Smash N' Bite

Not going to rate the atmosphere because they are currently functioning as a canopied pop-up directly in front of their soon opening brick & mortar spot on Burbank Blvd; catty-corner from Valley College. That said, I tried the double cheeseburger to-go because for me, that is the anchor menu item for any smash burger joint; and I was very pleased with the result. The meat was seasoned and exhibited all the caramelization you'd want in a smash and the sliced, grilled-to-perfection onions with an excellent melted cheese combined to produce a well executed double cheeseburger.

Ordered the double lettuce wrapped with fries and a soda. Fries were crispy. Not much flavor but the sauce was interesting and yummy. 4 stars. The burger was very good, but felt like something as missing (maybe the bun?). If I were to order again, I would order the triple. 4 stars Soda was a can of Dr Pepper. Wish there was more available (fountain). 3 stars Ambiance was fine. Small and cozy. It appears they lease the space from another non-dinner restaurant in the evening. Only open after 6 PM. 4 stars I was the only diner on a Wednesday around 8:00 PM. Service was friendly and food came out pretty quick. 5 stars. Struggled to find parking. Eventually parked on the street in front about 30 yards down the road. 2 stars Good, but not enough to keep me from trying other burger places in the area next time.

I’ve been to a lot of smash burger spots and this one is one of the top ones I’ve been to. The waygu beef is what separates this spot from other spots. The seasoned fries were also semi crispy for the perfect crunch. I would come back here, the service was good. The guy at the front was really nice I wish I had got his name. You guys should try this spot out!

Went to easy street only to find they were closed so we stumbled upon this GEM of a spot inside Vivian's cafe. STELLAR smash burger. INCREDIBLE cheese (literally the best you'll find). And such sweet people working here. Food influencers come blow this place up stat! We couldn't have been happier to have had to find an alt dinner plan tonight. Walk don't run!!

By far the best burger place I have ever had. Nothing and I mean nothing can compare to this.

Tried a lot of smash burgers but this place has me locked in. The staff is very friendly the burgers are amazing you can taste the quality with every bite. I highly recommend for anyone to try it out.

Damm I didn't expect this place to be that good but they exceeded my expectations for real for real! I tried thr double double and it was juicy waygu meat ans the sauce was really original and yummy. Also they're prices were amazing compared to EAZY STREET AND FOR THE WIN. MUST TRY!

I loved the burgers. Patties were perfectly seasoned. Easy Street is kind of bland compared to this place. In our saturated smash burger market, it's hard to be impressed by a special sauce, but I couldn't get enough of the sauce here. I'd take Smash N Bite's burger over a handful of the heavy hitters in L.A. As soon as I had a French fry I knew they would be divisive. Their style of fry is the same one you get at most "hood burger" spots. It's not mind blowing, but it's comforting and nostalgic. Fresh out of the fryer and paired with the special sauce, they really hit the spot. This is my new post-Universal Studios spot. Staff is super friendly, 10/10. Tip: I was confused as to where the place was, but note that it's inside Vivian's cafe.

Fast, fresh, and friendly! Went in today to grab a quick dinner and was not disappointed. I got the number 2: double smash burger, classic fries, and a soda. It was the perfect meal. The burger was very thin and flavorful. I also really liked the burger bun too! This space takes over Vivian's Cafe, if it's your first time going!

Everything was delicious! Had been wanting to come try this place for months, and it did not disappoint. The meat was very well seasoned and the fries were crisped to perfection. Service was fast and friendly. Will come back soon.

Burger?! 12/10 AMAZING and flavorful. Drove around in circles trying to find parking. So annoying. Ordered out. Ended up parking illegally in front. It's inside Vivian's. Fries? Suckkk. I ordered the seasoned fries and they taste like they just came out the bag into the fryer, pass on the fries from here. Really bummed. If you want JUST a burger, it's worth it, if you want burger and fries you're better off somewhere else

This is located inside of a cute little restaurant. We order two combo #1s with seasoned fries. The burger was delicious and the fries were amazing, perfectly crispy and thick. We really enjoyed our meal here and have recommended them to friends. Service was quick and friendly, he came and asked us how it was and thanked us for coming in as we left.

One of the best smash burgers I've ever had. Burger was well seasoned, crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Bun was fluffy and steamed. Perfect ratios of condiments. Great sauce. It's a symphony in your mouth.

Bro I paid $6 for Cajun fries and they gave me this? What the f*ck? Are you serious? These burgers better so good that they offset the fries. I could've bought a bag of potatoes at Costco, fried them in my dogs nose oil, and still made better fries.

