Best Dishes Eater Editors Ate This Week | Eater LA

"I was impressed by a loaded latke topped with smoked brisket, horseradish cream, and scallions that stayed golden and crunchy despite being loaded and waiting, making it an ideal theme-park fuel to tide me to dinner." - Eater Staff

Disneyland Now Takes Phone Orders For Food | Eater LA

"I learned that Smokejumpers Grill is among the 15 eateries slated to offer mobile ordering via the Disneyland app; initially available to Annual Passholders with plans to expand to all ticket-holders, the app allows me to select items, choose an arrival time and pay, then tap on arrival to alert the kitchen for delivery, with customization options and automatic passholder discount application while in-person ordering continues to be an option." - Carlye Wisel

Google
Smokerjumpers is a good and decent spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu offers mostly American comfort food — burgers, chicken sandwiches, the Impossible burger, desserts, featured snacks, and more. If you fancy an alcoholic drink, you'll find rotating beers, sweet cocktails, and cold brew cocktails. Some menu items are hit-and-miss, but over the years, the burgers, onion rings, fries, and snacks have been among my favorites. I also look forward to seasonal and Food & Wine event items. I particularly like the self-serve condiment stations for ketchup, mustard, ranch, and BBQ sauce. There are a few familiar menu items for kids — burgers, chicken tenders, and kid-friendly drinks. As with most Disney restaurants, allergy-friendly and plant-based menu options are always available. The standard fountain and seasonal refreshments are also offered. Free water is also available, just ask the staff (cast members). Mobile ordering and Magic Key pass holder discounts are also great features. The staff, for the most part, have been kind and get your orders out as fast as possible. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor patio seating areas, which are spacious and kept clean throughout the day. The staff will also be glad to take your used trays and discard the trash when they are around.

My family and I just had the most incredible dinner at Smokejumpers Grill! Seriously, it was a knockout meal. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with fried pickles and a side of buffalo sauce, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. My wife is still raving about her chicken tenders—she hasn't stopped talking about them for hours. Everything was out of this world. You really have to go and see for yourself just how good it is. We'll definitely be back for more!

Google
I ordered the Bearpaw pecan cold brew and fried pickles. The cold brew is hands down the best Disneyland parks have to offer and I will die on that hill (sorry, Black Caf). It's sweet but balanced with the nutty, earthy bitterness of the pecans. As for the pickles, they were overly salty. The dip was fine but I the salt overpowered the flavor.

Google
Surprisingly good chicken sandwiches—simple but tasty, nothing fancy. For being Disneyland, it’s better than most food options. The adult drinks were also pretty solid

Google
The breakfast burritos and fries are top notch. We don’t have many traditions in the parks, but this is one of em. We do DCA first and immediately get breakfast here. Also the salsa? So good!

Google
Everyone who worked here was really friendly and working hard. I really like the vibe here, kind of an homage to wild land firefighters who definitely do not get the love they deserve. I was really impressed with how low the prices were, especially being in a Disney park. And the food was very good. Looking forward to my next visit

Google
A seasoned restaurant with both traditional and mobile pickup. The old photos of smoke jumpers really sold it for me. My late sister Morgan Baker was a smoke jumper and it was nice to feel a little closer to her during our meal. The food was good, and the people with dietary restrictions in my party were easily and fully accommodated.

Google
Atmosphere- 4 stars- Located in the Grizzly River section of Disney’s California Adventure Park next to Soarin. Tons of seating inside and out. Clean and a great place to take a break. Service- 4 stars- Counter service but cast members were friendly and helpful. Food came fairly fast. Food- I got the Impossible Double Cheeseburger with crinkle cut fries. Burger comes with a smoky crème sauce but you can ask to get it plain. It was really good!! If you didn’t tell me it was vegan I wouldn’t have any idea. Awesome burger!!! Fries were really good too.

