Smash burger employee Dorothy was super rude. She was literally shouting at people while taking their orders. She took our order for dine in but gave food in to go packets. Additionally the smashpots were floating in oil. They do not have courtesy to take out oil. I had to throw most of it away. I’m only giving 2 stars for the burger.

Andrea was so personal and professional. Greeted with a smile and such an easy going personality. Awesome to have on staff. Also the cooks in back were all smiling and they all seem to work together as a team And also seem to get along with any hiccups. Would definitely be back Food was good as always. The smash tots is where it’s at. Nutter butter shake could use more flavor. But over all pleased and happy with everything. Again props to Staff and especially Andrea the cashier. I believe that’s how you spell her name.

Smashburger did not disappoint! Fast, friendly service, fresh cooked burgers and fries with excellent flavor annnd the quesa Fresca was the perfect finish! Daniel was so pleasant and ready to assist! We will definitely be back and refer friends! It’s fast food done right!!!!!

The food and service was amazing, loved the fact that it was quiet despite the casino atmosphere, which is how a restaurant should be. Tink took our order, we loved the fact that she communicated to us that the debit card machines were down prior to taking our order. Tink answered all our questions and was very helpful with our order. Definitely understand why it’s called SmashBurger because we “SMASHED” our burgers.

Double avocado 🥑 with bacon and egg burger was so good. Wife had the Grilled Chicken and loved hers. Wait was little long, but I love a hot meal, so worth it. Wish we had a Smash Burger in north Wisconsin. Def eat here again. Thank you for the professionalism displayed by the team at Rio Smash.

Shoutout to Amanda for being our host as first timers! It was Father's Day & we wanted to try something new. The burger was delicious! Wings crispy! Old school soda machine is my favorite. She brought the food to the table & checked on us it's appreciated! Must check it out!

Veteran's Day Appreciation Deal. First I want to thank Smashburger for giving a free burger and 25% Off for the rest of your items for Veteran's Day. I've only been to Smashburger one other time and it was a long time ago , like at least 5 years ago. It's priced like a Premium Hamburger restaurant and I wasn't that impressed with it the first time to come back. The cashier that helped me was nice enough , but not overly friendly. She did take care of me right away and my food did come out in a timely manner. The food itself again didn't impress me though. The burger was not very flavorful or thick like a premium burger you would expect. It wasn't very salted or seasoned either which I like a little seasoning , but not too much like In-n-Out which I ask them for my burger to be lightly salted because they just seem to pour it on there. I got the tater tots seasoned with garlic and olive oil and they had a little too much oil on them. Again I wasn't impressed at all with the taste. It's like their food is missing something. The dining area is kind of small , but clean. The prices for the food for the taste for me is reason enough for me not to come back to Smashburger. It just doesn't do it for me. I would have given a 2 Star if I would have paid full price for this. I do appreciate having the chance to try it again with this free burger deal , but I can't recommend anyone going to a Smashburger. Of course everyone has their own taste.

We had the classic smash and double bacon with smash tots, all was delicious! and it was pretty crowded..,the guy taking the order was a little cocky otherwise wouldve been 5 stars. but we'll probably eat there again before we check out, it was that good!

This Smashburger is at the Rio, at the far end of the Casino and upstairs. After a fun round of Putt Putt golf my daughter was hungry and wanted a burger and fires. We jumped on the escalator to go to Smashburger. As we got there, it was pretty empty with only a few patrons sitting and eating. This was about 2:30 in the afternoon. We walked in and immediately noticed the dirty floor and several dirty tables. We went up to order to go anyway so not a big deal. As we ordered, the lady taking our order was very short and acted like we were bothering her with questions. My wife and I were actually going to order something too but because of her attitude we just ordered for our daughter. The lady continued to be difficult for some some reason...but we just finished our order. While waiting for our order we went to get our daughter's drink. The drink station was absolutely disgusting.... So then when they called our name I asked for some condiments, the guy tells me "is this even your order"! I said yes it is do you need receipt? He said nah I just gotta check...but yet he didn't. They all had attitudes here. This is probably the worst Smashburger there is...total disrespect and disgusting area. Honestly, my daughter's burger and fries were really good! It was great food! But the people working here and the conditions are something I cannot overcome. Clean it up and get some respectful staff and you'll be good.

