New Mid-City Restaurant and Wine Bar Taps Former Blue Giant Owner | Eater New Orleans

"The four-year-old, primarily drive-thru brand is expanding into the area with a lease for a Clearview City Center location in Metairie and three more planned in metro New Orleans; the concept focuses on cheeseburger sliders and waffle fries." - Clair Lorell

Went by earlier today and ordered 2 cokes with our meals. As the cashier Gabby was handing me the first drink, it looked reddish to me so I asked if it was a coke. Her response was both rude and loud telling me both the drinks are the same. I went about my day assuming the sun shining on it did that. Get to where I’m going 5 minutes away, all of the food was cold with old patties on the sliders. To top it off the drink I questioned turned out to be a sweet tea..my coworker was not happy. Needs better service with employees that can tell the difference between a coke and sweet tea. Will not be returning to this location again.

Food is always good. Wait is sometimes long and the workers often miss the mark with napkins and side of smauce/queso. It’s extremely disappointing to have to get out again/ go thru drive thru again…especially when kids are in the car. This has happened too many times to count, but my visit on yesterday was great. We were one of the 1st people in the drive thru and everything was perfect so I decided to post.

I just moved back to NOLA from Baton Rouge, where Smalls is a staple. I was really happy to see we got a Smalls out here, but I was surprised to see the negative reviews about the burgers being bland. I’ve eaten smalls sliders countless times, so I have an idea of how they’re supposed to taste, and I know that they’re always flavorful. However, to my dismay, the previous reviewers had good reason to think the sliders from this location were flavorless. Their sliders didn’t taste like the many I’ve eaten before. I knew something was off in the first bite. Something was missing, or at least lacking. It didn’t fulfill my smalls craving because it didn’t taste like smalls. What was missing, or, in this case, severely lacking? The smalls sauce. There was only one dot of it right under the pickle. I implore this location to stop skimping on the smalls sauce. The sliders as they are now are not proper representations of what smalls does best. This location has so much potential, but the product here needs to get up to company standards. Like, look at the pictures Smalls has of their sliders and notice that the sauce isn’t a small dot hidden under the pickle. Please, please, please don’t cut food costs with the sauce. The potential profit margin isn’t worth the reputation damage. I’ve attached pictures of one of the sliders. Real smalls fans know this isn’t right.

I just spent almost $40.00 on three meals. I was very disappointed to see that my daughter’s meal had about 7 waffle fries. I would expect more fries in a kids meal. The food is good here but not worth the price for the amount that you get.

I was so excited for Smalls Sliders to open, but that quickly turned to disappointment. The line was a bit long but moved rather fast. I ordered the 3 sliders meal with a sweet tea. The tea was delicious. Everything else…not so much! The food was really greasy and bland. The fries looked so good but didn’t taste like anything. The burgers seemed like a poor quality of meat and one of the other guests had a raw burger. I paid an extra $1 per slider to add bacon that I ended up throwing in the trash because it was just barely done. For 2 people, we paid almost $30 for 3 sliders each, waffle fries and drinks.

Wait was long. Our first time here. The prices are very reasonable, the sliders tasty. My kid ate 2 and wanted more. The fries are very crispy even 5mins after we left for the drive home. I would definitely return

Last time I came through my order was wrong, I let Corey know and he assured me that they would make it right. A few moments later Bailey returned with a fresh combo and a complimentary queso! I am going back tomorrow! Love the staff and the patio

The sliders and fries were great today! My son wanted me to go back! Ms J brought my order to the car since we ordered a few no cheese and before we knew it she was at our window with fresh food