Yelp
Not a bad place to grab a quick meal or snack. Came for breakfast and got the French Toast sticks which came with fresh berries and syrup. I was a little sad they don't offer any veggie or non red meat breakfast options which was why I ordered the french toast. The breakfast sandwiches and burritos are served with seasoned fries and those were delicious! Perfectly fried and well seasoned. I came back the next afternoon and ordered french fries as a snack. Still perfectly fried and satisfied my hunger and craving for french fries, but they were not seasoned, just regular salted fries. I'm not sure if you can ask for them seasoned but I assume it's a breakfast only thing which was a bummer. The only thing I do not recommend was the Bearpaw Cold Brew. I ordered it with my french toast sticks and it was a disappointment. It tasted like bitter coffee to me with cold foam and waffle pieces. I tried drinking it without a straw to get the cold foam in each sip, but it tasted more palatable after I mixed everything together and drank it.

Yelp
Smokejumpers Grill is located in Disney's California Adventure next to the Soaring Over California/the World ride. My family and I have only eaten here twice from what I recall, once for lunch and once for breakfast more recently. I remember not being impressed with the lunch options - I believe it was just mediocre burgers. Last week we went for breakfast and tried the Breakfast Burritos and they were actually pretty good! I ate 3/4 of it and it kept me full for majority of the day. It also came with salsa that wasn't spicy, but still added good flavor. My daughter had the French Toast Sticks and liked those as well - the Seasonal Cold Brew (the flavor is currently slipping my mind) washed it all down nicely too. The inside is themed like an airplane hanger, big and open with lots of tables inside and outside. Service was friendly, but the line moved crazy slow. We luckily beat the rush, but it still took longer than you'd expect. Overall, Smokejumpers Grill is not my favorite DCA place to eat and I would definitely not visit again for lunch, but it is decent for breakfast!

Yelp
I am so glad with all the remodeling Disney does, they have kept this monument to wild land firefighters basically intact. It has a cool fun vibe, and I hope they never change it. Employees were definitely friendly and helpful. Great job folks. The food was actually better than I thought it would be, and the price was definitely much more reasonable than I expected. Great place for families trying to feed the youngins and not go broke.

Yelp
This breakfast burrito was delicious! And SO filling. It definitely filled me up until snack time. The flavors were great, and it was so nice to get a hefty plant-based breakfast! Mobile order was easy, the vibe was great, and the cast members were friendly. Great all around!

Yelp
Smoke jumpers Grill is located at the edge of Buena Vista street area and The Grizzly Peak area. The ride closest is Soarin'. I love the fact this is an indoor and outdoor casual counter service dining space. It serves burgers milkshakes fries onion rings , chicken tenders and seasonal treats. Think of those fast counter service restaurants when one would see them near nation parks or similar à la Hoover damn or Royal Gorge (neither in California haha) prices are on park with theme park prices. $8 milkshakes , $10 sandwiches. On my visit I wanted to try to get a themed sipper but they were sold out. I did get a color changing glow cube and Oogie Boogie glow in the dark "cube" the cast member kindly asked if I wanted it in my drink or handed to me. Nice touch as I ordered a chocolate milk shake and that wouldn't have been fun, plus how messy! Food here comes out quickly. You can sit in nice shaded areas outside. My pops loved this place when I would bring him to DCA when I worked here. It was his favorite place to get shakes. I will return to this place next time I visit , I like their fries and onion rings.

Yelp
I come here whenever I'm in California Adventure! Not each day I'm there, but once a trip usually. Pre-pandemic, I remember getting their Birthday Cake shake. I love the aeronautical theme. They have yummy seasonal meals and drinks. I got the Chicken salad (they say it's seasonal, it should be on the menu full-time) and the Boo Berry Shake (October 2025.) My mom, who has a lot of allergies, got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Portions are good-sized. Fries were good. The salad had quite a bit of chicken so it was more filling. Service, as with all Disney restaurants, is wonderful.