We ordered DoorDash from this place last night and I forgot to ask for a gluten-free bun. I called the location and asked if they would be able to substitute it for me. There was an extra cost and I offered to pay it over the phone, but the team member was so generous as he just said that he would go ahead and add it to the order! Thank you so much! The great customer service is really appreciated. The food was amazing!

The veggie burger is made with jackfruit?? We'll see ... The results are in - I did not care for the veggie patty. Jackfruit didn't taste fruity but it didn't taste like much of anything. Mushy patty, no texture. $9.99 My husband ordered the single smash burger $8.99 and regular fries $3.89. He said the burger was "crumbly", not sure if it was overcooked? The service was fine. This location has a very limited menu so check online before you come so you're not disappointed.

This restaurant is inside the Rio Hotel, way in the back near the parking garage. Since we were hangry and couldn't wait until the real restaurants opened for the evening, we decided to hit this little place. Most of the tables were empty and dirty (I bussed one so we could sit there.) I ordered the chicken smash burger and it was decent. Super messy, as you can see in the picture. The smash fries were oily and delicious. All in all, I would go back, but with lowered expectations. lol.

Went here on a busy Saturday and was happily greeted by Tink the manager working the register. She provided suggestions and it definitely said my craving. Also i thought it was awesome to see a manager leading by example

Dont want to get anyone in trouble but o was going to try smashburget but watching the people cooking raping over the food I decided not to try.

Poor service slow service and overpriced! Those 3 things can describe my experience. Seating is minimal. They have us blocked in here like sardines. The tables haven't been cleaned. I haven't even tried the food yet.

I wish I could review the food, but we couldn't eat there. We are here for the Star Trek Convention and have a tight schedule. We went up a few minutes before opening for breakfast. No sign of life except an employee sitting in the dark. When asked if they would open, he snapped at me "10 minutes" We waited and about 10:10, an employee ran in and also snapped "it's gonna be a while" and then "this is f÷×$ing bull%!^t. We don't even have a cashier". Poor form to swear in front of potential customers. Needless to say, we turned around and left. With very few breakfast options to choose from, we went to Boracho Burrito and had an excellent breakfast burrito from the fast serve window. Honestly don't think I'll ever go back to Smashburger.

Love this place. They run specials on major holidays when traffic is higher, and super friendly staff. They even have draft beer! Amazing,

Stopped by on 11/26/22 for the first time. Located inside the Rio Hotel. I ordered the following to go: - 1 classic single smash burger = $8.99 (small and not worth it) - 1 large smash fry = $4.79 (delicious) TOTAL WITH TAX: $14.93 This place is overpriced; I will still hungry after! Of note, me and my family stayed at the Rio Hotel during the Thanksgiving holiday. This place was closed during Thanksgiving. Located upstairs near Wetzel's Pretzel's and Chippendale.

This was one expensive azz burger and fries, but it was definitely worth every dollar. The fries and burger were seasoned perfectly and it was fresh and juicy. One of my better meals I had on this trip. Girls trip 2022

This place is an absolute disaster. There's a bunch of people standing around in the kitchen doing absolutely nothing, not knowing what to do. Obvious short of management. We ordered after waiting, and even being a first of a ton of people waiting behind us, it took 20min for food to come out and we were almost late for our show. On top of that they gave us someone else's order that we had to return and now this had to he disposed and when they had our correct food we got an attitude as it was our fault. The smash tots were swimming in oil. The chicken tenders are rather small. Long wait and very disappointing, avoid!

