$23+$2 cash tip for 3 tsp of sides. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened my to go container when I got home. Beans were great, just wish I had more than a thin layer to cover the bottom of the plate. Mac n cheese was okay. Ribs were dry. Brisket had good flavor, but was full of fat. I’ve been calling for 2 weeks to order the holiday brisket, but no one ever answered the phone. After today’s visit, it had to be divine intervention.

I travel regularly in my job. I try to find a good barbecue restaurant in each city I travel to. This afternoon I tried Smoked. The brisket was some of the best I've ever had. It had little fat yet was moist but not greasy, and very tender. The flavor was very good and the smoky sweet sauce was really good too. I had the baked beans which were excellent, and the coleslaw which was ok but the dressing didn't have much flavor. The service was good and the girl at the counter was friendly. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely eat here. Check the hours, they close pretty early.

We've been looking for great BBQ in the area for a really long time, and what we found here was GREAT SMOKED BBQ FLAVOR with at least 6 different types of homemade bbq sauce that were all out of this world!!! I'm not kidding when I say that THIS PLACE is the best BBQ in the whole NOLA and metro areas, especially for the money which goes a long way here. Moe's (on Causeway as of this review) comes really close, but for flavor and price SMOKED edges out over the competition imho without a doubt. The smoked flavor in their bbq ribs and chicken could easily be CONTEST COMPETITION BBQ!!! The sides didn't disappoint either, especially the CHILI!!! Ya'll I'm not lying.... Best chili I've ever had in my life. I wish I lived near here because I'd eat here at least once a week. OUTSTANDING FLAVOR! My family and I were in literal HOG HEAVEN! 🤣 We wish we'd known of this place YEARS AGO!! Also, the service was "sweet". The current server is very kind and polite to talk to, fast, very attentive to customers and most of all patient.

Served in less than 3 minutes after order placed. The pulled pork nachos on Fridays is my new favorite item on the menu. If they could add jalapeños it would be perfect.

I don’t know if i just came on a bad day or what but i got 2 plates and they were luke warm, the brisket was extremely dry!! like my teeth & jaw is literally hurting from chewing the brisket. I found this place on instagram and saw how tender and juicy the brisket appeared to be on there however, when i got it today not even 45 minutes ago i was disappointed.

This was my favorite bbq place but has really gone downhill. The brisket sandwich that I got today was more fat than anything. I can't even wrap my head around the fact that they packed baked beans in the same container as the banana pudding in one of my two meat plates, and the other had green beans and banana pudding. They used to pack the sides in separate containers so you didn't have to worry about them mixing together. The last 3 times I went, I had issues. I hope they do better for the next customer because they have lost my business. Do better Smoked!

Nice little bbq place in river ridge. Our job cater smoked on a safety meet. I really enjoyed the food. Great flavor. I recently went to smoked for lunch. I unfortunately wasn't impressed. The tea tasted different? Wasn't good. Tasted like they used raw brown sugar? The brisket sandwich was a junior or little bun. I know brisket is very expensive but would be nice on a big bun. The little bun did have plenty of meat and was very tasty. I do recommend this place for a lunch break or catering your function. The portions are average to small, but filling.

The bbq and the sauces were great. Loved the baked beans. The macaroni and cheese was not great (the cheese was curdled). The potato salad was excellent. Overall, we were happy and would go back.

Had a quick lunch here and ordered the two meat plate with brisket, ribs, brussels and green beans. Had no carbs, but I was still stuffed. Service is extremely fast and the food is extremely good. My only dislike would be that the green beans were canned green beans. I'm big on fresh sautéed veggies, especially since it's so easy to make. The brussels also tasted frozen, but the flavor was really good. You can choose sauces on the side and I went with the Pineapple Bourbon and Island Ghost Pepper, both of which were uniquely delicious.

The duke was awesome. Got brisket and pulled pork. At the time they were out of ribs. Beans for a side and peach cobbler for dessert. Service is excellent, and the ambiance is "anything to do with a pig" It's nice and clean along with a connecting bar.

