Five stars for Smitty’s! This spot has quickly become one of my go-to places for a laid-back, super fun bar vibe. I’m obsessed with the hibiscus margaritas—they’re fresh, flavorful, and hit just right every time. Taco Tuesdays are a whole vibe too—delicious tacos, great drinks, and an easygoing atmosphere that always makes the night a good one. And if you haven’t been to karaoke on Thursdays with DJ India, you’re seriously missing out. It’s always a blast—great energy, great music, and just an all-around good time. Big shoutout to the owners, Ben G and Shavonne, for creating such a welcoming and fun space. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or staying all night, Smitty’s never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Food here is great. Especially the honey old bay wings, sweet potato fries and waffle fries 10/10.. best wings i have had in the dmv period. Right amount of crisp, meat and flavor.. sweet potato fries.. lets say almost 11/10.. point is the food is so good. The managers are so friendly and accomodating. We came when the kitchen was closed and they were nice enough to open it up for us. But i wil say customer service and food 12/10.. they do Karokee on Thurs. This is my second time here and its never a miss.. good food, good drinks and good customer service

Amazing bar. They hosted a private event for the Sunrise Movement and we had an amazing time. Down to earth owner and bartender. Good drinks and beer. Meatballs to munch on. Really cute atmosphere. I'll be back with my friends. Down to support a community bar like this.

The tacos and quesadillas are delicious! I love the three sauces - there's a Verde, Mild Chipotle, and a mayo-katsup are all on point. The cauliflower tacos are yummy! Liked the shrimp one too. Lovely back patio and they're working on the front space now. Good music, good vibes, good small beer and cocktail list.

Neighborhood bar where you get to meet the local community. This bar also partners with restaurants on on Georgia between park Rd and New Hampshire. The ambience is great and the staff was amazing! They also encourage board game enthusiasts to bring their games and hang out. PS: the cocktails are actually boozy!!!!!

Cool low key vibe with simple well executed cocktails. This place is a bit under the radar but seriously worth a stop. I had an old fashioned that was particularly solid and my friends had other featured cocktails that where well crafted. Also, if you were curious the bar is named in honor of an old timer who was a friend of the owner

My new go-to bar in DC. The owners are so nice, the wings are so good, and the drinks are tasty. The atmosphere is cozy but fun! The perfect place to watch the game or catch up with friends

Wonderful staff and owners. The back patio is a delight. Delicious cocktails. Can't recommend this place enough! They even had Thanksgiving dinner!