Disclaimer, I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and I HATE giving bad reviews. We were staying at the Rio and decided to have dinner at smash burgers. Let me give the short story. Food was either not seasoned at all or overly salty and overly priced. Now for the long story. We arrived and ordered. The cashier seemed young. He wasn't overly friendly but he wasn't rude either. Seems like a young kid who's doing the bare minimum for a job that probably pays the minimum. The chairs were already closed off in the outskirts of the eating area (I assume it's easier to clean and less chaotic for the workers). I'd understand that IF they cleaned the remaining seats. Luckily my bf and I found a two seater that wasn't completely a mess. The seat next to me had napkins and ketchup on it. I assumed they would eventually get to it but never did. I then witnessed what seemed to be the manager on duty, get upset with the cashier for maybe using the wrong cups? It wasn't a very nice conversation and I believe that shouldn't be discussed in front of guests. We get our food and as we're eating, this lady tries to sit in one of the chairs that's put away, and the manager yells at her and said "THAT AREA IS CLOSED" from across the room. I was just expecting a little more respect or manners for guests trying to enjoy their meal or even a "excuse me miss, that area is closed for the rest of the night". Although her intent wasn't meant to be rude (maybe) but her execution definitely was. This also forces guests to sit in areas that are dirty. It wasn't busy and I'm sure sidework on downtime is to clean the dining area. I also witnessed people (workers) scratching their hair and having their hands in their mouth for most of our visit. I really don't want to single anyone out because I really don't want anyone in specific to get in trouble. Now let's get into the food because although I'm HUGE with customer service and I'm fully away that customers are not always right so I try hard to be reasonable because people do have bad days, some people could care less about the service and care all about the food. The food was not worth it. I would suggest to take that 20 min walk to in n out on the strip for better quality food and more of a reasonable price. We got a classic double smash. Every bite tasted like the patty was dipped in salt. I finished it because we paid for it. My bf ordered the bbq bacon cheddar double and he said his patty had no seasoning. We ordered one smash fry and haystack onions to share. The haystack onions had SO MUCH potential. They were almost all battered together (not sure if delivered frozen) but the breading was extremely salty as well. It was literally like taking a spoon full of salt. We couldn't finish it. The fries were DRENCHED in olive oil. Each bite was soaked in oil. I poured it out and had to add napkins and you can see the oil pour out of the container. It bled through the napkins and will post the pictures as well. The one thing that was good was their hibiscus tea drink! It was sooo yummy so I'm giving an extra star for that. Although the containers they make it in stayed out in public view right next to the sodas for our duration of our visit, it was still extremely good. I know this review is really negative. I know I could have expressed my concerns during our visit but with my history of working in restaurants, this place didn't seem to friendly and I didn't want to create any problems verbally. We were also traveling all day and were just super hungry. Unfortunately we threw away the onions and fries. I'm not looking for anything, but I hope this review helps with staff realizing that people are watching to hygiene is important and maybe add a little manners in how we speak to others will go along way. As for the salty food, I'm not sure if that's just where the company gets their food, or if they add seasoning but if yours not a fan of salty oily food (not in the good way) than again I'd definitely try somewhere else.

Had a great experience the only thing I would say was the hours are pretty inconsistent and the quality could be better.

Heard a lot about this place. It was pretty good food but it will hurt your wallet. The staff were not friendly at all. One lady that worked there kept making stupid smirks and ugly faces at customers. Tried it once and that's it for me.

Staff is very nasty. Young lady was sitting on top of the counter where she was also putting people's food. Got mad at me because I asked her to give me some more fries after she kept yawning inches away from mine. Then she kept sniffing and playing with her nose. Not surprised. She yelled that she isn't about to do this and went to get a manager who gave me a refund.

Location is close to work and sometimes you just crave a nice burger! Not a great burger though and felt like I was bothering the people working just to get waited on. Likely won't be back to this one but maybe I just caught them at a bad time?

Rio Hotel and Casino Las Vegas: Zero stars. we order 6 horrible nasty greasy and too salty cheese burgers with bacon! The first thing the waitress tells you before you pay with your credit card the 18% or more tip must be included. Next time for great Cheese burgers go to In and out and save $130. Dollars!!! Good ambiance the casino!

