Smoothie joint

I’ve been on the hunt for a good smoothie in the lakeview area for some time now, and checked out Smoothie Joint today with my husband. It was absolutely delicious. Ms. T, the owner, was so kind and answered all of our questions. My husband had the yellow line smoothie and I tried the pink line. Super fresh fruit and great prices. We will be back!!!

Smoothie joint is the highlight of my day. I feel amazing after stopping in to order their Greenline Express smoothie or drink a juice. The staff are all super friendly and care about their customers. Best part about Wrigly.

I received a Smoothie kit in the mail that turned out to be the best gift that I could've asked for ! The 8 Smoothies were all labeled with the flavors inside and they all tasted amazing ! They were in the cutest package and had a Smoothie for no matter my mood or plans ! Definitely worth it so if you are in the Chicago area and love fruit and anything to do with fruit please go pay the all natural Smoothie Joint a visit. They also do the cutest fruit bouquets for any time of year !

My friend and I were in the mood for smoothies after taking a kickboxing class not too far away (highly recommend Mind Body Defense). I loved the Green Line Smoothie and my friend really liked her Red Line Smoothie, which she said tasted more like a strawberry lemonade.

We got the pink line and it was very bitter. Not sure what we expected but I thought maybe there would be a tiny bit of sweetness.

So today I tried supporting a small business and was excited to see a local smoothie bar in the area. As I walked in the customer service off back was TERRIBLE. I walked in with a smile and greeted the worker no response, I assumed he didn't hear me as he showed no emotion, smile or response. When I received my smoothie the lid was not on and he watched me struggle to put it on as it was messy from him pouring into the cup. I said thank you and once again he did NOT respond. Overall customer service could be better and a little over priced but smoothie was delicious.

Cute little spot with fresh fruits cute to order! The lady who was making everything was supper friendly and the drinks were amazing. Definitely will be back!

Best place for a smoothie in chicago super friendly staff & they even let me sample some other great smoothies.

Getting smoothies here is a relatively quick experience, especially when the demand is so high on weekend mornings and the staff is limited. The drinks are creatively named, but I'd say there isn't much creativity in what's included within the smoothies -- protein costs extra when it's usually part of the smoothie at other shops. Points off for the air conditioning unit that routinely drips fluids onto patrons when they open the door, as well as for how coarse my green line express smoothie was. Despite that, they have quality customer service, offer fruit bouquets, and I'd much rather support this local business than another popup Herbalife spot that charges far less.

Just awesome! Staff was friendly and quick. Smoothie hit the spot on a hot summer day. I'll be back!

Loved it here! Very welcoming atmosphere, and the smoothies are delicious! I got the blue line and my boyfriend got the yellow line. Super clever names for their smoothies too!

This place had great smoothies with lots of options available. It's at a great location, the service was fast. It's definitely a must try!

The restaurant is dirty inside--you can visibly see dirty dishes and rags piling up behind the counter. They also don't provide fresh ingredients on top of the smoothie bowls. They use frozen fruit.

Contrary to other reviews on here, it appears I had a very subpar experience. The staff seemed disinterested, if not borderline disappointed, that I showed up at the unholy time of....4PM on a Friday. $9 for a large that is smaller than Starbucks grande by the eye test.

After making my kids some of the best smoothies they said they had ever tasted, the owner of this fine establishment actually tracked us down at Wrigley Field before we went into the stadium to give me back my credit card which I had carelessly left at her store. Faith in humanity restored! Thank you so much and will return next time we are in Chicago for more delicious smoothies!

The smoothie did the trick!!! It was delicious, nutritious, and quickly made. The owner was personable and friendly. She even let me try her chocolate covered strawberries. And the best part of it all - it's Black owned!!!!!

What a great addition to the neighborhood! Tucked just off the side street from Clark St this place offers a good selection of smoothies and juices that offer something for everyone. I've loved both the blue line and purple line smoothies and can't wait to try some more. A Large is only $1 more than a Medium so you might as well upgrade. Make sure you sign up for rewards so you don't miss a free smoothie. The owner is extremely nice as well.

My wife and I just happened to be in the area. There was someone handing out smoothie samples. Once I realized what it was, I was more than happy to give it a try. The sample was amazing! We decided place an order. We were taken care of by the owner herself. She is a very kind and charming person who gave us a little history of her journey. We ordered the Blue Line Smoothie (smoothies are named after the "El" train system). It was wonderful! We will definitely make our way back soon!

I came from California and visited the Smoothie Joint. The staff was very friendly and Knowledgeable. I had the green line smoothie it was very flavorful and filling. They have a large variety of smoothies, juices and smoothie bowls on the menu. I would definitely visit again when I come back to Chicago

Blue line drink is actually blue and tasted smoothie. They need a more creative name for this place tho.

Had the Green Line Smoothie, so delicious and fresh! Great customer service and I felt a genuine friendliness. It's tucked off to the side of the street, hope more people can discovery and enjoy this gem!

I've been in the neighborhood for 6 years, and the couple of locations I could walk to for a fruit smoothie craving have disappeared. I've been bummed about it, but Smoothie Joint opened up 6 days ago and solved my smoothie crisis! Got a Purple Line smoothie because I love me some berries. No dairy: just fresh fruit, ice, coconut water. It was tasty and satisfying! Will definitely be back to try other menu items!

I love the Smoothie Joint! As a California native, I'm very particular when it comes to bowls and smoothies-- and these are awesome! I've only tried the Yellow Line and the Green Line Express so far, but I'm sure the others are also great. The staff is funny and friendly, too! You will not be disappointed.
