Google
I had a great experience at Smash burger thanks to Rafael he made sure to greet us as soon as we walked in i really appreciate the fact that he took the time to come and check up on us even after we received our food and overall great time and great food i recommend stopping by for a good bite and good time!

Jim C.

Google
While I generally am not a huge fan of smashed hamburgers, the Black Truffle one was delicious. It was juicy with good flavor from the truffle oil and mushroom. The strawberry shake was great with real ice cream. It was thick and flavorful. Service was fast and friendly. The only thing was delivery on the shake being slow. I had finished the burger by the time it arrived. The space is small and nice. They do have unsecured Wi-Fi for customers. The parking lot was fairly full but there were spaces available.

Google
Stopped by Smashburger and left with a full stomach and restored faith in humanity. Rafael was the MVP—courteous, helpful, and genuinely made the whole experience feel like a five-star dinner instead of a quick burger run. The food? Smashingly good (sorry, had to). Juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you need when you’re craving something that hits the spot fast. Great food, even better service. Rafael, you’re the real smash hit here. I’ll definitely be back—probably sooner than my diet would like.

Manuel T.

Google
Good smash burger. The Tater Tots are rosemary and garlic infused which I wasn't a fan of. This is in fact the first store location of Smashbuger where it all started.

Lenor S.

Google
I love it! We got nice service and tasty food!

MaCalia A.

Google
Wouldn’t order from Door dash or uber eats cause you’ll just get what they choose to give you. No one paid attention to my order and the smash tots will pooled in oil.

Shawn D.

Google
Gabby was very kind and made the first visit to Smash Burger a delight!! I would definitely recommend a visit. 5*

Lady was amazing and sweet. She gave us coupons to come back. Extremely great service

Yelp
Dirty floors, walls, tables & window coverings. Staff looks leaderless and unhappy to be here. Kitchen music is louder than house music. This place needs a reboot. I won't be back for a while of at all. AND you ask for a tip at time of order!? No thanks. Update....i returned my burger as it was undercooked/raw.

Jim S.

Yelp
We are 4 miles away, took 45 minutes for delivery. Food was stone cold and limp when it got to us. Tracking app showed driver at one location between us and the restaurant for 20+ minutes while our food was getting cold. Like the food but no way we are ordering delivery from the Mississippi Smashburger again.

Nate G.

Yelp
First up when I walked in it felt like as if I entered some sort of dream, the place was clean, organized and on top of all of that their was quiet relaxing music pl from their speakers, the employees were really nice, I ordered a double burger with fries and I got a Aciai Blueberry Pomegranate drink which was cold and refreshing, my only complaint was it had a slightly bitter aftertaste, when I sat down, the seats and tables were practically spotless. When I got my burger the flavors worked really well together and the burger didn't slip, showing the people who made it had a good idea of burger composition, my only real complaint is they didn't give us napkins.

Tyler C.

Yelp
Food is solid, customer service was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was inexcusably dirty. Was one of the first patrons to visit as they just opened and was hoping for a decent place to eat lunch. Every table was dirty, the floor was disgusting - not swept or mopped. Clearly they had a busy day the day before and in general are either understaffed or have lackluster management. Great option for DoorDash or picking up your order. Just don't dine in.

Yelp
Made a mistake coming here at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. It suddenly got crowded and the one person in the front didn't ask for help, so my food has been sitting under the warmer tor ten minutes. I stand corrected, that was not my food sitting. 3 people who came in after me got their food first. I finally spoke to the front person and followed him to the food counter. He presented my food and i asked for it to go as i needed to get back to work. He gave the food back to the cooks and went to serve others. My sandwich gets wrapped and sits on the counter. Guy cones back and i beg him to just put it all im a bag, i dont care about containers and im going to be late. He goes back into the kitchen then comes back and tells me they have to make new tator tots. Ate you kidding me?! All i ordered was an all american smashburger w jalapenos and plain tator tots. And i didn't even get the tots. Had to eat my butger while speeding back to work. A 30 min wait wasted.

Kailani P.

Yelp
10/10 experience! Rafael was super helpful and our food was fresh and well made- not your typical greasy burger!
google avatar

Joe T.

Yelp
I ordered two burgers (a single and a double), and fries to go. Both burgers were very good. Not at all greasy and very well seasoned. Mine came as I asked (no ketchup or mustard). The sign of an attentive restaurant is not screwing up the little details like that. Burgers are made to order, which is a nice change from a lot of the fast food places.
google avatar

Amariah M.

