What’s Fueling the Success of New-Wave Eatertainment? | Eater Twin Cities

"A 30,000-square-foot multiplex that combines a wide slate of activities with a full bar and a “scratch-made kitchen,” this suburban venue is built around pickleball but also offers duckpin bowling, party darts, shuffleboard, karaoke, cornhole, axe throwing, an arcade, a small bowling alley, an all-season cornhole green next to a plush lounge, and a vast outdoor yard-games space. The author’s axe-throwing vignette is precise: lunging with a dull-edged hatchet, arcing it behind the head while a coach named Wolfgang demonstrated; the axe hit “the outer rings of the bullseye, a red-and-white screen image projected onto a sensor-calibrated plywood board,” and the author’s avatar — “a lion wearing a red flannel shirt” — flashed on screen: two points. The brand’s founder, Monty Lockyear, is described as a former marketing executive and early pickleball prospector; Kelly Sims, vice president of marketing, says the company’s target demographic centers on three archetypes: “the athlete, the ‘21-plus’ customer, and the family.” Private events like bachelorette parties and corporate team-building are noted as popular. Operations director Kristin Kroeger emphasizes that the venue’s appeal lies not only in the sports but in the combination of activities, full bar, “scratch-made kitchen,” and social premise, which she says alchemize into a single “legendary experience.” The space can feel cavernous — “the cavernous feel of a waterpark” — and is deliberately built to accommodate broad, social gatherings; details such as a neon-lit arcade packed with teenagers, couples clutching cocktails on the turf-carpeted cornhole green, and a happy-hour crowd in the outdoor yard area are foregrounded. Small theatrical touches (flat-screen TVs cycling event ads for trivia and glow-in-the-dark parties) and oversized novelty drinks (the “Big Mule,” a 192-ounce Moscow mule served in a pumpkin-sized copper mug) contribute to an intentionally manufactured, immersive atmosphere that some patrons find thrilling and others find unsettlingly simulated." - Justine Jones

We had a great time at Smash Park! First time here and so glad we came. Let me say that Olivia was our server and she was fantastic!! You're lucky to have her. The atmosphere was fun and exciting. We played duckpin (bowling) and Axe throwing. Both were soooo much fun and really reasonable priced to play! I did feel the food lacked a bit. I ordered a socialbowl drink and was told there were shots of alcohol. I don't believe that for a second! I hardly tasted anything - but the drink was still tasty. We ordered the BBQ platter. The meats were smoked well, had lots of flavors. The dirty beans were so delicious!! But the coleslaw failed - absolutely zero flavor. And we only received one corn muffin and the menu says tou get 2. I had the Al Pastor tacos. The tortillas were hard and dry, and the meat was cold. The salsa, creme, the pineapple and the onions with cilantro were all tasty. It was also served with tortilla chips which were fresh and crisp so this meal was a 50/50.... I definitely recommend and I will be back to try more options and have fun! I didn't get a chance to play corn hole!!!

Great staff and delicious food. Lots of great offers through social media and their app. I went back to play some games, and the guy supervising axe throwing was great. He gave us plenty of tips and advice without being overbearing.

Spent an enjoyable 2 hours as a party of 4 doing the ax throw. Would recommend as it was a lot of fun. Also recommend signing up well in advance as all the lanes were in use. Large well stocked bar in the main area and a smaller bar back in the ax and bowling area. Staff was friendly and passed on tips for ax throwing. Bowling seems geared to the youngest crowd but could be enjoyed by all ages. On an early Saturday evening there was certainly a decent crowd in the main area. Plenty of sports on multiple TVs if sitting is your thing while the rest enjoy the activities or the arcade. Definitely worth a visit regardless of the crowd you bring along. Something for everyone and the food and drink will cover most tastes.

We had the best time celebrating our family’s weekly Sunday meal while watching the Vikes game !! It was so fun and relaxing to be able to move from the lounge section we had which could seat 5 of us super comfortably like at home on the couch:) the best part was the service!! Lexi’e our server had outstanding energy and great recommendations. She was on the ball and made us smile even when the Vikes were down, lol! We hung out 2 1/2 hours drank NA had shareable platters and desert. The management staff even checked makes rounds to check on guests! We will bring our bigger family back very soon, for another Sunday dinner.

