"The classics are the menu at Smokin’ Betty’s, including butternut squash soup, roasted turkey, glazed ham, and all the favorite sides: mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, cornbread muffins, and more. Choose between pie and bread pudding for dessert. Sister restaurant Devil’s Alley in Rittenhouse will be open with a similar setup. $35 ($19.95 for kids); 2:30-8 pm." - Sarah Maiellano

I've been coming here for the last 7-8 years and quality of food has been amazing. Today I got my normal brunch entree and it was a bit disappointing. It's a new take on an old featured dish (Bread Pudding French Toast w mascarpone sauce). Maybe others like it but I didn't. It seemed like a cheap move. Everything else was good, including the mimosa. SB, let me know when you bring back the old recipe and I'll come back.

Myself and 2 friends dined here for restaurant week but chose to order off the regular menu. Nothing is more satisfying at a restaurant than a waiter who knows the menu without ever looking at it. Our waiter was on point and a sweetheart. Very attentive to our needs. The hostesses were also very pleasant. We ordered so much food but bottom line, everything was super delicious. The grilled wings are to die for. Just amazing. The cheesesteak egg rolls were yummy and my Mahi Mahi tacos were great! Menu prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to our return!!!

This is a review of their Thanksgiving pick up meal, so this advice applies once a year. To be fair I have never ordered or been to this place for their regular menu. So I don't know how their usual food is. The Thanksgiving meal they offer, save your money and go somewhere else. I was so dissapointed that I took these photos and shared on my social media asking how much people would pay for the food. I got a lot of cafeteria, prison food, what's my inmate number, greyhound bus station, golden coral, and IKEA cafeteria jokes. The portions are so so tiny. Soup was below average, corn muffins were tiny but the best part, Max n cheese was abover average but it's hard to screw up mac n cheese, green beans were ok, apple pie was average at best, the Turkey was hilarious because it was in a big container and maybe tool up 5% of the space in the box. I'm still getting text messages and comments about my purchase. Positives, when I went to pick up, the two women that were running point on asking for people's names, pick up times, and getting everyone's orders that were waiting. The wait was not too long at all especially with all the people showing up. So give them a raise, but change the quality and quantities of the food.

Great place for brunch! Happy arranged tables for our group of 14. Coffee is outstanding and the food is even better. Can't figure out what you want? Go with the buffalo chicken sandwich or the betty burger. You won't go hungry!

The restaurant presents itself nicely: fine furniture, warm lights, characteristic decorations— the atmosphere is really welcoming and pleasant. The waiters were forthcoming and patient, although there was a little misunderstanding concerning the paying method (which was successfully solved by the manager). The well-stocked menu offers several dishes, including various starters and types of salads, BBQs, hamburgers (also signature ones) and dinner platters. Compared to other restaurants I have been to this isn’t an expensive one and I would say that all in all it is quite cost-effective. The food was delicious and my hamburger was sublime, surely the best a I’ve ever eaten so far. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Smoking Betty's is one of our regular spots. The food is amazing! Drink menu is very limited unless your a draft kind of person....of so your in luck. They have a great selection of different flavors of beer. The atmosphere is always great, good vibes and a mixed group of people. Decent price point, parking is scarce but considering its downtown you shouldn't be surprised as it is right across the street from Jefferson hospital. However there is a paid parking lot right down the street. We visits smoking Betty's at least twice a month. Our favorites are bbq rib tips, Angus beef cheesesteak egg rolls, and barbeque chicken all bbq sauce no dry rub. As far as drinks I get a "Mrs Daily" which is a long island ice tea and my husband always orders knobb creek and coke. I couldn't race enough about this place! 2 bar areas and plenty of window seating, it's also two floors with a separate area if you wanted to have a party or host an event. Do yourself a favor and visit here, it's worth it! Thank me later!!

Went on a recommendation of a friend. It was nice and quaint. Hardwoods through out and tea lights supplied the illumination. My son and I.. (he's my foodie partner!)were seated quickly... It was a Sunday around 7pm. The waitress was very attentive and informative. We had a couple two tables away and their waiter was just as accommodating. We order drinks and an appetizer Reuben egg rolls. They were excellent could have ordered two servings. I had the dry rub ribs, coleslaw and macaroni salad. Son....Combo platter... BBQ Ribs and half chicken... Steamed broccoli and Mac & Cheese. My ribs were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, coleslaw was good not to watery and good amount of crunch. Macaroni salad was very good. Son's BBQ sauce was soy and ginger based which was a welcomed surprise and difference from the normal sugar or vinegar based sauces you find. Mac and cheese was ok from his reaction. He's had better. And steamed broccoli is steamed broccoli no surprises or disappointments there. All and all a good experience! Would definitely recommend and would definitely go again if in the area.......

The food and drinks are great. It's a usually quiet place with great service. Family friendly. It had an upstairs area that can be reserved for events. There is also a bar where you can sit and order drinks.