Yelp
My first visit was so nice. Second was very disappointing. My rosemary garlic wings were plain. I didn't find out until I got home. Loved my smashed tots until I got to the last few and found they were sitting in a puddle of oil.

Sandy P.

Yelp
11/21/23 ordered chicken wings. They were RAW! Raw! I also ordered grilled chicken sandwich, it looked pink to me. I did report it to store and crop office. Never heard from anyone.

Jeff V.

Yelp
Great food, good price, fast as lighting. Why go to McDonald's when you can get a Smash burger fo the same price? Don't. This location has a cook that understands cooking is an art, and you can taste the effort. Amazing job!

Kman W.

Yelp
good customer service and food with a nice atmosphere and music and they kept it clean

David L.

Yelp
The onion straws were all stuck together in like four onion tangles that were kinda burnt. It' was the only thing I ordered, too...
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
Colorado Burger! Period. Got to try it. It's not avail at all locations but when done right, such as at the Denver airport!, delicious.
google avatar

Kerry A.

Yelp
Great atmosphere on a beautiful day. Ordered the basic burger and fries with small changes to the condiments. No worries with ordering or the wait. These are how french fries should be prepared. Excellent! The burger was a great in itself. Near to many hotels and worth the walk to explore. Sitting on the patio was pure enjoyment. From the friendly staff to wonderful fare, this place rocks!

J Thomas H.

Yelp
Very poor service and the food is stone cold and not editable. I would give this restaurant a minus star if it were possible.

Julietta D.

Yelp
Just what you want a Smashburger to be: super simple & easy to order. Not too busy & the food was made to order with an updated menu.

Patti P.

Yelp
Celebrated my 70th Birthday with a friend at Smashburger. Delicious salad full of greens, cheese, avocado and added crispy chicken. My birthday reward was Chocolate Shake and made the day. Super clean and easy to order, brought to the table!
google avatar

Annalea J.

Yelp
Have eaten here twice. The first time was pickup. The staff was super friendly and the store itself was clean. The second time I used 3rd party delivery. I think that was the first time my order was correct and still hot from using the delivery app itself. Fantastic experiences both times. Whoever runs this location is doing it right!

Ben S.

Yelp
Everytime I eat there it gives me guttrot. It's way overpriced compared to In n out or Culvers, both much better burgers. Hard pass
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
It took the lady 13 minutes to make a chocolate shake. I watched her in awe.

Yelp
Every time I visit Denver I stop by (the one in Los Angeles is too far a hike and this one is a hop, skip, and a jump from my aunt's house). Best fast food (that doesn't taste like fast food to me) burger in town. Staff is nice, and the district manager (who I met my last time in Denver and got to talking to) was awesome. Even bought me my next lunch before I went back home. Only thing I wish they had (unless they do?) is sourdough bread like Freddy's, buttered to perfection on both sides. Yum!! But the place is clean. Food is always fresh and great. Plenty of parking. And just good quality. So stop on by! And I didn't used to really leave reviews, but I started realizing that reviews started affecting places I'd go eat (even though I've realized people are a little pickier than I am and a little harsher than I am in their reviews as well) and so I started wanting to make sure my experiences are recorded for others. So you can't go wrong with Smashburger, at least this location (though the location in Manhattan Beach, CA, somewhat close to where I live is also great). I even told the manager at the California location that I loved their burgers more than In n Out (though he didn't agree lol).

Yelp
Best to skip this place, it's usually filthy with no clean tables and the employees are always rude and lazy making you feel like you are disturbing them when you ask a simple question. The same cashier/manager gal always looks annoyed too when you walk in I always cringe seeing her face knowing it's going to be a bad experience.

Yelp
Say Hello To A Denver Original!! Smashburger was born and raised right here in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 2007 by Rick Schaden and private equity firm, Consumer Capital Partners, the company currently has more than three hundred corporate and franchise restaurants in thirty-two states and five countries. So what sets this fast casual burger restaurant chain apart from others? The food! It's always about the food!! Smashburger has quite the impressive menu, chock-full of Certified Angus Beef burgers, veggie burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, sides, and incredible hand-spun shakes and malts made with Häagan-Dazs ice cream. And there are a ton of toppings and customized options to make your meal the best meal it can be. I'd give Smashburger two thumbs up, but I need them for holding my burger and stuffing my face!!
google avatar

Marc S.