Smash Park is such a fun place to get some good food, drinks, and have some fun. It really is catered to any age range. I went with a group of 30 something year old guys, and we had a blast. We got a bunch of appetizers and drinks, then threw axes. The axe setup is great. They have a bunch of different styles of games to play.

Went to see GB Leighton on the patio. Great show! The weather was awesome. Ordered the carnitas sharable tacos and they were very good. Fun place with a little something for everyone.

Google
They made us feel so welcome the minute we walked in. Kaylee and Sam were amazing servers! We had a blast axe throwing and just spending time together outside of work in a very comfortable atmosphere. The cabana area is very open and a great place to rent so everybody can move around and talk with everyone. You weren’t stuck at a table like other restaurants. Would highly recommend to any corporation to go to Smash Park for any work party!

We booked a team for a post-game meal and it couldn't have been more perfect. The events team accommodated our every request (regardless of how outlandish) and made sure we had everything they needed. The team spread out throughout the property and loved playing pickleball, bean bags, ping pong, and foosball while the parents enjoyed dinner and drinks at the bar. We'll be back!

Yelp
I came in once and played some pickleball and eat a tasty snack; I'd do the same again or maybe come for other activities. There are lots of things for groups to do here. In addition to pickleball, they have "duckpin bowling" which is, you could maybe say, to traditional bowling as pickleball is to tennis? Also they have axe throwing, darts with tech enhancements, cornhole, shuffleboard, ping pong, an arcade, some other stuff like that. They have a bunch of indoor pickleball courts and two outdoor courts. They have multiple bar areas where you can get food and drinks, and there are trivia events. Also there is a whole rentable party room with karaoke. They seem to be ready to handle large group events such as office team events, and it is potentially a very fun idea for something like that. The only food I had was an acai bowl with bananas, strawberries, cashew butter, and granola. It was good! I'll try more food here next time. I like it here just fine!

Yelp
I have to give this place a shout out. After going here a few times, it's about time I leave a review. First off, the menu is out of this world. Go here, order something. And I promise you, you will be happy you did! My personal favorite is their Dynamite Fried Chicken! First off - the chicken patty is MASSIVE. This is so filling my boyfriend and I will share this and get an appetizer to share as well. I highly recommend trying ANYTHING from this place! The spice is mouthwatering! It's so good and I can not get enough! I always get extra on the side! Wings are out of the world! Large sized with excellent flavor. I love going upstairs for their entertainment! When they have karaoke- go. Even if you don't enjoy singing - go watch. There's a wide variety of music and genres, different styles and there are truly all ages here! It's so fun to see the older couples dancing and enjoying the music as well as the young ones coming in celebrating their 21st birthday. Seriously, the vibe is fun, the host is entertaining and so kind, staff is quick and always polite! It really feels like a second home here! I highly recommend!

Yelp
Let's start with the parking situation. Every time I've come here on a weekend night, it's been an absolute nightmare. But to my surprise, this time they had a free valet service available! We didn't end up using it since we lucked out and found a spot right away, but props to Smash Park for making improvements in that area. When you first walk in, you're immediately hit with a pretty unpleasant, musty smell -- I'm guessing it's a mix of body odor from the pickleball courts and food from the kitchen. Not the greatest first impression, but once you get past that, the place itself is really nice. We played pickleball for about an hour and then headed upstairs for dinner. The food was decent, and the service was solid. Overall, we had a good time and will definitely keep this spot in our regular rotation.

Yelp
Smashpark is our favorite Sunday morning place to be! Not only do they offer lots of great activities (pickleball, duckpin bowling and axe throwing to name a few) but on Sundays from 10 to 12 they have free to play Spingo (bingo) for all ages. The prizes are usually game cards or a free brunch drink. They have fun themes throughout the year and they have $3 mimosas. The arcade is also half price on Sundays and it's always a great time! I highly recommend the French toast! Pro tip: download their app as they usually send out a monthly coupon and some great birthday freebies!

