When i tell you that this place is THE place to go to for AMAZING food! They don't kid about their slogan! I got in my car and i was DROOLING over the first bite, and everything was hot fresh! I wish i could give it 10 stars, porterville needs more places like this! I promise you won't regret spending your money here, if they did catering they would be fantastic to have at a large party! Thank you Smashway burgers!

Thin crispy patties layered with cheese and onion. Really felt like authenitc smashburgers not just a buzzword for beef ona flat top.fires were also great with the light crispy batter. Great stuff, will be back 100%

I absolutely loved the atmosphere when walking in. It's a pretty cool vibe. The burgers were delicious, the fries were amazing and not over greasy. Staff were polite and helpful 🙂 We will definitely come here again!

Woah!! Definitely as good as everyone says! Juicy and flavorful. Reminds me of in n out. So so so good! Customer service was horrible all the employees seemed miserable to be there... other than that it was fast and delicious! They also have a drive thru

These are the best burgers I think I’ve had. The workers are great helpful and polite. I seen on TikTok and had to try and I’m so happy I did. U have to try yourself and you’ll wanna put a good review too.

We saw this place on TikTok and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! 10/10. The fries, the burger, everything was absolutely delicious! This has officially become our new favorite spot. We drove 40 minutes to get here, and it was so worth it!

Wonderful service and hands down the best burgers in town. The workers were super nice and customer friendly. The food was served nicely and at perfect temperature. 100% recommend and definitely coming back! Fire food and the milkshakes were GAS💯💯

I came here with a coworker for lunch on his recommendation. I love smash burgers, so I was eager to try them out. I got the pastrami burger and was not disappointed. I thought maybe I should have gotten a double as there wasn't as much pastrami as I expected, but it ended up being the perfect portion size in both regards. It was a delicious burger. Perfectly cooked and well made. Great flavors, including the fries. They didn't ask a fee for the drink refill which I thought they might. The staff was friendly and the restaurant decoration was fun and unique. The prices were on the higher side, but I think it's not unusually high priced for what we see for this kind of food nowadays. I would be glad to eat here again.

This place should be renamed to: Stay Away Burgers! I basically wasted my time and money at this place. No flavor, bun falls apart and the onion rings didn't ring at all. Just keep driving past this place because this place is not the Smash Burger you are looking for!

The pastrami was very fast but kinda small. Offer a bigger option . No Mayo please just pickles and mustard is original. Burger was great and do were the onion rings... a little order for the $$ service was great nice clean your everyday burger ... just smashed. Lighter on the condiments please.

Food was not that good, couldn't taste the onions and the lettuce- hardly anything to speak of, the hamburgers- my husband ordered 3 patties, over cooked-crunchy and didn't have any flavor. The fries were plentiful but nothing good either, bun on hamburger was not big enough either. Well I wish I had a picture to share, but I'm sure you'll have to try it yourself. Sorry, I was hoping it would be a place I couldn't resist and could recommend.

Have been there twice now and the fries are really good, I got a double smash burger and Dubai chocolate strawberry for $15 and it came out to $38 bucks which I think is fair. I'll be going back for the Dubai strawberry thing, I guess smash burgers also means the bun is gonna be smashed also? The drive thru workers (both female) not once said "hi" or "good evening" not very welcoming but hey I got my food and spilt it's just when people talk about supporting small businesses and being part of a community, customer service should be a priority.

Extremely generic with no flavor . Businesses trying to make the most money possible using the cheapest ingredients available .It would be nice if they made real hand formed burgers from fresh ground beef instead of preformed and frozen tasteless burgers.

Visited Smashway today. Ordered the double burger (b) with grilled onions lettuce and tomatoes. The big burger tasted great maybe could have used a sprinkle of salt. I do mean the burger is big-- the meat was thicker than other smash burgers I have had. I like my edges of the burger to be more crunchy and caramelized. The service was quick and got my burger quickly. The main issue is the price $10. That seems like a lot for only the fast food burger. You can make it a combo for $6 add quac for $2. Is everything sky high yes does it make it right no. I dont know how a family can come here very often. I hope they make it and I plan to come back eventually.

Food was great. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken hot. Crispiness 9/10... great crunch and soft on inside. I thought the seasoning could have been more vinaigrette instead of a Cajun. My buddy order the double pastrami burger. That was amazing and highly recommend it. The fries were golden brown, crunchy outside and soft inside. Paid about $23 bucks both combo and drink. Server was nice.

We ordered the Pastrami and Double Bacon Burger combos. They both were perfectly cooked and the taste was amazingly delicious ! You have to try the Milkshake with Matcha, yum! The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent

Jalapeño smash and bacon smash. I ordered 2 burgers veggies and sauce on the side, order to go got home and there were no veggies no sauce. It was very disappointing. Literally meat and cheese nothing else that I wanted on my burger was on it. Im not driving 15 minutes back to get what they forgot to place in the order. I was truly disappointed as I was really looking forward to this and now it is sitting on a plate with no enjoyment.