Yelp
Never again. Smash burgers in general are a terrible franchise, with completely random adherence to their specials and utilization of their app. I made a mistake today of trying to get a advertised special, only to find that their slack-jawed crew couldn't operate without their computers, yet their grill was apparently in good working order. I suppose it would've been too much for them to actually make a hamburger for me and then charge me after once their lousy Windows-based point-of-sale system came back up again. Don't go there,

Brian S.

Yelp
My order is always correct and always ready ahead of time. This is literally the only amazing fast food restaurant in all of Glendale!

David A.

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! From the moment we walked in, the cashier just glared at my wife and was really rude to her when she ordered. When I asked her to enter my number for my rewards she acted like she didn't know what that was. They had the heat turned off on a 30 degree evening, and the employees were all wearing winter coats. Even though they don't close until 10, at 8pm Sat night . they were dumping out the fresh teas so we couldn't even have any, were blocking off tables, and the person that was mopping just stopped and stood in the way when you asked to get by. The ONLY redeeming part of our experience was that the manager was polite, and the food was made correctly. I think the reason we were treated so poorly is that the front house staff was all Asian, and we are not.......so disappointing to feel discriminated against like this.
google avatar

Yelp
My buns were yellow like cornmeal. I was completely caught off guard by this unusual shade of burger bun. I got a mushroom burger then realized that mushroom is one of the ingredients, it still got a beef patty. Luckily I am not a vegetarian so I was able to eat the burger. Next time I will pay more attention to the small font on the menu. The flavor is ok, not the freshest burger I had but I didn't get sick. Still, I can't forget about the yellow buns...
google avatar

Yelp
Bummed y'all. I have been to this location before with no issues. Picked up a burger and kids meal from this location. The cashier did not give me a receipt and I paid in cash. If you are a rewards member don't worry about contacting them to adjust your rewards balance EVEN IF you have the bag tags (which include order number, etc.) because it will be unhelpful. Oh well...there are plenty of chains that help customers that show proof of purchase. Otherwise, this location is similar to others in taste and cleanliness. They do give an accurate quote for pickup. Just make sure to get your receipt at this location or your rewards will not be honored.

Yelp
What a SMASH! My food was perfect! Fined for a light meal for dinner my smashed chicken was flavorful and tasty. My fries were fresh and crispy. The line to wait for my order was waaaaaaay to long. The manager was to busy playing with staff instead of stepping up the plate on a non busy evening to give his employee a helping hand. Overall everything was perfect. The venue was clean, the service staff was friendly and the food was good.

Waterskitom P.

Yelp
Wanted to try this chain since they don't have them out east and was disappointed at every turn. Food was expensive and just a pile of grease. Fryer wasn't hot enough to seal the fry's and Brussels sprouts. Zombies working walked around piles of trash on counter tops, floors and over stuffed trash cans. I would of walked out but didn't take enough time to observe before I ordered. Avoid this place and eat anywhere else.
google avatar

Angel M.

Yelp
Not sure why I came here!! $10 for a small burger $3 for a side of sweet potato fries I think the drink is $4 (glad I didn't get it haha) But, why do they charge $2 extra for grilled chicken??? Beyond my understanding. Will remind myself to remove Smashburger from my vocabulary, done spending $13+ for a small burger.

L B.

Yelp
This place has went downhill in a major way. They changed management a little while back. Tonight was a bunch of people in there working that didn't care. The brussels sprouts were terrible! A first
google avatar

Yelp
I went to SmashBurger just after two o'clock and Tony the manager (franchise owner?) saw the corporate sponsored direct mail coupon in my hand. So instead of a smile and, "Welcome to SmashBurger," he shoved the flat of his hand to within inches of my face began shouting, "You can't use coupons! The burgers are already at sale prices!" The direct mailer listed this location as the sponsor of that coupon. I am an educated old woman, so I figured out that the burgers would not be honored in this poorly thought-out direct mail marketing campaign. There was a coupon for a free side and I wanted to try the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. But after he shoved his hand toward my face, all I could do was look at him with my "I may be old, but I can mess-up your little world" look. I ordered my "to-go" Triple Double, the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and my first Chameleon shake (the shake tasted weird). He told me to sit and wait. The place was seriously understaffed, a topic of conversation among those of us who were gathered at the dirty table to wait. Another topic of discussion was that it was apparent that the dining room had not been cleaned since the lunch rush. The order took about 20 minutes to fulfill as there was only one cook, one food runner, and rude Tony running the register, handling money and mixing shakes with no apparent hand washing in between. Overall, this location has become quite rundown over the past year. It will be long time before I go back, and it is just down the street and 'round the corner from my home. BTW - I reported his unfortunate experience via the survey on my receipt. Crickets from corporate.