You ribs are pretty good normal prices But only problem you are drying them out to much

Hands down the best BBQ around Jefferson Parish! The prices are fair especially for BBQ, and the quality makes every penny well spent! Staff is very friendly and service was exceptional. Casual yet very clean environment and family friendly for those that wish to dine in.

Excellent smoked Bar-be-que. I've tried the pork and beef. Cooked fresh daily. The Pour House serves it fresh daily.

Tried this place via delivery today! The brisket had a nice smoky flavor with a beautiful smoke ring. However, it lacked moistness. My nephew had the same experience with his ribs. The baked beans were a little undercooked and definitely on the sweeter side. I prefer a bit more balance of tang, sweetness, and smokiness on my beans, but that's just a preference. The beans were definitely meaty! The macaroni and cheese were really good. Classic southern baked macaroni taste. It could've used a TAD bit more seasoning, but I enjoyed it! Overall, this place was okay! Not bad at all. I recommend giving them a try, probably during lunch time.

What a great surprise to find Smoked Restaurant with a very friendly and welcoming staff. My husband and I ordered the four meat platter with double Brisket and Pulled Pork with sides of baked beans, Potatoe Salad, Mac and Cheese, and Peach Cobbler for dessert. The baked beans absolutely stood out. They have Brisket and other pork in them and are absolutely delicious. The pulled pork was awesome as was the Brisket and so were the sauces you get to choose from. My husband loved the Pineapple Bourbon BBQ sauce while I preferred the Vinegar BBQ sauce. Although the Potato salad was average the Mac & Cheese was smooth and creamy and very good. The Peach Cobbler was AWESOME! And the ice cold Barq's root beer in the bottle topped it all off. We had tons of leftovers and even ordered a side quart of beans to take home. Steve, the owner and BBQ Master came out and spoke with us and was very nice, down to earth and welcoming. Smoked will definitely be a regular stop for us from now on!

Never had anything from Smoked that wasn't top notch! Meats are always great, mac & cheese also great and don't forget to get banana pudding!

Not sure how this place has 41/2 stars.....ribs were charcoal, sausage was a brick, sides were a joke, desserts were not even good enough to be nasty..... amount of food was barely enough for 1person, 2 people is out of the question. Will never go there again

Heard about this best-kept secret on social media, and finally had an opportunity to check in. It's in the same shop as a gas station. It's small on the inside, but it's bright, clean and airy. Service was good. The staff was friendly and hospitable. I interacted with three team members. My order was ready within a few minutes of ordering, and it was lunchtime on a Friday. Now, let me tell you about those burnt ends. When I saw a post on Instagram that read "Burnt Ends Friday," I didn't walk, I ran to try those delectable morsels of porky goodness. And they did not disappoint! They were melt-in-your-mouth tender and packed with flavor. They had just the right amount of fat, and even the fat was tasty. No sauce needed. I asked for hickory and sweet heat sauces, but the hickory was too bitter and the sweet heat too spicy for my liking. I need to learn how to make these because burnt ends aren't cheap. My plate, which included 5 end pieces and two sides, was $21, and they snuck in an $0.81 surcharge for using a credit card. My sides were mac and cheese and brussels. The mac tasted homemade. I think it was made with milk. It was so good. I should've ordered a double portion because the brussels were just ok. The sprouts needed more loving, like some bacon and honey to elevate the flavor. Also, they were limp. I like my brussels roasted like they've been through something. Lastly, the white bread was fine. I don't think it was Bunny brand, however. Lastly, they use quality plastic utensils. They're big and sturdy. None of that flimsy, bendy foolishness. The food actually fits and doesn't fall off.

Yum yum WOW yum yum. Outstanding food. You know when the Saints and Pelican's ask for catering for their players, the food MUST be outstanding. Friendly staff, super clean environment and always outstanding service. Highly recommend their catering.

Hands down the best bbq place in the New Orleans metro area.......I drive 20-30 minutes to eat here from my home and it is ABSOLUTELY worth it.