Terrible service! They put all the tables up 2 hours before closing. They roped off the dining room too. The fries were old! The meat was questionable. We were rushed and had to carry our food back to our room to eat. Do Not recommend this location. If I could give 0 stars I would

I'm never one to write a review but after the experience I had this evening with my girlfriend, I was left with no other choice... Long story short my gf got food poisoning from eating a burger here and I knew something was wrong because Immediately after we finished our meal she was complaining about her stomach hurting and then proceeded to spend the rest of the night on the toilet and throwing up in a trash can. Poor thing... :( it was hard to watch. Got her the essentials tho (pepto, crackers, ginger ale) The icing on the cake you ask?? The kitchen staff doesn't seem to care at all about the quality of food that was being put out. Or respecting their higher ups. The lady working as a expediter (bless her heart I could feel her frustration and only reason I gave service a 2 stars) was getting tiresome with her kitchen staff as she pleaded with them too keep up with the orders. It was not that busy and there was at least 4-5 cooks in the kitchen. They all continuously rolled their eyes and made jokes under there breath with their headphones in.. the upmost careless nature, especially in the food service industry, which I work in. We were suppose to go to a concert tonight after a quick meal and this clearly ruined our night. Stay away for your own good. Hope this helps.

This was my first time trying Smashburger, and they didn't disappoint. The line was super long, but they got us through pretty quickly. The food was very, very good. I would definitely recommend the smashfries and bacon smash burger.

I am a hard person to please. However, when ordering my food, the guys seemed to think I was weird, for I had things put off to the side. The service was awesome. The eating area needed a little detail and clean up, but then again, we arrived pretty close to closing time. Noise level was to be expected.

Basing this rating off of two recent experiences. Firstly, the burger is mediocre at best. It's also overpriced for the low quality you receive. My second and most recent visit, I was able to order wings. Go early if you want wings. My first visit was around 10pm on a Friday night and they were out of wings (or so they claimed). It took 20 minutes for them to prepare my wings at my second early week night. The wings were good--but more dipping sauce would have been nice. I had to argue with the rude kid for more ranch. I ended up preferring the honey mustard sauce but I was not about to go back to ask for a second packet. The onion rings smelled better than they tasted and they were more of the crumble you put in a casserole and not rings. All in all, nothing worth returning for food wise Or ambiance wise. Service is pretty bad with a bunch of teen/early 20 year old guys too. Very awkward and creepy vibes I got from them.

We visited this location today. I had never had Smashburger before so I was looking forward to it. There were areas roped off, and chairs placed backwards against the taller tables which kind of tells me they aren't available as seating areas. The employee at the register was friendly enough even tho he had to inform me that they are out of shakes right now (I also overheard him telling another customer that they are out of turkey burgers). I enjoyed my smashburger, but it was super greasy and salty. The fries were tasty also, but again, very salty. The employees were all gathered around the counter sharing some sort of snack and sipping on beverages. Do they not have a break room or provided break times?? I didn't see anyone washing their hands, but some of the staff was good enough to at least put gloves on before handling food bags. Overall, pretty gross for a food establishment. I will likely be visiting Smashburger in the future, just not this one.

Love this burger place inside Rio. Good tasting burger and love their smash tots! The staff was awesome too, very attentive and accommodating. Definitely, a recommend to people stopping by at Rio.

