Smashburger

Arrived and placed order 3 meals at 10:18 p.m., 2 of them arrived at the table around 10:26 p.m.currently still waiting on my meal and time is 10:51 p.m., the other guests have already finished their meals and I'm still waiting on mine, not a good experience for our first visit. ( Update never received food asked for money back at 11:09 p.m. and received full refund small redemption upon staff. Maybe better luck at another location. )

I love eating here when I come to Choctaw—the burgers are always fresh, hot, and flavorful. I typically dine-in and they’ve always been good about remembering the sauces we paid for. We placed a bigger to-go order this time, around $60 worth of food and we even tipped them. We were disappointed that they didn’t put ANY of the 4 sauces we paid extra for in there. They also forgot to give us our milkshake. It wasn’t as busy on a Monday late afternoon either. To charge extra for sauce is fine, but they should definitely be checking to make sure it’s in there. Also, about a week ago I dined in on a Sunday evening and the line was super long, and they only had one of the cash registers open taking orders which made the wait about 25 minutes just to order. Please consider having two registers open when it’s super busy.

Went to grab a quick bite before the Clint Black concert and was sure glad we stopped here. My burger was cooked to perfection! My brother-in- law ordered Cobb salad. It had a couple of twists to the normal Cobb salad but it was excellent!

Service is great!! Ordered tots, they were super crispy but came with rosemary salt (yuck), I ate some anyway. Before we left, i went to the counter to ask if they could be made without the rosemary. The lady at the counter even offered to make me some new ones without rosemary. I know what I'm ordering next time!!!

Whenever we're at the Choctaw Durant casino, we usually eat at smashburger. The quality of food in the freshness of ingredients are always consistent. Sometimes there's a 10 or 15 minute wait to order, but the food usually comes out hot and fresh. Highly recommend the Colorado burger, and my wife insist the California Burger is almost perfect burger. You definitely can't go wrong with either. I've had many of their other burgers, they always come out piping hot and the buns are soft and flavorful. Five stars.

Great spot in the casino for a quick bite to eat. Burger was as expected. From the time we ordered to the time the food was brought out was about 8 minutes which is pretty good Wait times on lines can be long so catching it at the right time is key. I was a bit disappointed as they had nothing in the menu which was spicy (ie: jalapeños). Also ketchup container was near empty on the table. The table was clean but nobody is checking if condiments are ok.

2024- finally visited again. The food was good, but the fries were extremely oily and the flies around the restaurant were INSANE. There were way too many!! 2022- Ridiculously long wait time. All I ordered were fries. Took over 28 minutes just to get those!!

One word: grease! I have never had this place before snd will not be returning! The line was so long and only 1 cashier so I waited about 30 min just to order. There was so much grease on everything! The tots literally had grease seeping out of its container and most of the tots were smashed along with the container being 1/3 filled. Too expensive and the taste is not worth the price! I spent $22 on a burger and tots. I should have just went to a sit in restaurant or ordered room service.

Food is very very good. Service is good and the workers are very, very nice. The smash burgers were cooked perfectly.

Good smashed burger but salty :-(! I should've ordered it with no salt, but didn't realize how salty it would've been ! In the middle of an Indian reservation casino, Choctaw Indian reservation. Next to an arcade in movie theaters area, they place this burger place in a food court and a good location.

I visited this location between 1:30 PM and 2:02 PM on July 25th. I informed the cashier that I'm allergic to yellow cheese and specifically asked for pepper jack cheese on my hamburger.When my food was brought out, it had yellow cheese on it. I told the lady who brought the food, and she said they would change it. But when she came back, they had simply placed a slice of white cheese on top of the yellow cheese -- they didn't even remake the burger. This is completely unacceptable and dangerous, considering I clearly stated I have a food allergy.They called the manager, Dustin Hicks, who completely dismissed the situation and told me that I "should have told them," even though I did tell the cashier at the beginning. He didn't apologize or take any responsibility for what happened.This kind of carelessness can put someone's health at serious risk. Food allergies should be taken seriously -- especially when they're clearly communicated.

The manager was making odd faces at my toddler and then denied it when my child started crying and i looked back and he was still making the face! I'm truly in disbelief.

Ate lunch here as it seemed like the best options in the Choctaw Casino. It had the longest line which is usually a good thing. Order was taken quickly and food was prepared within a few minutes. The burger was good and no complaints. I personally thought the fries were not hot or fresh. They got cold before I could eat them and I am a fast eater. It was a good overall lunch but could have been better.

Guy taking orders was a complete idiot, didn't give any of us( 15 people) our cups and messed up our orders horribly, worst restaurant I've ever been to.