Yelp
Fried Pickles, yummmmmm.... Or I'll break it down: Quality: Very good, in line with what you'd expect at any premium burger joint. The classic burger and the mushroom swiss burger are my favorites. Fried Pickles are my big favorite for a side. Prices: Lower end of most premium burger places, you can just about get out of here spending as much as you would at a McDonald's for the same meal (and get a lot better of a burger), quite nice :-) Service: Always friendly faces, no fuss... In short: Still will be coming back here.

Ashley U.

Yelp
Customer service is nonexistent. Atmosphere is mediocre and the food doesn't make up for it.

Austin B.

Yelp
They close at least a half hour early because employees are tired. Change your hours on the door and online if you're not going to be honest.
google avatar

Jerry S.

Yelp
If I could give Smashburger zero stars, or minus stars... I would! I got completely sick eating here and I contacted Smashburger Corporate Offices and have not heard a single reply from them. The food was completely greasy and dripping along with excess salt and food that was put together haphazardly... I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER EVER step into a Smashburger again! I left an email message to the corporate office informing them that I've got the receipt along with having really bad gastro distress. HEARD NOTHING BACK even though I both called and placed IMPORTANT in the subject header of the email. Any company that cannot address a problem of this magnitude within 24 hours doesn't deserve my business. Smashburger needs a complete overhaul of its business practices.
google avatar

Kat B.

Yelp
The truffle tots! The first time I ordered them, I ordered two. One for me and one for my husband. I accidentally started snacking while driving home. They were soooo good. Like, melt in your mouth good. I finished a whole side in the 5 minute drive. Then, I lied to my husband and told him the order got messed up and they only gave me one side... so we had to split the second one! Probably the worst lie I've ever told. He forgave me, in time. This Smashburger is favorite burger place! I know it's a chain, but it doesn't feel like it. The burgers and salads are always fresh and reasonably priced and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Spinach salad with chicken is my favorite and the kids love the triple doubles and Oreo shakes.
google avatar

Nasir M.

Yelp
I have a general rule of not reviewing chains but I feel obligated to spread the Smashburger gospel given how hard it is to find a good burger. To put it succinctly Smashburger offers the best burger money can buy. I know that is a very brazen statement to make but it is the truth so help me God. I got the Truffle Mushroom Swiss which blew me away. The meat was flavorful and the buns were nice and buttery. In addition they make their milk shakes using Haagen Dazs ice cream and not surprisingly they are amazing. The low point of the meal unfortunately was the fries which in all honesty McDonalds makes better. For my friends in the 408 fear not you don't need to make the trek all the way to Colorado to sample this deliciousness. I looked at Smashburgers website and apparently they have a few branches in the Sacramento area. Trust me it is worth the drive.
google avatar

Yelp
After driving by Smashburger approximately 3.7 billion times and every time saying that we should try it out, the ladyfriend and I dropped in with a couple of friends to try some burgers and see what the fuss was all about (really the only fuss was the fuss we generated about wanting to try it.) It's your standard fast-food joint setup, with booths and tables and the counter with a menu next to it on the wall. You order, they send the order to the kitchen, give you a number, and when your food is ready they bring it to your table. It feels like every chipotle/madgreens/noodles&co/bajaFresh/Qdoba you've ever been in, only with burgers. I ordered the Colorado Burger that had american and jack cheese, with roasted chili peppers, and I added some bacon. also had lettuce and mayo and all that good stuff. I found the burger to actually be really good. Well seasoned, cooked well, and the toppings and sauces (I think they put more than just mayo on there) gave it a little spice, and it was definitely satisfying. For a side I got the flash fried veggies -- asparagus and sweet potato fries. These things were incredibly disappointing. It's entirely possible that I don't understand the definition of flash frying, but they were basically dipped in grease to warm them up, and then put on my plate. They weren't crispy, there was no batter, nothing. I should have skipped them and gotten fries. The ladyfriend had a spicy baja burger which she said was appropriately spicy, but she had hoped it would be more flavorful than it was. She told me that she thinks it probably would have been more flavorful if she hadn't foregone the spicy mayo, but alas. Hindsight.... One of our friends got a rootbeer float with her meal, and this place almost deserves a full extra star just for the serving of rootbeer floats! All in all, service was pretty quick, very friendly, and moderately tasty. It's not gonna blow your socks off, and it's definitely more expensive than Wendy's or some place like that (but you are also not getting a fully processed meal...I think) but gets you a decent quality burger for a little less than a bar might, or some place that's famous for their burgers. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, but it's a fast food place. So you ought to know what you're going to get before you walk in the door. Solid three stars, and I won't hesitate to drop by when I'm craving a burger any time in the near future!
google avatar