Very solid burger! In my opinion what makes a good smash burger is the perfect blend of everything involved! It was tasty and wasn't too greasy. I got the 4x4 and my wife got the cheeseburger. We both enjoyed it! The fries were just okay, but I personally think fries can only be so good anyways. Right away we were greeted with a friendly employee! Very helpful with any questions. Inside it's pretty small which I imagine people order to go often. Also I think it's either really new still or it's an extension of another restaurant. We went at night after universal, it was slightly hard to realize it was the burger place. So keep your eyes open for a sign or two. Parking is either the street or there is backlot. If you are near by or really enjoy smash burgers you should try this for sure!

Great addition to the studio city area. Quality food and excellent flavor. The flavor of the meat was excellent and I loved the crunch the shredded lettuce gave - refreshing in a weird way. Great service and food came out pretty quick! Since this is at Vivian's there's plenty of seating and is great for any sized group.

Pretty good spot I found because my friend wanted a good turkey burger. Didn't order it but he said it's good. I usually get the doublesmash and the Loaded fries. Pretty good.

We were looking for a place where we could sit down and enjoy a good burger. I Googled "Burgers Near Me" and Smash N' Bite popped up, we live in the area and we've never seen this place. I Google Mapped it and saw that it was next to Vivian's Cafe, we've never seen a new place go up in that location so I called the number listed to find out where they were located. Jack explained to me that Smash N' Bite takes over Vivian's Cafe after hours - Kinda like a Pop-up. I tell him that's a pretty idea and we're gonna have to stop in sometime and try it out, I said thanks and goodbye and continued my search for a Burger place. About 5 seconds later I get a call and it's Jack! He asks if we want to try out the place tonight, and if we go there for dinner he'll hook us up with some food, just tell the server "Jack sent you" I was kinda surprised and said "sure, that sounds great, we'll see you in a few." So we got in the Jeep and headed to Smash N' Bite! When we walked in we were greeted by Sam, (very nice young man) I told him that Jack sent us, and he said Jack told him to expect us. He handed us menus and seated us. We talked with Sam for a few minutes, looked over the menu, asked a ton of questions, then ordered. I ordered the #1 with grilled onions and battered fries, my wife ordered the #3 with regular fries. Our food came out pretty fast, about 5-10 minutes. The fries looked amazing (didn't think to take pictures of the food) and they were!! They were crispy on the outside and airy inside - delicious!!! As I mentioned, we were looking for a "Good Burger", well, Smash N' Bite Burgers aren't "Good" - They are Amazing!!! I highly recommend place, the food is amazing and the service is great! Delicious food and wonderful service. We ordered two sets of burgers and fries. The burgers were so flavorful. I got the battered seasoned friends and I highly recommend trying those! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Our server was so friendly and attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. One thing to note - we did have a bit of a hard time finding it since it is inside Vivian's. Also, we walked, but parking is definitely limited if you do drive.

Service was very friendly! And we had the whole place to ourselves. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I prefer these loaded fries over the in n out animal styles fries! Definitely a must go place to eat after universal :)

My partner and I decided we wanted burgers tonight so checked this place out! Ok so first let's talk service, the person who greeted us and took our order was very friendly and prompt. Everything seemed like it was cooked to order. The food itself was delicious. Definitely recommend for the food. The burgers were a great smash burger style burger and the fries were stereotypical fries but perfectly seasoned and well cooked. The ambiance is whatever they are using the dining room at Vivian's Cafe. It's nothing special and fairly small BUT you're coming here for the great food not the scenery. Overall recommend and would absolutely come back!

What I assume is a nightly pop-up in the iconic Vivian's Millenium Cafe on Ventura Blvd, Smash N Bite was a solid grab on the way home from a night out. We ordered a single (no onion, no mayo, add pickle); a double (no onion, add pickle, add mustard), and an order of seasoned fries per the cashier's recommendation. Burgers were pretty good. Our fries could've been regular fries for all we knew; they seemed like just regular salted fries. Their Smash N' Sauce is a mustard-based creamy sauce. Pretty good. The added pickles we paid for came as one small kosher pickle on the side, not slices on the burger like we were expecting. They throw in small, yellow chili peppers on the side for free. Had to wait 10-15 min from the time we placed our order, so we just sat in our car out front while we waited. There were tables inside, but we weren't sure if we could use them if we decided to stay; they looked like they were set for when the restaurant was going to be flipped back to the cafe the next morning. Street parking only.

Was absolutely delicious and hit the spot we were craving a smash burger. Good little pop up shop located inside another restaurant. A few tables inside not good for groups over 4. We got take out off yelp app. Arrived early and the host started our order asap and was ready in ten minutes. Good friendly service. Got the double was delicious and crispy wagyu high quality patties. Secret sauce was good tasted like in n out but better. (Way better than Bk) got the Cajun fries, were thick cut and a bit soft but still good seasoning. Would come back loved it!