Yelp
Food is usually good here. This morning I had a chorizo breakfast burrito. It was meh . The cheese was fake plant based American style slices and it was not even close to being melted. I like soy based chorizo but this was gross. The service was okay. When we got up to the counter the lady who assembled our tray never said a word to us even though we had greeted her with a smile. The ambiance was amazing. The place is "smoke jumper" themed and had a lot of decorations to match. Bottom line, I will avoid plant based food here in the future.
google avatar

Leilani M.

Yelp
Located right next to soarin ride. Lots of seating space indoor or outdoor. Order ahead on the app for pick up time. This new way of reserving your food items is very convenient but takes a bit of time management. Cuts down on the wait time and efficient pick ups. Great service and a classic option for burgers and bbq. On certain evenings the park is less crowded with lots of open tables.

Yelp
Sometimes you just feel like some onion rings. We were at the end of one of our Disney days and I was in the mood for onion rings, and wouldn't you know it, we'd just done Soarin' and next-door Smokejumpers had onion rings on their menu. They're great. They're exactly what you want out of onion rings; they were super fresh, hot and crispy on the outside, and soft and oniony on the inside. I'd eat them again anytime. The next morning, we felt like a quick breakfast so we returned to Smokejumpers to get the Chorizo Burrito ("Sausage, Chorizo, Egg, Cheese, Hash Browns and Avocado Sauce with Molcajete Salsa, served with Cuties Mandarin Oranges"). Even though it was under the plant-based side of the menu, somehow we didn't realize there was no actual meat on it. But even still, this isn't a great item. Everything in it is deep-fried and tastes exactly the same, and if that salsa was in there, it was so sparingly applied that we couldn't taste it. As a result, the whole thing ate so dry that is became a little oppressive. I dipped it in barbecue sauce, which did help a little. In conclusion: Onion Rings, yes! Chorizo Burrito, no.

Yelp
Beware that the grilled chicken sandwich includes a hatch chile, so it was unfortunately too spicy to share with my toddler for lunch. I wish it was stated on the menu, because I only found out too late after I tried to feed the chicken to my kiddo and she cried because it was too spicy. :( The French fries and chicken tenders are really good. Staff and service is excellent, especially as the person behind the counter noticed that I was trying to wrangle two rambunctious toddlers by myself and the offered to help carry my tray of food out to our table outside. :)

Yelp
When trying to accommodate 15 peoples taste you go somewhere basic. Smokejumpers grill is that but it's not terrible either! I got the chicken tenders and fries, another got the cheeseburger, and one got a grilled chicken sandwich. My tenders and fries were great, they came out hot and the fries were awesome. The comments on the burger and chicken sandwich were not great. I didn't taste them so I can't say. I strongly suggest you mobile order! We entered the standby line and mobile ordered while waiting and it was ready in a few minutes while everyone in front of us were still waiting in line. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and it's a very cool yet casual setting.

Yelp
This is a great place for a meal. The breakfast is good and so is the lunch. It sits adjacent to Soarin' and just to the right of the front entrance of the Cathay Circle inside of California Adventure. They have burgers or chicken sandwiches for lunch/dinner with choice of fries or onion rings - they do offer grilled chicken if you prefer that. We ate for $55+/- for a family of 4 (we are eligible for a 10% discount from DVC). Our serving team was excellent and the customer service person who took our order (EmiliaA at about 130pm on 1/31/25) was super friendly and helpful not only about our food choices and food order - but about advice for shopping for fun/gift items, etc Thanks for great food and super service and a comfortable place to regroup and get ready for Soarin'!!!!

Yelp
Very convenient to mobile order. Plenty of seating and a good number of food options for the family. The onion rings were quite good. The burger and chicken sandwiches were happily eaten by the kids. The chicken salad was decent but a bit small. Got a notification on my app when the food was ready, so it was very easy. No drink refills.