Yelp
Came here for an event but didn't eat... Only for a cocktail. Service was good when I sat at the bar. The space was very interesting and not what I was expecting. Loved the art on the walls. I will be back to check it out again.

Yelp
If you're in the Minneapolis metro area, you have to check out this adult-friendly arcade! This spot is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and have a great time. They have everything from bowling and arcade basketball to axe throwing, a full arcade, and even pickleball. It's got the lively feel of a bar with delicious food and tons of games to help you take the edge off. The food here was amazing, but the real highlight was the service. If you go, ask for Cia--she was our server, and she was incredibly attentive, helpful, and truly enhanced our experience. Whether you're planning a first date or just want to enjoy some competitive fun with your partner, this place is a must-visit. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Yelp
Smash Park is a cool concept. The first time I went was just to kind of past time before reservations nearby. We opted to just stop and grab drinks. It was a Saturday during the day. Wasn't too busy at the time. We were able to sit right at the bar. The bartender was nice and attentive. Drinks were good. My mom and sister shared a fishbowl and I don't remember the name of my drink. We did look around a bit to see what else they offered and having visited since they have a lot. The duckpin bowling looked fun, darts, patios, pickleball, corn hole, arcade, karaoke, event spaces and more. For sure a fun place to hang out.

Yelp
We went here for lunch today. We have an appointment in the area and thought let's try it for lunch. Before we had lunch we played a little in the arcade. We played skeet ball, ping pong into cups and a game of air hockey. It was fun. No one was in there so we had the place to ourselves. After playing the games we had lunch. I ordered the dynamite chicken sandwich with no dynamite sauce and fries. It was good. My husband got the Cuban sandwich with the house chips. He said the sandwich was good as well as the chips. I did try the chips and they were very good. We had a nice time. Service was great thank you.

Yelp
I am very excited about this space. We went for brunch when they had free pingo where the prizes were gift certificates, arcade cards and little toys. They have screens showing the called numbers and tons of other screens with sports playing. When we were there the indoor pickleball courts were pretty busy, but it's in a separate area so the eating space isn't loud. There are so many options for families for things to do. They have an arcade which is small, but has a variety of games. They have indoor corn hole boards set up. The food was kid friendly and casual. Staff was welcoming and the service was attentive. They also have amazing brunch specials for drinks. We had breakfast, a few drinks and played bingo for 2 hours for just about $50. We are totally coming back with friends and family. We are also looking forward to the large outdoor patio area this summer.

Yelp
We had a great lunch here today at Smash Park. Before we had lunch we went to the arcade. We were the only people there how great! We played skeet ball, air hockey and ping pong cup game. It was fun. We then had lunch. I got the cuban sandwich with house made chips and my wife got the chicken sandwich with fries. Both were good sandwiches. They had a lunch special on their sandwiches $3.00 off which was nice. We had a nice time. The service was great. There were lots of people playing pickle ball. Thanks

Yelp
We came yesterday for an hour of pickleball and then followed it up with darts. We didn't stay for the full hour of darts, but both were a blast! I have actually never played pickleball, much less indoor pickleball, but the atmosphere was really fun and even as a true beginner it was a blast. We didn't try any food or drinks this time, but will definitely be back to do that next time! I also want to try their karaoke room and sit out on the outdoor patio or rooftop! It's a cool place with lots to do and something for everyone. The staff was super friendly as well

Yelp
I went to SmashPark for my birthday party and had such a great time! I had a group of 20 people and we reserved 2 courts for Pickleball to start off the day. I had contacted SmashPark to see if these courts could be next to each other and they were able to accommodate which was awesome! After playing pickle ball, we all ordered drinks and some food and then hungout on their outside patio. It was a great space for this event and I would definitely recommend for birthday parties or any other special events!

