the Columbus area, it's unlikely I will be back here.

Anthony S.

Yelp
Cocktails were great and the duck fat fried chicken ramen is excellent! Server was also great. Room we were seated in was probably a little brighter than I'd like but that's not really a big issue. Definitely stop in if you're in the area.

Yelp
If you're craving fried chicken, sushi, or ramen this is your spot. I love the ambiance and how nice all of the staff are. You truly can come here for any occasion. My favorite things we ordered were duck fat fried chicken, which sounds crazy but it is DELICIOUS. I got the duck fat fried chicken ramen and the flavor was perfect. So comforting and packed with ingredients. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
First time ever at Slurping Turtle and I have to say I was impressed. Located right in Easton. There was plenty of parking around and it's right on the corner. They have plenty of seating indoor and an outdoor patio as well. The vibes in there were super cool and very well done. Our server was very nice and accommodating. Our food came out pretty quick and it was delicious!! The smells, looks, and taste of my dish was excellent on a cold rainy day. I got the shrimp ramen and added the spicy sauce to it. ( so good if you like heat). I'm not over this way very often but would go back again.
google avatar

Jeni P.

Yelp
Stopped here on a work trip and I'm so glad we did! I had the DFFW ramen which was rich, flavorful and just the right amount of spicy. The gyoza were also so hecking delicious. Arrive was prompt and warm, even when I was super rude and on a call for a few minutes. I will be back!
google avatar

victoria d.

Yelp
Love this place. Eat here every time I stay at the Easton. I sit at the bar because I'm usually alone. My only disparaging remark is being able to hear the wait staff complain about other patrons. I get it people are annoying but the bar is within earshot. The food is delish and most of the servers are terrific - especially the woman who runs the bar. Just a note ...people can hear you. People are all human. Good days and bad.
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
The location is good and the modern decor was nice. Our server was very nice and food was brought out quickly. As for the actual food, we had shrimp stir fry, shrimp ramen and fried Brussel sprout. The stir fry was just okay as it did not have much flavor. The ramen and the Brussel sprouts were tremendous. My daughter talked about the Brussel sprouts for the next hour after we left. Definitely will be back but will not get the stir fry next time.

Yelp
Delicious! I live near Ann Arbor and have never been to Slurping Turtle!!! (Wrong on many levels!) When I saw there was one near my hotel in Columbus, I had to try it! Perfect lunch and such friendly staff! Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Gabriel G.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended and I was very much looking forward to it, but unfortunately it fell very short for me. Service was super friendly, but really slow overall even just for drinks. I did enjoy the ambiance of the place alright and the restroom area had a cool anime mural. The food unfortunately fell very short for me though. The Shoyu ramen had waaay too much fish sauce in it and overpowered every other flavor in the bowl. The maki roll presentation was a little sloppy and the flavor was practically nonexistent which was weird considering I was getting a spicy tuna roll. The fried chicken was nice and crispy with good presentation, but again, where is the flavor? The mulled beverages were delicious once they arrived fwiw, but the drinks and ambiance would not bring me back for the mediocre meal.

Yelp
Lil slurp (kid's menu) got 2 thumbs up from my 9 year old. The shrimp tempura was delicious, as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Fun, hip, food in Easton. Asian food with a modern twist. Full bar and parking nearby. Service was great and the food was good.
google avatar

Prathmika J.

Yelp
My first time trying this place, and I have to say, the ramen was absolutely fantastic. I loved it so much that I finished the entire bowl! The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the soup was flavorful. It came with all my favorite toppings like kimchi, corn, bean sprouts, and molten eggs. This dish and their service deserves a 5-star rating. I went on a Sunday, so the place wasn't busy at all. They have a wide variety on their menu, and I'm excited to try more dishes when I'm back in Ohio.
google avatar

Candrell B.

Yelp
First time there and food was great! Even my 6 year old loved his noodles! Our server was great and attentive too!
google avatar

Janus C.