Yelp
We've been here numerous times and its usually pretty solid with the burgers. Its a vintage air hanger themed restaurant that serves American food. I had the Chipotle BBQ bacon double cheeseburger. Comes with fries but I upgraded to onion rings. The onion rings are good but are thick with batter. There already onion rings in the burger and adding more onion rings to the meal made this burger really heavy really fast lol. It might've been better with fries. Aside from that the burger is good. I could've done without the sweet pickles. After a few bites I removed the pickles as it was too sweet for me. They have dispensers for ketchup, bbq, and ranch. I tried them all but have to go with classic ketchup for the onion rings. Lots of space and tables. Staff was awesome. I already got table and was settled but an employee offered to clean it as she cleaning other tables. Very nice employee. She could've just let me sit there without saying anything so I appreciate it very much. The cashier was awesome and even got the chef to come out to check on food allergies. Thank you!

Yelp
Staff es very pleasant. Fries were hot, crispy, and tasty. Burger was lousy. Chicken sandwich was terrible. Kids meal was good. It used to be so much better.
google avatar

Terry M.

Yelp
More chicken strips for the kids, a salad and burger for the adults. Their chipotle double cheeseburger was decent, as was the chicken salad. The service was good, as it always is at DLand. The ambiance is "outdoors", lots of seating and lots of shade so that's a big plus! :)

Yelp
Service was fast and friendly, environment clean and plenty of space, delicious food, could be a bit hotter temperature but was cooked thoroughly.

Yelp
I dropped by here to get a quick snack of chicken nuggets and french fries. The chicken nuggets were delicious and exactly what I needed as a pick me up before dinner. Nothing bad to say about it, but I highly recommend using mobile ordering to get through faster.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
How can you go wrong with chicken tenders?! While I must admit there is nothing special to go on about what stood out to me was the customer service I was given. From the (blonde haired) gentleman tracking down a high chair for my 1 year old as I tried to find a seat for us to Miss Heather getting the food right midst the sight confusion that alone gets another visit outta me. The customer service was top notch and the attention to detail was noticeable here!
google avatar

Yelp
The vegan breakfast burrito with fries and salsa was good! Also used a lot of hot sauce.

Yelp
While I was here, I had a chicken nuggets and french fry meal. The chicken nuggets were delicious and exactly what I needed as a pick me up before dinner. Nothing bad to say about it.

Yelp
I woke up in the morning. I drink water and lemon and I just didn't wanna be sick at the park so I drink a DayQuil from the gas station . My stomach was so upset the whole day. I need to get food inside my system ASAP. Why would I pick beyond burritos is beyond me. I should know better not to mess with any kind of Mexican food I'm a Latin girl with the best kind of Mexican food at home . Note to self never buy Mexican food at Disneyland. While I was eating my friends decided it would be a great day for day drinking. So they decided to drink a little coffee alcoholic beverage with fruity pebbles on top . That's one way to start a day..

Alex A.

Yelp
DO NOT get the chorizo burrito.. cheese was still in tact not melted at all, chorizo taste like chili beans or something it's disgusting..
google avatar

Yelp
Smokejumper's wasn't very crowded tonight and there was very little wait time required for online orders so we decided we'd ride Soarin' and then eat nextdoor after we were done. Tables inside were readily available for a change which we really appreciated since the weather outside has been cooling down the past few nights. I ordered my usual standby the double cheeseburger for $15.50 and upgraded my fries to onion rings for $1 more. My wife ordered the chicken tenders which looked more like a kids meal than an adult entree. There were lots of crinkle cut fries which were necessary to make up for empty space left by the minuscule chicken tenders. Thank goodness the fries are pretty decent. $12 for these tenders is really pushing it. One thing that REALLY impressed me was what the staff did when a child dropped his milkshake and started crying uncontrollably. The poor kid was heartbroken and I'm not sure his mom would have purchased him another one to placate him. It was really sad listening to the little guy crying his eyes out. One of the Disney crew saw what had happened and while another cast member started cleaning up, the other went to the kitchen to replace the shake that had met its fate. When she brought the replacement, the young child's eyes lit up and he began clapping as if he had witnessed the second coming of son of God. I was very happy for the tike who I can only pray managed to hold on to his replacement and didn't drop it again. I had been the recipient of this type of assistance years back when my children's popcorn had taken a dive and was replaced by a kind worker over in Tomorrowland. Props to the workers who went out of their way to show kindness to a future Disney customer who will be paying through the nose like the rest of are doing today. The mouse may have lost his copyright but he keeps rolling down the path of customer marketing one child at a time.