Yelp
This place is amazing and very interactive. The amount of things to do is incredible. With a game room and pickleball and corn hole . The food was very good. The street corn was incredible and something I would go back for. We had appetizers as they are half price before 6pm. The pickleballs very very good sale with the bang bang shrimp. 100% a work or family day out.

Yelp
I attended an event here put on by Hayloft from Hastings, GOAT YOGA! We were out on the pickleball courts outside and it was so much fun! The yoga was more upbeat than your traditional yoga class, which matched the excitement of having goats walk and jump around you. Included was a drink ticket and we got to pick a breakfast cocktail. I had the espresso martini and it was delicious! Perfect after a morning of goat yoga and a great use of the outdoor fenced in courts! I've also been here before to play duckpin bowling, party darts, and indoor pickleball. I really enjoyed the array of games they have. Great place for a rainy day or winter indoor activities, or a drink on the patio in the summer! Fun place!

Yelp
The amount of things to do here is unreal!! I came with a group of 5-8 on a Saturday night and we started with drinks and food. Personally I would pass on getting dinner here, drinks were fine just a bit expensive. If you get an appetizer get the buffalo chicken dip and garlic fries, they were AMAZING. We then moved to the area upstairs that's 21+ and played darts for an hour($25) went back downstairs and played outdoor pickleball for about an hour and then ended the night with giant jenga and giant connect 4 which were free. They also had shuffleboard, table tennis, foosball, cornhole (indoors and outdoors) all for free! We were here for 5 hours easily. Will definitely bring people visiting from out of state here as a staple.

Yelp
Smash park is what I imagine to be the equivalent of a Dave & Buster's but in Roseville. It's a new facility and it shows. Everything is squeaky clean, nice and new. Sunday bingo brought us here and a few tips if bingo is your thing. Arrive before 10am and get settled, place your food/drink order. Bingo is brisk and instructions aren't clear. It's about 15 minutes of confusion but once you get the rhythm of how the bingo caller does things, it's quite fun and easy to win. Service needs improvement. A drink was spilled on one of our friends and there was no offer to comp the drink or her food. Bad gesture. Server forgot the biscuit ball for 2 of our brunch entrees. I'm willing to give them a pass bc it's still newish but if smash park wants to bring people in to play and eat, address the quality of service. The space itself is expansive and ready to host large groups. I can foresee this becoming a great gathering spot given its ample room upstairs and downstairs. Hopefully service next time at brunch bingo is a better experience.

Yelp
Amazing location & people. The service is top-notch. I took the pickleball basics class then returned to play. I'm working on getting on a league. I've also played at the arcade. Can't wait to try trivia and bingo. Seriously - this place is filled with fun for all ages and all levels! Easy to find, easy to park. Guaranteed you'll leave with a smile and fun memories.

Yelp
My husband and I always wanted to go here since we heard about its opening, but we never had the opportunity due to schedule. Tonight I made an effort to visit since they had a special cocktail made for nurses called "Code Blue." We sat at the bar. Our server, Kenny, was very helpful, and professional and checked on us often. We shared the smoked wings with jerk rub. The wings were flavorful. It was not spicy, which is perfect for me. We also shared a smoked BBQ sampler, which was a giant plate of food! Luckily we decided to share and not get our own entrees. So for drinks, I had the Code Blue cocktail and Pepsi. My husband ordered a glass of bourbon and a strawberry lemonade smash. We didn't know, but there was trivia offered on Mondays at 7pm that allowed players to answer questions on their phones. Surprisingly, we won second place! I wish we were able to check out the duckpin bowling and axe throwing, but the area was closed off due to a private event. Overall, the place looks cool. We had a great time despite not doing much and had delicious food. We would definitely be back with friends and family. could

Yelp
Came here Sunday morning for Bingo which was a perfect day as it was a rainy one. Everyone had a great time. The gal running bingo was nice, friendly, and funny. She did a nice job keeping the crowd engaged. She would also ask for suggestions on what type of bingo game we wanted to play. We enjoyed drinks and brunch. The Bloody Mary was good. i heard the espresso martini was fantastic. I did not have any food, but the others I was with did and said everything was very good. Lots of different options offered on the brunch and lunch menu. Our waitress was nice. Unfortunately, she was the only one upstairs working all the tables, so we waited a little while for assistance, but she did a nice job. Place has lots to offer: arcade games, darts, pickleball, karaoke, yard games, and much more. There are also lots of events offered the bingo gal told us (she mentioned to check the website). I'd like to come back and try out the other offerings here. The atmosphere is very lively. I'd suggest be ready to have a good time. I imagine on the weekends this place gets busy so maybe take a look at the website for making reservations ahead of time.