Long line approx 25 minutes. Hamburger had good taste but was not hot. kinda pricey for hamburger and fries.

It's located inside of Choctaw. The line was pretty long for dinner time but I didn't mind the wait. I was expecting more flavor in the burger though. I feel like I had to douse it in ketchup and mustard. I didn't think the double avocado bacon club would have a different bun that seemed more healthy lol. The brussel sprouts were good. I like the light crispy pieces. I do like how there are lots of options! I would've wanted to order the sweet potato fries. Maybe I would've liked just the classic but that'll be another time. Price per person was about $18. It's funny because you get a nice view of people playing slots.

There was a long line but it moved quickly. Got a double Smashburger and rosemary fries. The burger was delivered to our table piping hot. The patties had a nice sear which created an amazingly good flavor. We have had the same Smashburger at a different location and it was not as good because the patties were not seared well. The fries were good also. The employees were professional and were really hustling. Great experience. We will return.

Love this place, especially the burger with the brisket. I've always eaten at Dallas and OKC locations and was very excited when they added this to the casino.

Good Tasting Unique Burgers, There is a long wait in line always the burgers cooked to order so there is another long wait after ordering. On a busy day.

5-12-2022 - Located in the Choctaw casino foodcourt directly across from the bowling lanes. Definitely try to eat at off hours, or there will be a long line. During my short stay I went twice and there was only one cashier both times. Even though the wait to order is long the food didn't take too long to come out. The fries come in two sizes, regular and large. The regular size was a good amount. The large to go portion fries appeared to be same in size as the regular. When you dine in the food is brought to your table. If you order to go you get a pager and can pick up your food at the counter. The turkey burger was juicy and had good flavor. The sweet potato fries were crispy, delicious and not greasy. I order a side of ranch to enjoy with the fries. The second time we ordered to go and the food was consistent and just as satisfying the second time. For To go orders, burgers are wrapped in paper and served in a bag. Fountain and bottle drinks are available for purchase. You can definitely bring in your drink from the casino. Use your club rewards and points at the register to apply to your purchase. The staff was friendly helpful and the seating area was clean, I observed the tables being cleared and cleaned regularly. This is a great option in the food court.

Recently dined here for a quick meal and was blown away at how amazing the food was! The burgers were extremely fresh and hot, like they were just taken off the grill and brought straight to us. Honestly I think it was the hottest, most fresh burger I've had in a long time, maybe ever. The sweet potato fries were amazing and fresh as well. I've been to other locations and don't remember them being this amazing. Great spot for a quick meal in the hotel!

Good burgers and really good sides! Had the bacon avocado burger, sweet potato fries and Brussels sprouts. Fries and sprouts were delicious. Burger was good but small and dry. $9 is a bit stiff for a single patty, smaller burger without fries or chips. It's a casino, not an airport.. lol Burger 3 stars, sides 5 star. Wait was significant, 45 minutes. Staff was friendly. Dining room needed cleaning but the one employee was obviously slammed, delivering food and bussing tables.

Went here on a Friday night and this place is packed, but because they have only 1 cashier working it. I waited around 15 minutes to order the food which is not too bad. I ordered the avocado bacon sandwich, with the fries and peanut butter shake. It was $20 dollars which is pretty pricey. I got my food, but the burger was dry, shake was awesome, fries was good. I can not complain since I got my food comped for that. I enjoyed coming here.

The waiting line was quite long as it was the weekend, but it was well worth the wait. The food was great as always, we got the Single classic, double classic, double bacon, some fries and shakes. Although there was a slight hiccup being that since the machine malfunctioned, I didn't get my vanilla shake on time, but when I asked the cashiers about it, they went and promptly made my shake, and even gave us a free fountain drink as an apology. Great service and a classic burger restaurant experience. Ambiance was great too.

I went downstairs from the poker room to get a Red Bull and ended up at Smashburger. Everyone there was smashed except me. This was interesting because I was sober and ordering greasy food. If I'm going to be honest, it was for Yelp, but I don't leave Yelp reviews for the same reason as others. The burger was good for a greasy burger. Same goes for the fries. What else can I say? Oh yeah, the service was good except when the girl took my order. She said, "It will ask you if you want to leave a tip," and stared at the screen to see if I would leave a tip. I had never seen someone do this before and I said, "If you were serving me at the table, I would leave a tip." (I'm a generous tipper but not for just taking my order.) When she grabbed the receipt and went to hand it to me, she dropped it on the floor (seemingly on purpose). I picked it up. No problem.