Yelp
*** Vegetarian Review *** Located inside Disney California Disney, next to Soaring. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Fast ordering - don't forget to give your annual passes for discounts. Double Impossible Cheese Burger ($15.49 or $14.18 with discount) - this was hella good. I've been eating impossible burgers for what seems like forever now, but these seemed thinner and how they flavored them was great. All the usual fixins and they don't skimp on these at all. I had 5 picked in my hamburger and two large tomato slices. Grill onions too! Comes with crinkle fries, cuties, or onion rings. I was definitely in the middle for the crinkle fries and I was not disappointed. Not overly salted and they were piping hot. Final tip - they have a self-serve, complimentary BBQ and ranch station. Ketchup too, but who cares about ketchup. Ranch for the fries. BBQ for my Impossible Burger. Yes please. Really enjoyed my meal here and betting other vegetarians will too.

Yelp
I haven't had an actual meal at Smokejumpers Grill, but I stopped by the patio with friends and our attendant families for a little afternoon break. We needed a place to eat our churros and there were empty tables available. I assume this was fair game. We might not have ordered from this particular menu, but the money all goes to Papa Disney. We ended up relaxing for a while, and it was very peaceful and pleasant. At some point, one of my friends got French fries from Smokejumpers, and they were genuinely delicious. Fresh, salty, and golden. Who knows if we'll ever make it back here, but I appreciated the respite and tasty fries.

Yelp
Has that old school, aviation look to the inside. Did a mobile order, so didn't have to wait in line, so that was nice. The girl that helped me was nice; she helped me quickly too. I ordered chicken tenders & crinkle-cut fries. They were all right. Absolutely nothing special about them. The fries seemed like they had been cooked for a while too. Best way to describe it: cafeteria food. The dipping sauces didn't make it any better either.
google avatar

Yelp
My review is going to reflect the breakfast items only. I didn't realize they served breakfast at Smokejumpers until we walked past it one day and saw their breakfast menu posted outside. My husband hit up Disney in the morning so we popped in here to grab some breakfast and coffee. If you remember to do so, I highly recommend placing a mobile order. The line was a little long with about 20 parties ahead of me at 9:30 AM. With only one cashier open, it was about a 30-minute wait in line and an additional 10-minute wait for the food. The staff was quite friendly, but I wish they would have opened a second register to speed the line along. My husband ordered the Classic Breakfast Burrito and I had the Breakfast Sandwich and the Breakfast Cold Brew. The burrito was delicious and it came with sausage, bacon, egg, cheddar, and hash browns with molcajete salsa (which you have to ask for). He says this breakfast burrito was better than the one served at the Cappuccino Cart, and I agree! My breakfast sandwich sounded good in theory because it came with sausage, egg, cheddar, hash browns, and green chile, but I felt that it lacked a little flavor. This does not come with salsa so maybe that's what was missing for me. The Breakfast Cold Brew was just okay, and I didn't care for the marshmallow foam. They have a self-serve ranch, BBQ, and ketchup station for those who like a lot of sauce options. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was a nice day, we decided to sit outside. A lot of the outdoor seating area is covered, which is nice so the sun isn't in your face.

Yelp
This quick service restaurant is located within g Disneyland California adventure near soaring over the world! We were craving a burger and the chipotle double cheeseburger did not disappoint! We loved the crinkle fries and the free ranch for dipping! There is plenty of seating at this location inside outside in the sun and plenty of shaded spots as well. Definitely stop by this casual spot for a quick bite!
google avatar

Yelp
Located next to Soarin' you will find Smokejumpers Grill. Over the years, I've popped in for a few items but nothing really stands out for flavor/quality. Tends to be mainly burgers, chicken tenders, etc. Nothing that is really up my alley, but I can see why it's popular with families as they have kid favorites. Plus, there is a decent amount of seating so you can usually find a place to relax. Don't forget! This location offers mobile order and pay, so order ahead to skip the line.
google avatar

Yelp
The burgers are always just ok. I wish they had more topping options. The prices are a bit much. I had the kids breakfast sandwich and the special oogie boogie lemonade which was a little sour but in a good way!
google avatar

Nancy F.