Yelp
DFFC ramen was my fave - order the chicken in the side so it stays crispy. Their molten egg is pretty good as well. Service was fast and kind.

Diana R.

Yelp
Best ramen ever!!! Service was a 10/10 vibes were amazing in here!! Ps I'm writing this as I'm devouring my plate

Yelp
We didn't have reservations but they were able to seat us at the bar quickly and it was great time. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick and they were really nice/helpful. I got the original ramen, duck fat fried chicken, and 3 baos. Ramen was good but the pork could have been better. It wasn't melt in your mouth pork pieces. I loved the yolky egg and bamboo. Next time I want to try the tonkatsu bc I do like a creamier broth. The noodles were delicious and chewy. The fried chicken was my favorite. Crispy and came with a spicy sauce. We got the chicken, pork, and veggie bao. All very good. The veggie one tasted like an egg roll! Oh and I got the lychee drink and it was so good! And pretty! I was confused at the bathrooms lol but quickly figured it out. It was single rooms with toilets and the sinks were outside.

Tongyu Z.

Yelp
The food itself was fine, but the service ruined the entire experience. The host (I believe her name is Jocelyn) was extremely rude and dismissive. I came alone on a Tuesday afternoon around 4:45 when the restaurant was practically empty. Upon arrival, I was told I could only sit at the bar. Since I don't like high chairs, I politely asked if I could be seated in the main dining area, but the host refused and said I wasn't allowed to sit at any of the regular tables because I was by myself. She insisted my only options were the bar or a window bar-style seat. There was no reasonable explanation for this -- it was not busy, and I wasn't asking for a large table. The way she spoke to me felt discriminatory and made it very clear I was unwelcome. I have never been treated so unfairly as a paying customer, and it completely ruined my mood and dining experience. I really regret that i didn't asked for the manager on that day, but the management needs to take this seriously -- guests should never be treated poorly or denied normal seating simply because they're dining alone. This type of attitude toward customers is unacceptable.
google avatar

Randy O.

Yelp
First time customer however, I will be back.... again and again. Everything was great. Highly recommend the Duck fat Fried chicken ramen.

Chris M.

Yelp
Mediocre ramen. The egg was hard boiled, hardly the 'molten egg' listed on the menu. It was not marinated either from what I could tell. We were told they do them in large batches and sometimes they get it right and sometimes they don't and if they brought us another it would probably be hard boiled too. Overpriced for what it is. Much better at better prices to be found around the city. Service was great though.
google avatar

Taylor A.

Yelp
This place has only gotten better with time. They have one of if not my favorite tonkotsu ramen!! I went today for the last day of restaurant week and got a 3 course meal for $30, which is an absolute steal. What I really came to write about though was the service. My server went so far a beyond what he had to do, was the biggest helpful sweetheart, especially with my two kids who he treated amazing and talked to them instead of me and treated them like capable humans. I didn't catch his name and I wish I did. I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Brenda T.

Yelp
Slurping Turtle My first time here. I was greeted by the waitstaff & Restaurant General Manager. When you taste something wonderful (and colorful) you can't stop at just one bite. [So much for saving 1/2 for lunch ] Butterfly Lemonade STIR-FRY Chahan Japanese fried rice w/ egg, vegetable medley, scallions, sesame seeds w/ pork belly, chicken or seasonal vegetables
google avatar

Anna H.

Yelp
We had a delicious dinner after a long day of flying. We got seated at one of the higher tables (not the *comfiest* chairs but we can overlook it because the food was so good). The tonkatsu ramen, dragon roll, as well as edamame blew us away. We loved how fresh everything tasted and how the ramen wasn't just a bowl of salt. Fish was tasty and high quality. Our server Colton was very friendly and attentive. Overall, great evening and fair price. We shared the bowl of ramen and sushi and it was enough for dinner!!
google avatar

Eddie O.

