I had a very disappointing experience at this Smashburger location. I ordered and paid for a ground chicken burger, but what I received was a beef burger topped with bacon. Since I don’t eat beef or pork, I wasn’t able to immediately recognize the mistake. It was only after checking online photos of their menu items that I realized the burger I was given wasn’t what I ordered.
I brought it back to the counter, and the staff admitted it was a mistake due to the rush. While I understand busy periods happen, giving someone the wrong protein—especially beef and pork to someone who does not eat them—is not a small error. It’s a serious issue for customers with dietary restrictions, religious considerations and health concerns.
I didn’t ask for a refund because I had already thrown the burger away, but the situation was unacceptable.