Really really good salad. Great burgers. It's awesome. I go there all the time. I get a extra fried egg on the salad every time

Couldn't not stop at smash burger during our stay in Durant! After the movies, we headed straight to the food court around 3 PM. This place is always packed, but food comes out fast and hot! I ordered the Colorado Burger which is Angus Beef, topped with green chilies, melted aged cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a spicy chipotle bun. And my brother order the Single Bacon Burger smash that had applewood bacon inside! We also ordered a side of the smash fries that were tossed in olive oil and rosemary and garlic! Definitely a must when stopping by at the Choctaw casino.

Establishment is located inside the casino. The place is clean friendly and fun area to enjoy delicious food. The food is a little pricey for the location it seems to work.

Waited over 40 minutes for a friend's chicken sandwich, and we still had to get a refund. Decent food, but if you value your food, STAY AWAY.

Hands down the most bland burger I've ever had. No seasoning. No flavor. I just didn't feel like it was worth it. I would've only given it 1 star but the staff was nice so they earned the second star.

For a fast food place they have great salads. It was big and all the ingredients were fresh. The Cobb salad came with a fried egg and real bacon that seemed like it was made fresh. I was very impressed.

BEWARE!! While eating here, I bit into something hard that shattered one of my teeth. We informed the manager of what happened. She responded with "would you like for me to get you something else". She said there's nothing they can do about it. I sent an email and left a message with their corporate office requesting a call back. So far, they've ignored both.

Dinner with the kids one evening on a stay at the hotel. I didn't have high hopes initially. However, upon mentioning that I had never tried Smashburger to the lady taking my order, she exclaimed how great the burgers were. Pleasantly surprised, I allowed my hopes to raise. Turns out, Burger was mediocre but fries were tasty. I ordered the Oklahoma burger which sported fried pickles, Onion straws, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing. Side of smash fries. Fries were tossed in garlic, olive oil and rosemary. While a litte greasy, they were tasty. Burger was average. I prefer Whataburger over a Smashburger. My kids prefer Mooyah. Not bad if you want to avoid the bigger restaurants but not great either.

Second customer in line when they opened. 100% ordered a double smash burger. Same guy that took order brought out food. When I told him I ordered a double he said I ordered single. 100% wrong. Should be fired.

Forewarning - this is inside the Choctaw casino. My family stopped in for dinner while traveling and the burgers and fries hit the spot. I also ordered Brussels sprouts that were really good! They have a good gluten free bun option.

Delicious! Had the Oklahoma burger because I came in from TX. When in Rome! I wish it had a tad more ranch on the burger. But the fries and the service was great

Ate here twice and wasn't disappointed at all. Either you eat Classic Chicken burger or Baja Jalapeño they both are equally good. What is more tasty is their sides. I loved the smash fries and their Haystack onions. To top it off they are so busy yet so nice and courteous.

You're going to be waiting a while. At all the casino restaurants there is major long wait times. We waited an hour after the 30 minute line paying 40$ for two cheese burgers, small fry, and two melted milk shakes. Everything was pretty good minus the meaty shakes that they tried to keep in the freezer while the rest of the food cooked, but it was such a long wait that the staff cannot keep up. I've never seen staff take such a beating of constant customers, and still remain kind, and diligent. The cashier, and the woman putting together orders/delivering to the tables honestly were all stars, and deserve one heck of a raise. I'd have clocked out, and called it a day facing that massive line of customers for hours with no end in sight. Also while having hangry customers sitting at the tables watching them work. Props to the staff because they are troopers!

They get two stars only because he food is excellent! The service is hideous and I kept thinking when the new wore off it would get better but each time u come here it is as bad or worse! It just took me 45 minutes to wait in line to order and there were only a handful of people in front of me! Even with both registers running it takes forever and every cashier seems like it's their first day, I'm likely not coming back! This burger is good but I could drive to the metroplex to eat in the time it has taken just to order food! And I'm sitting at 15 minutes waiting for my order so far! The only reason this place is still in business is because it's in the casino! If it were anywhere else in town they'd have been out of business a long time ago!

I normally like smash burger, but this location was absolutely horrible.. the fries had so much Greece on it was still "glistening and Greece hot 5 minutes after it was delivered (look closely at my pic). The burger was also so overloaded with salt I couldn't stomach more than two bites, and the fries also had very little/almost no Rosemary on them. I get this place is in a casino .. and I get that it stays busy (b/c of its location). but OMG that food was nasty. just remember.. you were warned.

Smashburger is okay. We eat it from time to time when we come and never have an issue with bad service or bad food. The burgers are pretty small though, even for myself who doesn't like a ton of meat on my burger. The veggie fries are good too! Great alternative to French fries.