Yelp
Great food and super nice staff. Very nice prices also and everything was on point. I'd almost make another trip from Texas just to go here again
google avatar

Devin P.

Yelp
Solid Ramen and good service in my experience. My fav is the DFFC. When ordering the DFFC Ramen I get my chicken on the side so it stays crispy. Good amount of spice without being overly salty. I'll return.

Elaina D.

Yelp
The salmon nigiri was fresh and delicious. The crab poké was underwhelming in portion but tasty. The bao dough was fluffy but there could be more shrimp in the bun. The service was polite but a bit neglectful. My friend's ramen had broken shell pieces in it. The music was all 2010s pop.
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
I was starving after driving 4 hours with nothing more then a quick bathroom break. I came straight to the mall so I could stretch my legs and get something to eat. I'm familiar with this location since they have one in Ann Arbor. Walking in, it was busy even for the middle of the day. I reviewed the menu and saw how big their Ramen bowls were and decided it was way to much for me at that moment so I went with sushi instead. My server was awesome, friendly and took care of me the entire time. Food was amazing, and I was full at the end. Considering that it's on the higher end of what it costs to eat out (about $20 a person) but really good. Menu is not huge, but there's enough options that you can find something to eat here. I still want to go to the Ann Arbor one, but overall, I am happy to have finally tried this place out. Tons of seating as well!
google avatar

Mark K.

Yelp
I kept meaning to come here, but it's just not on my way anywhere. It was nearby today. Super easy to find, handy parking garage attached. Indoor and outdoor seating; very friendly and efficient staff. Very interesting menu, tons of things I want to try. I got a tiger roll, which is tuna and veggies and all kinds of sauces. And of course, had to try the duck fat fried chicken. That came first, and it was perfect fried chicken, with excellent flavor the whole way through and a crispy coating. Yum. Yum. Yum. Came with an unnecessary sauce, which you could also use as a dressing for the cabbage salad it was served with. Not really a shareable app, you will want this all to yourself. The tiger roll was very, very good. Huge, fresh, flavorful. Perfectly rolled. I left satisfied, if not quite full. Decent, but not huge, portions. The price is high. It's not a place I can come very often. But for a splurge once in awhile, we will be back.

Yelp
My wife and I have gone to this place the last few years on New Year's Eve with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. One of my favorite restaurants in Ohio. I think about this place often throughout the year. Can't wait to go back counting down the days to December 31st. Delicious Ramen great service and overall good vibe.

Yelp
We were a party of 3 and decided to sit outside on the covered patio. It was very nice outside and the place was spotless ! We had a very attentive waitress who gave us quick service. We ordered edamame for the table. It came with a nice dark sauce . The edamame was warm and salted and was a perfect appt for Us to share . I got the california poke bowl which looked like it belonged in an ad for the restaurant. The portion was large, and so wonderfully presented! It was also super delectable!

Yelp
We tried to go to slurping turtle but the only seats available were high tops and I can not sit at a high top. They told us it would be 30+ minutes for a table so we left. will try again

dominic p.

Yelp
Where do I even start. To begin we were a walk in party of 2 on a Saturday night and were quoted 15 mins by the hostess. The table was a little early and I called and they were super kind and let me come in 15 mins later because we were stuck in a store. When I got there we were sat right away but that's where the quality of this meal ended. To begin with we were sat at the table for like 10-15 minutes before we got any service including a simple greeting and waters. Then thankfully the manager noticed us and grabbed waters for us. We were later then greeted by our actual server Michelle. We ordered appetizers which were the yellowtail avocado sushi roll and the Brussel sprouts. The sushi had an awful metallic taste to it but the Brussels were quite good. Our server was pushing our personal space and made us slightly uncomfortable too. Also our ramen bowls took around an hour to come out after ordering which was ridiculous. Prior to ordering our one bowl it was not supposed to be spicy but came out covered in chili oil and the chicken that was ordered on the side was inedible, dry, and rubbery. The redeeming aspect of the meal was the manager recognizing our displeasure and taking care of the bill along with checking in during our meal. Love the front of staff and respect for the manager but the meal was below satisfactory.