Yelp
This wasn't my first time trying this place but it was my first time trying their breakfast burrito. This burrito was so good and I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it so much and it was very filling. The salsa on the side just gave it that extra flavor I was looking for. The service here has always been great. Cast members have always been helpful and friendly. I love the amount of seating they have here. I have yet to ever have trouble finding anywhere to sit, especially on those hot summer days. I definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
GLUTEN FREE REVIEW This review is only for the gluten free burgers. I usually get the double cheeseburger with the gluten free bun and fries. This is my favorite spot in DCA. The bun tastes good and I've never gotten a reaction from eating here and that says a lot. Staff is well aware and have an allergen menu. They make sure there is as minimal cross contamination possible. There's plenty of tables inside and outside. This is always my go to spot.

Yelp
Recently stopped by Smokejumpers Grill to try out some of their seasonal offerings. It is not typically one of my favorite spots at the park for a meal because the fare reminds me of traditional theme park food (e.g. burgers, fries, chicken tenders). With the the many diverse offerings at the resort, Smokejumpers Grill can easily be overlooked. However after my visit, I can confidently say that I had a great meal! Smokejumpers Grill is a quick service restaurant located inside Disney California Adventure (DCA). Orders can be placed by either the mobile order feature on the Disneyland app as well as a regular standby line. Smokejumpers also offers both indoor and outside seating for diners. As noted, their fare centers around American and traditional theme park fare. During my most recent visit, we ordered one of their seasonal specialities, fish and chips, and a side order of their onion rings. If there is one thing that Smokejumpers Grill does well, its fry their food to perfection. The fish and fries were tasty, crispy, and not too greasy (if that's even possible for a fried platter). The Onion Rings are my favorite item from Smokejumpers Grill from their standard menu. They were plentiful and perfectly crispy. Other items I've previously tried at Smokejumpers Grill have always been prepared well and priced fairly. If you are looking for the burger, fries, chicken tenders type of food in DCA, Smokejumpers Grill is that option at this park. Presently, Smokejumpers Grill is taking applicable discounts: Magic Key discount included. Note you must have a valid park admission into Disney California Adventure to dine at Smokejumpers Grill.

Yelp
1 star I came for 1 item only, the Oogie Boogie Apple Lemonade ($5.99). I should have known better than to get this because I have never been a lemonade person. This is obviously my fault because I thought the drink was too sour and too sweet. I felt the convenience could have been better. For example, this drink came with cherry-flavored popping balls, but they didn't have the boba straws available for use, so I had to get a spoon. Any semblance of being eco-friendly died here since everyone who gets this drink will still wasting plastic here. Service was ok. I wish they had more than one cashier taking cash orders. The interior of the restaurant was pretty neat, but very sparse on the inside. I thought they'd have more tables and seats, but it looks like the majority are outside. I'll be back to review their burgers though!

Yelp
I am not gonna lie; I came here just for the Oogie Boogie Apple Lemonade!!!! And it did not disappoint! It looks super cool! The red syrup looks like blood dripping down! Haha the perfect drink for Halloween! I love ittttttt! I also noticed that the serve an impossible burger here. That is exciting! I wasn't hungry enough to try it though. But I am glad to see that there is a vegetarian option available! I'll be back for that Oogie Boogie Apple Lemonade! So good! And Instagram worthy!!!

Yelp
During my Disney trip my partner and I got the grilled chicken sandwich and the spicy chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken sandwich was not my favorite but my boyfriend enjoyed his spicy chicken sandwich. I wish there was more sauce and condiments. I also got the Jack Daniels coke slushee which is delicious (coke slushee supremacy!) -- Overall, I would recommend the coke slushee and the spicy chicken sandwich. Also sorry for the half eaten food pictures--we were hungry!