If I could give it no stars I would!! I was mad to see that they gave me this big end part of the rib full of fat n bone!! Not edible to eat along with this Mac n cheese that was horrible!! They watery couldn't even eat it they was so mad and to mess up Mac n cheese like this you just can't cook!! I was so hungry from being out drinking last night I'm glad I ordered extra stuff!! I had some brisket it was straight and these bake beans was okay to eat!! I ordered greens beans taste n look like they out the can. I was displeased

So this place has been a few different restaurants "My Sisters Table My Brothers Bar"... Hopefully Smoked is here to stay! Nola isn't known for good BBQ so don't let the fact its connected to a gas station stop you from trying. The place is CLEAN not any sticky tables and the decor is perfect. So far I have only had breakfast. They had me sold at Burrito! It's already hard to find a good breakfast Burrito in Nola now to top that you add bbq. BRISKET! Egg,Potatoes,Cheese & Brisket for 7 bucks in this inflation world you can't beat it. The prices for lunch seem to be spot bbq is already an expensive food so Steve prices are perfect. The Burrito was awesome! Definitely be back

Definitely not closed, they are open for breakfast. The absolutely best breakfast burritos around. The brisket is definitely worth going out of your way for. Dickeys don't have S__t on Smoked. Rory they are closed Sunday and Monday

Oh... my this is great! The ribs are really good and zippy with the vinegar sauce ... but that brisket literally melted my tongue. It would be sacrilege to sauce it.

Just wish there was a place closer to north shore. Best barbecue I had since Texas. Get the brisket and you will not be disappointed one bit. Lawrd the employees were so friendly and helpful. Service was quick and delicious

Went to Smoked today, had brisket plate 2 sides. Brisket was excellent, tender, juicy and smoked to perfection. I chose baked beans and potato salad for sides. Loved the beans a mix of porken beans and kidney beans very flavorful. Potato salad was a little dry and bland. Liked the cream soda beverage. I thought it was a little pricey $20 for brisket plate.

2nd BBQ review of 2022 Smoked in Harahan, LA. Very Good BBQ and service with a smile. I had a two meat plate with the Brisket and Pulled Pork, Mac and Cheese and Baked Bean. All very good. I tried two of the sauces, the hickory and the sweet heat. The restaurant was clean and the service was exceptional. I'll definitely be back. I need to try the smoked salmon next. That sounded good.

The food was great. Great service from start to end. Will come again. Burnt ends, ribs, and brisket nachos were the food items we got and will return real soon..

This place is amazing every time!! I love the salmon, brussels sprouts, green beans, baked beans, and potato salad!! My husband also loves the brisket!! We have tried everything and have never been disappointed!! I would give them 20 stars if I could!!

Ok y'all this place knocked my socks off. I don't eat meat so I tried the smoked salmon. It was unlike any smoked salmon I've ever had in the best way possible. Moist and flavorful. The sides I had were mac and cheese and potato salad. I'm really picky when it comes to mac and cheese and this one was SO good. So much flavor. Steve is so nice and friendly. We had a lovely conversation while I learned about him and his business. He makes everything himself and in small batches. So good! You can taste the love in his food.

Some people say this spot is the definition of a hole in the wall, but I wouldn't call it that. This place is located in a strip mall, you might pass right by it initially like I did. Parking is limited as there are other businesses located within that strip mall. It's a cozy cute spot, when you walk in there are a few tables, you order at the counter and someone will deliver your food right to your table. I heard so many great things about the food here, and I wasn't disappointed. All you need is BBQ right! Y'all have to make your way over and get yourselves some top notch BBQ. I feasted on a 2 meats platter consisting of tender and smoky brisket, smoked sausage (I need a few pounds of this), served with 2 sides which was ultra cheesy and creamy mac n cheese, and sweet, savory, and smoky baked beans. I don't remember exactly what BBQ sauce I used, but it was sweet and spicy. The customer service was excellent, the staff was super friendly.

I was disappointed in both the quality and the price. The brisket was cold and overdone. The side portions were okay, nothing special. And small. Left out the bread, which is 1 slice of white. For $20 I expected something better.