Yelp
Slurping turtle is actually a chain but I wanted to try it since spotting it a few times in Easton. Last time my friend and I tried to eat here, they were short staffed and there was a long wait for a table. When we came on a Tuesday, it was busy ish but we got seated right away. Pretty diverse crowd. Glad to see people are open-minded to try ramen! They do have a few vegetarian options on the menu, so my friend got a vegetarian bao while I tried the pork belly bao. Not the best I've had. Tiny amount of meat for the price. I got the DFFC ramen which had kimchi and duck fat fried chicken in it. Hence the name, DFFC. The waiter told us it was pretty spicy. It had a chili pepper next to it on the menu. Not all that spicy imo, maybe for someone whose tolerance for spice is low. The broth was probably the best part about the bowl. Otherwise, it's just alright. It's an Americanized take on ramen but it's not as great as other ramen places in town. My friend got the Red curry ramen. Like me, she thought the broth was the best part. Sparse on the toppings. The vibes were another selling point. They have tvs by the bar and played a good selection of pop music from ten years ago and current songs. Prob the reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 3. I wouldn't mind coming back just for drinks. Service was good. The waiter let me take iced water to go lol.

Yelp
First place I visited when I moved to Columbus, Ohio. Food is delicious and service is always on point. I keep coming back because it's really good! If you enjoy ramen this place is a must!
google avatar

Haleigh P.

Yelp
I have been to slurping turtle twice now in the last couple of months & enjoyed this place a lot more than I thought I would! I have never really eaten ramen before but I tried the DFFC miso ramen and it was amazing!! The sushi here is also fresh and tasty if ramen isn't your thing. This place can get pretty busy on the weekends so arrive early or be prepared to wait. If you are into ramen it is definitely worth the wait.
google avatar

Yelp
Best advice, don't leave here without having some of the Duck Fat soy sesame Fried Chicken. Ohhh myyy goodnessss so good! We loved the pork belly bao, very fluffy bread and juicy pork belly. We had the delicious Tiger Roll which is spicy tuna, cream cheese, cucumber, topped w/ kani kama, tempura crunch, masago, spicy mayo, unagi sauce. Spicy Tuna Deluxe Roll, with yummy salmon, avocado, jalapeno, cucumber topped w/ spicy tuna, unagi sauce, spicy mayo, and masago. Also tried their hot sake they make in house. Warms the belly and the soul. Have been here twice now and both times were amazing. My FAV is the fabulous hostesses are the DJs playing a playlist they cultivated together and it's so good. Love coming here, eating, and hearing from good music, many times I found new hits to add to my own Spotify list.

Yelp
Nice little find at Easton on a rather cool day . We enjoyed the , Classic , DFFC and the Hakata bowls . All were as described as well as plentiful and flavorful. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. It was very busy but the wait was not horrible. I'm told that it is the norm ! Definitely on list of return!

Yelp
Establishment was clean and nicely decorated. We were seated immediately going in at 430pm on a Wednesday. Our waiter I think her name was Aurora checked in on us occasionally and even corrected the protein that I requested and didn't even know it was not what I wanted. I didn't know better, for it was my first time. I would have known when I started chewing on the pork. Regardless it was a quick, speedy appetizing ramen. They have vegan options as well as sushi and different Japanese entrees. The kids menu has a few options but nothing my toddler would honestly pick and eat herself. I shared my ramen with her and surprisingly she liked it and finished what was given to her! They have a nice SAKE menu that is fairly priced for Easton. I love that the restaurant is attached to the free parking garage. Definitely worth a try!

Great food at a reasonable price. High quality with good service. I've heard others rave about this place, and they were right to do so.