Yelp
Such a fun place! They have everything you need to keep yourself entertained here. We came to play some pickleball (we reserved a court in advance because they get booked out) which went pretty smooth. We just checked in at the front and they told us what court we had. Prices for the pickleball are around $40/hr during peak time. It was nice and clean, I liked that it was separate from the rest of the place. Afterwards we had a couple small plates, during the week from 4-6 they are half off! We got the bao birds and the bang bang shrimp. Wow. I was so impressed. What we got was pretty top notch! I would come back for these alone. Flavors were awesome. Overall super impressed, lots of fun activities here and great food. Looking forward to having a place like these around!

Yelp
Went to company event, they booked the axe room and bowling area. We were greeted at the door and gal lead us back to the party. We had our own bar and bartender, who is my friend. Cool place for adults, pickle ball court on the other side of the building and arcade room near the front. Huge bar and seating area in the middle. They have an adults only event after 10pm. Kids are welcome during the daytime.

Yelp
It's a nice place, and we had a decent time, but they still need to wotk out some kinks. Before I get to the kinks, it's a large space with food, drinks, and several activities. There's even a patio area and a second level designated for 21+. Didn't try the food, only enjoyed a beer while playing darts, which was $25 for 1hr. Sadly, we only got about 45-50 minutes of play, which was attributed to the kinks. The Kinks (IMO) 1) Needs clear signage in the lobby - Upon entering, there's a counter straight ahead where we and others waited. However, the guy helping the pair in front of us eventually walked away and never returned. If we were in the wrong line, he could have told us. Nonetheless, once I turned around, I noticed another counter hidden to right of the door, and that's where we (all) went to check-in. 2)Employees may need further direction on the process - We arrived at the second level to play darts. There was a board, but no darts. We asked the bartender for assistance, but she had no clue where the darts were. We were told they should be at the station (they weren't) and told they may be at check-in. Thankfully, before making the trek back down, I noticed a blue pouch by the register, which was similar to the one another group had. Those were the darts. That said, while this experience was only okay, I'm optimistic that once they settle in and work through the hiccups it'll provide a better time.

Yelp
To be honest, I'm usually skeptical of places like this. They just aren't my thing. But, I can say, Smash Park truly does have something for everyone. We went on a Friday night to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. We didn't reserve anything and there were 12 of us, so I thought there was no way we could make this work. Wrong. Not only is there a ton of space inside, there is a huge outdoor area (with bathrooms you don't have to go all the way inside for!) that was available even with several portions of it closed off for private parties. We claimed one of the outdoor bench areas equipped with heaters (heck yeah!). There were plenty of drink options, including mocktails. The food menu was also reasonably sized and I was happy to see plenty of gluten friendly options, since that is often not the case. My husband and I enjoyed our big ass nachos (which I can confirm are BIG). While almost all of the reservables were booked, we were able to play a lot of cornhole which was nice. We ended up staying for several hours. I'm sure we will be back and make sure we reserve some stuff next time!