Was quite worried to see no one in there at one on a Sunday. I mean it's bbq day. Almost walked out as that is a sign But ended up not bad. Service was sub par. Very unenthusiastic and unwelcoming. Ordered rib and brisket Mac and green beans. All was little cold for my liking. Brisket was tender and good. Ribs not so much. Tough over cooked and sitting too long I guess. Maybe just need to show up sooner when it's actually cooked. The bbq sauces were all distinct and good. Pineapple bourbon was interesting. The Mac was not bad but not the creamy consistency I prefer. Not sure why they call it seasoned green beans as didn't taste any seasoning. I love banana pudding but this one is ok. It shouldn't be same consistency as the whip cream. Needs more wafers.

Ribs were good and I usually care less about ribs. The did me wrong on a very fatty two pieces of brisket. They apparently to not trim the fat cap.

Great food and service!! Don't let it being located right next to a gas station fool you, this place is legit good BBQ. Will definitely go back again soon. I got the daily special which was a smoked chicken quarter and a small rack of ribs with two sides and it was only $17. Couldn't finish it all.

Smoked is a barbecue haven tucked into an unassuming strip right off of Jefferson Hwy. The menu here has offerings of brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken and salmon, which is a unique choice for a barbecue place. Sides include potato salad, mac and cheese, coleslaw, baked beans and much more. They even have a breakfast menu and desserts! I had the brisket with potato salad and mac and cheese ($18). Man, this brisket came out smoky and tender! There's amazing flavor to the meat and the restaurant's selection of sauces such as hickory, sweet and pineapple Bourbon, kick the tastes up to the next level. Potato salad is a favorite barbecue side for me and Smoked's is delicious- smooth and flavorful. The mac and cheese was excellent and had a bit of pimento flavor to it and a nice creamy texture. The food was great, and so was the service. Owner Maureen came around to every table and made sure that everything was up to the restaurant's standards. And here's a secret- there's a bar next door and, if you want a beer with your barbecue, you are more than welcome to bring your food to the bar and enjoy it there. Located in an older strip mall in Metairie, I almost passed it by! Parking was scarce due to so many businesses and limited parking spots. Stopped in to have the "Special of the Day" which is burnt ends on Fridays however I was shocked the price wasn't special. I paid $20 for a small lunch portion of food. I follow this restaurant on IG and was anxious to try them but unfortunately I was disappointed today. The macaroni and cheese was watery and mushy, the beans were inconsistent and the peach cobbler was just alright. However, the burnt ends were the BEST I've had in awhile!!! Review received 3 stars because of phenomenal customer service, clean and tidy atmosphere, and great burnt ends!

This newest of BBQ joints in the area is located inside a non-descript strip mall location that would be easy to miss if you didn't know where you were going. It is a smaller no frills place currently and my first disappointment is they offered no fresh brewed iced tea. I quickly decided on my staple of brisket to evaluate their BBQ offerings. I was slightly excited by their selection of four sauce offerings in: 1) Vinegar 2) Hickory 3) Sweet and 4) Pineapple Bourbon The sauces were all good with the brisket being tender while the mac'n cheese is good and the slaw is crisp. The serving size was on the smaller side for my expectation in comparison to the Joint and the flavor, texture and overall experience was not as good as what I have come to expect from the Joint. I will certainly give this place several more samplings but for now at least they are still behind their nearby BBQ competitor Très Bon Cajun Meats.

Smoked is one of the newest additions to the metro area's booming BBQ scene. If you tied me up and waterboarded me, I would quickly admit that BBQ is my favorite food. Roast beef po-boys are a close second, but brisket is my current favorite. Like roast beef po-boys, many people cook brisket, but few make great brisket. Smoke is a very attractive restaurant. It is not fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but the clean, simple decor is modern and welcoming. Sauces are kept on the table along with a roll of paper towels. This is a requirement for any good BBQ joint. Service was friendly and prompt. I ordered at the counter, was given a number, and my food arrived quickly. I judge all BBQ restaurants by their brisket. The brisket here appeared to have been kept in some sort of liquid. Some of it was falling apart while other pieces were wet, but dry at the same time. I am not sure why the meat was kept in liquid, but the texture and taste were not what I expected in sliced brisket. Maybe I went on a bad day for brisket. It happens. I have a high bar for brisket and this was not on par with other regional BBQ joints. In addition to the brisket, I also tried their jalapeno smoked sausage. It was super tasty and I would definitely order it again. In summary, I liked everything about Smoked except the brisket. It seems like I may be in the minority with that opinion based on their other reviews, but I like what I like.

