Smokin Chicken

Absolute shocking service from this place. We ordered our food from the counter and was given a buzzer to know when food is ready to collect. We sat where we could see the counter so it was not to far away. After around 10 minutes i thought i would wonder over to see if our order was ready as the buzzer did not buzz. As i approached the counter i noticed that there were two trays of food just sitting there, i asked if it was our order? He said yes, that he had buzzed us, and also tried to locate us. Any way we took the food to our table. The food looked nice, but unfortunately the food was stone cold. I took the food back to the counter to explain it was cold. The guy snatched the trays and threw the food in the bin, saying that he will cook some more. I immediately told him not to bother and to refund my money. He messed around with the till and then gave me a receipt saying that my money will be refunded back to my card within a couple of days. Well!! i'm still waiting and its been a couple of months now. I've emailed and tried to ring the number on the receipt. I'm going to have to put this down as $37 dollars loss.

The staff was very nice here. I was able to get a pretty good recommendation that exceeded my expectations. I ordered the open faced Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It wasn’t crazy spicy, the slaw and aioli balanced it out perfectly 👌🏾.

Not mind-blowing, but hits the spot if you’re hungry. I tried the chicken and the loaded fries—decent, nothing I’d rave about, but it’ll satisfy you. The mac and cheese was actually really good. The rice, on the other hand, was way too seasoned for me.

I ordered the 1/4 white chicken with herb sauce. I tried to order green beans as a side, but they were out, so I got yellow rice and French fries. It didn't take long for my food to be ready. The fries were piping hot. The chicken was nicely dressed with the herb sauce. I really enjoyed the chicken and fries. My meal also came with a mixed greens salad. The salad was good but had a tad too much sauce on it. The only disappointment was the yellow rice. It was dry and cold. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. I'd come here again.

Ordered 1/4 chicken dark meat-- the young guy left it too long on the fire so it burned. The older lady threw it away and put a new chicken in the fire. My Nashville bowl was just ok. Rice was on the dry/ hard end. I requested sauce on the side so that it wouldn't be too spicy.

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the food hall. I ordered the 1/4 dark meat chicken. The thigh didn’t actually have a lot of meat on it, but the flavor was amazing. The Mac & cheese was awesome, and the salad was great.

With too many options to choose from in the food hall, if you are craving southern bbq - this is the place!! Incredible options, brisket, pulled pork and ribs are the favs. Sides are traditional, enjoy a few with a platter. Texas toast and homemade pickle is a perfect finish.

My favorite restaurant inside the Assembly Food Hall. The chicken is always absolutely delicious. The Spicy Peri Peri is unreal. The salad served as a side is also very good. The portions are large and it's always fresh and cooked well.