Yelp
I was excited to finally try this place out tonight. I stopped in on their grand opening a couple of weeks ago to get familiar with what they had to offer and how reservations work. Basically, you gotta pay to play, and reservations are best during peak hours. Reservations are easy on their app. Plus, signing up for their rewards gives you free $$ to use towards the reservation fees. Reservations are per person, not per event. So if you have a party of 6 for ax throwing, it'll cost $30 per person for a total of $180. You can choose the length of the reservations for up to 3 hours. Reserved activities include pickleball (you can bring your equipment or rent it. Don't think they have "locker rooms" to change/ shower in, though), ax throwing, duckpin bowling, darts, and karaoke. Cornhole is FCFS. There are cabanas overlooking the cornhole area. Also, multiple tables in/ around the bar area had giant connect 4 boards. Something to do while sitting and eating/ watching others or the giant TVs. There's a 2nd floor that is 21+. That is where you'll find the darts and karaoke room. For karaoke, it's a special suite with lounge couches and at least 2 giant TVs with a door to shut for privacy. No one outside the room can hear you sing. But it's $50/ hour to book. So tonight, I had great service with checking into our reservation at the front desk. And then found our Ax throwing guide in that activity area. There are lots of tables behind the throwing lanes for food, drinks, storing winter coats, and such. These tables are to be designated for the players. Once at a table, the Ax throwing guide had us fill out a waiver. Then he did a tutorial on how to throw/aim the ax at the wall and reviewed safe handling of the ax. Each lane has a projector on the wall, so you can play different games besides bulls-eye. Search through your lane computer for all gaming options, 10 throws per game. The 2 of us during an hour played 6 games. The ax throwing area had its own server. She was attentive with orders, drink refills, getting to go boxes, and the check paid quickly when we were ready to leave. Drinks: espresso martini. It tasted good but only had 3 swallows in the glass. Give me the shaker for a refill. Friend: Smash Park Moscow Mule. She liked it. Much bigger ounce size than mine. Food: Bang Bang Shrimp. Yummy! Big pieces that I thought they were chicken nuggets. And garlic fries. It was also tasty but got old towards the end. Garlic Truffle aioli was amazing. Friend: Poutine and Pickleballs. I tried the Poutine. The braised pork was delicious. Didn't try the pickleball appetizer, but by the time my friend ate it (we were throwing ax's), it was no longer hot, and the cheese recongealed. So eat immediately. It was a fast-paced, energetic night. I'm sure we'll be back to try out something else. Duck bowling, perhaps! Thank you for choosing Roseville for this establishment! It's a great location in a new redevelopment area that's thriving.

Yelp
Stopped in for some trivia on a Wednesday night. Showed up prior to get some dinner. We tried the chicken sandwich and burger. The sandwiches themselves were pretty tasty. Good flavor and fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, the food wasn't hot and the fries were nearly cold. I'd get the chicken sandwich over the burger if I'm ever back for games.

Yelp
Smash Park was fun! I went Monday for happy hour and then Bachelor Spingo. They have great happy hour deals including half price appetizers and half price fish bowls. Our server was new but talked to the kitchen to ensure they used the gluten free fryer for the French fries and tortilla chips. I got a smashed by the ocean sociabowl with Tito's vodka and no sour since they weren't sure if it was gluten free. For appetizers we got the Garlic fries, buffalo chicken dip, and sheet ton nachos. They were all really good and I'd eat them again! There's a lot for easy parking and the staff were all very friendly. Bachelor spingo was located up stairs and a fun way and place to watch the show!

Yelp
Was not able to play pickleball because there was no availability but the courts looked nice. It was nice to have both indoor and outdoor options. We were able to play a round of bags which was fun. Seems like it would be a great spot for a group, date night, or even to bring the kids. The food wasn't anything amazing, especially for the price. Our server just stopped showing up to our table so that was unfortunate. Like other reviews, seems this place has lots of potential just needs to get the management of the facilities more in order. I would try it out again.

Yelp
Went last night for a group event that was canceled due to weather forecast. I met a friend anyway. Told of the cancellation at the front desk, I asked if we could reserve the cancelled axe throwing or bowling. She didn't know and told me to go to the website or app. (WOW-thanks for your help). Found my friend in the bar with tasty nachos. Asked the server what they had that's hazy or hoppy. Young server started looking through his device and mentioned one beer that wasn't an IPA. I couldn't see all the taps and asked for a beer menu. He pointed to a QR code where I could find it. SMH. The bartender came back and I went to the bar and he gave me two valid choices. I wasn't ready for a refill when my friend was. I asked server to bring me another when he noticed I'm empty, and he did. (No name tag). We did look at website and saw axe throwing slots available. Front desk's white board said 7 pm. Website said 6. I pointed that out and she said 6:15. Payment screen had tip option. I declined. The axe employee switched us to a different lane that would open up sooner. He also gave us tips and let us try a lighter axe that was better for us. We went back to the bar for one last drink. I said I didn't think we were the the target market, and bartender said he didn't know what the target market is. Overall, employees should not deflect customers to go online when their role is serve customers.