Best barbecue I've ever had! I had the pulled pork, hot link, baked beans, potato salad, and possible the best mac and cheese in the world. I recommend this place to anyone to try, and I definitely will become a regular here.

Best BBQ in NOLA area! (Of course, my opinion). I grew up in Kansas City, lived in Texas and the Carolinas, and this place is a fusion with a New Orleans touch. I recommend Friday's burnt ends!

Had the brisket sandwich for lunch. It was the best tasting and the brisket was cooked perfectly. Brisket can be stringy and tough but these people know what they are doing. I will get lunch and dinner from them today. Found my go to place for Bar B Que. Really excellent food.

Smoked, simply put had the best smoked meats I've had near New Orleans in a very long time. Nothing fancy, but good food- they hit the nail on the head with this. I stopped by hoping to have smoked wings. Although they weren't available that day, as they were preparing to move to their new location, I chose from the list of other good eats. Let me add, the people who own the place are a sweet as pie. They took the time to go over their favs, customer faves, and what would soon become my favorites. Sides also met the mark. I'm not a fan or Mac and cheese made on anyone's stove or pot. I was a bit worried when i ordered, but was assured it would be satisfying and it's not made on the stove. I must add this place offer a tasty side of Mac and cheese that was baked. A good combination of cheese and thickness. The baked beans were perfect (also think pinto beans were amongst the mix in addition to meat). The side of Brussels wasn't necessarily my favorite with the addition of bacon. I prefer a crispier side of Brussels. Nonetheless, everything else made up for it. A variety of sauces from sweet to heat to satisfy any palate. Looking forward to visiting again and trying the smoked wings.

Harahan is just blowing up with good restaurants and this is another one to add to the list. We ordered just about everything on the menu: the ribs, honey ham, brisket and pulled pork. I had a side of the mac and cheese and beans. The best was the ribs and the brisket. The ribs were fall off the bone good and the brisket was smoky and tender. The mac n cheese was sooooo good and creamy, I could have ordered 2 pints of that! The beans were ok, I was not a huge fan of that flavors that were happening in there but fiber is healthy so there is that. The ham and pulled pork were good, just were not the stars of our meal. I like that when you order, it is counter service, so it is easier to split checks. The restaurant is not huge, but it is a quaint space and attaches to the bar next door which is nice if you want booze since I do not believe they have sell booze at Smoked - I could be wrong but I did not see it offered anywhere. It is behind a gas station. I liked that at check out, you have options for which sauce you want to add to your meal. There were 4 sauces and we tried the Pineapple Bourbon sweet one and the spicy one. Both were really good, but the pineapple bourbon one was my absolute favorite and would love to have the recipe for that. It was thick, sweet and had a hint of spice to it that made it perfect with either the ribs or the ham. The chef came out and checked on us to see how everything was. I told him how much I loved the ribs and brisket. I really do enjoy when a small family restaurant or any restaurant really, has an owner or chef who cares enough to stop what they are going to ensure their guests are enjoying their meals. It speaks volumes. When I come back here, I will order a huge full rack or ribs, a double order or mac n cheese and a couple of containers of the bourbon pineapple sauce!

