I’m not a vegetarian, but I wanted to try the sandwiches here since they were highly recommended. I ordered the Wiggum, which is a tofu cold cut sandwich, and it was pretty good. The flavor reminded me of a banh mi tofu sandwich, which I thought was a positive comparison.
We also tried a tuna melt style sandwich from the menu; however, I found the flavor to be a bit too zesty and chive-heavy for my taste. On the plus side, the sandwich was toasted very well. The bread was decent but not the best I’ve had—it was somewhat chewy and crusty, but overall, it was fine.
As for the wait times, they were quite long, around 15 minutes, and the store was pretty quiet, so I assume that long wait times are common. The store and deli have a cool vibe, and they offer a variety of other products as well.