Yelp
We stopped in for a weekend of fun at Smash Park. We quickly learned that if you want to take full advantage of the location you have to make reservations days in advance. All the things we wanted to do were booked. We did take advantage of the free $15 promotional arcade card when signing up for an account on their app. We used that to play some games in the arcade. We also played a bit of bean bag toss. That's all we were able to access as everything else was full.

Yelp
Smash park has everything from pickleball to axe throwing to party darts. The courts for pickleball are $24-30 Mondays thru Thursdays, $24-40 Fridays and $40 all day Saturdays and Sundays. Compared to other pickleball locations, smash park is on the pricier end, but the courts are very nice. They've got a wide selection of appetizers and drinks. On weekends it can get quite busy, so reservations are always recommended. Overall rating 8/10

Yelp
Went to the Smash Park in Roseville for happy hour and Bachelor Spingo. They have a great happy hour including half price appetizers! I had a smashed by the ocean sociabowl that was great. We also had the garlic fries, buffalo chicken dip, and the 'sheet ton' of nachos. The garlic fries and nachos were great, I would not recommend the buffalo chicken dip. Highly recommend their Bachelor Spingo, super fun to watch with a live crowd!

Yelp
If you're looking for a place where you can play pickleball, bowling, axe throwing, karaoke, and a number of other activities with all your friends. Come here! It's a new spot in Roseville and it's such a fun spot! Especially if you have a large group of people! If you want to do pickleball, you will have to call and make a reservation! It's big enough for you and your friends!

Yelp
Really excited about the potential for this spot and I was not disappointed. Stopped by for lunch and drinks with a buddy. Got the Bao Birds and my buddy got the fried chicken sandwich. We both enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is light and fun! So much do to for all ages. A lot of screens for watching sports and of course there's pickleball! I actually ended up returning later that day to watch UFC upstairs! Showing PPV UFC is a huge win for this spot.

Yelp
We went on a Monday afternoon for axe throwing. The place is amazing, there is so much to do! We didn't realize they also served food and had a full bar! The guy who helped us with axe throwing was great! He helped us with tips and coached us so we could be successful. We will be back! This place has so much to do both inside and out.

Yelp
Came here for a Saturday Morning yoga class upstairs that we saw through an Instagram ad, my group of 6 came and the yoga was incredible! For $10 we got a free brunch drink ticket, plus an hour vinyasa yoga class. The teacher and staff upstairs were great, and we felt nice and stretched after class. Unfortunately, after class we had some issues getting our drinks. It sounded like the bartender didn't understand what was going on. We gave her our drink tickets and she kept saying we needed to get an app/rewards account, but we had been told we just needed to present the tickets. Finally she just let us order. Then, when we looked at drink menus and were about to order when she corrected us and brought us BRUNCH drink menus, which was fine but it was confusing that we didn't get them in the first place. Half of our group wasn't drinking that day, and when we signed up we were told we could get a mocktail instead of a cocktail. There were no mocktails on the brunch menu, so we tried ordering one off of the regular menu and we were told no. Then we asked if we could make the cocktails on the brunch menu mocktails and we were told no (they would've just basically been juice anyways...). Finally after going back and forth for about 5ish minutes, we asked to just get fountain drinks and the bartender was fine with it. However, we had 2 members of the group that ordered bloody marys. They sat at the bar for at least 10-15minutes right in front of the bartender waiting, when she proceeded to make everyone else's drink first. When they finally got theirs, they didn't have any alcohol in them. I hope they get this worked out because I really enjoyed the yoga and would want to come back to try out the facilities, but this definitely but a damper on our morning.

