Smelly pot

This is a hot pot place and while I overall really enjoyed the food here, my experience is just average. They have a variety of different hot pots that you can pick from with different flavors. I really liked the Taiwanese hotpot and my sister enjoyed the spicy pots. You can also add different ingredients to your pot like extra meet or ramen noodles. I really love the quail eggs that they put in some of the pots. I did not like how they charge you like 3$ to share, however, you can put the 3$ towards extra ingredients to add to your pot. I also did not really like service. I have been there 3 times and I feel like the servers are a bit unfriendly and not at all accommodating. They are slow and once when I went, they brought out extra tofu towards the end of the meal when we had already almost finished eating. We told them we didn’t want it anymore since it came out so late and they objected. We had to call out the manager who took it off for us, but it was ridiculous. If you like hotpot though this is a good place to go.

Love the pots, very tasty. Appetizer platter is their secret menu! Before I came, I read a lot of reviews about this place, it was not that bad. Yet,I wish the staff can smile more and be more friendly! Our service has an incredible memories, she remembered all of our orders & drinks correctly. Overall, it’s a great place to dine and hang out with friends and families. Definitely will come back! Oh, they serve king fu tea here!!

Good environment. The food is really special and tasty, it is not easy to find another restaurant which serves the same kind of food in Houston! Stinky tofu is super smelly but delicious! Taiwanese sweet potato with plum powder is highly recommended.

Good Taiwanese individual hot pot place. Your food are already added to the pot when they come instead of you cooking them one by one. In addition to items listed, you get a choice of rice or vermicelli. The favors are good and I'm not thirsty after the meal.

We came with a group friends which was really great. The section where they sat us was very comfortable and big enough for all 6 of us. I like the idea of having our own little hot pot that has a little fire underneath so it will keep warm. The service could be worked on. Not sure if they were really busy but they cared very little for our table. The communication needs to be improved, they didn't really understand our questions. Also it was a little expensive for an average bowl of hotpot.

Came to this place couple times and still very disappointed. NO IMPROVEMENT! WHY you dont give people an option to substitute the food you dont want? You give customer no option but to have to order more from you. WHY are you charging extra for sharing? That just plan stupid to me. Literally you just find any possible way to get $ out of customer. NOT MUCH options to choose when eating here!! Also cleanliness! chopsticks are disgusting! PLEASE use a one time chopstick or may be change it once a while. Your chopstick are all color faded on one end and now its all dry and white due to many eating from that same end. NASTY! CHANGE THE CHOPSTICK! Talking about the food. I would rate a 4 for their food but soooo not comfortable eating with their nasty chopsticks and their service. *** Came back today on Oct 2018. I see they did improve about the chopsticks. Wonder why not the Spoon too? pretty nasty also?

Personal hot pots with kung fu tea served inside, one of my favorite places for hot pot! Typically they only have 1-2 servers or also seat you and do everything else, so the average time to get seated and to order your food is 20-30min. This will not a be quick place to eat. Pictured is the seafood hot pot with no eggs and instant noodles.