Awesome smash burgers! We got a double with regular fries, and a double with Cajun fries, both with hot chilis on the side ($11 for the double, $4.50 for fries, $7 for Cajun fries but they have combos too). They use wagyu beef and it's super tasty. Definitely satisfied the smash burger craving. I liked how the burger stayed intact the whole time and wasn't so greasy. The fries are good too, crispy and salty. They're a pop up on Ventura (at Vivian's cafe) across from the Ralph's. There's some parking out front or if you're getting to-go you can try to park at Shell.

I have a burger and fries maybe once a month as a splurge on my otherwise health conscious, organic, pasture raised, no hormones, no sugar, no artificial ingredients etc. diet. I was going to get a regular burger but ordered the double at the hosts suggestion. HUGE disappointment! The burger was paper thin, completely overcooked and tasted like garlic salt. The cheese on the burger looked and tasted like velveta, there was no tomato, just few strands of shredded lettuce and a weird pickle & a tiny pepperchini on the side The fries were even worse! To add insult to gastronomic injury, they didn't have change for a $20 and asked me to use my credit card. I later noticed they charged me an additional 3% cc fee. What?!?

Delicious, fast, and fresh - exactly what you would want from a smash burger. Highly recommend getting grilled onions and upgrading to the Cajun fries, you won't be disappointed! Staff is very friendly as well and make this place a cut above.

All I can say is ..........They Bussinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! These little smash burgers are fire. I do have to say the meat patties were a bit thin but over all, the it's a great delicious burger. Ingredients are fresh. Had to double back and order another. The ambience and service is cool. It's a little cute cafe joint right in Ventura.

My friend and I were craving a smash burger so we found that Smash n Bite was just up the street from us. I ordered the #3 (hamburger, fries, and drink combo) and my friend ordered the #2 (double cheeseburger, fries, and drink combo). The service was sooooo quick and friendly, we had our food within 5-10 minutes. My smash burger was on the smaller side compared to hers but that was expected and it was the perfect portion! The first bite was heavenly and not to mention, the fries are SO GOOD! I love crisp fries and these were fried to perfection. The drinks come in the form of cans, so no fountain drinks. We will definitely be back for more burgers, great service, and even better ambiance. :)

Super great service! A couple odd choices are going on here - no sign! I understand one was damaged previously but having another business' name on yours makes it hard to find. Place was empty, which was nice for us, but can't be good for business. I'd love to see bacon on the menu as an option for the burgers. Also, Coke Zero. Diet isn't the same! The food, though...so good! Get the grilled onions on the burger and the battered fries! Well worth the cost.

Solid smash burger! Best in the valley I've had so far. The meat is seasoned well, the bread is soft and buttery. The regular fries are standard, but not disappointing at all, I'll have to try seasoned next time. Ordered and had my food in less than 10 minutes, but it was a Sunday night and there were no other customers so results may vary. Overall a welcome addition to the smash burger scene in the valley.

This spot is great. The smash is perfect. It's an old school burger and it's delish. The burger is tasty. Always cooked to perfection. Oh they have some sauce they serve with the burger which you've got to make sure to get. (They forgot to put it in my to go order & we were bummed) I like their fries too. But the best part is the service. Each young person that works here has always provided great customer service. I usually take it to go & we love it.

Had to drop a quick review about Smash N Bite - their smash burgers are insanely good! Casual vibe when you walk in, and the smell of those burgers cooking? Unreal. I grabbed the triple patty burger, and it was everything a burger should be - JUICY and just packed with flavor. Literally melts in your mouth... really excited they're on DoorDash now. Definitely my new go-to burger spot. 10/10

Chill back patio @ nights Service is on point The burger is dank Meat was smashed correctly so it was nice and crispy The bun was like warm and soft kinda like steamed with their happy face stamp on it. Classic diner fries was a good change from crinkle cut or shoe string fries. The sauce we different then other smash burgers and I loved it. It was more of an aioli style rather then the usual thousand island spin off. Thank you Art, you satisfied our late night smash burger craving for sure!! A+ definitely recommend

The double cheeseburger is incredibly tasty to me----but it's their fries that have me dreaming on repeat. I have not tasted other variations beyond original recipe, but i just cannot seem to remove myself from the beautiful crisp and delicious seasoning made with absolute dedication to the art of the French Fry . The service from Diego is very friendly and considerate----he's always kind and amazing.

Open late, just in time to get last burger before hitting the town. Can't say enough about places like this. They save the night. Service is quick, as it should be and I never had to ask for anything extra, always given on time. it's a cool place, good looking inside and outside. Grab a bite at any time. Good people and good food.

Simply garbage first of all the stereotype come in here with money and Boss with all his coworkers coming from a fucking concert overall experience got pushed to the side and said that we close at 11:45 when I was there at 11 enough said.

Pretty good smash burgers! The little shack itself doesn't feel inviting enough because it's so small and randomly located but they have a back patio that's kinda nice. Studio city has some pretty good smash burgers within 1 mile of this place tho and I prefer those over this a lot more. Still worth a try!
