Finally had a chance to try out the food here. This is a popular hawker stall that sells atas (premium) western food, grilled over charcoal fire. They are very popular during the covid era, with queues and waiting times just being very discouraging. After so many years, I dropped by during lunch (and fortunately, they are still operating). Their menu consists of both staple western food found in any western stalls, but also some premium cuts (wagyu, iberico pork, snapper etc) available too. Price is slightly on the high side with chicken chop/ chicken cutlet etc at $10 or close to $10. But judging from the way they prepared the food, I am willing to fork out the price for the value of the meal. $22 for a dish of delicious seared Iberico pork is worth the occasional splurge in the hawker centre. My partner also had the crispy chicken cutlet. First impression is the piece of chicken is really huge. I also liked the accompanying coleslaw. Home-made, carrot slices are very visible, with a dash of sweetness coming from the sliced grapes they added (very creative). It is also rather dry, not the creamy-wet type. Also love the shoestring fries, not soggy and still crispy after a while.