had someone at the register who later told me he was new. Initially I just thought he was being rude when I would ask about the items. He was waiting for me to tell him about the product, shrugging or going to the counter to ask ppl in the back. They were out of spicy Mac n cheese & he told me I was able to get the Mac n cheese w/o the American cheese. I asked about other customizations like adding tomato, lettuce & onions. He asked whoever was behind the counter and came back to tell me "no". Baffled, I asked why I was able to make customizations online but not in person. He shrugged & waited. Beginning to get frustrated, I asked for the manager. The manager or supervisor came from the back (he was preparing food) with an attitude. I asked him the same question, why was I able to make customizations online but not in person. He misunderstood the question saying explaining that is why I could not do it online. I explained again & he walked off while I was opening the app to show him. I asked the man at the register if he told him he was going to do the customizations & he said no. So I told him to ask him. When the manager finally came to the counter he said I could get whatever I ordered, clearly perturbed. When I ordered the Mac n cheese burger & pair I asked the cashier if he remembered no American cheese. He did not. When he asked the manager to do take off the American cheese, the man (I believe he was Latino) who was around the cashier throughout most of this exchange suddenly chimed in to say they can't do that because it's already mixed in to which the manager repeated. I ended up getting a regular burger. The food was good but the manager/supervisor was rude, the staff was not helpful and they shouldn't have had the new guy out there by himself with no one readily on hand to help.

It's an extremely sad day when a customer returns to an establishment to kindly voice how unsatisfactory they felt with their order and the staff laugh make unappreciated comments. All of which is not only unprofessional but extremely adolescent when it a manager(who should invest in the company's dental plan) becomes loud and begins smacking her hand into her other hand repeating what do you want me to do? Well first excuse yourself From the conversation and make way to the office, sign on to the company homepage and click options for Dental plans and I recommend the gold plan . I don't mind waiting for you to sign up. She passed me along to the store manager who was taking an order, I guess because it was beyond her scope to render a customers voice on the food that was paid for wasn't worth $18. Ben slides over to the end of the counter and I explain how the bacon avocado burger had a slice of bacon down the center and a slice of a slice of avocado and that the fries where not fresh but expired reheats. I then showed him the photos I took and he snickered stating my staff would not serve you a half cup of fries and then gestured I removed the bacon and avocado form the burger. At this point the black employee laughed aloud obnoxiously. I kindly excused myself from the conversation and store location. I don't even like Smash burger(it was the only est. open and I was starving) I think it's nasty burger to be honest ...no wonder the stores are closing. Can't call me crazy other yelpers spit the same song as I did. The sooner this company folds the better, we're wasting good beef when its a time to focus on the company's that produce classic quality All American style cheeseburger and fries...like Five Guys!

I love Smashburger and believe it or not I'd really enjoy their salads with chicken on top. For me, I have to tell them no onions and no blue cheese but if you like all of that, then it's a really healthy salad and nice size proportion and really tasty chicken on top.

Ok let's start by saying that I'm staying at the Rio in Vegas . Checking out the Hotel inside and what it has to offer as this is my 1st time here . While walking noticed the big sign upstairs that said Smash Burgers !! Ok Ok sounds like a place I need to hit up one night . Low and behold that night came . Me and my girl ordered a few things off the menu to share . She ordered all American smash ( no thing special ) I ordered double mushroom Swiss truffle . This had some value but was dry and needed produce on it . Tater tots normal . She had truffle fries very oily and greasy . We shared a chocolate/ strawberry shake ( average ) no pop or great taste . Overall not impressed and really could of not went . I expected much more flavor in my burger !! So yea try at your own risk

I was excited to try this trendy place out. When it comes to burgers I'm pretty basic. Do I just ordered a smashburger single patty. It was very good. But what I can't stop raving about is the smash fries. My goodness, I could eat these all day! Crispy and light with some type of rosemary seasoning, amazing. I'm definitely going to explore more of their menu items soon.

The food was good. Made fresh so it was hot. The service was good too. This is a counter service place. You order then sit down and they call you. The fries were just ok, seems like no one has good fries these days. Since it in the casino you never know how busy it's going to be. We went at 9pm and it was not busy. Beware that they started to close at 9:30. By closing we where just finished eating and ready to go. The dinning room is like food court seating

Staff is kind of rude. Hiding in the back to avoid taking orders. Turned off the lights and putting up the chairs an hour and a half before they closed to keep people from sitting inside.