Tried this place for the first time last night. The food was a little on the pricey side, especially the onion haystacks. You get a tiny side order for $2.49, so save your money and go anywhere else for onion rings. It did taste good, though; I got the build your own grilled chicken sandwich with just tomato, onion, and barbecue sauce. Despite my simple order, they still forgot the barbecue sauce. The only reason for two stars instead of one is because the wait was short and the chicken was really well seasoned. However, I woke up with food poisoning, so maybe that's what I get for ordering chicken at a burger place? I'm not a red meat eater, but my husband is, so that was the main reason we went. Probably won't be going there again, but if I do, maybe I'll fork out the extra dollar for a black bean burger.

First time eating at Smash Burger. I ordered a bacon burger with fries. Was pretty good. Not the best burger I've had, but good enough to want me to come back again. Presentation on the burger was 5*.

They gave me regular burger but I ordered deluxe all while the pot head cook was laughing. Never go here.

I have been looking forward to going to smashburger for a very long time but every time my husband and I go to Choctaw the line is out the door so you would think it's an amazing place to eat...but it wasn't that great at all. The burger had very little flavor, my avocado on my avocado burger was rubbery and flavorless. The buffalo fries were tasty but that's about it. I could have made a better burger at my house and I will not be wasting my money on smashburger ever again.

I ordered the bacon avocado cheese burger which was delicious! I also ordered a shake at the recommendation of my friend. The shake was okay, I would much rather have a shake from Braums or McDonalds. Service was very fast.

The burgers here are good. The wait here is long. Simply put, the 30 minute wait, twice within the last couple weeks, is not worth it. The food does not offset the ridiculous wait.

This is the second time I had it and the second time I got food poisoning. I wasn't too sure the first time as I had other stuff to eat that day but the second time it was definitely the only thing I had to eat before I got violently ill feeling nauseous, cramping, and diarrhea for days. I am still feeling the affects thus why I'm up posting this review. The fries were good though but the sandwich I was not impressed. I will never go back again since they obviously has some contaminated meat!

It has the worst customer service , the manager was very rude and hateful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There's a lot of better burger place with better service. Since we're paying for it., it's not like it was free.

Fresh burgers made your way with tons of options. Great food, great location inside the District at the Choctaw Casino. The only downside is the long lines for service sometimes. Definitely worth the wait. There are vegetarian options available with friendly courteous staff for everybody.

This place is a nightmare. First of all the cashiers are overwhelmingly under trained in customer service as well and with the registers. We waited almost 40 min to get our burgers and fries so we had plenty of time to observe the cleaning habits of the employees. This includes witnessing the staff clean tables after customers had left by sweeping the mess away with her naked unwashed hand and wiping it on her pants, In fact we were in the Smashburger for 1 and 1/2 and I never saw anyone wipe down any tables or chairs with cleaner of any kind. As our food arrived at our table I look down to my horror to see a fly stuck to the cheese of my burger and one in the fry basket!! The kid that served the food just walked away... It then took almost an hour to get a refund for what they call food. Eat at your own risk

The best burger ever. Better then 5 guys and in and out. The staff was great as well. Specially Tasha Took new customers to SB. They all loved it as well. Best shakes too

Went here at 10:00pm on a Sunday night since I was staying at the hotel. Not particularly busy it seemed as there were three people in front of me in the line and about 10 people sitting down. The two people in front of me got up to the cashier and left immediately after. Strange, I thought, but once I got to the cashier I was informed their was a 30 minute wait for food. Since there was really wasn't another burger place in the casino I thought okay fine. Huge mistake. It was my first time trying a smash burger. I live in DFW and usually go to other places but thought I am here so why not. After 45 minutes and my dine in order still not received, I went to one of the servers. She looked at my order and said oh that woman behind you had the same order. I was like she ordered to go and I ordered dine in service. I don't recall you handing her a dine in tray with her to go order. I then asked, so you gave my order to someone else? I received and I'm sorry. The I'm sorry still did not negate the fact that it was 45 minutes since I ordered and I still had no food. The server proceeded to say well we should have it out soon. At this point, no one was working on my order since they obviously did not have a to go order of the exact same at this point. I had to ask for a manger to get a refund. The manager came out did a half apology and then refunded my money. However, she did not offer to do anything else. I was floored. I don't understand how their mistake was never rectified. I had to ask for a refund. Seems to me if they were customer focused, it would be the first thing they would "offer" ( I had to ask). On top of that, I left a resturant without a single food item. Mmmmm just a huge suggestion, if your in the business to serve food and a customer comes in to order food, then that's what they should receive. They should never leave empty handed after they made the choice to give you their business. It may still be a fairly new place and all the kinks aren't worked out. But, since it was my very first time at a Smash Burger it will certainly be my last. The whole experience left a really bad taste in my mouth and I didn't even have a single bite of food. I would give zero stars if I could.