YUMMY! Clean, friendly, fun, so so good. We got burgers and nuggets and a shake. The burgers were perfect, exactly what you want in a smash burger. The nuggets were good, not life changing. Shake was amazing!!! Love it, will definitely come back for a late night burger :)

Chicken burger was great! The sauce made taste so good. I would recommend smashway burger.

Burgers are delicious and fresh made to order Service was fast and friendly we did not have to wait long for our food , ambiance is family oriented and a chill environment to grab a meal or snack , fresh rolled baklava made daily and yummy ice cream

Atmosphere was awesome! Food was great! I believe they just opened up and I don't go to Porterville a lot but going to go to a burger joint close to this but seen this and wanted to give it a try, glad I did. Burgers and fries were bomb, only downfall is kinda pricey a double burger just a burger is 10 bucks.

I consider myself a beef snob, having grown up on a farm and I give these guys 5 stars. These burgers are great! Worth the money and would recommend.

Jalapeño Smash burger and fries were ok .. not bad just not amazing, however I will go back for the mozzarella sticks . ( Cheese stretched )

The wait seemed kinda long in the drive thru especially because we were the only ones in the drive thru when we went. We ordered a single smash burger and it was freakin delish! The quality and taste of the burger made up for the wait. We will definitely be back!

Probably one of the best places iv eaten in town hands down. Perfect price big portions and great service. These guys have a really good crew and great vibes I don't know why there's not a line out the door. Bye bye super burger I'll be coming here

I had the bacon cheeseburger with pastrami. OMG, it was amazing. The cheese sticks were delicious. All cheese no oil drips. I will be returning.

It's really clean in there . I tried the chicken sandwich combo with the spice level hot . It had Cole slaw and pickles . It was so delicious and crispy . Will definitely come back again .

Drove through Porterville on my way north. Decided to stop and grab a bite to eat. Let me tell you Smashway burgers did not disappoint. Probably the best smashburger I've had, makes me want to make the two hour drive just to get it again. Food was excellent. Their special sauce is delicious. Service was great. The place is clean and accessible!

I had a really disappointing experience. After placing our order, we waited over 30 minutes and noticed that people who ordered after us were getting their food first. My boyfriend had to go up and ask about it, only to find out they never even put in our order. When we finally got our food, they still messed it up,my boyfriend had asked for his plain, and I asked for mine without onion, but neither request was followed. Overall, the service was frustrating and careless, and it definitely ruined the meal for us.

Place is clean, and spaced out which is nice for dine in. A bit pricey, $16 for a double meal, $8 for just a single burger. You only get fresh veggies at no charge if you get a meal, if not you pay for lettuce, tomato, onion. Burgers come with cheese, grilled onion, pickles, and sauce. Food was good, fries were a bit cold, but good. Only complaint was, when ordering I said I wanted plain with cheese only, I got my burger and it had grilled onion, I told the cashier, she asked they said well she didn't say no onion. However I did say meat and cheese only, so I assumed that's what I would get. They asked who I'm assuming is the manager or supervisor, he just shrugged and turned around, seemed like a not my problem response from him. So long story short I had to scrape off all onions (cheese came off with it) just didn't like the way manager handled the situation. Also if you want a burger with fresh veggies ask for extra, i wanted lettuce and literally got 1 piece. Other than that, decent place, I'm sure it'll improve with time.

Everything could improve, except it was very clean. Service was very good but the food sucks. I not spending my money there.

Burgers Are Fire!! So Good & Sooo Fresh!! They Also Have Baklava That Is Sweet And Not Dry. Came Here Twice In One Week. That's How Good The Food Is! Service Is Amazing And So Friendly. Ambiance Is Great, They Play Good Music, It's Bright And The Colors Make It Pop!

Went it with high hopes after seeing a TikTok, but was meet with disappointed. We ordered 4 smash burgers, 10 pc chicken nuggets, pastrami and chili cheese fries. We then checked the bag and were missing items when we went in they accused us of lying and made us bring all our food in to check. They made another mistake and made the wrong item then the owner proceeded to yell at the cashier. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE EATING AT THIS PLACE !!!! save your money and eat across the street at super burger.

My husband and I went after a long day at the lake and it definitely hit the spot. The cashier was really nice, the guys cooking kept everything clean and organized, and the atmosphere itself was clean, comfortable, and inviting. We had a chance to speak with the owner who is very nice and respectful. You can tell they take pride in their business. The food was great. We got regular smashburgers, fries, and a peanut butter shake, which my husband loved. We should have split an order of fries between the two of us instead of two separate orders because of how filling all the food is. Overall, the experience was great and we will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Porterville.

More meat in Pastrami fries. The smash burger was too salty and the cheese was thick.

I waited in line for a simple burger didn't even order the combo just the burger itself I've been in line for 15min mind you there was no one in front of me.... I should've just gone to there neighbor Super Burger its way cheaper and I have never waited there more then 7min highly recommend to check that place out!!

maybe change the work hours got their at 10 and it was close already and it says it's open till 11!?