If you want your day to be ruined, come to this place. The women on the register has the nastiest attitude, I asked her if burger that's almost $12 comes with anything on the side, she rolled her eyes to the point where I couldn't even see them anymore. The whole time we were ordering we were getting nasty attitude and dirty looks, I'm sorry but if you hate your job that much, go somewhere else and don't let people who are visiting this beautiful hotel your dissatisfied face.

** KETO REVIEW ** I ordered the Sin City burger without a bun and without cheese over lettuce. The burger came out pretty quickly but the patty was underwhelmingly sized (although tasty). The rest of the ingredients were tasty too. I just felt like there could have been a little bit more compared to other burger joints. Originally I was gonna order a side salad and add a patty onto it but it just got way too complicated. You do have the option to order a regular salad with a hamburger patty. You'll be paying quite a lot though if you do. Service can be kinda slow, especially if there is a line of folks waiting. Our food came out at random times too which can be frustrating if you're in a group. And of course prices are much higher than they should be. It's the "Strip-ish" so it comes with the territory.

Expect the usual casino price inflation, just a burger by itself is $10-12 and combos start at $15 ... cheapest place to eat in the Rio short of a Wetzel Pretzel or a gas station sandwich from the gift shop tho. Compared to other Smashburgers I've been to they make sloppier burgers here, scantier on the fries than regular locations, and can take a long time despite not a particular amount of care going into the works. Not terrible but don't expect a better product for that extra money. Food options are terrible at Rio in its dying days tho, so you might end up stuck with it anyway

Stopped by here since it is located inside the Rio hotel where I'm staying at for the night. Burger sizes are small, as well as the fries. Prices are a bit on the higher end but can't complain. All in all, despite the small sizes, the food was good or maybe it's just because I was hungry and hadn't eaten all day. The employees were nice and showed great customer service.

I've been to a few different locations but this one has to be my least fave. It is located on the 2nd floor right next to the naughty boys showroom. Lol. For fast easy access. Park on the very top floor of the parking garage. It is the first thing you see when you enter the casino. The food was cold. And dry. And not that good. Plus it was crazy expensive for a burger meal. Not worth it

Food was very greasy. Doesn't appear to be very clean. No hair nets or gloves being worn by employees. Watched an employee fill a sauce bottle and then wipe the excess with a dirty towel.

This was my first time coming here! This SmashBurger is located in The Rio. The workers were decent, they were there just to get their job done. Our food was prepared quickly. I ordered a Double Smash Burger. Their burgers were very greasy, but tasted great! Toppings were fresh. The French Fries we're very soggy for me. And the presentation of the Sandwich was messy. Overall, the experience was decent.

Ohhh the service was so slow here. Waited such a long time in line, and when we got to the front, we were held up even longer because the customer in front of us had some issue that needed to involve the manager. Not sure if it was a mistake made from the cashier's side or just a customer request, but they clearly had a fat line waiting and multiple open registers so they should've opened another register for sure. Then when I ordered, the cashier messed up on our order and added something to the bill that we explicitly said we didn't want (a drink). Then had to involve the manager again. Would give a lower rating but the cashier did have a polite attitude. The food itself was ok, nothing special. Got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich for something a little lighter and I'm glad they didn't overdo it with the sauce.

They are inside Cesars palace in the food court area. Not really smashed burger I have had plenty of smashed burgers in Los Angeles this is 2 patties little thicker then in n out burgers. Mediocre hamburgers if your hungry late at night try them out. Fries was very good crispy thin sliced fries

If you are ordering take-out, always check your order before you leave. The front of house were very nice and accommodating, especially the guy who handed me my order. The cashier was kind and patient, and confirmed my order (NO MAYO). I waited ~10 minutes for my order so I figured it would be hot and fresh. I walked 5 minutes to my room and the burger and the fries were cold, and there was MAYO on the burger. The fountain drinks were super and they do have little milk singles (regular & chocolate). I'm here for a week and I'd like to go back, but if I do, I'll double check for accuracy.