Yelp
I know a lot of people say negative things about this place but let me tell you, when your food comes out hot and fresh it's pretty great. We got chicken tenders and a cheeseburger and I have to say the fries were the best I've had on Disney property. They were hot and fresh and delicious. Chicken tenders and cheeseburger were pretty decent too. We managed to snag a seat inside out of the sun so that was a bonus. Heard some Johnny Cash playing over the speakers at one place. Overall we had a good experience here and would return.

Yelp
Cleanliness 4 Costs 3 Cuisine 3 Customer Service 4 This place is almost just like the other Hamburger type restaurants at Disneyland/ California Adventure. It was just a filler. Not super tasty and small. I've tried a few other Hamburger type restaurants at these two parks and they all seem to be the same. So it's just your average theme park hamburger.

Yelp
If you are looking for somewhere to have a decent seated lunch at the park this is it! This restaurant was the only one with plenty of seating and quick service! My family of 5 was looking for a good place for lunch that was stroller accessible. We went to the eatery area in San Francisco-Tokyo and could not find seating for nearly 20 minutes so we decided to try this place. The food was decent, service was fast and the tables were clean. The only thing I didn't like was that my drink (apple lemonade) was entirely too sweet. Even my kids didn't want to drink it. Otherwise the tenders and fries did the job and we appreciated having a covered place to sit for the entire family.

Yelp
The last time I came to Smokejumpers was pre-pandemic. The DIY option of customizing your own burger was great. Extra pile of pickles on the side for me and my youngest! I can see however how it was a cesspool of international germs and why it's likely to never come back. But that is what it is. Currently, you line up, place your order with the cashier and then hand your receipt to the following set of employees who will check off all the items on your order and assemble your drinks. The utensils and condiments are off to the side. The latter now having self-pumps for ranch, ketchup, and mustard. The seasonal $14.49 bacon green-chile mac and cheese fried chicken sandwich is everything I love mashed into one. I admit I was a equal parts intrigued as well as hesitant, so of course I went all in! I was afraid it would fall apart and a messy sandwich but the bun was soft enough it memory foamed its way around all the toppings. Smoky, cheesy, savory, crunchy, and a flavorful dash of chile?! This is by far my new fave item in the Parks. Will be back if this stays on the menu!! Fellow Yelpies: if you try this, I want to know what you think!!

Yelp
I honestly expected this place to have a better overall rating because my food was really good! This is a quick service restaurant in DCA right next to Soarin' with all the typical burger spot options. I'm a veggie gal so I got the double impossible burger & fries and honestly it was delicious. After every bite I had to keep talking about how good it was. Very messy, grab lots of napkins - and enjoy! The cast members were all very kind and service was fast. The line never seems to get too long and there's lots of seating inside and out. There are also some self-service stations where you can fill up on sauces, napkins, utensils, etc. Obviously Disneyland is known for being expensive but the price was just as much as any other veggie burger is. Maybe even less. Overall a great option in DCA!

Yelp
Quick service restaurant next to Soarin. Generally serves burgers, salads, sandwiches, fries, , tenders, etc. Order at the register, pickup at the counter and find a table inside or out. Found a table inside as the weather had been cold, wet and windy. We ordered the grilled chicken salad and double BBQ bacon burger. The salad was good. Plenty of chicken and a savory dressing. The burger was dry. Adding some of the salad dressing helped. Could also grab some ketchup, mayo, mustard or ranch but the dry burger patty wasn't good. The burger came with onion rings. There was a decent breading on it, but they were very over cooked and burnt. I asked for a new batch and they provided a new one. Much better second time around. There's plenty of options to choose from when dining at California Adventure. Just not sure if the quality would be much better at the food is prepared ahead of time and put together when ordered. Keep on Yelp'n!