Yelp
Recently visited Smash Park Roseville for the first time and it's a really fun spot to go with friends! We played in an indoor pickleball tournament. It was $15 a person with a drink ticket included in the price. The place is huge and has plenty of activities and space both indoor and outdoor. We ordered the frito pie from the menu to share and found it arrived not as warm as we would've liked, but that could have done with us sitting in the pickleball courts area instead of at an actual table in the restaurant area. There is also plenty of parking which is a plus. I will definitely be going back in the warmer months to check out the outdoor activities.

Yelp
Fun. Either watch or participate. Walk in and on your left is a small arcade. In front of you is the open seating and large bar. To the left of that are 4 courts for pickle ball. Moving forward more is corn hole, and to the right are 3 or 4 axe throwing lanes. Just a bit more to the right, are those mini bowling lanes (4) with the pins on the strings, with a couple half circle booths to sit in. Upstairs is 21+ with darts and seating and a DJ area and bar. Food decent, from the various things we tried. Pickle ball plate is a try it once but probably not order again for us. Salad pretty good. Nachos have that white sauce cheese (the kids didn't like that too much). French fries decent. Overall, worth a visit. Pepsi products

Yelp
Went here on Valentine's Day for a fun date night. The place is cool and has a lot to offer as far as games and areas to socialize. The flow of the building is a little confusing, you really had to walk all around to figure out where things were. It was also a bit disappointing that so many of the good activities required reservations ex. pickleball, bowling, and axe throwing. Things were 'reserved' but there were also several open courts and lanes that weren't being used so it was a bit frustrating. We made the most of it and ended up playing a few round of cornhole. Staff were friendly and our service was good. I wasn't too impressed with the menu, but it was adequate. Overall, a fun place to check out if you want to play some games, just plan ahead or be prepared to wait.

Yelp
This was simply the best place to celebrate my husband's 54th birthday with the entire family. Good food, arcade games, corn hole, axe throwing, and a bar. The arcade is smaller with only one entrance so it was nice to not have to keep the 3 year old at arms reach.

Yelp
Vibes were great and there was so much to do! Our bartender, Kenny, was amazing and super friendly! Felt very welcomed! Ordered the Mac & Cheese bowl and the portion was good. There was just too much bone but other than that, the Mac & Cheese was good. If you would like to throw axe, bowl or karaoke, it is recommended that you reserve online first. Otherwise no guarantee. But overall very friendly staff! Would definitely come back!

Yelp
The food was great! Especially the meat sampler. The fries are on point with the crisp. Though the arcade area is small, the food is great. I'm sure there are more activities in the summer, since we went in the winter. I will go back in the summer to check out the activities.

Yelp
It's a fun place but service was a little slow. Food was good though and there's plenty of fun things to do!

Yelp
First impressions are rough - I realize it's a new establishment and there are usually kinks that need to be worked through but I would expect customer service to be top notch the goal is to impress people and get them coming back. Upon arrival the young lady working the front desk was on the phone so I patiently waited (seeing it's my first time there and I don't know where the karaoke room is) she didn't acknowledge me when getting off the phone but was still on the computer so I waited then another customer walked in front of me which she acknowledged them. Then I told her we had reservations and she sent us upstairs and that "we would see signs" upstairs was dead chairs up and a woman behind the bar, I had to walk up to her to get her attention she walked me to the karaoke room and I realized after she had left we needed an access code, we had to get the young lady at the front desk she set us up and I asked how we get drinks and such and she said just go to the bar and I said no one is there, she then said we had to go downstairs. So odd. I would assume we would have someone attending to us and giving us an explanation on what to do and just an overall welcome to smash park spiel. Yikes. We had a blast singing but I wouldn't make this my regular hang out.

Yelp
Great food and service! We really enjoyed everything we ordered. I recommend checking out this new spot in Roseville to watch a big game or play Pickleball, Bags, Axe Throwing and more!!!