Evan A.

Yelp
I can't believe that I haven't written a review for this place yet. I actually accidently came here (hung over) with a friend and absolutely LOVED the burgers. I wasn't familiar with the name or location before but everything tasted so good I had to try it a second time (not hung over) and guess what? I LOVED the burgers again. My first visit I was lame and created my own burger, which was clearly a smart choice (I'm very picky with condiments and toppings). But on my second visit I ventured to the Spicy Baja, which was amazing. I can't pin point what exactly tastes so good about the burgers, maybe the freshness or seasonings but I literally crave the juicy goodness here.

Yelp
09MAR2009 I bumped my rating up a star. I think the new Smash Fries (herb-covered potatoes cooked in olive oil) are terrific. Or "Great!" as Tony would say. We have always found the service to be super efficient and friendly which speaks well of management as motivating people in the QSR biz is hard work. 16OCT2008 I agree with Trish who wrote: "The veggie fries were asparagus, carrot strips and green beans tormented in a bath of lukewarm oil before being served limply." More evocative writing than I could create. The veggie fries are horrible. I have no idea what they were thinking when they created this disaster of a dish. On the other hand, the fried pototoes (Freedom Fries) range from OK to very good. Today's were hot and quite tasty. 30MAY2005 This is the #1 SmashBurger. We have been eating here on a regular (1 to 2 times a month) since opening week. We like the "build your own" concept. We like the quality of the meat. We like the juicy results of the cooking process. We think the fries are OK. Not bad, just not great. We don't like that you can not get a medium-rare burger. The e-coli police are here in full force.
google avatar

Tracie B.

Yelp
SmashBurger is on of my favorite guilty pleasures. This is a small chain that works very hard at getting things right. You get to build your own (1/3 or 1/2 pound burger) so you never have to have it the same way twice. I've tried the chicken sandwich and salads aren't as impressed with them. The burgers actually taste like good quality meat - versus the typical fast-food fare. Your custom burger is delivered hot with very fresh ingredients. SB recently added a new "Smash Fries" which are crispy fries tossed in olive oil, rosemary and garlic - yummy! I give SB four stars based on price/performance (compared to other fast-ish food places). My only complaints are that they won't cook your burger medium-rare and they only have one size drink cup.

Larry O.

Yelp
Been coming here once a week or more since moving to the neighborhood a couple years ago. Every staff member I've ever met here has been kind and helpful. My friend wants to give Karlos a shoutout for being awesome tonight, and the daytime manager lady is always super cool when I come in. Food is always fresh and delicious.

Jacquie T.

Yelp
the food is always good and the staff are always so attentive and nice. just a pleasure to go here.
google avatar

Joey D.

Yelp
Ordered a double smoked bbq brisket burger and a drink, burger came out promptly and fresh and hot, and tasted great was an awesome burger, only thing I'd knock points off for is dirty tables, even the one I sat at had crumbs on it, a simple spray and wipe would do other than that service and food were great
google avatar

TJ A.

Yelp
I came here for lunch one day and made it all the way back to my job and found out that the burger was missing hunks of meat. A corner was gone and their was a big hole in the middle that was covered with a couple of pickles. The burger was also super pink even though I specifically requested it well done. I did not have a good experience.
google avatar

Andrew W.

Yelp
Smash my burger! Make it a 1/2 pound Swiss Shroom burger with fries. That will do. Maybe some fried pickle slices. Yup. My burger was larger than the bun, it was messy, dripping, greasy goodness. That's the way a burger should be, five or six napkins to get through it. So good.