Yelp
A solid option! I don't eat here often, but I'm thinkin I should swing by some more! Since this restaurant is kind of tucked in a corner of the park, you can count on it to typically not be very busy. It is usually very open and will probably have plenty of seating. I like that you can mobile order both food AND alcohol here! In terms of food, I really enjoyed the Bacon Cheeseburger Loaded Fries and Chipotle BBQ Bacon Double Cheeseburger. The Bacon Cheeseburger Loaded Fries tasted EXACTLY like a Cheeseburger! It is a little heavy on the pickle, but I liked that. It's heavy! I barely ate a little over half before needing to ask for help. But yummy! The Chipotle BBQ Bacon Double Cheeseburger was tasty! It reminds me of a fancier Western Bacon Cheeseburger from Carls Jr. The patties were a tad dry, but the BBQ sauce helped add some moisture. The onion rings here are SOLID. They give you a ton if you order it as a side. The fries are standard but still tasty! They have great drinks here too! I REALLY enjoyed the Honest Abe Blueberry Mead. It was incredibly refreshing and surprisingly light! I also tried the Blue Raspberry Cocktail. It wasn't as sweet as I expected (which I liked) and it tasted like candy! Super enjoyable!

Yelp
10/10 Experience -- Thanks to Charleen! It's not every day you find all the boxes checked at a theme park dining spot -- but this location at Disneyland's Adventure area blew me away! Clean establishment Hot and delicious food Quality service We ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, onion rings, french fries, and the Junior Smokejumpers meal -- and every single item was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Not always easy to find at a theme park, but they nailed it! What truly made this visit unforgettable was Charleen, one of the amazing staff members. From the moment we were greeted with her warm smile, she made us feel not just like guests -- but valued. She brought the human touch that's often missing in busy theme park settings. Her kindness, energy, and attention made such a difference that we made a point to come back the next day just to eat here again! Theme parks can be hectic, but experiences like this -- where the food is great and the staff genuinely cares -- are rare gems. Thank you, Charleen, for making our day that much more magical. If you're at Disneyland/ California Adventure, don't skip this spot. You'll leave full, happy, and smiling -- just like we did! We will definitely be back!!!! - Cindy and DLoCookie from California!!! Enjoyy the Cookie Croissants!

Yelp
Decided to try this place for lunch on my way out from the parks since it had been years since I last ate here. This place is located before Soarin' coming from Buena Street, you'll see it on the right side. The indoor space is big and has a decent amount of seating, but there's also plenty of seating outside. The lines were kind of long and they moved a little slow, regardless if you ordered mobile or not, however the staff were all very friendly. Ordering didn't take long and picking up my food was fairly quick. The longest part was actually getting all my condiments as 1 of the stations wasn't filled, causing a line for the other station that was. I ordered the strawberry shortcake shake and the spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings; the shake was a seasonal item and the onion rings were an upgraded item. I enjoyed the entire meal and had no issues with taste or texture. The shake was really good, but probably a little heavy on the strawberry compote. The sandwich was better than I expected, I only wished there were more pickles! The onion rings were also good, definitely tasted batter fried, which was a nice touch. Only giving 4 stars because the wait for ordering and getting condiments felt a little unnecessarily long considering the crowds weren't that bad, but otherwise I wouldn't mind going back here!

Yelp
Went last Friday and I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich comes with Fries and I devoured it so quick! I wish the sandwich /burger was bigger but it was still yummy and I would go again is s I would recommend to friends and family! I also shared the Santa hat shake! It was soo pretty looking! I would definitely say to share it , it is too rich and sweet but for two it's perfect!

Yelp
Charleen was an absolute delight to speak with. She refilled our waters without us asking, gave us a ton of good food and drink spots in the park, and was an all around joy to be around. Go check out Smokejumpers Grill and make sure to say hi to Charleen!

Yelp
If it were based off the apple lemonade it would be 1 star. It's terrible. Tasted like liquid sugar and not worth $7. Surprised their holiday item is such low quality. Who I came with enjoyed their meal so I rated higher. Hot inside with warm weather, could be cooler. Employee Mark is really great and kind, with very positive energy.
