"Smokin’ D’s is the only place in SF serving pillowy milk bread bao stuffed with Texas-style BBQ. The novelty alone is reason enough to beeline to this Sunset takeout window. You'll also want to go for the fantastic smoked meat that fills the buns. Peppery brisket tastes like it spent an entire presidential term in a smoker, and the pulled pork with gochujang (stuffed into bao and dubbed the “Korean Cowboy”) is juicy without being overly sauced. For now in their soft opening phase, the brisket or pulled pork buns are the only things on the menu—but look forward to sandwiches and indoor dining soon. Derrick Segall is the owner of this company and catering service. The Teachers at my school order at least once a week from him. He also has several places and events he cooks for weekly. Wonderful food. Lunches run around $12 a plate and I can never eat all of it. Nice portions! So for your next event give him a call. The food will impress your guests or company events. Thank you Derrick for catering our school events. The food is amazing. This is a food trailer/catering service so you will have to call him for all of your food service needs. You won't be disappointed.

This food was fantastic all the way around. Form The Brisket, Sausage, Beans (Most excellent) Macaroni and Banana Pudding. Everything was homemade (You can tell and he said so). I was just looking for a place to make food for us on Fathers day with 20 people 8 to 80. Everyone had more than enough to eat and complemented the all of the food. Derek was very accommodating as well Very glad to have found Derek and his place. We will become regulars when ordering food for the family.
