"Snack Camp is a new snack shop and tea bar located in West Village. It offers international snacks and imported candy bars. The menu is inspired by the owners' travels and is geared towards children, featuring Japanese-style onigiri, German-style currywurst with french fries, and vegan sloppy joes priced between $1.50 and $6. The shop also offers a variety of loose leaf teas and desserts like cookies, brownies, and candy bars." - Brenna Houck

Adorable lil family vibe shop. Never had Vietnamese coffee before, it was a lovely new treat. Ice cubes are even coffee so it’s never watered down. Deserts are generously sized for the price. Dog and human friendly

My husband and I dropped in a few weeks ago and had their egg sandwich on a croissant with smoked salmon. Delicious! Got a sugar cookie as well, also excellent. We’re looking forward to coming back next time we’re in the neighborhood.

By far, the best breakfast sandwiches in Detroit. Perfect textures and flavors. Also, the iced coffee is fantastic. We will be back soon!

This is a super cute little place that has interesting food. The owners take a lot of pride and care in what they do. The pastries are made from scratch in house, and are very very good.

The tea selection at Snack Camp is amazing. I don't know a lot about tea (other than I like it) but the owners are very friendly and knowledgeable on the subject. Even better though is the food. They bake all kinds of cookies, brownies, etc and what I tried was delicious. Also, and probably the coolest aspect of all is the various street food items from around the world. Currywurst anyone?! Snack Camp is a very unique and cool addition to the area.

This cafe has an amazing variety of teas, coffees, pastries, and lunch/dinner food at amazing prices. The staff is always incredibly friendly and my order is always prepared quickly and accurately. This is one of my favorite places to treat myself with an amazing lunch, iced coffee, and pastry. West Village is lucky to have this business :) **My personal favorites are the Croque Madame and Vietnamese Iced Coffee, but I have confidence that anything from this cafe would be amazing.

Very first time here and found out they’ve been open for 3 months. What a wonderful addition to the area and a must visit indeed. The menu offerings, including vegan options are in abundance with sweets to vary seasonally over time but many delightful and diverse offerings for sure. The teas are delightful and I was able to take home several samples of teas I’ve never tried but always wanted to. Today they offered a Tibetan tea which is now one of my favorites and highly recommend for tea enthusiasts. The husband and wife who opened this establishment were very pleasant to speak with and we had quite the conversation about their love of travel but most importantly their love and passion of Detroit to which they reside and now do business. Go visit them, say hello and you won’t be disappointed. They’ve worked long and hard to open their new dream and you will see why as they make you feel very welcome and you will leave with a smile!

Not going to lie they are pretty good. Colombian hot dogs and vegan sloppy joes. Teas and cookies are great🌲🌲🌲 cool little hippie spot. But seriously you can’t make a hot dog in a hour? ESP for $7 because u put potato chips on it?!

Yelp
What is this sorcery? I thought a friend recommended this place for a cookie butter baked good. I was wrong, it wasn't even this place. But they had a caramel brownie that looked delicious and a person that I assume was one of the owners said it wasn't something she baked often. So I got a brownie. I happened to be on the phone with a friend when I took a bite. I was left speechless. It's hands down one of the best brownies I've ever eaten. Moist and fudgy, thick layer of caramel in the center. I immediately put the brownie back in the bag, it deserved a plate and ice cold glass of milk, a movie and relaxing evening. No this brownie deserved better than a hasty bite in the car. So now I have a date with one of the best brownies I've ever come across on four continents and I'll definitely be back to snack camp. Coffee menu looked super interesting.

Yelp
Such a quaint little pace to go when you need a coffee, tea or a snack to pick you up. I bought a chocolate chip cookie for my son and a coffee for myself. No complaints as we both devoured our "meal". Owners are friendly and make you feel right at home. Bonus, there is a yoga studio next door!

Yelp
Cute and yummy! Had a good iced coffee and iced tea. Super affordable and taking orders through the door for quarantine.