Disclaimer: I won an IG giveaway to visit Smoked. But the food was so good, I had to leave a quick review! Very few BBQ places do it for me. I'm often left disappointed in the quality of New Orleans BBQ because of one important personal factor: the food is just way too messy. I know, I know. "BBQ is supposed to be messy!" you'll say. But I'm part of the dainty foodie squad. So that's my prerogative. One of the best things about the meat at Smoked is that they are so flavorful, sauce is totally optional. (Although I TOTALLY recommend trying all of them, they're pretty good.) I selected sausage, brisket and ribs for my meats. All of them were smoked to perfection, making it difficult to choose which was my favorite. The ribs and brisket were super tender and the sausage was so juicy. Ribs were cooked so well, I ate much of them without any sauce on them. I peek at their IG account often, so I already knew which sides I wanted to try, especially the sweet potatoes! They were sweet without being overpowering and unlike other places I've had BBQ sides, they actually tasted fresh. Baked beans were tasty and full of meat. Sauces I would recommend trying are the signature Pineapple Bourbon which has a unique flavor profile, the Smokey Sweet which I enjoyed dipping the sausage in and also the Hickory sauce which is great for slathering on your ribs. For all my health fanatics and pescatarians, they also have lighter options such as salmon. This place feels homey and is worth the stop if you're in the area! Great hospitality. Smoked is the perfect name for this place. My fingers smelled like smoke for hours after! Quick and friendly service! Everything was super yummy. Baked beans were stellar. Chicken wings could've been a little hotter, but the pineapple bourbon bbq sauce made up for them being luke warm. We also had the special pulled pork nachos, which were excellent! Would definitely come back!

Got the Special for the Day- Brisket & Pulled Pork, Bake Beans, Cole Slaw. The Sauces he has is Incredible - Smoked Sweet Heat & Pineapple Bourbon was the best-- Not a lot of room to eat, but they have take out... The place is Super Clean-- Highly recommended ---give'em a try in Harahan

Stopped in for lunch out of curiosity and I am glad I did. Real BBQ, good bark, no knife necessary, the pineapple bourbon sauce was so good I bought some to take home. If you are curious if you should stop here, do it, they will not disappoint. In private, I would lick the plate clean even after I wiped it down with the bread.

I heard a lot about the bbq here from a friend...I tried it out for lunch. I got a brisket and rib plate. To start the portion was tiny for the price. I had one 3/4" thick slab of brisket that was cut in half and a 4" piece of ribs. The brisket was so fatty that I contemplated sending it back. It was very flavorful and juicy but, as a former bbq restaurant worker, I'd used it for trimmings for the beans. The flavor was a nice smoked flavor and the seasoning was good. The ribs were overcooked and dry. They fell off the bone but it was because they were well done. They did have a good flavor of smoke and seasoning. The sides I chose were baked beans and their version of brussel sprouts. The baked beans were probably the best part of the meal. The brussel sprouts were good but nothing that would make me come back. I will return because of the flavor of the food...just not the quality of the meats I chose that particular day. The service was very good as the waitress got our food out promptly. The ambiance was typical of any family restaurant. I forgot to take pictures of the food but next time I go I'll update this review. Give them a try because I think I might have gotten an end of the lunch rush plate.

One of my favorite bbq spots in the city hands down and it's right down the street from my house! Everything I've had from there has been great. My favorite meal is the Pulled Pork sandwich with Mac and cheese finished off with whatever cobbler they're offering that day. The sandwich is served on a potato bun and definitely does not disappoint. I even asked Steve to make some apple cobbler, he delivered the very next week and it was fantastic!!

Most of our meal was phenomenal! Brisket, ribs and sausage were delicious. I'm very picky when it comes to potato salad and I LOVED theirs. Brussel sprouts weren't what I was expecting but still delicious, cooked more like cabbage with bacon. I wasn't impressed with the chicken and macaroni and cheese. To me, the macaroni and cheese had a plasticy aftertaste; my husband didn't taste it. The chicken tasted unseasoned and boring.

Harahan finally has a decent BBQ Joint!!! A non-descript location (it is next to Kim Ahn Noodle House) in a wee strip mall, Smoked can play with the big dawgs. Their Brisket (Burnt Ends) is legit, and flavourful enough that they don't require sauce - unlike a certain chain that is closer to the Huey P. Long Bridge. Their sides are hella good (I've had the Mac & Cheese; Beans, and Mashed Potato's so far). They will outgrow this location with a quickness!

Visiting in the area and found Smoked on Yelp! The reviews did not disappoint. The Burnt Ends were like no other. Their Pineapple Bourbon Sauce was out of this world. Since we live in Orlando we ordered up 2 pints to bring back with us.
