"In a lot of ways, Smegy’s II in the Northeast is similar to other bars in the area: conversations between regulars never end—they just pause until tomorrow. You'll hear an Aerosmith song you haven’t heard in at least a decade, and there are always $2 beers on the draft list (it’s Miller High Life). But unlike the others, this bar opens at 9am—and it’s an absolute sing-a-long scene around 10am. So if you’re down for morning darts and an overdressed Bloody Mary (we’re talking bacon strips and grilled shrimp), this is the only place in the neighborhood to do it." - Candis R. McLean
