Smoke's Poutinerie

Absolutely the best place to get poutine in the Bay area. Back in Canada, Smoke's Poutinerie was not my favorite, but with limited options here, it's definitely the go-to. Don't be fooled by all the crazy combinations, go for the traditional. The cheese curds are spot-on but the gravy could definitely be improved - especially on the traditional veggie.

Fast, clean, alot of choices of how to top the fries. I picked bacon cheeseburger was yummy. I added jalapeno & Sriracha for some heat. Only bad, they have limited selection on bottled soda & water. I prefer fountain. I ordered medium size but was only able to finish half. Next time I know to go with just small.

I got the philly cheesesteak. It was my first time ever trying this Canadian favorite, I just wish there was more cheese curds over it was great.

Pros- A lot of options for non vegetarian and the food was great. Efficient service. Cons- Barely couple options for vegetarians. There should be different sizes for the items since it’s not necessary everyone can eat that basket at one sittings and the fries would get soggy after some time.

Fries with gravy and cheese curds. Made fresh, decent enough, $7 snack size. I've tried the more elaborate versions but I don't find the ingredients they use to be of the highest quality so I stick with the traditional version and add some hot sauce. It's decent poutine at all hours.

Not great flavor but is open late at night when you're craving junk food. Decent tasting fries and toppings but nothing special.

Authentic, calorie-packed, artery-clogging poutine!! Almost as good as the original Quebec delicacy. Tons of combinations available and good-sized portions. Mon Dieu!!
